Marketplace points

Why are Marketplace purchases no longer worthy of points? Everything I purchased after June 16th says points not available because it was a marketplace purchase.... Give me a break?!?!? I have already spent about $30K this year and now Best Buy is taking away my rewards? Why should I continue shopping there?
I just want to know if this is something temporary or long term?

As of 6/19/2014, points are no longer awarded when placing a Marketplace order on BestBuy.com. We continually evaluate our programs and periodically make changes based on business or engagement reasons. With that being said, there are still plenty of ways to earn points via the My Best Buy™ program. I would strongly encourage you to periodically check the forum and MyBestBuy.com for new offers and promotions.

Migration problem from NW 04s to NW 7.1 CE

Hi,
Our project (based on Java Webdynpro tech.) has to be migrated from NW 04s to NW 7.1 CE. We have a new track and everything that is needed.
The problem is that is seems to be that 7.1 is compatible backward to 04s according to the documentation should be. But in our real case of XI it does not work properly because we are not able to deploy our DC-s to our new 7.1 track.
We faced several problems:
- Some packages are not permitted to public use in NW (XI Proxy and ID Generators) anymore, which were available in 7.0. We have to request these usage from NW
Structure Governance Board.
- The generated XI Java Classes (which are processing the communications with XI) are only partly deployable on the 7.1 engine.
- The service marketplace does not contain MS-SQL Version of the 7.1 CE Engine (The link in MS-SQL Page in Service Marketplace pointed to MaxDB version download)
- The license of the NW 7.1 CE and release needs more clarifications, because SAP does not release NW 7.1 as platform.
Has anybody done a migration regarding XI content or the below mentioned migration issues?

I'd say the main SAP Note you have to keep in mind here regarding updating the ASE in a Business Suite environment, is the one Victoria has mentioned above:

That Note includes links to all Notes related to the update subject (including the SAP Note 1590719 ).
The section "Download the software from the SAP Service Marketplace" point to the link and details how to check and get the latest ASE and DBCLIENT (which includes the ODBC and JDBC drivers) patches available.
Currently , for ASE 15.7:
ASE: Sybase ASE 15.7 FOR BUS. SUITE SP133

Bring Back Marketplace Reward Points & Reimburse Back Points.

I have to say, that I am really upset with Best Buy with them changing their status of NOT getting rewarded for ordering item thru Marketplace. I have ALWAYS order items thru best buy and thru Marketplace, NOw we don't get rewarded for ordering items that are on the best but website that goes to a 3rd party site. I truly believe they need to look over this issue again and reinstate that Best Buy customers will get rewarded for ordering items thru best buy Marketplace. This is like saying to sign up to a club membership but can't have the goods that comes with signing up. I believe I will have to start looking for another electronic place to order my items. Best Buy never have my items listed under Best Buy, they are always under Marketplace. With that, I am the one that is losing out. I would like to have the favor and speak with the department that handles the reward points and tell them that they will start losing customers if they don't reinstate the reward points for buying items thru the Marketplace.

Allan-BBY,YES BESTBUY did award customers when they purchased thru Marketplace, II have the proof, it you like to see it. Bestbuy stopped awarding customers on 06/19/2014., Even Derek-BBY replyed back and stated that date also. I am a customer that buys alot of items thru the Marketplace. I am very upset because I would rack up alot of points since 06/19/2014, however, those purchases doesn't count towards my award account. It make me as a Bestbuy customer, very upset and want to get my items somewhere else. Here is what Derek-BBY said:I can imagine feeling disappointed if you have placed orders through the Best Buy Marketplace in the past and have since come to find out that points are no longer awarded for those orders. Service Marketplace Complexity and Problems

I'm posting this message simply to report a few problems I have with the SAP Service Marketplace that I think needs to be adressed rather rapidly.
The Service Marketplace is so big that even after many months in it, I'm still feeling a bit lost. And I don't seem to be the only one: even SAP people that actually maintains the site seems lost in it too!
For example: If you open what I consider to be the BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1 patches, (Menu Bar --> 'Downloads', 'Business Objects Downloads', 'Service Packs, Hot Fixes, Samples, and Utilities' and search for BusinessObjects XI 3.1 'Hot Fixes') they stop at FixPack 1.3, leading you to think that this is the currently highest available FixPack for BO. But - if you look for them using a different approach, you find that FixPack 1.6 is already available!
'SAP Software Distribution Center' --> (In the grey bar left hand side of the screen) 'Download' -->
(still in the same grey bar) 'Support Packages and Patches' --> (Once more in that bar) 'Search for Support Packages and Patches'.
And finally, in the search screen, search for 'Enterprise', and voilà! FixPack 1.6.
The FixPack 1.5 for Windows will not download, the file seems corrupt and the 'SAP Download Manager' loops trying to fetch it. I called the support team regarding this, but I was in a hurry and couldn't take the required 30 mins back then to open a support message, so it's still broken today if I try again to get it. I guess not many customers have found that file yet... no one seem to have complained that the download link is broken!
One last problem: Where are the 'Supported Platforms' documents?? Even in the PDF's for XI 3.1, the links still points towards the sadly now defunct 'www.businessobjects.com' website. It took me a google search to find them, since I couldn't find any links on either the Service Marketplace or the Help Portal to them.

I hope you can accept these comments as positive criticism, there are lots of great things about SAP's BusinessObjects Portal, I'm just trying to help remove the irritating parts.

Can webi document be published on share point and how

Can you import or display a web intelligence report on the sharepoint portal? I did try it however was not successfull. I was thinking of having a webi report published on the share point along side with the other dashboard components, as Spreadsheet component does not support ALERT functionality.

You can get the installation guide by going to SAP Marketplace (http://service.sap.com/). Once you get into this site click on SAP Support Portal. Once you're there click on "Release and Upgrade Info", then on "Release & Upgrade Info". On the left panel locate "Business Objects", then "Business Objects XI 3.1". The right portion of your screeen will fill up with entries (PDFs), locate the one entitled "Installation Guide for Microsoft SharePoint"....

Message type schema for the marketplace adapter

Hey guys!
We are trying to using the marketplace adapter in XI to send a Shopping Cart from SRM to the Marketsite. It seems as if we need specific kind of schema for the message type that correspond to a SOX schema for the marketsite.
Can anyone share how the schema that should be imported into the integration repository should look like? An example maybe?

Marketplace Adapter and SonicMQ

Hi experts,
Im trying to configure the XI Marketplace Adapter (MPA) to send JMS messages to a SonicMQ Broker. The only specific SonicMQ configuration requested is the JMS Outbound Queue. I could not figure out how the adapter knows the location/port of the Broker acceptor, username and password, for example. These parameters are not explicit on the adapter configuration. I could not find any useful documentation about this. Can anyone point me any documentation or how can I make this kind of configuration?

First of all, thanks for your answers! But you all mentioned JMS adapter, which I already got to work but it doesnt solve my problem. Let me see if I can make it clearer.
Im working on a project that consists on migrating from a SAP/Commerce One Marketplace EAI solution to a mySAP SRM 5.0 solution, which uses SAP XI as the integration layer. Components from both solutions will coexist during this migration, including SAP XI, SAP Business Connector (BC) and SonicMQ. For this to work, I need to be able to configure XI send and receive messages to SonicMQ in MML format, which is the message format BC expects. Thats why the JMS Adapter doesnt solve my issue. I read that Marketplace adapter would do exactly what I want but I cannot figure out how to configure it to use the JMS protocol because the only explicit configuration is the Outbound queue.

Marketplace adapter (receiver) - DDID issue

Hey guys!
We are trying to configure the Marketplace adapter in XI to act as a receiver communication channel.
Our scenario is like this:
SRM (Purchase Order) > XI > MarketSite (Purchase Order)
It seems as if we need to define the DDIDs (Document Destination IDs) for the various suppliers (receivers) as well as the buyer (sender); however, the only place we know where to define the DDID (Service > Adapter-specific identifiers...) only allows for one DDID to be specified.
Have any of you guys configured the Marketsite adapter (Receiver) before? If so, could you show us how to manage the DDID issue?
Also, we have been using the SAP business connector to send the PO from SRM to MarketSite but we plan to replace it with SAP XI. Should we consider using the business connector adapter in XI? If so, where do we define the DDIDs?

Transport KM rooms as entry point for broadcasting from Portal 7.01 to Portal 7.4 possible?

Hallo together,
is it possible to transport entry points (for broadcasting) from one portal to another?
For our upgrade BW 7.01 to BW 7.4 we want to transport the KM Content (including the rooms).
Transporting the rooms and room structures is no problem, but the transported rooms are not visible in ENTRY POINTS -> My Room Folders.
Only rooms that are newly created in the 7.4 Portal are visible in that folder.
Is there are way to make the transported rooms also visible there?

I know that WP-PI 6.00 will work fine with R/3 4.6C but my doubt is if I can use WP-PI 6.00 (which is
EP 6.00 plug-in) to connect the R/3 4.6c with an EP 7.00.
I didn´t find anything like WP-PI 7.00 in SAP Marketplace. I´ve already read the note you pointed out but it refers to EP 6.00. It also says you can use WP-PI 6.00 por EP 5.0 or Sap Workplace. But can I also use it with EP 7.00?

Could not get access to download area on SAP Service Marketplace

Hi All,
When trying to download the SAP Mobile Execution for Motorola software in the download center in the Application and User Management work center, I get the following error message:
"Could not get access to download area on SAP Service Marketplace."
I have also search for this software in the Service Marketplace, but to no avail.
I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of where I can download this software, or ideally the cause and solution to this error message.

Issue might be due to incorrect data in the system i.e., license codes assigned to your contract may be invalid or expired or Contract/ order is blocked due to payment issues.
These information has to be checked in detail.

Photoshop Exchange vs Photoshop Marketplace, where to submit ?

Hello.
I am a bit confused about the similarities/differences between Photoshop Exchange vs Photoshop Marketplace.
I have many Photoshop files that I want to upload (over ~400) I and I don't know were^ to upload them, these files are layouts, buttons, brushes, etc.
Will Photoshop Marketplace replace Photoshop Exchange in near future? That is what I thought.

Since you mention uploading files, you'd want to use Photoshop Exchange. Photoshop Marketplace relies on the 'publisher' to serve the files and doesn't have an upload feature. I'm not involved with this project so I certainly could be wrong on this point, but I don't think one is meant to replace the other.
Photoshop Exchange has historically been a place to find files that can be directly uploaded/downloaded which extend the capabilities of the Photoshop application. Marketplace is a newer service that has a broader goal to provide information related to Photoshop solutions which includes information about books, DVD's, events, user groups, as well as the types of files distributed in Photoshop Exchange.
Hopefully that helps clear things up a bit.

Not allowed to downloading from the creative cloud marketplace (ex. a iPhone mockup)

i have the photographer membership, but when i try to download something from the creative cloud marketplace (ex. a iPhone mockup) it says that this function is only for paying members... isn´t I a paying member with the photographer-membership payed for one year ahead....

You are recieving 2 error :-
"The procedure entry point GetLogicalProcessorInformation could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll."
This particular error means that you have a problem with your OS install (it's missing a function that should be there).
And is there any chance that you had problems installing one of the OS service packs?
Upgrade to Win XP SP3 and then check.

Marketplace downloading problems

When i try to download apps from marketplace, it says that im not yet 18 years old. But i am registered with email which is over 18 years old. And it says that i need to login to zune on my computer nyt when i do that it asks an email from adult, which i dont have. I dont know what to do, please help!

As Marketplace and Microsoft account are both services from Microsoft I would suggest you contact support on Marketplace for information and assistance. You can reach them here. Point at the Marketplace icon and select 'Contact us'.

Do you have to have a credit card to Purchase apps from the Marketplace?
I've tried registering my Visa Debit card and Zune rejects this
Looking at the payment options it gives you the choice of American Express, Mastercard or Visa
and all wording on the page indicates it's Credit cards only if this is the case then this is an epic fail for Microsoft
Fair enough, Credit cards might be popular in America but this is supposed to be a worldwide market

If you can't, or don't want to use a credit card, is it possible to use XBox Live points ??
I bought 400 points the other week to test the theory but, to be honest, haven't found anything I want to buy in the marketplace yet.
I've asked in the video games stores and the high street phone shops but no-one seems to know if windows Mango phones let you buy with XBox points.
Coming from an iPhone and the Apple store, the setup between Mango / Nokia Music / Zune / Marketplace / XBox live / App Highlights is far too confusing and seems to be just a bunch of stuff thrown together at the last minute.
