Maps in Ipad mini wifi version
Does Ipad mini have Maps or not?......Expecting a Quick reply...its emergency!!!!
It has the built-in Maps app, and there are third-party map apps in the store e.g. Nokia Here Maps app.
If you are wanting to use the iPad as a GPS then wifi-only iPads don't have a built-in GPS chip, only the 3G/4G versions do

GPS signals are separate from and completely unrelated to both the Internet and the cellular telephone network. GPS signals come directly from the GPS satellites. They provide signals that allow GPS receivers to calculate latitude and longitude information. Navigation software then takes that latitude/longitude info and converts it to land mass, roads, bridges, highways, buildings, etc.
Most navigation software stores the maps right in the iPad/iPod/iPhone but a disadvantage is that the maps must be periodically updated (perhaps once every two years). The Internet is not required to use the system but it is required to update the maps.
Some navigation software gets the maps from the Internet and requires an Internet connection to function but an advantage is that the maps are always up-to-date.
The WiFi+3G/4G iPad and the iPhone both have a GPS receiver. The WiFi-only iPad and the iPod do not and these devices require an accessory. -
I'm thinking of buying a ipad mini wifi only. can I use it outdoors using mapping apps with GPS ? Does the ipad mini wifi only support GPS ?

Reset the iPad and try again. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Reset your router and try again. Unplug your router from power for about 30 seconds then plug it in again.
Try another WiFi Network. Go to a friend's house, a library, anywhere else that you can use a trusted WiFi network.
Try updating using iTunes on your computer. -

i need help with how to downgrade my ipad mini (wifi) ios 6.0.2 back to 6.0.1... i have watched so many videos on how to do this and downloaded alot of firmwares for this and used those with itunes and redsnow and i still cant figure out how to downgrade. i need some help.....

I'm sorry, but Apple does not provide a downgrade path for iOS. Because downgrading is unsupported by Apple we cannot discuss it on these forums, but you can use Google to find information on how to install an older version of iOS on any iDevice.

I have an IPad mini WiFi (not cellular) and an IPhone 5. I use the bluetooth connection between both devices when on the road. I downloaded a navigation system on my IPad using GPS positioning. Is the Bluetooth connection working to use GPS positioning on the IPad using IPhone 5 as the hotspot?

A day before got new IPAD mini (Wifi-Cellular). When trying to look forpasscode enable option, it ended with nothing to avail. Would like to know if there is any such priviledge or not. Secondly, when the iPad is left idle for awhile ,say, 5 minutes,, a poor screensaver pops up and continues to play IPad advertisement, which we usually find in DEMO products @stores. Doubtful, if seller has handed over bad/demo stuff to me. Please suggest. It took whole of last night to figure out on Google, but no success.

You can configure a passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using Settings > General > Passcode Lock.

If you are unable to modify certain passcode settings, there may be a configuration profile that requires these passcode options.

IPad mini Wifi 64GB Black Crashes frequently
I have an iPad mini Wifi 64GB Black, it frequently crashes when I'm using it, this can happen at anytime, for example, when reading a book in iBooks, playing Chess, using safari etc.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, we're you able to resolve the issue somehow?

GunkerThe most likely reason for things to crash is lack of available memory. This is not your 64GB storage, it's the 512MB RAM that keeps things running. The easiest and quickest way to free up RAM is to terminate apps that you are not using at the moment.
Either double click the Home button or do a 5 finger swipe up to expose the running apps. Press and hold on one of them until they start to jiggle, then tap the red minus sign to close the app.
I tend to close anything I'm not using regularly, so usually just email, Safari and iBooks stays open. -

No iPads ( or iPhones for that matter ) come with a sim
in or out of the box
You have to buy a sim either on a PAYG or contract
Your iPad will not be locked to a carrier
and you can switch the sim as often as you like
I always turn off my idevices before changing the sim
this eliminates any potential conflicts

IPAD MINI cellular version cannot connect "China Telecom" EVDO network
I'm glad to recieve an IPAD MINI wifi+cellular(BCGA1455) from my GF as a gift, which she purchased from Hongkong and engraved my name.
But it's pity that when I put my "CHINA TELECOM EV-DO" sim card into IPAD MINI, it's failed to register. Then I put my "CHINA UNICOM" which is "WCDMA" sim card, it works properly, and it's OK with my another "CHINA MOBILE GSM" sim card
I checked from APPLE WEBSITE that the BCGA1455 IPAD MINI should support EV-DO network. Does any one have some clues? Many thanks.It means that the carrier's network may not work well, if at all, with your iPad. Cellular data networks must meet a certain set of specifications from Apple in order to be fully compatible with their devices.

After weeks of testing, i found the solution of my question. It´s quiet simply!!
1º iPhone (3G Internet acess) connected to Mac mini by USB or BlueTooth or WiFi.
2ª in Mac mini must be activated in "Preferencias", "Compartir", the option "Compartir Internet",
"Compartir Conexión desde": iPhone USB or Bluetooth PAN
"Con otros Ordenadores vía": Ethernet
3º Ethernet cable must be connected from Mac mini to Time Capsule !!
4º In Time Capsule "Internet": connect by: DHCP
"Network": bridged
Nothing more!!! Sooooo simply!!
After this, Windows XP SP3 connect without problem over TC´s WiFi or Ethernet to the Internet!
Also other Devices like IPad, or other iPhone, etc.
Of course it can be a created a WiFi connection (PPP) between the iPhone and the Mac
and it´s working to.
But ALWAYS, by changing the connection mode, must be changed the Thethering mode.
In- and Out-Going!

I bought new Ipad mini, wifi Cellular. And created Apple ID, its asking VISA card number to register payment method, I given my ICICI VISA card details but Its showing as, "Payment method declined". Anybody can help me?

User to user forum, we have no access to Apple stuff which would tell us why your card was declined.
