Mapping old data in SAP??
Hi ALL
In our organization SAP has implemented just few mnths back. So, now client rqmnt is to have all the PRs, POs & GRN in SAP those which made in TALLY before SAP implemented and all the cost should be booked in the past date..But doing all this activity is not an easy task b'cos we have almost 30 projects running presently....So , pls anybody suggest me the feasible & easier way to do this ....
Fast reply will be rewarded with full points...
Thanks
Vikram
Dear Prathmesh
I think that you have not understood my question properly..i know that i have to create new projects in sap...but my question is that how to get all the commitment and actual cost shown in my projects in past date related to the POs & GRNs done in past in Tally... without entering individual PR, PO & GRN manually in SAP.. So that i can have the track on both basis i.e quantity & Value ..
Regards
Vikram

Upload Demand Data adds up to the old data for SAP SPP
While uploading demand data using csv files, it adds the demand values again if uploaded for same part- same time- location again.
Do we an option in the data upload process, where in we can configure it so that it overwrites the old data and add the new data.Hi Bhargav ,
When you are repetitively load the same data, there exists the requests in request tab page of Manage Data Targets which are active and again you are loading the same data with different request ,hence it gets added ,
If you don't want then you need to delete this old request and then load the data or in InfoPackage in Update Tab page you can select the delta update or full update option .

Process to map payment data in soft file format into SAP ISU
Hi Experts,
I am preparing TO BE documentation for a power sector client. Currently payment is received in soft file format through below medium -
· Internet Payment Via payment gateway Bill desk.
· Payment using ATM Machines
· Payment Thru Easy Bill Pay option.
Than currently data is downloaded (CCR for internet, ATM) and entries are posted in cash book.
Can someone help me what process will be used to upload the data in SAP-ISU system and also post the payment in customer account.
Thanks in advance,Hi,
You need to develop a customised program to upload the file in a SAP acceptable format and then call SAP standard program RFKKZE00 to process the same, create payment lots and post the amount into customer account.
You need to perform validation and checks against the file format of the file that you ar uploading.
Once the file passes the checks, it is reformatted to a file which is accepted by the SAP standard program RFKKZE00.
A file in the SAP accpted format will have-
One file header record (BFKKZGR00 structure) per file
One payment lot header (BFKKZK structure)
Any number of items (structure BFKKZP)
You can include data for any number of lots in a file. However, you have to ensure that you always specify the lot header first and then the related line items.
After you have created reformatted file, then perform a check to ensure that the source file and the reformatted file has the same date and no data has been missed.
Call the SAP standard program RFKKZE00 (T.code-FPB3) to process the reformatted file.
You can goto t.code -SLG1 to check for any errors\messages.
Hope it helps......
Thanks,

Method for Downloading Huge Data from SAP system
Hi All,
we need to download the huge data from one SAP system & then, need to migrate into another SAP system.
is there any better method, except downloading data through SE11/SE16 ? please advice.
Thanks
pabiI have already done several system mergers, and we usually do not have the need to download data.
SAP can talk to SAP. with RFC and by using ALE/IDOC communication.
so it is possible to send e.g. material master with BD10 per IDOC from system A to system B.
you can define that the IDOC is collected, which means it is saved to a file on the application server of the receiving system.
you then can use LSMW and read this file with several hundred thousand of IDOCs as source.
Field mapping is easy if you use IDOC method for import, because then you have a 1:1 field mapping.
So you need only to focus on the few fields where the values changes from old to new system.. -
Hi,
We have encountered the following issue.
Using the SAP mobile application (version 1.1.3 (Android) - 1.9.6 iOS)), we connect successfully to database but when we try to open the Business Partners and Items, a "No Data" message appears.
If I insert a BP in mobile, the SAP Business One show these BP that I insert, but in the App I have the message "No data".
What could be causing that?
Thank you everyoneHi Louran,
Please check below links.

Hello everyone,
We are going to give the SAP server to another company from inside our organization and we are 'cleaning' up the data they won't need.
For instance, we will use transaction code OBR1 to clean up some credit movements, etc..
I know that there are some transactions/programs to clean up the masterdata, but, is there any program I could exclude the following data from SAP:
- Sales Orders
- Deliveries
- Invoices
- VK12 registry as well
Thanks for the help!
Ricardo Sancio Lóra - BrazilHi,
Did you give a thought about Archiving of data? I guess by Archiving you can Archive all old data and keep in your record and can free SAP database.

Webi report gives old data in infoview on refresh
Hi Experts,
We are facing this strange issue on a webi report after some data updation in the SAP BW infocube.
The webi report is based on the universe which is connected to an infocube in our BW dev system. After some data updation in the cube, we had tested the report in webi rich client and everything was working fine (the newly updated data from cube was reflecting). Now, we had tested the same report in infoview, but it was showing the old data only. We had tried exporting the report once again to infoview, refreshed universe structure; but without any success.
What appeared to be even more strange was that the last refresh time was also not changing. While running the report in the infoview it hardly takes 40secs. But on refreshing it says the last refresh time was 5mins.
Any help on this would be highly appreciated.
Regards,
Arun.it sounds like when you refresh report in Infoview you get the cached data, it never goes to the DB to fetch new one...
You'll need to enable traces on webi processing server as well as SOFA/MDX tracing and review log files to see if requests are going to db or not and what is being returned.
It could be at webi proc level or at your BW level.
You can also try disabling webi caching in webi proc server properties and see what happens. -

I have to transfer huge file data (few lakhs records) to SAP business transaction. What are the different ways to do the same? I have heard of BDC and LSMW. But are there any more options?

Transfer Of Data from Sap to Oracle with the help of Enterprise Services.
Hello,
We want to transfer data from Sap to Oracle using standard Enterprise Services. Some fields were not available in the existing standard Enterprise Services,so we have enhanced the existing Services by writing code inside BADI available with Enterprise Services.Rest of the fields we have mapped with the existing fields available in standard Enterprise Services. But,the Oracle people want to fetch all data from Sap without entering any input as a mandatory field in the Enterprise Services. The existing standard Enterprise Services require to enter any field as mandatory and are not accepting the range in input for multiple records.e.g.All enterprise Services related to Sales Orders are displaying only one sales Order. We have searched all Enterprise Services for Sales Order(related to reading of data),but not able to find service which would display mutiple records without entering any input.ECC_SALESORDER009QR is the only service which is displaying multiple records without entering any input, but the required fields are not available in this service. So,kindly suggest what we need to do further.
1.Should we go for customization of services completely,so that it would fulfil our requirement.
2.Are there standard Enterprise Services exists which would we give us data in range(all records).
If they exists, please specify the names of Services for reading Purchase Order,Production Order,BOM etc.
Thanks & Regards,
Divya.Hi Vaibhav,
Let me tell you the objective in detail.
Objective.
To develop a package solution which will work as a bridge between Oracle APS and SAP system so that customers using SAP will be able to use advantages of Oracle APS for their planning needs.
This will consist of following major components:
OA Templates is an Oracle utility to load data from any legacy system to Oracle APS using standard flat files.
Oracle has developed an Application Integration Architecture which is a standard architecture used for integration of Oracle products with other systems.
Enterprise services is an SAP utility to communicate with SAP.
AIA canonicals are standard canonicals developed by Oracle where we have to map data fields from destination system (Oracle APS) and source system (SAP)
Fusion middleware is being used to develop application interfaces following AIA standards.
Tasks at stake:
Mapping of Oracle APS fields and SAP Enterprise Service fields to AIA canonicals
Technical work of developing middleware using Oracle Fusion
From Sap side,we have to map fields which we have received from Oracle with the help of Enterprise Services, rest consumption of these services is done by Oracle guys. So,suggest is there enterprise services available which would give us multiple records .
Thanks & Regards,

How to retrieve the data from SAP database.
Hi Pals,
How to retrieve data from SAP R/3 System to my third party software. I will make my query little bit more clear. There is a list of assets entered and stored in the SAP system. For example 3 mobile phones.
1) Mobile 1- Nokia
2) Mobile 2 - Samsung
3) Mobile 3 u2013 Sony
Now think I do not know what all assets is there. I have to retrieve the data and get it on my third party software. Just display the list of assets. Lets say SAP XI is also there. Now how will I map it and get the details.
Please give me step by step method.
N.B: Just to read the data from SAP database.
Please make the flow clear step by step.
Thanking you
AKHi,
You can use RFC or ABAP Proxy to make synchronous call with SAP.
Under RFC or ABAP Proxy Program you can get the data from SAP tables. Direct access to SAP Database is not preferrable even if its possible.
The better way to go for RFC or PROXY.
You will send the request from Third party system and the it will be as input parameters from RFC/ Proxy it will response based on it.
This got it all..

Loading Master Data from SAP R/3
Hi Friends.,
I'm going to load master data from SAP R/3 FI Modules to BW, but what do these objects mean by ?
0LOGSYS - Source System
0SOURSYSTEM - Source system ID
I'mn't understanding clearly, and also transfer rules aren't mapped properly.
can anybody clarify these things ?
Regards.,
Balaji K. ReddyHi Balaji,
You need to use these objects when your BW is feed by different source system and you want to map differences beetween Master and Transactional Data fed by the different systems (different R/3 - Flat File - Legacy Systems - ...).
If you do not have this situation you can avoid to use these objects (probably you find these objects in Tab compound of your MD).
Ciao.
