Masking the data in the Table

Hi,
Please help me in masking the data in few of the Oracle Apps base table columns data.
Example : I want to print xxxxxx for the Birth Date column from the per_all_people_f table If I query from the TOAD.
From Application using Form Personalization I am able to print xxxxx for the required fields.

output:

Here I want the deptname should not show its values its should hide the values and shoudl show xxxxx ..
As per your query(Sri) I should not create any view and use that view, but I have to use only the base tables like per_all_people_f ..Like select * from per_all_people_f ..
The sole idea or requirement is to hide the data in few columns even if we query base table with selct * from base tables

How to dynamically display the data from a table base on row selection of another table in ADF

I have a requirement in ADF. I need to change the data of a table based on row selection of another Table . Both the table have a Parent Child relationship between them. They have a common attribute say department_id.
                                                                                     For this I created bind variable in view object of employees table and wrote a where clause in the sql query using that bind variable. Then I created method for selection listener of department Table in java bean.
My method is following

It is printing the selected value of department id from department table in the log. But it is not able to pass the value to employees view. It is showing the following error in the log
"Definition DepartmentId of type Variable is not found in EmployeesView1."
I will be very thankful if someone helps me to solve this errror or is there any other way to achieve the same requirement.

Note quite sure why you simply wont create a viewlink for the viewobject the tables are based on..
The viewlink attribute will be based on the departmentId and it's a simple master detail relationship which automatically uses ppr.
However, if both tables are on the same page; using your hack about;
On the underlying viewobject, define a viewcriteria e.g. "listById" and set your bind variable here.
I would bind table two to a RichTable component:

COSB will show value by object number and need to pass the object number to PRPS table to find the corresponding WBS element and then pass the WBS element to VBAP table to find the corresponding SO line item.
Please let me know as Functional prospect what I have to do to bring this values in COSB table.

How can I select a radio button in a table regarding the data in the cells?

Hi everyone
This is the issue: I need to select the RadioButton which is in a table with data related to transfers in the cells next to it, so I need to select the correct radio regarding the data next to it.
This is the whole process: First I go to the Add Recurring Transfer section and select the parameters of the transfer (Accounts, date, amount, months etc), then with VB code I capture those parameters from the page and store them into Global variables for further usage on my E-tester script.
Right after that I need to select the radiobutton regarding the data of the transfer that I already created in order to delete it or modify it (Please see Attachment selectradio1.jpg)
So How can I move along the table and compare each cell with the variables that I created with the transfer information, so when I finish comparing a row cell by cell and if all the comparison match well in that row, I could select the radiobutton of the row.
Note: Second Attachment selectradio2.jpg shows the source code of the table...If you need more info please let me know

We have requirement to build OA page with the data needs to be populated from one table and on save data into another table.
For the above requirement what the best way to implement in OAF.

You can achieve this in many different ways, one is
1. Create another VO based on the EO which is based on the dest table.
2. At save, copy the contents of the source VO into the dest VO (see copy routine in dev guide).
3. commiting the transaction will push the data into the dest table on which the dest VO is based.

if by table you mean a DB table, then no, you can have a VO based on multiple EOs which will do DMLs accordingly.Thanks

Oracle supports different structures for data and indexes. A table can be a hash table or index organised table. It can have B+tree index. It can have bitmap indexes. It can be partitioned. Etc.
How the table implements its structure is a physical design consideration.
Application code should only deal with the logical data structure. How that data structure is physically implemented has no bearing on application. Does your application need to know what the indexes are and the names of the indexes,in order to use a table? Obviously not. Through the sharing context node between adobe interactive form and a WDA for ABAP, display the data of the sflight_node in the ADOBE.

The following is my action:
1.     Create a interface (Z_SFLIGHT_INTF) with a attribute node (SFLIGHT_NODE) that type is "sflight" using the transaction code "sfp"
2.     Create a form (Z_SFLIGHT_FORM) using the transaction code "sfp" with the interface Z_SFLIGHT_INTF.
3.     Trag the sflight_node in the Z_SFLIGHT_INTF to the form( Z_SFLIGHT_FORM).
4.     Open the layout tab in the form(Z_SFLIGHT_FORM), and create a table(table1). Click the table created just now, select the binding tab in the object tab, and in the Default Binding, select the SFLIGHT_NODE under the Z_SFLIGHT_FORM.
Problem 1:
Do you tell me whether is right for binding the context SFLIGHT_NODE using this way? If bind 3 context attributes in the sflight, how can I do it?
5.     Create a WDA for abap (ZZ_02_SFLIGHT), and create a view(MAINVIEW) using transaction code "se80" in the sap-gui with adobe interactive form. Set the templatesource(Z_SFLIGHT_FORM) in the adobe interactive form properties and saved, and then, datasource is "MAINVIEW_Z_SFLIGHT_FORM" automatically.
6.     But I only found the attribute SFLIGHT_NODE under the context node(Z_SFLIGHT_NODE), and I don't found the NODE ( SFLIGHT_NODE ) context in the context tab in the WDA for abap so that I don't set data to the context NODE (SFLIGHT_NODE).
Problem 2:
Do you tell me what can I do it so that I get the node SFLIGHT_NODE rather than attribute in the WDA for setting the data to the CONTEXT NODE (SFLIGHT_NODE)?

You can INSERT into both tables within one Transaction but not in one statement. By the way, you would need to alter your dbo.Test1 table to allow null for first INSERT test2_id column

I think the query should look more like this:
SELECT stocks.SYMBOL, stocks.EXCHANGE
FROM STOCK as stocks, ExchangeStream [Now] as datastream WHERE stocks.SYMBOL = datastream.SYMBOL

Here i am giving with an example.
Fileds: kunnr belnr from bseg. table bseg
fields: adrnr from kna1     table: kna1.
Know i want to put these into one internal table based on kunnr and belnr.
