Masking CCM PIM Type 10 Network VRU Label

We have a Type 10 Network VRU configured with a label 8222222222 on the CCM Pim.
Everything is working fine from a call routing functionality.
Is there a way to mask the label 8222222222XXX from appearing on the phone when the route point is dialed?

There is a UCM service paramater that controls the display of the dialed number. In UCM 7.x the paramater is "

Always Display Original Dialed Number". The default is False. Set it to True, and the CTI RP DN should be displayed instead of the UCM VRU label.

I had this problem - it appeared to be due to having Firefox 4 with the Firefox Sync installed as an add-on. Firefox 4 has sync included so there is no need to have it as an add-on. I went to the add-on manager and removed Firefox Sync and now appears to be working correctly.

Using output type ET01 for Material Label

Hello,
We are looking to implement a label for Deliveries through various processes which include manual and MIGO.
We have already implemented the GR label using the output type WEE1, however, we need to implement another label for Goods Issue as well.
From our understanding we need to use output type ET01 for delivery labels. However, we need inputs on how to implement this output type. And can we also print this output form through MIGO, as I understand message is determined only at the delivery level which comes after MIGO?
Please correct me if the output type ET01 is not meant for deliveries/GI label.

Ok, I solved it.
I followed this steps:
1- Turn Off Wi-Fi from the Wireless menu item
2- From the OS X Finder, hit Command+Shift+G and enter the following path:
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/
3- Within this folder locate and select the following files:
com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
 com.apple.network.identification.plist
com.apple.wifi.message-tracer.plist 
NetworkInterfaces.plist 
preferences.plist
4- Move all of these files into a folder on your Desktop called ‘wifi backups’ or something similar – we’re backing these up just in case you break something but if you regularly backup your Mac you can just delete the files instead since you could restore from Time Machine if needed.
5- Reboot the Mac
6- Turn ON WI-Fi from the wireless network menu again

Forcing a send to VRU label

This is a classic "branch office" deployment, where the voice gateway at the branch is a combined ingress-vxml gateway.
We want the VRU leg to run on the same gateway as the incoming call.
If we have a number of gateways and put static routes in the SIP Proxy for the VRU transfer label (say 8111111111*) then the proxy will round robin the SIP INVITES across the set of gateways. Thus we cannot control which gateway the VRU leg will go to. Sometimes it will be correct, and run on the ingress gateway - and most of the time it will be incorrect and run on the wrong gateway, requiring an RTP stream between the ingress gateway and the VXML gateway.
This is elegantly solved by not having the VRU transfer label configured in the Proxy, but added to the "Send To Originator" area of the SIP section configuration of the CVP Call Servers. Add "8111111111>" to this section - the greater-than sign is a wild card that deals with the appended correlation ID. Also add the ringtone label 91919191 and the error label 92929292 to this section.
The Call Server will check the Send To Originator section first - before asking the Proxy. When the original INVITE comes from an IOS gateway, that information will be in the SDP section of the SIP request, and so it will be in the INVITE for the 8111111111xxx label. Under these conditions, the Call Server will send the INVITE back to the ingress gateway, catching your dial peer and starting the bootstrap service. When the call is sent to an agent, the ringback will also run on the originating gateway.
With this configuration, no matter how many gateways you have, the VRU leg will always run on the ingress gateway.
Why won't this be suitable?

Is it possible to make this type of network with router i have?

I have Linksys WRT54GC router at home and i share internet to all my PCs through the router.
Is it possible to share internet firstly through my PC, and then through this router to all other pcs? If it is possible how i should configure my router? If not - do i have to buy some kind of switch to make this type of network?
Example scheme:

I have now this configuration of my PC's and router, but internet on PC2 is not working, but PC2 and router see each other. But ping between PC1 and router (192.168.0.1 192.168.0.2) says "no response":

It is not clear to me what the exact problem is. The screenshots show that everything is correct. The second PC should have internet with this setup. PC1 won't be able to ping the router on 192.168.0.2 if you block ICMP (anonymous WAN requests) on the router. That setting should be on the Security tab.
I would suggest to set up the WRT as simple wireless access point. That way you still have full LAN connectivity between all your computers. To do that, you have to temporarily wire a computer to a LAN port of the router. Unplug the gateway computer from the router! There is only a single computer connected to the WRT at the moment.
Open http://10.10.10.1/ or whatever LAN IP address you have set on the WRT at the moment. On the Setup tab, change the internet connection type to "Automatic/DHCP", change the LAN IP address from 10.10.10.1 to 192.168.0.2, disable the DHCP server. Now press the save settings button. You'll loose the connection to the router. That's OK.
Now rewire the router. Connect a LAN port of the router to the gateway computer. Do not use the internet port on the WRT! That is the basic setup.
Now wired computers connected to the remaining 3 LAN ports on the WRT should have LAN and internet access. In the same way, wireless clients connect into the ICS LAN and have internet.

Is there a reliable PIM type app which synchs data?

I moved from a Treo to the iPhone about a year ago and have been waiting for a PIM-type app which would allow me to synch information (notes, logins, bits of this & that) between my Mac and iPhone. It also needs to be password protected and have data encryption.
There's a product called Info Select which had a Palm counterpart that worked beautifully this way on my Treo and PC.
I've seen several contenders come and go in the App Store, just waiting for one to mature. I'm actually surprised Apple hasn't done this because of the amount of functionality it would add to the phone, especially for business users.
Anyhow, IS there something I've just missed that anyone can recommend? Browsing the App store is so painful I hate going back to keep tabs on what's available.

It's not really clear whether you want a notes app or a contacts-plus app or a locked mini-database app.

GTS7.2: EDI convertor / type of network in customs declaration

In the Master Guide of GTS 7.2, I found a EDI converter is necessary in declaration to customs offices.
Is it possible to use NetWeaver PI as EDI converter?

If it is possible, what type of network do you use?
- dialup (with dialup-router)
- internet (HTTPS/SSL)
- VPN
- leased circuit
- or etc
I think, using leased circuit only for customs declaration is a surplus investment.
But other types of network are not so stable to use.

I am not sure if additional options are available in GTS 7.2 but in GTS 7.1 and earlier you had to use the Seeburger converter tool to convert IDocs in the customs message format that is supported by the customs authorities in your country.
This format is typically not EDI. However, you're putting the buggy before the horse here.
Your first steps in installing this interface must be to contact the customs authorities in your country to find out what preprequisites you must fulfill for filing declarations electronically out of GTS. The person at Customs will be able to tell you how to apply for electronic filing and how the data must be transmitted. If GTS supports interfacing with the Customs system in your country then the re-formatting of the messages will happen by implementing the Seeburger conversion tool and map. However, in many countries you must also transfer the data to and from Customs in a safe and secure manner. In the US, Customs mandates that you must use a secure method, like, eg a value-added-network to transfer the data securely. This is not an SAP mandate but something the customs authorities require.

The true nature of logon type 3 (network logon) in logs?

I searched a lot before posting this question and I understood it's a "Network Logon". Fine to me. BUT:
-1- What is the true nature (meaning) of "Logon Type: 3" (Network Logon) you see in logs? What kind of operations do actually generate such log events? My first guess was: access to network shares. Maybe, but I see something like 90-95 percent
of such traffic from audit logs, 24 hours a day, even from machines that DO NOT offer disk/printer shares to the local network. So my guess is: (1) shares have nothing to do with it -OR- besides share services something else generates "Network Logon"
events in logs.
-2- is it normal to see Network Logon events constantly by the thousands over the 24 hours, even when people are not at their workstation?
Bear with me in case this was answered somewhere else and I simply missed it.

1) as far as I know, it is everything that uses the "Access this computer from a network" user right.
2)will all depend on the configuration and applications. For example, a DC will show a lot of these logon events, as will an IIS server with integrated authentication. Applications and services that communicate with other computers will definitely show up
in audit logs of remote hosts.

Its definitely Itunes not my ipod. Problem does not exist on a windows xp machine I plugged my ipod into.
I have created a new user on my vista machine and this has not worked. I am just about to uninstall quicktime and itunes and all other apple products from my machine to resinstall them (I will also do a registry clean after the uninstall) I'm getting really fed up with this. There must be a better way of sorting out this problem than this. What actually is causing the issue. Do apple have support guys on this forum?

Assigning a format to an output type while printing Hu label;s

I am trying to see if there is a way to attach a format type to a output type which we are using to print HU barcoded labels...
we have about 6 different formats one for a customer... so when we ar desigining an output type we need to figure how to append this format type to the custom Output type we are developing....
I have looked at the handling units... there is a method to a assign bar code profile and formk to an output type... i dont have anything that allows me to embed a format type into an output type.... please help

Is there any type of network compression for sql

I have a user trying to spool a select statement that is close to a 2 gig text file when its done..
the statement runs in 3 minutes when run on a sql client connected to a 1gig full duplex network..
but when connected to a 100Mb/half duplex network it takes 7 hours..
the obvious fix would be to upgrade the clients network.. but thats not my call.. and isn't going to happen..
I've offered to schedule it local, zip it, and send the zip.. but they don't want that..
is there any type of compression setting that could be specified..

Multiple document types per Network in Purchase Requisition stage

Hi,
PRs get created automatically whenever we attach the material component to an activity.Required Document type of PRs are maintained in transaction 'OPTT'.
My Client is using three document types for Imports, Material Procurement & Services Procurement respectively & he wants all the three document types to be mapped in Project System implementation.(All other modules have been implemented long back & now IM&PS modules are being implemented)
In transaction OPTT, only one entry is possible to maintain as Document Type. Can anybody share how to maintain three Document Types?

Let me clarify one thing that Tcode:OPTT is to specify purchasing item categories(account assignment categories) and a purchasing document type for purchase requisitions in the network, this is not the area where u create new document type.
1) u can create new document types in the IMG>Material Management >Purchasing > Purchase requisition>define document types. where in u have define the new document type with the allowed categories and link purchase requisition with the document types.
2) U have to link this document type to the PO document type.
3) Then go to the OPTT transaction maintain the account assignment categories for the new document type created.
