Maps for Sports Tracker

I've installed the App. Sports Tracker. It works fine, but I can't see any map.
In the download picture there is a map in the screenshot.
How can I get the data from the installed maps.
Have I to download maps?

When I open Sports Tracker it asks for what connection to use.. Even if I select 'Cancel' ..it shows the Maps.. Do not remember if in the first instance I had used Internet or not..and now they are stored somewhere on the phone..

  • Manual for Sports Tracker

    Hi !
It takes a long time (can be up to more than 10 min) for my Sports Tracker to get a signal from GPS.  I wonder if it has to do with the setting "GPS Filtering" ? But there is no help for ST.  I wonder where I can get the manual ?  And what does "GPS Filtering" mean
What is "Autolap" ?  How does it work ?
         Thanks very much.

  • What version of Sports Tracker for 6650 fold?

There are seven different download links for Sports Tracker, depending on S60 version and phone model.  The 6650 fold is not listed for any of them.
I'm hoping the app runs on the 6650 fold, and the page simply has not been recently updated with newer phone models.
    Any suggestions?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Try the version for S60 v3.2 devices like the N96 and 6220 classic as they have the same operating system.
This is the direct link to it:
    https://sportstracker.nokia.com/nts/mobile/downloadclient.do?p=32
There is no guarantee that it will work as the 6650 fold is not a normal nokia model, it's a custom made network model.  It is worth trying though.

  • Why sports tracker not available for N97

Why sports tracker not available for N97? One of the most expensive nokia phones without sports tracker. Its weird.. nokia whats happening, dont disappoint N97 customers

A quick google or a look in Betalabs will tell you that Nokia diverged Sports tracker last year so it is no longer "Nokia" http://runningdigital.com/2009/10/21/nokia-sports-tracker-update-sports-tracking-technologies/
Nothing on their site yet http://www.sportstrackingtechnologies.com/, but presumably something will pop up on Ovi Store in the future.

  • Sports Tracker - where's the map ?

    Hi !
Is the map supposed to appear in Sports Tracker ?  In one of the views, I can see that the application is trying to map out my route but there background is blank.
Is this a problem with my phone ?  If this is as design, what is the purpose of this view as there is no map to reference my position.
    Thanks.

    Hi fogster74
Presumably you have already accessed this settings page as shown in screenshot and changed to "Phone and Network"?

  • Nokia maps / sport tracker problems on 5800

hi ive got nokia maps version 2.0 on my 5800 and just downloaded sport tracker but it doesnt show the map . i gather it only works on version 3.0 but i cant seem to update my maps or my map installer . anyone got any ideas cheers

Unfortunately NokiaSportsTracker and NokiaMaps don't share the map-ressources (it's probably planned in future versions of NokiaSportsTracker).
Therefore you have to establish an internet connection when you start NokiaSportsTracker and after that the application will load the maps from the web if you are on the map-page of a track.

  • N97 Ovi maps clashing with Google maps or sports t...

I have a UK Vodafone N97, Had Ovi maps working a treat and really pleased with it.  However, I just installed google maps and then Nokia Sports tracker.  Sports tracker wouldn't "track " at all and this then stopped Ovi maps from finding a signal.
However, Google maps finds 3-5 satellites and plots very quickly so I know the GPS receiver is working fine.
I uninstalled Sports tracker and Google maps, deleted all Ovi map data and did a soft reset, then re-installed Ovi maps for the UK  ( I can not delete Ovi maps app from the phone, software V21)
I still cannot get a lock with Ovi maps but having put Google maps back on, that works fine!!
Any thoughts other than a hard reset as I have so much installed on the phone.
    Thanks,
    Martin

Google maps uses a different server, and installing it may have changed the server settings in the phone location settings. Go to Menu>Apps>Location>Positioning>Positioning Server> make sure that the server is still supl.nokia.com

Phone - Nokia N85 Sports Tracker Version 3.01(0) (S60 5.0) (S60 3.2) Hi Really enjoying this software, but I would like the option of uploading to the Nokia Sports Tracker website. I have an account on that site. I have everything working ok on the phone - Ovi Maps, GPS, Internet, etc. Nokia Sports Tracker Beta website logs in ok, but any support refers to Beta 9, not the latest version 3.0. I see plenty of people using the website to upload workouts. On the phone, if I go to Training Diary, there is no no 'Send' in the option, but an upload button. Selecting this button, I only get: "Web Service. Our completely renewed online service for easy sharing and enhanced data visualization will be launched later. Stay tuned for an update!" I guess that this means that because I installed the latest version, that I can't use the web service! Anyone here have the same issue. Anyone have any news? .

  • Help uploading nokia sports tracker media

    Hello
I have started using nokia psrts tracker. I uploaded my lastest hike stats. When my phone asked to fidn associated media i entered 'ok'. it found all my pictures for that hikes on my cell but failed to upload them.
I have tried repeating the upload but now it tells me there is no associated media on my cell. The pics are still there unaltered.
Any help how i can resolve this? If i upload them one at a time manually it will take a long time and they wont be plotted on my route track. If i upload from the cell it does that automatic location tagging.
Further, I have succsefully used this service/application before.
     Any help?

Just check whether GPS data catches GPS signal or not. Menu>tools>connectivity>GPS data. Now move on to free open space (Outdoor or at the terrace). You could find some sattelite now.

  • How can I share the work iTunes with my home iTunes so I can work from home? Need to be able to share playlists and files for editing tracks.

I've just started working for a media company that provides the music for sporting events. They use iTunes to create playlists that I have to load into an IR machine with hot keys. I also have to edit tracks to create new stings and intros. As there is a 2.5 hour commute, I want to access the work iTunes library from my home MBP so I can work from home. When I'm at work I can share the work iTunes library, but when I'm back home I can't use it. Any ideas of how I could effectively Home Share over the internet with two seperate iTunes accounts?
The work iMac is running 10.7.5 and my MBP is 10.8.4

In that case, does anybody know of a program or workaround that will make this so?

  • N73 Sports Tracker Still Does Not Work PLEASE FIX

I see people complained about this before /t5/Nseries-Devices-and-S60/Nokia-Sports-Tracker-Won-t-Start-N73/m-p/336675 That was in 2009 with older versions of Sports Tracker. Yesterday i installed the latest firmware from the Nokia website for the N73 on my phone and i just installed Sports Tracker 2.06 on the phone but it does NOT start. Same issue as the other people had in 2009. Is this a new problem now or did Nokia did not learn from its mistakes / failures?! Info of my N73: Firmware version: 4.0839.42.2.1 Sports Tracker version: 2.06 Sports Tracker is installed on phone memory (not sd card) No other extra software is running that could give issues with Sports Tracker (clean installed phone). I really hope to see this problem being fixed as soon as possible. I run 4x a week and my N73 is always with me with Sports Tracker. If it is not possible to fix it i should have to buy a new phone. And that would be a HTC instead.

As per usual jjegan's post was confusing, but the link provided did explain it if you followed the link to the AAS article.
Sportstracker was a nokia beta product but nokia have now ceased development of this experimental service. They are leaving the old site in place for the foreseeable future to support older devices but no further improvements or fixes will be made.
With it being clearly labelled a beta nokia are under no obligation to fix or support this free service any longer.
Another company has now picked up the rights to use and develop the application further but it is unclear if they will be supporting models as old as the N73.
Details of the new company are here:

  • Sports Tracker Problem

    Hi
I started to use Sports Tracker few days ago in my 5800 XM and found few mistakes in phone application. The training diarys calendar is some how misplaced. The week numbers and weekdays are up in the screen, but the main calendar are down in the screen. Don't know why? Maybe the software are not yet fully working with 5800XM. Second thing is that the nordic alphabets (A with two dots) is shown as square box. The O with two dots is sown correctly and if you write these alphabets to any field in the application they are shown correctly. Weird???
The biggest thing is with the Sports Tracker web community. When I try to import a GPX file to my account, the route is missing?? Everything else is imported to the workout but the route is missing from the map. When I import the file to Google Eart the route is shown. The workout is exported from Sporty Pal and there is the route show correctly. Any ideas why it is not shown in Sports Tracker???

  • Sports Tracker .kml File and Windows Vista

Hi I have used Sports Tracker (ST) to make a .kml file, I tried to export the file by connecting the N95 to my pc via the USB cable, once the connection was established I tried to browse to the file on the memory card of my device (N95) and draged the file to my desktop, but the file that was crated on my desktop was not a .kml file but a strange kind of folder .tmp? Does anyone know how to get the files of the N95 via usb?
I mailed the file to my email and got like this, but I would really prefer to "drag and drop" the file to my desktop.
Thank you very much for your help,

  • Sports Tracker and Angry Birds?

Does Sports Tracker and Angry Birds work on the E6? I cant find them in the OviStore. And I can not see the album art cover in musicplayer? Do u think it will work or do I have to wait for the big update?
    Rogmansfones

    1. I am not sure about the Angry birds since there may be resolution issues, but I think sports tracker should be available.
    2. Regarding album art, what was your old phone? You see for Symbian, album art should be embedded within the mp3 file so the transfer from PC to phone is seamless, or else you need to use the phone to reassociate album art.
