Marker Issue

I saw that adobe is already fixing the moving documents issue...
But another thing that is quite boring in this new update is that every time that I mark a text, I need to press the button again to mark the next sentence or the next paragraph...
I prefer that the marker continues marking the text until I give the command to switch it.

Arrangement Marker Issue

When adding arrangement markers in Logic Pro X, the first two work fine, but the third keeps locating itself at the start of project. I don't see any reason for this. Suggestions welcome.

Crop mark issue when placing and PDF in Indesign

I've just had this strange issue that I can't figure out and I'm not sure if anyone else has had it as well.
I exported a PDF through InDesign with crop marks. I then placed the PDF in Indesign and for some reason the bleed and the crop marks don't
show up! I've never had this issue with Indesign before.
Is it even InDesign, or is it the PDF itself?

Select show options when placing and select the appropriate crop to choice.

Indesign to PDF trim mark issue

I have a business card file in InDesign and exported it to a PDF last week with trim marks for bleed with no issues. Now I export the same file with the same export settings and there is a white trim space.

If you hold down the SHIFT key when placing your PDF you will get different options.
In your top screenshot you had the BLEED option selected and it only shows the part of the crop marks that intrude into the bleed area.
In your bottom screenshot you have the import option set to something else like BOUNDING BOX or CROP.
This will show you the complete crop marks, not just the part that are in the bleed.
This setting is sticky and will remain the default until you change it.
The full crop marks are more useful when cutting than the way you normally have it, with just partial crop marks.
Depending on the vendor that is printing the business cards they may even not want crops at all, but they will definitely need the bleeds.

Help on saving back from CS4 to CS3 with the crop mark issue.

I am not asking how to create crop marks I needing to know how to save back from CS4 to has already has been created in 3. See issue below.
I am the only one with CS4 in this office. I have to save back to CS3 for everyone else to read. When looking in the artboard, I can see the un-editable crop marks that were made in CS3, but when I work on the file and save it down, they can no longer call up the crop marks. Any clue as to were they might access what should be there?

So long as I only work on new stuff, I guess it doesn't matter if I switch to CS3. :-) I'll turn down requests for major edits to long documents already done in CS4!
We have 2 feet of snow on the ground here and are expecting 10-20 more inches of snow starting around noon! DC is basically shut down. I live right in the middle of the District, and the roads are a mess here. I can't imagine how bad the suburbs are.

Clip Marker Issue

I have 3 clips in the timeline in premier on different channels. I want to sync them.
I think I have the markers set up correctly, but I'm not quite sure. When I try to sync, the sync by clip marker option is greyed out.
Could this be an issue with the way I'm marking my clips? Is there a difference between marking the timeline and marking a clip?

Scalable Image Marker Issue

I have a lot of equipment images (*PNG Format*) and using these images I created scalable marker styles and its marker size is in u.s foot. Then using these marker styles I created an advance style .Finally using this advance style I just created a theme (*Oriented geometry*) and it is showing properly in Mapbuilder. But in MapViewer , the tile is not rendering properly, scalable image marker behaves in different manner in same zoom level .Please help me
Another issue is related with labeling , In my theme I give labeling functionality with oriented scalable label style , just like above issue it is working in Mapbuilder smoothly but in MapViewer it does not render properly.

Yes I tested with vector marker style and i got same issue.In this case the marker style is getting cutted off in zoom level 14 .

Help with chapter/marker issue, please

Using DVDSPRO 2.0.5.
One track, 58 mins of movie.
Have set five chapter markers and buttons, plus one 'Play Whole Movie' button.
Playback via 'Play Whole Movie' button results in playback of Whole Movie track stopping at the end of each chapter and jumping back to Main Menu.
It did not do this playback jump-back on my set-top box, but it DID do it on a client's player. Oh dear.
What am I doing wrong? Why won't the Main Movie Track play straight through (i.e. ignore) each marker and continue to the absolute end, i.e. minute 58?
(End Jump of Whole Movie track is set to Main Menu.)
Can this only be avoided by using Stories, and telling the Main Track that it must play through without stopping at the Chapter Markers?
G4 Quicksilver 860 Mhz Mac OS X (10.3.9) FCP 4.5 HD

My own solution:
Create a second 'Whole Movie' track with the same Whole Movie asset. This Track is connected to the Play Whole Movie Button. The track has NO Chapter Markers. It of course jumps back to Main menu at its end,
The original 'Whole Movie' track with Chapter Markers is re-named to 'Story Track'. The Chapter Buttons are connected to this markers on track.
Might this fix the problem for EVERY SET-TOP BOX?

Jpeg Invalid Marker Issue

Hi
After copying all my data from one drive to another, many jpeg files won't open due to an "invalid marker" error. Those same jpegs open fine in Apple's built in Preview and they do all have tiny thumbnails. I am pretty sure the files aren't corrupted since they do open in another program, but I can't get Bridge or Photoshop to recognize/open them. I'm tearing my hair out here - please help!

I respect and appreciate Gene's response, but in my experience, a message about an invalid marker in a JPEG means your file is irretrievably lost. Wish you the best luck, of course.
Files can and do get corrupted in a variety of ways;
First and foremost, a hard drive going south.
Working (opening and/or saving) off a server across a network.
Program errors.
Setup inadequacies (not enough RAM or Scratch drive space)
or if PEBKAC
The most common causes are the first two.

LP9 Marker issue

In LP8 there was a limit to how close markers could be to each other. This sometimes caused me a problem working to picture.
Was hoping this would be fixed in LP9 but it's worse. At 120 bpm I can't seem to add a "marker without rounding" within a whole beat of the previous one. Surely I can get marks closer than this? Hope I'm doing something wrong!!!!
Also, the new manual, not working for me at all

It looks bad I'm afraid. I have a keyboard command assigned to "add marker without rounding". With the counter within a beat of the previous marker (at 120bpm) I hit the command and nothing happens except the menu with the Markers sub menu flashes briefly.

Water Marker Issue(urgent)

Hi,
I am using flex builder3.
I am getting watermarker in my chart. I tried to modify the license tag in flex-config.xml,but it says ERROR: UNKNOWN Environmental variable 'licenses.
Can anybody help me to get rid of this watermarkers.

Do you have Flex Builder 3 Pro? The standard version does not come with charts, at least not charts without the watermarks.
If you have just purchased FB 3 Pro after using the trial version, you might need to save all your projects, uninstall and then reinstall FB 3 Pro.

Is there any way to change the default double quotation in Dreamweaver CS4 to a single quotation? For example:

No there isn't. Dreamweaver always uses double quotes for attributes. If it's something that you would find useful to be able to change, submit a feature request through the official form at http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform.

Cisco ISE 1.2.1 deplyomet issue with Anyconnect and Profiling

We are running cisco ise box in 1.2.1 version wherein I am facing below issue while deployment. We are having two ISE boxes where One box act as Primary Admin,Secondary MNT and Policy Service and Second Box act as Secondary Admin,Primary MNT and Policy Service
1) Profiling of Endpoints - HP Laster jet printer 55XX series and scanner profiling are not happing in Cisco ISE 1.2.1 wherein I have enabled below probes in ISE for profiling
RADIUS Probe
SNMP Probe SNMP Trap HTTP Prob and DNS
2) Any-connect issue - We are using any-connect supplicant 3.0.11042 for wired and wireless user profile in windows 7 enterprises 32 bit machine
- Yellow mark issue -  Once authentication , posturing completed we are getting yellow mark on network drive but still we are able to connect to network
- Network Map Drive issue -  Once authentication , posturing completed we are getting red cross mark on Network map drive and if we double click on that drive then its get accessible and red mark turns in to green.
For that we have already allowed Ip level access to all domain in before logon dacl ( Machine authentication )
That would be really great if any one can help me on the same.

Yellow mark issue - - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NlaSvc\Parameters\Internet. This Service is by default disabled on Windows XP and Widows 8.X operating system. This is only enabled by default on Windows 7 and Windows Vista operating system.
Network Map Drive issue   - Create logon script and deploy it using group policy. Script will check full network connectivity and then map network drives

Macbook Pro - Folder w/Question Mark; Internet Recovery

Hello everyone,
I have a 13" Macbook Pro that I purchased (new) in February 2013.
Yesterday I was working on it with an external mouse plugged into one USB, a bicycle light charger plugged into the other USB, and an external monitor connected in that port with the Apple connector, plus the power cord was plugged in. I had Word documents open, an Excel doc as well, plus iTunes running, and I had Chrome open as my browser. I had to quickly leave so unplugged all of them quickly, then closed the cover.
A few hours later when I opened the computer I had no cursor. I gave it a few minutes to "wake up" but nothing happened. I then turned the computer off with the power button. When it came back on I had a folder with a question mark and it was blinking.
In looking through the discussion forums, I tried holding down the Control button. This too me to Internet Recovery. Now I'm at the OS X Utilities and it has four options: Restore from Time Machine, Reinstall OS X, Get Help Online, or Disk Utility.
I back up the computer frequently with T.M. to an external HD, but I'd rather not erase the HD and start over.
I have seen some suggest resetting the PRAM when this issue occurs. As the computer was not dropped, I hope it was more of an overload issue when I unplugged so many things at once and shut it down.
I am definitely not a skilled computer fixer, so wanted to see if anyone with more knowledge could offer the best steps to take.

The folder with question mark means your firmware doesn't know what or where is your volume it's supposed to boot from normally.
1: Shutdown the machine by pressing and holding the power button.
2: Press and hold the option/alt key down. Boot the machine.
3: Startup Manager appears and hopefully your boot drive (along with RecoveryHD) appears, select your boot drive and click the arrow.
4: In System Preferences, set your statup disk again. Done.
Folder with question mark issue
If this fails to work, then do reset the NVRAM and try the steps above again.
If your boot volume fails to appear, then your OS X is corrupt and is not recognized as a bootable option, but it can be fixed.

The worst thing is your boot drive is dead, lets hope you have backups of your data off the machine.

Saving as PDF with crop marks.

I'm trying to create a Printready PDF from my Structured FM file. I recently upgraded to FM9.
With earlier versions of FM we've had issues with colours not exporting correctly from FM, and I've had to print .ps files, run a colour correction script and then open the files as .pdf. Due to a limitation of my colour correction script I could only print 5-10pgs at a time. Which made the process very time consuming.
I pitched the upgrade to FM9 to my boss because when I initially tested the trial version and used the 'save as PDF' function, the colours came up correct without having to use the colour correction script.
HOWEVER, now that I'm trying to create printready PDF's of my document, via the save as PDF function, I'm not getting crop marks/registration marks on my files.
On the PDF Setup Dialog box I have 'Western' choosen under Registration Marks. (Screen Shot attached)
Initally I thought it could be because I had the page size set to the exact page size I wanted, but I've tried making the page size bigger and they still don't seem to appear.
Hopefully this is an easy question and I've just missed something simple!

Caveat CMYK!
Unfortunately, it's still not completely reliable. There are issues with quite a number of OTF Pro fonts not rendering correctly, and with spot colour tints and table fills that use spot colours.
The upgrade to from COlourChameleon to PubliPDF may be still worth considering...
Also, with your crop mark issue, how big is the page size compared to the output size that you specifed in the PDF Setup? You have to add at least 1cm to the page size to give it room to place the crop marks.
