Mapviewer Plugin for Jdev 10.1.3  ?

The last plugin for JDev of mapviewer is for release 10.1.2 - is there a 10.1.3 release? The 10.1.2 causes lots of problems for JDev 10.1.3 ....

Hi,
Download jdev 10.1.3.2.0, the portlet PDK is integrated now

  • ADE Plugin for JDev launched from a view

    Hi,
    I want to install the ADE versioning system plugin in my JDev which I launch from my view. Earlier, I used to get the plugin from "Check for Updates" item under "Help" menu . But I am not able to search for this plugin in my recent Jdevs. Can anyone point me to a location from where I can download and install this ADE plugin in my JDev?
    Thanks

  • Template Maker plugin for JDev 10.1.2

    Hi there!
    Is there any place for downloading the 10.1.2 version of Template Maker? I took a look at both JDeveloper site and forum but did not find any link.

    The version for 9.0.5 would probably work with 10.1.2:

  • How can you create a plugin for jdev?

    Any pointers to detailed instructions appreciated... I searched OTN and couldnt find anything
    Thanks!

    If you use the 11g preview release, there is also functionality built into the product by default that will help you to build extensions (although I still recommend downloading the ESDK, since it contains the javadoc and a large number of samples).
    In 11g, you can access the new functionality using File->New->Projects->Extension Project.

  • ER: HTML Applet tag syntax warning - or HTML syntax checker for JDEV.

    Hi,
    I just spent ages (an hour or two) debugging an applet and it turned out that I had left a comma "," out of my 'archive=..' parameter of the 'applet' tag in the HTML :-(.
    E.g. I had <applet code="x" archive="a.jar b.jar, c.jar, d.jar"> and IE simply didn't load 'b.jar' so I got the usual 'class not found' exception. After signing every jar and putting every jar in every directory I finally noticed the commas between some of the jars.
    I can understand IE not helping me load an Applet since, from MS's point of view, that is evil Java code, but JDev must know the syntax of a HTML applet tag too so it could highlight the error for me.
    Alternatively does anyone know of a HTML checker plugin for JDEV?
    Regards,
    Simon.

    No comments?
    I've been looking around for a HTML syntax checker and there are plenty around - just google "html validation". None so far have picked up the missing comma in my busted applet tag. I guess with a missing comma it just looks like a file name with a space in it anyway.
    I still think JDeveloper could flag semantic errors like this at development time.
    Cheers,
    Simon.

    Hi,
    while reading docs about new features in jde tool 8.97, I've found that there is plugin in jdev for creating business services for jde, but no refs on itself. where I can get. No, I've not found it on peolpesoft.com

    The following site on Customer Connect is a good place to find out more information in regards to SOA, and Business Services for JD Edwards.

    There are links to general documentation and also recorded TOI's that are accessable - both functional and in depth technical details.

    Sure there is.
    There is an Extension API that you can use.
    Go to "check for updates" and download the ESDK extension - you'll get documentation and a bunch of samples.

  • BPEL Plugin for JDeveloper?

    Hello all.

    So I downloaded the Jdeveloper but it is not possible to create a BPEL process!
    Is there anywhere a plugin for the JDeveloper to use BPEL or did I missunderstand something?
    What should I have to do?
    It would be nice if someone could help me.
    Thx a lot

  • Developing SCM Plugin for JDev9i... Deadlock

    Hi!
    I'm currentlly developing a SCM plugin for JDev9i with the option to use MS Visual Source Safe. I've experienced problems with hanging for a while. I'm using the oracle.ide.scm packages bundled with JDev, and I think I've found where the hangup is caused.
    There's a class called oracle.ide.scm.util.SCMProcess which is a process wrapper around another class called oracle.ide.scm.util.SCMShellRunner. The process will recieve output text from standard out and standard error. These outputs must be caught and displayed as they are given to the system. If they are not displayed, JDev will go into deadlock it seams.
    These classes have their equals respectivelly in java.lang.Process and java.lang.Runtime. I've used these classes to run a command from disk and they work if you properlly handle the output. The problem with this way of doing things is that these classes does not report back to the scm systems and can cause unexpected results from the other interfaces and classes in the oracle.ide.scm...
    Does anybody have any experience in coding plugins of this kind? Have you experienced the same problem and have you found a way around it?
    This does not work as it should:
    SCMShellRunner rt = SCMShellRunner.getInstance();
    SCMProcess p = rt.run(cmd, envArr);
    while(!p.isFinished()) {
    System.err.println(p.getErrorText());
    System.out.println(p.getOutputText());

    Hi.
    The SCMShellRunner and SCMProcess classes are utilities which you
    may find useful in implementing your SCM support; you can still
    use java.lang.Runtime and java.lang.Process if you prefer.
    However, we strongly recommend that you use SCMShellRunner because:
    - On windows systems, the external process is launched in the
    context of a shell.
    - The output and error streams of the external process are
    monitored separate threads to prevent blocking issues because of
    buffer overruns.
    - A native workaround is used to prevent console windows popping
    up every time external processes are launched under Windows.
    Not sure what could be causing the deadlock, but I did notice in
    your code snippet that you are attempting to print output from the
    process before it is finished.
    The 'error text' and 'output text' will become available only
    when the process has successfully terminated, so I guess you're
    seeing an awful lot of "null" in your debug window.
    Also, I would suggest using SCMProcess.waitFor() to block until
    the process has completed; it will not be so greedy with CPU.
    Try something like the following:
    SCMShellRunner rt = SCMShellRunner.getInstance();
    SCMProcess p = rt.run(cmd, envArr);
    p.waitFor();
    if (p.getExitCode().intValue() != 0)
    // throw SCM exception.
    System.err.println(p.getErrorText()); // should be non-null
    System.out.println(p.getOutputText()); // should be non-null
    Thanks,
    Paul. JDev SCM

  • BPEL plugin for Eclipse does not deploy ?

    As far as I heard there is a BPEL plugin for Eclipse.
    Is this correct ? Where do I get this plugin?
    Is this true that I can develop but not deploy code

    So what is correct here. All of the tutorials and quick guides are all using Eclipse. I am trying to test 10.1.3 SOA version as I am currently on 10.1.2.0 w/ JDev being my designer.
    J-Dev BPEL plugin changed quite a bit, so I wanted to RTFM but they are all in Eclipse.

  • Fedora 13: After upgrading from FF3.6 to FF6.0.2 I no longer have a Java plugin. How do I configure the Java Plugin for FF 6 ? There is no Java Plugin at the site

    I am Fedora 13x64 bit. I just installed FF v6.0.2 from the FF download site. I backed up the existing FF 3.6 as firefox_old
    I need to have a Java plugin to access company site, how do I configure the Java Plugin ?
    At the Plugin area in FF6 there is no Java Plugin available, even after a search.
    I have Java 1.6.0 installed in the OS at:
    /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0/jre/lib/amd64/libnpjp2.so
    I googled how to configure Java Plugin for FF 6 for Fedora 13 and the trick was to create a soft link from /home/<userID>/.mozilla/plugins to the above libnpjp2.so

  • Setting up the Apache HTTP Plugin for several BEA Servers

    Hey together,
    i would like to setup the apache http plugin for several bea-servers.
    I am running apache 1.x on my hp-ux system. There are 2 bea-server-domains on this box and both should be proxied by the plugin simultaneously.
    As far as i know it isn't possible to run 2 or more instances of the apache webserver. I heard of virtualhosts, maybe i should try this one out.
    Somebody knows how to deal with this problem or does any1 know if virtualhosts could cope with my needs?
    Thanks in advance

    Ok here i am again and i'm stuck. Here my wishes again:
    there are 2 weblogic-instances (domains) running on a machine xxx, instance A listening on port 8041, instance B listening on port 8051. I want to configure apache virtualhosts in combination with weblogic plugins, so that request with /ld will be sent to instance A while requests with /ldd will be sent to instance B. Both are no clusters. Therefore i tried it with the following configuration (httpd.conf):
    <VirtualHost xxx:8080>
         DocumentRoot "/opt/hpws/apache/htdocs"
         ServerName xxx:8080
         <IfModule mod_weblogic.c>
         WebLogicHost xxx
         WebLogicPort 8041
         #MatchExpression *
         #PathPrepend=/test2
         </IfModule>
         <Location /ld>
         SetHandler weblogic-handler
         PathTrim /ld
         </Location>
    </VirtualHost>
    # VirtualHost2 = xxx:8090
    <VirtualHost xxx:8090>
         DocumentRoot "/opt/hpws/apache/htdocs"
         ServerName xxx:8090
         <IfModule mod_weblogic.c>
         WebLogicHost xxx
         WebLogicPort 8051
         #MatchExpression *
         #PathPrepend=/test2
         </IfModule>
         <Location /ldd>
         SetHandler weblogic-handler
         PathTrim /ldd
         </Location>
    Doesnt really work. Can some1 help please?

  • Can I do this with a plugin for Reader?

    Hello, I'm totally new to Adobe Reader development and I'm in the need to develop a plugin for Reader that must implement certain functionality. Before starting, I think it's better to ask to the experts if what I want to do is possible or if what I need goes beyond what the Adobe API provides. So, if you're so kind, I'd like you to check the list of needed features and please tell me if they can be fulfilled with a Reader Plugin.
    The plugin must work for Adobe Reader 7,8,9 and 10. It's not a problem if I need to develop a plugin for each version.
    When the user tries to print a document, I will block/cancel the printing process depending on which document is tried to be printed (the full path to the document will be needed).
    I need traceability in "Save as" and "Save as text" features, if the user saves a copy of "c:\file.pdf" into "c:\file - copy.pdf" I need to know both the source and the destiny of the save as operation. Same for any kind of "export to format x" operations if possible.
    I need to be able to communicate with another module via named pipe to periodically send information. This might require dinamically loading a DLL and calling its methods.
    [Optional] I need to restrict the use of the clipboard depending on the documents opened in Reader, i.e. don't allow to copy if a certain document is opened.
    [Optional] If a document is exported via file printer (like Microsoft xps printer), I need traceability on this operation. I'm really pesimistic about this one.
    Also, I'm assuming that retrieving the list of opened documents, or the "active" document will be possible at any time. Please, correct me if wrong.
    Thank you very much for your time, for reading and helping. Im' not asking you to tell me how to implement every single feature, I just need to know if I will be able to implement them when I get some knowledge.
    Have a great day. Greets.

    Two things.
    First – Adobe no longer supports Reader 7 or 8, so you would be on your own for those.
    Second, in order to develop a plugin for Reader you need to obtain a license from Adobe.  Details and forms are in the Acrobat SDK.   Start this process ASAP as that will tell you whether you will be able to do your plugin or not.
