Marketing attribute tab is missing

Hi All,
We are working on CRM 4.0.
we have transferred the BP data from X server to Y server .
But when we check BP in Y server I found that  Marketing attributes tab page is missing.
Can any one suggest me in this regard? Any help will be greatly helpful and highly rewarded.

DV,
1. Please check that the Marketing Attributes Screen is registered properly under the various BDT settings: Transcations BUS5 for the screen (CRM005 I believe) and BUS6 for the screen sequence.  You may want to try regenerating the screens and objects, otherwise also have a look at transaction BUCO.
2. Check that the screen tabs for the General Data under the business partner are being painted properly in the correct sequence.
3. Try and verify that the authorizations for the marketing tabs are available to the user.  See note 614514.
Let us know how it goes, and please elaborate on System X and Y as well as the SP level.

    I am facing the same issue. .
    Regarding authorization, I have got myself SAP_ALL in the dev system and still do not have the Extended Attributes tab.
    Thanks for the link to the post  too. As mentioned in the post, the address tab is controlled by IT1028. Can someone please let me know what Infotype and parameters control the Extended Attributes tab?

  • Error in Marketing Attribute Update

    HI All,
    I need to update the Marketing attribute of the BP. For this i tried using below mentioned FM
    1. CRM_MKTBP_ASSIGN_ATTRIBUT
    2. CRM_MKTBP_CHANGE_BP
    Now i am facing a strange issue here. My code is able to update BP half of the time and half of the time Not at all.
    Doesn't return any error OR warning, but not working.
    Is there any thing else which i can try Or any limitation on Marketing attribute, I simply have no idea how to resolve this.
    Any help is deeply appreciated.

    I tried your approach, but still not able to resolve it.
    I am not getting any error in the return table. It shows success. But when i go to BP transaction and then to Marketing attribute tab, i don't see any Attribute Set assigned to BP.
    When i go to Edit Mode and manually assign attribute set, It shows me the values passed by me, but even there also if i save BP, Attribute set is not getting saved.
    I am thinking it might be a bug, did any body else has faced similar problem with Marketing attributes?
    If yes, what is the Solution for this and did you raised any OSS?
    FYI, We are working on CRM 7 Ehp1.
    I am able to find One Error. When my program is calling FM CRM_MKTBP_ASSIGN_ATTRIBUT_TAB. It is raising an exception.
    Exception is 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB'. In the FM at line 340 there is a statement:
        INSERT ausp FROM TABLE lt_i_ausp.
    This is the place where exception is raised.
    I am looking for a Note for this, but if some body has any idea on this, Please share.

  • Expert Tools for Marketing Attributes

    Hi,
    In Expert Tools, if we use the tool “Assignment of an Attribute value to all BPs in a Target Group” and specify the old attribute in “Old value” and new in “New Value” field, the old attribute in overwritten by the new attribute.
    When I go to BP Master and check the Marketing attributes tab page of one of the BP, the new attribute is captured there.
    But when in segment builder I try to search this BP in my Target group, the BP is not there.
    I tried to change attributes of this target group many times through expert tools, everytime this particular BP's attributes were also changed, which means this BP is a part of my target group. Whey Can't I see it in the segment builder when I view list of all BPs in this target group?
    Please help.

    Thank you so much for awarding points.
    Please note that in Transaction PFCG you have to assign the appropriate three digit attribute set key under the authorization group BGKRL to the authorization object C_KLAH_BKL for assigning attribute sets and to the authorization object C_KLAH_BKP for editing attribute sets.

  • Can not delete marketing attribute set

    I am trying to delete an 'Attribute Set' & Attribute.  I have managed to delete the attribute but when trying to delete the attribute set i get the error - Attribute Group ZIC_PTS_BP Still Contains Business Partners.
    I have ran - CRM_MKTPFTPL_DELETE_ATSET which seemed to delete all the assigned entries but I still can't delete the attribute set
    any ideas?

    The attribute set is not geeting deleted since it has been assigned to some buisiness partners, which can be seen in the marketing attributes tab page of the business partner.
    Delete the assignment first, than only you will be in a position to delete your attribute set.

    In CRM 4.0, marketing attributes set can be created at T-code [CRMD_PROF_TEMPL]
    The created attribue set can be assigned to BP at T-code [CRMD_PROF_BP]
    The other way you can open the BP, in marketing at marketing attributes tab your can assign the created attribute set.

  • Disable Marketing attributes in PCUI

    First of all you need to copy the Application default view to customer view and make changes there ,that way application default layout will not be disturbed.
    Get the PCUI CookBook and read that to understand it better.
    Follow the given steps:
    1. Go to transaction CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C
    2. Under Application Layout-> View create a new 'Z' View for ex: ZACC
    3. Launch the Customizing tool by clicking on Define Layout of the People-centric UI (Customizing tool)
    4.Load CRMM_ACCOUNT and copy the default blank view to customer view by clicking on  2nd icon next to view dropdown list.
    5. It might take couple of minutes ,once it is done save it,system will create a transport request for it.
    6. Now go to CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C,and click on Application Element->Tab Page group->Tab page group structure
    7. Enter ACC_03 ,there you see list of tabs available
    8.Click on Marketing Attributes Tab and change value of Inactive property to 'Flag Set Even has occured'
    9. Save it and launch the application with blview=ZACC attached fto the URL for example  http://hostname.com:port/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_bsp_frame/entrypoint.do?appl=CRMM_ACCOUNT&blview=ZACC

  • Marketing Attr. tab is not showed to Employee role

    Hi gurus
    When a BP is created under Employee role, it doesn´t display Marketing Attributes tab, even when I assigned "CRM005 Marketing profile" screen into  BUP1 main screen sequence.
    Could someone sugget me some solution?

    Hi Efrain,
      Why would you want to maintain the marketing attributes for Employee role..the attributes are not role based. It is for the business partner.
    So if you maintain the attributes for the 0000 Business Partner (General) role this should be sufficient.
    Even though the tab "Marketing Attributes" is not displayed for the employee role, if you select the "Business Partner (General)" role again, you can see that the attributes are still assigned to the partner.

    I would like to have BADI where i can identify whether user has changed any marketting attributes or not.
    These marketting attributes are stored in AUSP stable.
    Process:
    User go to transaction BP and open one partner.
    In edit mode, go to marketting attributes tab and change/add/delete attributes.
    And user hit save button.
    Now i would like to identify what user has done.
    I think, this can be tracked in BADI.

    The attribute “Report Layout” is missing in the “Print Attributes” tab for an interactive report?
    How to alter the report layout (xsl-fo) of an interactive report?
    Has someone any idea where to configure this?
    Btw, for the "classic" SQL Report the XSL-FO "Report Layout" can be cahnged in "Print Attributes" and this works fine for me. But I want to change the xsl-fo for the interactive report.

Unlike classic reports, the Interactive Report Print Attributes can only utilize the default XSL-FO layout and is initiated from the Report Attributes, Download section rather than directly from this screen.     How can the "default XSL-FO layout" be changed?
    Changing is necessary because the Apache FOP 1.0 reports the following error (for the transmitted default XSL-FO):
    "fo:simple-page-master", "fo:region-body" must be declared before "fo:region-before"

    I've found two workaround for getting Apache FOP 1.0 to work with Oracle Apex 4.0 for PDF printing of interactive reports:
    1, Use an application process to set your custom layout for interactive reports:

    [ ] Create an Application Process e.g. "Custom Report Layout" with constraint for request 'PDF' and Process Text:

    The code depends on the solution you are using to parse the xsl string.

In the production system, while in display mode a particular marketing attribute value for a Business Partner is not present in the marketing attrbute tab of the BP transaction. As soon as I switch to the Edit mode, the value is getting populated. Any clues why this might happen? Thanks in advance!!!

    Please check adding the parameter  WCF_IGNORE_ENHANCEMT and Value as A in Transaction SU01 under parameter in the production system. This will tirgger only the standard. Then check if  the Marketing attributes are working  as expected in the standard without enhancment. If you are still having the issue in the standard. I would suggest please raise a OSS with SAP.

    So how do I define which attribute to use?

    The Marketing Attributes are there in the answers.
    In the repository try using
    Answers >> Dynamic Answers >> Default >> Marketing Attribute
    When you use this in the script (Question), you will see one of the Tabs below called 'Dynamic Content Parameters', here you can specify the details.

  • A Bug in "Print Attributes" tab in IR?

    Project Environment:
    Database: Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.1.0.6.0 - Production
    Apex : Application Express 3.1.1.00.09
    Also....: apex.oracle.com
    Problem scenario:
    I created an Interactive Reports (IR) in my project and tried to configure the "Download" PDF. It worked fine on "Classic Report". But for IR, it never worked. I'm facing multiple problems. They are:
    A. PDF report is blank.
    B. Sometime Acrobat Reader says "could not open <file name> because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged...)"
    When open the same file in a text editor, I can see the following:
    ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error
    ORA-06512: at "FLOWS_030100.WWV_FLOW_RENDER_QUERY", line 636
    ORA-06503: PL/SQL: Function returned without value
    I then thought I could be missing something in the config. So wanted to create a sample IR in apex.oracle.com and see what happens. The following is the result:
    Notes:
    A. Please use IE to test this. Also untick "Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)" from "Tools->Internet Options->Advanced". It works ok in Firefox, I believe.
    B. You can simulate this in apex.oracle.com (at least I was able to!!)
    Steps:
    1. Create an IR as normal. Say, App ID=46305, Page ID=6 and Region Name=Sample Interactive Report. Dont configure the "Print" settings yet.
    2. Once done and tested to see if it works ok.
    3. Now open Page (6) where you have the IR and click on the name, i.e. "Sample Interactive Report".
    4. We get "Edit Region" page with three tabs:
    a. Region Definition (current tab)
    b. Report Attributes
    c. Print Attributes
    5. Click "Print Attributes" tab
    6. Because the "Disable" flag is unticked (as per the note above), this will pop-up an error message:
    A Runtime Error has occurred.
    Do you wish to Debug?
    Line: 1
    Error: Object required.
    7. You can choose "No" to ignore it. But I tried "Yes" to see what the error is. The error is in the line:
    document.getElementById('P774_PRINT_FORMAT').value!='%null%'
    Clearly it is going to P774 and doesn't find P774_PRINT_FORMAT field and so the error. Is there a fix? How come it is not giving error in Firefox? Or should I enable / disable something in Firefox o get this error? And the most importantly how to avoid this error?
    8. Further on... if you go into "Report Attributes" and click the edit button on one of columns and then click "Print Attributes" tab, it goes to P960 and no errors!!
    9. Why does "Print Attributes" links from the main tabs (Report Definition and Report Attributes) go to P774 and from "Dynamic Query Attributes" goes to P960?
    10. Also, In P960, the "Report Columns" section says "Report returned no rows.". Is this normal in IR?
    Ultimately, although I can configure my Apex to use "BI Publisher" installation to create my PDF outputs from "Classic Reports", I couldn't do from IR.
    Seeking Answers For:
    1. Why PDF output of the IR report produces 0k file (and so blank report) when the screen displays records? This is common in my project as well as in apex.oracle.com. What am I missing?
    2. How to get rid of "ORA-06512: at "FLOWS_030100.WWV_FLOW_RENDER_QUERY", line 636"?
    3. Is there patch for this conflict between links accessing the "Print Attributes" pages (P774 and P960) as explained in the "Steps" above.

    Had some trouble to get the PDF print working, too. Printing works fine for standard reports, but for interactive report I am not able to get it working. Sometimes I am getting only blank pages (and no file) and sometimes I am getting PDF's which just contain an internal 500 error.     I get a message 'express document "update was terminated" recieved from author' while creating and saving a marketing attribute. The attribute gets created and I can assign them as well. I would like to know why I am getting this message and am I missing something?
    I am using CRM 5.0 online.

    You should check if there is a dump in ST22..... If there is one, then you can find the cause there... Most of the times it is an Authorization Issue.
