Market Salary Survey - Generating Composite Results

Is it possible to generate composite results by location? What other aspects can be used to generate composite results? Thanks!

Hi there, did you ever get an answer to this question - as I have the exact same question also. We are implementing ECM in the US and they have survey data for several different regions - SAP allows you to import the survey data by region but we want to be able to map each employee to the job code and region - we have a scenario where we have one job code which could be in many regions.
We are looking at creating a pay grade structure to deal with this but I was hoping that the composite results could be used to store more than one location
if you managed to find out a solution, please let me know

Hi Hetal,
In ECM, you need only the Composite Survey Results (1271) infotype. The Survey Results (1051) infotype is for CM.
Coming to IT1271, this infotype will be automatically maintained for jobs if you are using the Job Pricing BSP. It is too elaborate to write everything down here. Please go through this link:

Am I the only one who doesn't see any figures (tried in FF & IE). Selecting from the LOV makes the page load but selecting an option e.g. regional salary / experience doesn't show anything.

Thanks to everyone who participated in our salary survey. We are busy working to compile, summarize and publish the results. The information will be available through the Oracle certification website and I’ll let you know through the Oracle Certification Blog when it is ready.
In the meantime however, I'd like to share some pre-release details that are interesting:

<li>Certified professionals earn over 13% more than non-certified counterparts.</li>
<li>Years of experience in a role makes a big difference in overall compensation.</li>
<li>Pay between various job roles (architect, developer, administrator) can be markedly different.</li>
<li>Professionals who have earned more than one Oracle certification earn more than those hold one, and typically - the more certifications that you hold, the more likely you are to earn more.</li>
</ol>
I’ll discuss specific results in more detail when the salary survey results become available, and give my perspective on what it means to certification-holders and those considering certification.

Salary Survey

Has anybody out there conducted a salary survey on Forte developers?
If so, would you be willing to share the results with me? If not, any

Job Pricing/Salary Survey Flow in ECM

Can someone describe in a technical manner the way in which salary survey information is exchanged between SAP and the provider? How is job pricing activities completed via the portal? How does it update the tables? And what is the configuration either in the backend or in portals that needs to be done?

Please refer to helpline provided in help.sap.com and refer to transaction PECM_START_JPR_BSP for documentation on how to do job pricing via portal. There is not much documentation available though on the same, but you may get back to me if you need help in completing cycle.

Any opinions on loading Salary Survey/Market data to Oracle HR?

Our choice is to look up each job individually on Salary.com and enter it manually or pull the data from The National Compensation Survey<http://www.bls.gov/ncs/data.htm> and loading it through the API.
Any thoughts? If I don't want to buy any of the fancy analytics from salary.com and I have Oracle HR and OBI to produce my own reports, can I rely on the Government data?

As my understanding there is not seeded solution exist for this.
Ya you can create Custom interface and reports for this requirement .
Recommended Two Approach.

1.
you can check with National Compensation Survey<http://www.bls.gov/ncs/data.htm> or salary.com whether they provide any input data for outside application.
If Yes you can design interface to read these files and then make custom reports/pages on them.
2. If no , you have to manually create these flat file/Excel to provide data to interface.

Marketing - Activity - Survey - Automation

Hi, in an usual scenario, an automation decision node is based on email survey link response.
But how can I implement this scenario?:
Campaign execution generates a mail and an activity ("call customer to ask for response"), 'employee responsible' receives and open activity. He founds the survey ("¿Are you interested on...?") defined (as Survey ID on campaign (tab channel)). Customer asks "Yes, I'm interested..". Decision node on campaign automation is triggered and a mail is sent to customer "as you tell us by phone, we send you...".

I know there is two "standard" ways to do what I'm looking for. Send a Mail with a survey link or generate a call list.
What we need here is someting more simple. We don't want to use call list functionality (can we use these transactions in mobile sales scenario?) and we know that user will not answer to a survey from a mail.
So we are trying to generate a 'sales agent' activity "call customer to ask for..".
There is no problem with activity generation, but we need to use something like what is done on "CRM_MKTCA_SVY_PAI" BAdI: link activity with marketing-survey, register BP answers and when 'sales agent' saves activity with 'completed' status activate next automations steps. Our first research was two find if something is done for this workflow, and that's the reason of my message post. If not, ¿how is the best way of doing it?

Invalid tag generated in result XML file, xslt mapping done using MAPFORCE

My requirement is File to File using xslt mapping
I have done a very simple XSLT mapping, but through MAPFORCE tool
Here are the steps, I followed:
1. Supplied source xsd and xml file to MAPFORCE
2. Supplied target xsd file
3. mapped it as required
4. tested by supplying a sample xml file by clicking OUTPUT button, which displays perfect XML structure
5. Clicked XSLT button and copied and created a new file with extension .xsl file
6. Zipped the above xsl file
7. imported into IR imported archives folder
8. Selected the above xslt mapping in my Interface mapping.
9. Now tested my Interface Mapping by supplying sample some data for the source structure.
Now I got the error or warning "XML not well-formed" and got the successfull completion message window for my mapping when I proceed.
Now when I clicked xml source button for the target structure, It displays the invalid tag and starting with "#default"
So If I removed this particular tag at the first and last lines, it becomes a valid xml structure and able to see properly in my internet explorer
Here is the result I am getting:

For some reason when I use MapForce tool to generate my xslt mapping source, it is generating the following statement in the xsl file.
 <xsl:namespace-alias stylesheet-prefix="n" result-prefix="#default"/>
So at the root element of XML file, it is replacing the character n with '#default' for some reason, I don;t know the purpose of this.
As you suggested, I changed the name space, still I experienced same problem.
It is now resolved after removing the above xsl statement from the xsl file before creating/uploading the relevant zip file into archives folder.
It works fine now. Thanks for the clue.

Survey - Generate URL button is grayed out

I have created survey in UI but when I click on Generate URL and enter Get file/send file, I get Generate URL button grayed out.
