Marketing Emails to Staff Bouncing

Hi everyone,
Since using the marketing aspect of our website (www.retailsystemspl.com.au) we have been having issues sending out emails to internal staff.
Basically, what I want to be able to do is send my marketing piece to all clients, and all of my staff so they know what information is being sent to clients - this way they can understand and process enquiries efficiently
To do this I have created a staff marketing list containing the email addresses/info of staff , which is also included in the recipients stage.
Whilst our email campaigns and test emails are working for clients, they are not coming through to my 8 staff.
Now I don't fully understand this, but according to our IT guru  we thought that this may be an issue due to our remote DYNDWS address.
We are now using a FQDN connection and still not recieving emails.
I have looked at email bounces and below is a print screen of some staff members bounce reasons, -means nothing to me..but they all seem to bounce for the same reason..
Has anyone else experienced this issue before? Any ideas or ways of resolving this?
We are at a loss... :/

  • How to include link with parameter in marketing emails?

    Hi, my client wants to send out personalized marketing emails to customers with a link back to the BC site that have a parameter on the end that passes the customer's email address the message was sent to. Then the landing page can parse that email off the end of the URL and insert it into the web form on the page where the customer can update his info, insuring he is using the same email that BC sent the message to rather than supplying a different one.
    If you insert a BC tag like {tag_recipientemail} into the body of the message it will replace that tag with the customer's email, but it doesn't work to use that BC tag within the HTML link in the email like this:
    <a href="https://mysite.worldsecuresystems.com/birthday?{tag_recipientemail}" > Click Here </a>
    That renders the TAG code {tag_recipientemail}on the end of the URL, not the email address.
    Anyone found a work around?
    If this was a web page I could use javascript to fix this, but of course email clients receiving messages don't allow javascript to run inside them, so this has to be fixed server side by BC.

    I suspect the same. That should work in the real campaign. I believe that it doesn't work in the e-mail me functionality because the user you are logged in is not connected to the CRM table, which is where that tag is pulling the info from.

    I can personally ensure you get it if after waiting the 60 days you still haven't recieved it yet.
    You would also want to ensure:
    - You have the annual (yearly) Creative Cloud plan
    - You log into the Creative Cloud website from within 3 of the Adobe Touch Apps from the tablet using your Adobe ID associated with your membership
    If all this looks correct and you don't recieve an email after the 60 days, send me a private message and I'll ensure you get it.

    I am experiencing problems receiving emails. Select senders are receiving bounce backs to me. They are reporting this diagnostic error message: The following organization rejected your message: mx4.mac.com.akadns.net. It only happens for certain senders.

      Well..we are planning to upgrade to 5.0 by end of the year. Before we upgrade, we are looking for a solution.
    We are also using open rate tracking realized by custom development. This will be impacted if the user opens the bounced emails as it would be recorded as an opened email which in turn will impact the open rate.
    I can may be get the bounced emails into CRM and process them to get the list. But it does not sound worth while since we are planning to upgrade soon.
    I thought there could be some other way we can track the bounced emails.

  • Ovi email very often bouncing

    Why do postings to my Ovi email account bounce so frequently?
    This is not a one-off it happens a lot. Sometimes it works sometimes it bounces.
    Every time it does this I get annoyed, yet a trial "mail to self" from my ovi account comes through straight away, and it appears normal.
    I have been testing it from various other email accounts and I often get bounces. For example today's test from Gmail shows me : (xxx is my account)

    Welcome to the forum! 
    Does this mean you are unable to open the app as it will just give an error "application error"? Can you try to access other apps and check if they have the same issue? Have you tried rebooting your phone?

  • My emails to others bounce back even if they are replies

    I get emails from my contact form on my 2 websites. I also get emails from people who have my business card. In about one out of three cases, my reply email to these new emailers bounces back, and the message I get is something along the lines of it being perceived as spam by their email system. They're one to one emails, not groups. I don't use any of the words that might normally trigger spam, and I'm almost always replying to someone enquiring after my workshops. So I'm losing business by not being able to contact them back.

    Some spam filters do not like peoples signature. You might examine what you have in your signature and see if you need to modify that.

    Hi All
    We have created email channel for campaign execution. When I select the same in a campaign, assign a mail form and perform the channel test the email is sent and I can check the same in SCOT and SOST and in the reciepents inbox.
    But when I Release the campaign and transfer Target Group to Channels. The emails does not go even if the email addresses for all BP in target group are maintained.
    We have also configured a system email as senders email.
    I'm using CRM 5.0 with SP10.
    Please advice what should I do in this case.

    I also want to provide with some info that could help...
    - you mentioned to have "released" the marketing campaign. I assume you have also "started" it if you have some more complex marketing campaign (use the campaign automation to check it better).
    - From the campaign automation you can see the process log (you should find the Start Campaign Process set to "completed") and for each marketing campaign element the process log displays the "workflow log". You should have "Create Target Group + Channel Transfer" in processing or completed with an associated work flow id. Go to the SWI1 transaction with this ID and check the log. You could have got a workflow error. If th status is instead "in waiting" check the ST22 if you have got any dumps! Even if you have the most recent SP (10) the Marketing Segmentation module is still affect of some bugs.

    Did you migrate your MobileMe account to iCloud in August last year? Or did you open an iCloud account when it was first available? 
    Do you have a functioning @icloud.com version of the @me.com address? - please send yourself a message to that and see what happens.
    Can you log in with this address at http://icloud.com ?

    Why are my emails getting bounced back to sender? The error message to me says it would have caused my bytes quote to be exceeded. I have no excess of messages in my trash or inbox.

    It might be helpful if you disclose who your email provider is.
    As stated above, the mail messages on the server may have exceeded what your provider allows for and if you have the mail account to never delete messages from the server on the iPad, that could be why you are getting the messages.
    In other words, you can delete messages on the iPad and they could still be on the server.

    When people receive emails which appear to come from their own address but they haven't sent they naturally tend to be concerned: however it's most unlikely that anyone has hacked their account, they've just been targeted by one of two common spammers' techniques: both arise because it's all too easy to forge the 'from' address on messages to be something other than the real one.
    There are two things that can happen. One is that the sender has forged the 'from' address to be the same as the 'to' address (so other people will see it coming from themselves, not you), presumably in the hope of confusing spam filters. It's harmless, if extremely annoying. Delete it (never ever answer spam or try to unsubscribe from it), and you don't need to be worried about it.
    The other problem, which appears to be what is affecting you, is that a spammer is forging your address as the 'from' address on a whole batch of messages. The first thing you hear about this is when you start getting bounce messages because the spam has been sent to non-existent addresses and is being bounced to you. There's no point at all in responding to it. It's infuriating but normally stops after a bit as they move on to another forged address.
    There isn't really anything you can do about it: closing the account isn't really worth the hassle unless you are totally swamped, because you will have to tell everyone your new address. Apple can't really do any more than they already are about spam.

    Is this some setting in my computer, or is this verizon, or my server? Anybody know? Several emails to verizon people have come back, but as you can see not becuase it was percieved as spam.

    If the email contains too many spammy words or phrases, they might think it's spam. Don't write email that looks like spam...
    You are not blacklisted. Your email provider or ISP is. Contact them. They will have to remedy the situation.

  • Error 8008 - Episode won't download - itunes store email address now bounces

    I've spend ~£26 on the HD version of Battlestar Galactica Season 2; this should get me all the episodes in Series 3 & 4.
    Unfortunately, one episode (Season 4, Episode 13, "The Oath") repeatedly fails to download (1 week now, at least a dozen attempts).
    It gets 1.2Gb of 1.4Gb into the download, stops, restarts all over again, gets to 1.2Gb and then gives error 8008.
    I've been in contact with the itunes store multiple times about it (Re: CAS : (en_US) Purchases, Billing & Redemption; Follow-up: 295940492) and they kept saying "try it again", "i've marked it for redownload" but nothing has changed.
    I now can't even email the itunes store people who have been "supporting me", as their email address no longer replies (it bounces at apple's end with a 550 Recipient address rejected).
    I reckon the content is broken in the cloud; maybe I'm the only mug stupid enough to try to buy TV series this way, but not to worry it won't happen again.
    I've deleted my downloads directory, retried this so many times I'm probably on the verge of getting a bandwidth warning, I've tried two different networks - to no avail.
    So here I am, in the forums, wondering if all I can do is do the nuclear option of challenging the credit card transaction to get the refund?

    Any joy getting this sorted?  I have the same problem.  Can't download it, can't stop it from trying.  Getting quite annoying now.

    A number of posters are reporting this problem. It could be a problem with the Yahoo server. If deleting and setting up thevaccount again is not the solution then give it a few hours.
