MapViewer Bean Feature Requests & Bug Tracking?

Hi-
I'm wondering where I should post feature req's and bugs for the MapViewer bean. Is there a place where these things are tracked?

Please post here. The dev team will collect and track them internally. Or if you are a customer you can always go to metalink.oracle.com and post over there. The product id for mapviewer is 1215.
thanks,
LJ

The Feature Request/Bug Report Form does not include a drop-down option for Creative Cloud.

    Hi Stephen,
We are collecting feature requests as idea threads here on the forums versus using that form. If you believe you have discovered a bug with Creative Cloud please post about it here on the forums.
    Thanks,

  • MapViewer Bean Feature Selection

I have written a java applet that uses the Mapviewer bean to set up and render a map based on Oracle spatial data. So far, so good. I have written tools to Zoom in, Zoom out, Pan etc etc. I now need to extend this as follows:
    1. Given the primary key of a feature (or set of features), I need the mapviewer to be able to highlight those features in the map (using some specified highlight color) and to zoom to the relevant extent.
    2. I need to be able to allow the user to select a rectangle on the map (using a rubberband tool that I already have in place) and have the mapviewer highlight all the features within the rectangle and also return the primary keys for all features found using a spatial query.
The java applet needs to be thin. It will be running on slow networks so it can't be downloading large amounts of data.
Having read the documentation, you need to set the themes to clickable before you can highlight them. This then means that the features are downloaded to the client - presumably ending up with large amounts of network traffic.
Is there any way we can achieve what we need as described above?

Please post here. The dev team will collect and track them internally. Or if you are a customer you can always go to metalink.oracle.com and post over there. The product id for mapviewer is 1215.
    thanks,

  • Feature Requests/Bug Reports for PlayBook OS 2.0

I'd like to report a few bugs/features that I think would really help make PlayBook better.
Although most are minor items there is a chance that some items would be better suited as private reports directly to RIM.  If there is an appropriate channel to do so, please advise.
For now, these 4 items are the main ones that come to mind.
1.) Screen settings: I would **really**, **really** like to have an option to go to standby after 30min, 1hour, 2hours, or better yet - **never** (especially when I'm plugged in to A/C power or docked.  There are several apps I enjoy using (e.g. Browser) that I read/watch... only to have the device try to auto-suspend when the 5min is up.
2.) If it is possible, it would be very nice if holding the volume up/down buttons actually continuously increased/decreased the volume vs. having to press the buttons multiple times
3.) When using the Browser, I often minimize/auto-hide the location bar to maximize my screen real-estate... however when swiping down to view it... if I type a partial address and notice a match in the drop down for the site I want... I can't click on it, as this triggers the menu's auto-hide action
4.) The new Messages app is great!  My only issue is that although I like the blinking red LED indicator (similar to a BB phone), the red corner marker in the top left of the screen is too distracting (and ruins the asthetics) of the apps/games I'm running when I get new messages all day long.  It would be very nice if there was a separate option for this indicator. (e.g. I still want the LED light, and the email count/icon indicator... just not the red corner overlay)
Otherwise I'm loving my PlayBook both as a user and a developer and I'm looking forward to whats to come. ;-)

BlackBerry SmartPhone Apps: 5 Marbles Soon: **** (D.Z.A), ****Quest, **** Challenge, VaultCracker, DevBrowser, Radial****

Allow me to use the native contact, calendar and email apps to work with my contacts, calendar and email that are on my phone/desktop. Can't believe that this is not already done.

  • Feature Request / Bug Report: GMail Plugin

I have now migrated all mail over to GMail and have moved from having only one address on my BlackBerry to having all on there as I am out of the office more. I have now found out how much I hate the GMail plugin!
    1. I want to be able to disable conversation view. This is just annoying and I want to just see a list of messages. I have already disabled this in GMail.
    2. I don't want to see sent messages in my inbox after I reply or send a new email. If I enable delete from handset and server, when I delete these, it moves my sent items into the bin?!?
    3. I should have the ability to set which "folder" (label on GMail) email gets moved into when I delete it. Reason being, I have created a folder I use as a bin as GMail deletes your binned emails after 1 month...

For the Photoshop Family of products you should use  Photoshop Family Customer Community
Adobe site does not include that link in many of their pages that it should be link you posted I have seen it in there at time but in the bottom links. Adobe seems to change the links in the section and seem to leave out Photoshop Family Customer Community  often.

  • FAQ: How do I submit a bug report or feature request or otherwise give feedback about Premiere Pro?

The best way to submit a bug report or feature request is to use the bug-report/feature-request form.
The Premiere Pro team doesn’t  necessarily see and record every post on every forum and social network, but we do see, record, and track every entry  through the the official feature-request/bug-report form.
It also helps a lot if you opt into the Product Improvement Program.
Also, be sure to use the crash reporter.
We really do read all of the bug reports and feature  requests, and the software really does get a lot of benefit from  detailed crash reports.
Don’t forget about contacting Adobe Technical Support or Customer  Service, too. For information on how to contact Adobe Technical Support,  see this page. (Note that you must register your product before you can open a technical support case for it.)
If you have tried to get help from our support staff, but the service  was inadequate, I can help you to escalate your issue if you send me  your case number at kopriva at adobe dot com. You must provide me  a case number. I am not offering to solve your problem myself; rather, I  am willing to forward your information to someone if you have already  hit a dead end with our Technical Support or Customer Service.
If you have feedback about the content of the Premiere Pro Help document,  then please add a comment at the bottom of the relevant page. You can  add comments to add information, to add links, to make corrections, or  to ask for clarification.
If you want to keep up with the Premiere Pro team, then you can follow our blogs, Facebook page, and Twitter feed and so on.
Oh, and I can’t resist this opportunity to remind you to update to  the most recent version of the application. Don’t be surprised when the  first thing that you hear back from us is that you need to install the  latest updates. We fix a lot of things in updates, and we don’t want to go chasing bugs that we’ve already fixed. We’ll keep you posted on our blogs, Facebook page, and Twitter feed about updates as they become available.

    Hi qwerty,
Dun tink that creative customer support sucks cos I had been dealing with them in the past and I can say that their service are quite gd and fast. If you wanted a refund, I tink you need to contact the store that sells you the product. Dun tink creative will refund you though.

  • Feature Request: Please allow us to merge audio with image sequence in AME.

So far the only programs that allow this (that I'm aware of anyway) are the old version of QuickTime Pro, and Apple's Compressor. I simply want to add an image sequence to AME, and combine an audio track to that image sequence for export. This would save me an extra step. 80% of my work begins and ends in After Effects. I do very little video editing, so most of my exports are rendered from AE and then exported from Quicktime or Compressor to whatever file my clients request (Most often ProRes for a master version, and h264 or x264 Quicktime files for the web).
Is it possible we might see this feature added anytime soon? Thanks!

This is a good feature request and should be submitted here: Adobe - Feature Request/Bug Report Form
The team reviews all the requests that come in through that form. It is a guaranteed way to get your request seen while we do not always see everything that gets posted to the forums.

  • Feature Request - Please allow for a "classic" view option.

Please allow for a "classic" view option like you have in Mail.  Miss the sidebar that had a list of all the calendars using.  The pop up list is not nearly as functional.  iCal in Lion may be great for touch screen users but is a step back on the intuitive scale for Mac users.
Also, the delete / revert button are too close to the done button.  Too easy to hit on accident.

  • Feature Request.  Please, please, please make file name a sort option.

I find it a glaring omission that one cannot sort by file name in
    PE or Organizer.

We're pretty much just users here. You should post your request using Adobe - Feature Request/Bug Report Form.

  • Feature Request: AME Watch Folders file type filter

    Hi,
maybe I'm posting it to the wrong forum. If so, maybe some moderator can move this thread to the correct forum.
I'm exporting Quicktime Reference files from Avid, which creates two files: .mov and. wav. Since I'm exporting it to Watch Folder AME automatically converts the wav also. But would be useful to "tell" AME only convert files with mov extension. It's of course possible later to erase encoded sound files but would be convinient to point out only the file types which require converting.
    thank you,

  • Feature Request: Disable Checkbox for Palette Fade in CS3

    Dear Adobe Team,
please be so kind and give us a switch to disable the - Palette Fade Feature - of the CS3 Applications.
It just distracts (some of us) from work. - Fast Copy/Paste actions are a bit harder this way, even though it's fast on new machines. (Which is obvious because
Even though some of us bought new fast computers to have programmes INSTANTLY available.
I'm looking so much forward to your response
    Florian Schommertz
Dear Forum - please make this a petition to have this checkbox available, and DO NOT start another, RAM/G4/G5 discussion about the speed of the palette fading.
Just, sign with your Name, and/or, Account ID here and help us all get rid of the GUI-Desaster.
    Thanx!

This is not the feature request forum nor the feature request form. If you really want to make this a feature request do a search for feature request and submit an actual feature request/bug report form to Adobe. All you are doing here is feature requesting to other users that can do nothing about the issue.

  • Init scripts feature request

    Hello,
I see that 'depmod -a' operation runs on every system boot. I think that it's not very necessary and if it will be an option in rc.conf to disable this operation it will be realy cool.
Also, i see now that netcfg doesn't support a feature to activate last used profile.  And it will be great if it can be used as an option to NET_PROFILES variable in rc.conf like menu.
I can write shell code for both features myself and provide it to a package maintainer.
    Thanks.

right, but it's not very comfort to delete it on every upgrade. I'm using testing and it's a little annoying.

  • Creative Cloud Feature Request

There is no option for selecting "Creative Cloud" in the Adobe feature request/bug report form, so I'll post my request here. When syncing files to Creative Cloud, I would like to have some kind of progress indicator, with an estimate of when the syncing will be complete. It is rather disconcerting to be syncing large files to the cloud, and not knowing how progress is going.  Currently, the app just reports "syncing" with a spinning wheel. That is not enough information. Other cloud file services have this feature, so it shouldn't be a big deal for Adobe to add it.

    Hi,
Thank you for your email. We already have a a progress indication build right into Creative Cloud. This will give you a time left until syncing is completed.
    Thanks
    Warner

  • Official feature request go where?

Ok... Since the new forum came about I haven't had too many ideas for new features and the ones I've had weren't that complicated... But now I've got a good one and I was wondering if there was still an official place to submit feature requests for Audition?  I don't see a link anywhere so is this it now? Do we have to make it public?

    Hello Ron.
I've kept a bookmark in my browser because of this very difficulty of finding the Feature Request/Bug Report Form.
    This works for me:

  • Bug / Feature request tracker for ROME.

    Hi,
Wouldn't it be nice if we have a dedicated site for viewing/tracking Bug and Feature requests?. I hope it will surely help us to remember our past requests and the status of the same.
    Thanks,
    David R

    Hello,
Great suggestion! As the project moves on it might happen that other ways of gathering feedback and requests might be introduced.
    Thanks for your idea!
