Maps for France and Germany
I'm sure the answer to this is simple.
I downloaded Maps version 3.03 for my E55. But I cannot see any map detail for France or Germany. What am I doing wrong?
The file I used is - maps_installer_3.03_10wk1_b05_s60_3.2.Nocs.sis
Any help gratefully received
I thought I had got there! , but realised my memory card was only 2Gb.

Recently can't play music samples on Amazon France (and Germany, though they've now gone over to Flash, which seems to have fixed it after (re)installing Flash Player) via their usual 'Listen to all' button. It has been reported by other uses that RealPlayer is having some compatibility problems with Firefox. I believe this is mostly notorious with RealPlayer Plugin Record Plugin, but it may be the same thing here. Please contact RealPlayer developers for support. -

I understand, you are using extended Receiver Determination using Operational Mapping (which has Java Mapping). And, there is an error message u201CError while determining root tag of XMLu201D, when you are doing configuration test.
Can you please test, the Operational Mapping (which has Java Mapping) separately in ESR, with payload which is coming now. It should produce a XML something like this [Link1|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi711/helpdata/en/48/ce53aea0d7154ee10000000a421937/frameset.htm]

If it is not (I Think it will not), then there is some problem in Java Mapping coding. Please correct it. Last option, if your Java code is small in length; you may paste it here, so that we can have a look at the cause of issue.

Please let me know;
1. If Finished and Semi finsihed goods are maintained with price indicator 'S' and all are inhouse production then SAP updata moving average price or these material or not ?
2. If SAP updata MAP for finished and semi-finished, later can we change map manually or not ? if yes How ?
3. Is there any way to stop updata of map by sap in case of finsihed and semifinished goods.
Actually according to my product costing variant, I dont need any price in map of FG and SFG. Kindly give me your expert openion on this issue.

1. If you maintain price control S for inhouse produced finished product also, system updates moving average price with resepect stock and value of production (may be period wise production cost may be varying). But this is statistical.
2. You can change price control from S to V if you require. You need to change first in material type and then change in material master.
3. If the value is getting updated also it will have no impact. In case of product cost variant also it will get updated.

IProcurement mapping for catageories and org

I have a requirement to restrict the catageries in IProcument based on the Org_id.
Can any body help which tables i need to consider to map the catageries and org_id. Currently i am using the follwoing tables icx_cat_categories_tl ,

US based implementation roll out for France and India
We have a U.S. based implementation that is rolling out to France and India , and we have the U.S. chart of accounts set as the leading ledger. I knew France and India has their own country reporting format. Is it OK to just have country chart of account without activating the non- leading ledger? What needs to be considered for this country roll out .

EDI Idoc Mapping For Apparel and footwear Solutions (AFS)
Hello Gurus
I am trying to map Orders sent thru EDI using message type Orders and Idoc type /AFS/ORDERS06 and process code J3AA.
I am running into problems like no item category could be found and other errors which stops me proceeding further. I have worked with after market EDI and when I use message Orders and Orders 05 Idoc. I do not run inot these issues.
Is there any specific doumentationavailable for processing AFS EDI?. Any help would be appreciated and points will be awarded.

Separate G/L Mapping for MR21 and VKU7
At this time it appears that both transactions MR21 (Cost Adj) and VKU7 (Revaluation of Mkdwn) are both mapped to the same G/L Account. Does anyone know how to separate them to post to different G/L Accounts?

As per my knowldge, the solution for this is to maintain another statistical condition type identical to the cenvat non deductible condition type and bypass that to a custom defined account key with G/L ccounts in OB40.

Sorry for the long post. I want to know if Flex/Apollo would
be a good platform for the following project.
There's also a question of how to store the data, but it will
almost certainly be XML.
Briefly, here are the questions, with more background to make
sense of
them below. I think it's an interesting project and we're
looking for contributors!
1. What's a good way to store about 20,000 texts that are
highly
hyperlinked and so that on would have a high degree of
flexibility in
how to display within both desktop and web-based
applications?
2. What's a good platform for developing an application to
display
the texts (usually several at once) in a flexible manner that
would also
a) be easy to finddevelopers who can work in the platform
b) be as OS independent as possible
c)enable one to utilize as many already existing modules as
possible, to speed development
d) be easily able to construct a web interface to interface
with the same text database.
e) have the ability to release code with some kind of open
source license.
The application I want to build is as follows:
So about two weeks ago I got very annoyed that there is no
freely
available Judaic text database (e.g. Bar Ilan/DBS Master
Library/Judaic Classics Library) type program available (the
commercial packages range from $80-$600).
There are of course some very good websites that
have a good amount of material easily and freely accessible,
but it's
largely spread out and the interfaces are pretty weak. The
same
applies to the commercial packages, the interface is quite
utilitarian, and doesn't seem to have evolved since the
mid-90s.
I stumbled across the website www.hebrewbooks.org which has
scanned
11,000 books, and OCRd about 10,000 to varying degrees of
accuracy.
They are also more than happy to share their information
freely. I
spoke with the head of the site, and he was into the idea.
Two things need to happen simultaneously. One being that the
texts
need to be prepared, which is a huge task in and of itself.
The most
important thing is to create the appropriate hyperlinks. In
most
cases, there is a central text (CT), say the Torah, with
commentaries
moving linearly along the CT and commenting on phrases as
they appear
in the CT. Each comment is called a Dibur HaMatchil (DH). Of
course,
within each DH, there might be references to other parts of
the CT, or
to virtually any other text. This really is like a normal
hyperlink.
This structure is pretty constant throughout the Jewish
library, its
found in the Torah, Mishnah, Talmud, Midrash, Shulchan Aruch,
etc.
Each of these CTs however, have different organizational
systems. The
Torah has Books, Parshas, as well as the Chapter/Verse
system. The
mishna has Tractates divided into Chapters, divided into
Mishnayot.
The Talmud has Tractates which are usually referenced
according to
Page and Side of the page (printing is standard enough to
allow for
this). Shulchan Aruch has 4 sections, which contain Simanim,
and
S'eefim. Sometimes, there are multiple CTs following the same
pattern
and discussing the same topic, so in essence, one CT becomes
a
commentary on another CT.
There are of course many books which are not necessarily
commentaries
on any specific text (i.e. not structured according to DHs),
but say
philosophical works which will quote from all over the place.
Even though we won't be trying to organize it all at once, we
need to
create a good data structure from the get go that allows for
all of
these connections to be made, that is easily searchable
(shouldn't be
a problem), and easily browsable (also not a big deal).
As for what needs to be done with this data...
I really see the killer app, what nobody else has done yet
to my
knowledge, as being able to select a CT, and choose which
commentaries
you would like to see on it, and then having a 'book'
autogenerated on
the fly, layed out according to pre-defined templates or
user-defined
rules (to a certain degree). With books now, any given
edition you
choose always has either too few, too many, or not quite the
right
combination of commentaries. I see this really becoming
awesome in
the next few years as e-paper/e-book readers become
(hopefully) cheap
and ubiquitous.
Ideally, there should be a tagging engine, so that each book
can come
with some pre-defined tags, allow the user to add their own
tags (and
share them back with the community), auto-generate keywords
(maybe
distinct from tags?) for a given text and then have search
and browse
features that leverage those tags. So if you want to see all
13th
century books from France and Germany dealing with personal
injury
law, it'll be a snap to find them. Or to conduct a free text
search
through any subset of the library you want.
Also, I'd love to see tag clouds and information mapping a la
www.quintura.com
www.kartoo.com
www.kartoo.net (no search here, just nice graphics)
www.ujiko.com
This would make it much easier to explore new sources of
information.
All current programs essentially require you to know exactly
what
you're looking for before you start. If you don't have the
right
phrase, you'll never find what you need, and there's no easy
way to
discover it.
And of course, there have to be tabs which can display either
an
autoformatted page, or a pdf of the original book.
So this is a big project, as you can see, but a good portion
of the
work seems to be done to me. On the data side, 10,000 books
are
already scanned and OCRd, remaining is the laborious task of
marking
them all up. Here, it would hopefully be possible to create
small
programs that would enable the masses of people who are very
familiar
with the texts, but know no computer-ese to aid in the task.
I think
there would be good response for at least the most important
texts.
On the UI side, all of the search/database features I
mentioned above
I think could be found in various open source repositories,
with only
the need to customize the code. The auto-layout stuff also
seems
pretty simple from an algorithmic point of view, assuming you
have
data that's appropriately marked up. Particularly if we stick
to
pre-defined templates. Adding user-defined templates later as
appropriate.
I'm probably infinitely naive, as I haven't coded anything
since
Pascal. I see a timeline of 1 year to a proof-of-concept type
application with a limited dataset, and 5 years to realize
what I've
described above.
FYI, in addition to finding good hearted volunteers, there
are some
good fundraising leads at the moment that could help things
considerably.
Any advice you have is more than welcome. If it's easier over
the
phone, then let's talk.

Maps for India should be split by state
India Maps are 100MB - and most people do not need all of these. I Request Nokia to split them by state and make them available accordingly
They tend only to split files from 200-300Mb (France and Germany are examples).
At 100Mb, India is not much bigger in terms of map data than Belgium or the Netherlands - I can only assume that it doesn't have full detailed map data for the whole country. -
Different maps for every month in FDQM for a single location/Entity

Is it possible to have different account maps for each and every month in FDQM for a single entity/location.
The requirement is,client needs to change accounts map each and every month,for eg; if in Jan ,account 1 is mapped to X, in feb same account 1 is mapped to y.
Could any one tell me if this is possible in FDQM,if yes..how can we maintain different account maps for each period for one specific entity.
RegardsThis is possible with the appropriate business process. FDM will apply the current map that exists to the current dataset. It will not retroactively change prior periods unless you specifically reprocess the maps (wither by reimporting data or by selecting Process Logic/Maps) for historical data.
So as a map is updated monthly, the historical data is maintained and the current data uses the "new" map. If for some reason the prior period does need to be reprocessed with the "old" map, you can use the restore function to bring the map back to what it was during that period. -

I asked the same thing that when the map of Pakistan is going to be available through ovi suite. They replied that the Nokia team is aware. They will start working on it after they get sufficient data about road maps of Pakistan. So, you just have to wait for it..

And please every one, dont get too angry if nokia dosnt published any map yet. And if you talk about sales, Nokia's market is much more in India then Pakistan.
They even have their saperate Nokia company which is nokia India. They even support ovi music store. They create Nokia Mobiles them selves as made in India with a specific indian code. they also have managed ovi maps them selves with voice guidence.
If you wonder that Urdu voice guidance is available but not Pakistan's map. That's because urdu is also spoken in india.
So, we all should give some time to Nokia to work on it instead getting angry or change the whole phone, just bcuz of lack of Maps.
If you want it, get Google Maps.
And dont think i belong to india. I m also a Pakistani from its capital, Islamabad.
Even If in whole Pakistan, people stop using Nokia. Its still not gonna change its highest market. It would be just a minor loss.
And other part is that Nokia is best in Hardware. like camera, sound, flash web browser even better gaming with N900 than iphone 3gs .. who will change his phone just for lack of GPS.

Hi, i was browsing the navgable maps on nokia website, and it shows that jordan has a navigable one. i have downloaded the map through the latest map loader available on the website, downloaded jordan map, however it does not show any details other than highways, no streets and no other details. is this what it is supposed to be?? I have tried other maps for saudi and qatar, and they show all details with locations too.
Please help..Probably we're not with the right "potential buyers/cost of detailed maps" ratio Luckily we still get fine maps for the bigger cities and Bulgaria is not so big so that one can get easily lost... Nevertheless, I've already written to Navteq hoping they'll fix that. Cheers, guys!

I just bought my new Nokia E71 mobile device, but I am not new user of Nokia mobile phones. Before I have used Nokia N95. When I bought my N95 (December 2007) I had Nokia Maps version 1.1, and in that version of Nokia Maps the maps for my country (Republic of Macedonia), especially for the capital Skopje, were perfect. Almost every street was findable and the maps worked perfect. When I install the latest firmware of my old N95 phone I got it Nokia Maps 2.0 and starting from that time everything is bad. The maps for Skopje and for whole country don't work. I can find only the main highroad (I think the name of the highroad is E-75). Now, it's same with my new mobile device E71. I have tried to install older version of Nokia Maps, but it's impossible because the newer version is installed on my device and I can't uninstall the newest version. Can somebody help with this? It will be very usefull if someone could tell me how to uninstall the preinstalled Nokia maps.
