Marketing planner - Year Calandar

Hi,
Can someone help me out, I lost my state of the art marketing year planner.:(
Because it was very time consuming to make, I do hope that someone can share his or hers.
It was a year planner that gives you in one glance on overview of:
- your trade shows
- direct Marketing actions
- projects
- etc.
The top row is time line for a year (day by day), each row represent an Marketing activity.

Hello
Can't do exactly that in a single table because we are not allowed to put more than 256 columns in a table.
But creating one table for each month is quite easy.
In cell B1 of table January, type 1/1/2008
In cell C1 of table January, type 2/1/2008
Select cells B1 & C1 then fill to the right dragging the circular handle.
Do the same for table February and so on.

Hi Anirban
In general, if you are getting a syntax error in a standard SAP program (non 'Z' namespace for ABAP) then you probably should search the SAP Service marketplace for notes. Particularly in an older SP like yours.
There are other notes to consider, eg 735219.
If you do not find a note, then you probably want to take advantage of SAP's AGS and create a customer message. It may be a newly discovered bug.

What is the purpose for campaign code field? How to generate this field value in Mail forms?
Why it appears in marketing planner - campaign.

Last Record in Marketing Planner BSP

Hi all,
I use Marketing Planner on BSP. When a user logins to system to directly marketing planner (?appl=CRMD_MKTPL), he gets the last trade promotion he created or changed on the system.
And when he wants to create a new trade promotion it is shown under the old one in the Marketing Projects hierarchy.
Any ways to make user see the a blank page he can create new trade promotion when he logs in.

Hello Utku,
I think this problem is very similar to the problem described by Vishal Lahoti in the topic Default Query not getting executed in PCUI. Perhaps you should post OSS Messages referencing each other to get a soluton from SAP.

BP for CRM 5.0 Marketing Planner

We have Portal 2004s SP10, CRM 5.0 and installed Business Package for CRM 5.0. We are only using one iView at this time, Marketing Planner. Two issues with the iView.
1) Once I do anything to this iView, it retains this view until I either do a complete new search or physically change view. This is causing frustration if someone just wants to create a new plan.
2) When we have clicked new and then want to leave the iView, it states "all relevant fields have not been entered" and will not let the person leave the iView.
3) If the link to the iView is clicked on again, to refresh, this opens up the portal in a new window, this is not good.
I am assuming if I can get rid of problem 2, 3 will go away; but does anyone have any hints on how to get the iView to resume to it's blank state after leaving the iView such as logging out?
My client will be very happy for your help!

Adapter Object Marketing Planner

Hi Forum,
I have an issue with the Marketing planner transfer to R/3 Project systems.
Is there a way to find the Table details of the source and target for an adapter object crm_mktpl_r3int.
I have created the site types, subscription objects and all the customization for integration in both CRM and R3 as well as PS also. But now when I run the initial load it says no table found for data exchange
When I go to r3ac1 and check the adapter object for marketing planner there are no tables defined for the source and destination. I am confused because in R3AC3 there are too many tables for different objects of marketing planner and campaigns.
Is there a way to find the Table details of the source and target for an adapter object crm_mktpl_r3int.
Are the tables cgpl_project (source) and PRPS (target) correct

Hi Raj,
In my opinion these are intermediate table since I checked them and they are still empty. I had already released 4 campaigns so if these were the initial tables to start with then all those 4 campaigns should have been here.
The direction of CRM_MKTPL_R3MAP table is from crm to r3 so it is source table and it shud have those 4 campaigns.
The direction of cgpl_r3_attribut is R/3 to crm so it is the target destination. so it will receive at the r3 end.
On the other hand cgpl_project has all the entries so I have used it as a source and PRPS as target But still the queue is in wait status.
If you have this scenario configured plz check in r3ac1.

Go to t/code DNO_CUST01 and double click on SFL1 and make sure "number range" is 01 and "action profile" is SLFN0001_STANDARD_DNO.
Your number range interval in t/code CRMC_NR_RA_SERVICE should be consistant with NR details in t/code DNO_NOTIF (check note: 498984 to set it up)

Permanently delete Campaigns from Marketing Planner and Reuse Campaign ID

Hi,
you might try this. Make sure you have not still scheduled any dependent objects of a marketing plan and campaigns (e.g. campaign elements belonging to the campaign, conditions). In customizing you are able to archive marketing projects. You are able to delete all marketing projects that are successfully stored in the archive from the the database.

Marketing Planner - PCUI Question

Within the Marketing Planner, we would like to remove the default values of <b>Campaign Element and Campaign Element Copy</b> from the "New" button of the MKT_PL_OIP toolbar. Can anyone tell me how this can be done? Possibly through security or through PCUI config? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kristi
You need to follow these steps to remove it. It cannot be achieved through PCUI config.
1. copy the MAC CL_CRM_BSP_MKTPL_ACC_TREE to ZCL_CRM_BSP_MKTPL_ACC_TREE and assign it in your application set.
2. In the method OIC_FILL_EVENTGROUP of class ZCL_CRM_BSP_MKTPL_ACC_TREE, delete from internal table lt_object_type_text, object type CPG where CPG stands for Campaign.
This should resolve your problem.

Does anyone know if the following error has any effect on "Warning System CLNT400BW0 cannot be reached" on the Market Planner? What do i have to do to eliminate this message? Call in basis/BW team?

this warning comes, because the BW client is not available for you to use and the marketing planner needs it for key figure planning and analysis.
But the marketing plan can work with this warning also but these functionalities will not be available to you
If you want this error not to come, you will have to get the logical system for BW created and connectivity maintained

Well, i have added some fields with the EEWB tool, but now i would like to generate a table or do something like a table...my question is: Is that possible? generate a table like a grid in the screen painter but in the EEWB¿? or only i can add fields..

Problems with activation of CRM_MKTELM hierarchy from CRM Marketing Planner

Hi Guru's
I am facing a problem between CRM 5.0 and BI7.0 in the Marketing Planner. When I create a marketing plan with elements in the marketing planner, it cannot update the hierarchy for InfoObject CRM_MKTELM in BI7. The error message:
Data in SAP BI could not be updated completely: see log
Message no. CGPL_BW_INTERFACE014
When opening the log it says that the hierachy does not exist. After this in BW there is now an A and M version of the hierarchy CRMMKTROOT, the M with the latest elements from CRM. (from here i can now activate the M one manually)
The action Activate BW Hierarchy in the Marketing Planner does not seem to work. We tried to run the activation program in CRM as well, without succes. We also checked the settings in SPRO in CRM, and looked at some notes as well.
Does anybody have a clue on this one?

In short Marketing Planer is set of Marketing Campaign, Trade Pramotion and Deal.
U can use this for executing sales, marketing, advertising, product awareness campaigns later on u can analyse data on customers, target groups, sales, territories, u can plan, execute and monitor the marketing process campaign and analyse/use for future campaigns.

does anybody knows if tehere is a BAPI/FM to read complete hierarchy of a marketing planner ?
I mean i have MKTPL's GUID from table CGPL_PROJECT and i'd like to know entire hierarchy of it.....

try FM CRM_ORDER_READ.
If it doesn't work go to sm37 and/or trx BAPI, and start searching any FM with *read.
