Mass change documents in Inbox

Hi All,
Is it possible to Mass "Complete" of Mass change of "Status" for the documents in the Inbox.
Search all the documents based on the Prioirty is high and Choose all the documents at once and change the status to Inprocess.
Felt such feature should be provided in Inbox.

Unfortunately, currently the multi-select feature in the Interaction Center Agent Inbox can only be used in combintation with the "Forward" and the "Delete' buttons. It is not possible to use multi-select in combination with "Reserve", "Reset" or "Complete". See SAP Notes 1441898 and 1160042 for details.

Adding class to documents - Mass change

Hi all
I want to add a class to all existing documents of a certain document type, is there any tool for doing this?
Like CLMM transaction for changing values.
Have looked at the transaction CL24N but unfortunately it is only possible to paste in 10 new records at a time and there is no option to search for the documents like in CLMM or import from file. Or have I missed something?
Reason for doing this mass change is that we have assigned a class to a document type, now we need to change this class to another one.
Iu2019ve tried to change the class in DC10 to the new class, but then the additional data tab is empty when you display a document of that type in SAPGui (In EasyDMS however all values are visible).
But if we add the new class to all old documents and then deleting the old class everything seems to work OK. Too many documents to do this maneuver one by one, though.
Grateful for any help or ideas.

Hi Daniel,
Why don't you use dependency in this case.
You add new char to old class and use dependency Precondition .
This will serve the purpose.
This will work like this
Old class will have following char
Old Char
New Char 1
New Char 2
Now new Char 1 will have Value Yes and No
and New Char 2 will have a values which you want
If you want to use New Char 2 in certain doc types you have to select New Char 1 values as Yes then system will display New Char Val 2 so that user can enter values
Ex:
Old Class
Old Char:
New Char 1   : Yes
New char 2   : "This field is ready for input"
New Char 3 : "This field is ready for input"
New char 4   : "This field is ready for input"
New Char 5 : "This field is ready for input"
you want old values for certain doc types then select a value "No" (You can make this default) for New char 1 so that user can view only Old Char
Old Class
Old Char:
New Char 1   : No
New char 2   : "This char will be hidden for input"
New Char 3 : "This char will be hidden for input"
New char 4   : "This char will be hidden for input"
New Char 5 : "This char will be hidden for input"
This will reatin all your old char values for existing documents and from dependency you can choose new char values whenever you want

Mass change needed for document properties

Hello Techies,
My users want to upload large amounts of documents and want they also want to set the properties in bulk and not one by one. I have made some properties for these documents.
The problem is that the mass change report in the portal is not user friendly enough. They want to select a few documents and set them all to the same properties. Webdav does not support this either, nor does DAV explorer.
Other suggestions?

You might find that the Excel sheet as it is delivered fits your needs - you may also find that you need to modify it for your requirements.

Mass Change for Parked documents in FBL1N

Hi Friends,
Please help me on the following client requirement...
When the user wants to do the mass change (eg..payment block remove) for parked documents in FBL1N transaction, he is getting the error "Unable to change every document".
System Response
The items from the documents not changed are marked in red.
Procedure
You can display a change error log for each of these items (function in application toolbar). In the individual document change procedure you can check which fields are changeable and change the documents individually if necessary.

The error message is self explanatory.
You are trying to change fields which are not changeable. You view the change error log. Rectify the errors and try again.
Else you can try FBV2 to view list of documents and change individually.

MASS/MM17 don't create change documents in CDHDR/CDPOS?

Hello,
This has probably been answered before, but I've been unable to find it in OSS or on forum searches here.
When I use MASS with object type BUS1001 and make mass changes to materials, the changes are not recorded in CDHDR/CDPOS. Is there any way to fix this? These changes really should be recorded. SAP Version is 4.7.

The changes will be recorded in the CDHDR but there will not be any document number
to have doc number u have to activate the Eng change management
what ever u do in MASS will get recorded in CDHDR w/o number so check by date u made changes to material and u will see records

Mass Change fuctionality for Delivery Documents

Hi all,
I want to carry out a mass change for a field in the delivery document header.
I know the transaction MASS is not catering for that.
Is that any other standard transaction to do a mass change in the delivery document header level, other than do it through a LSMW?

Mass change in documents

hello all
I need to perform mass changes to some documents.
as LSMW does not perform well with the classic enjoy transactions such as CV02N, how can I do that?
specifically, I need to
1) change the descriptions in tab "descriptions"
2) set the deletion flag to the documents
3) attach a whole bunch of objects (Functional locations and Materials) to a specific doc.
any idea?

The above process of setting deletion flag through search results hold good only if you have DIRs of one DOC type, what if I have n number of DIR of different doc type.
I tried to use different combinations of search criteria, bt its nt working for me.
Please suggest if we can achieve this or do we need to set the deletion flag for each doc type individually ?

Mass change the ownership of the documents ! Thoughts?

I am looking for some information on how mass change of ownership can happen to following documents in Sourcing:
RFx
MA
Ex: Buyer A is the owner of the documents and he/she is no more with the organization. We would like to mass change the ownership of these documents.
My thoughts:
1. Create a report to pull the documents
2. Script to update the owner
3. Schedule a job, so the script can run and update all the documents.

We had same requirement , change the ownership of Master Agreements.
1. Create a report to pull the list for Agreements to be changed with below columns:
DISPLAY_NAME , CALC_METHOD, UNIQUE_DOC_NAME, DOC_TYPE,
STATUS, CURRENCY, VENDOR, CONTACT, LOCATION,
2. Create workbook for Master Agreements, above fields are mandatory for any Mass Change on MA's.
add DOC_OWNER_USER column to the work book
3. Import this work book to CLM/E-Souring.

URGENT : : "Unable to change every document" during mass changes in FBL3N

when i try to perform mass changes for GL accounts, there is a message stating "Unable to change every document". i am unable to process further.

FBL3n is the GL openitem display, in that open item and cleared item and all item check box there wht u want and select that check box excute it and spl gl check also there

Dear Gurus,
I want to do mass changes to billing doc for any unimportant field so that ouput gets triggered once again. How can i do mass changes to billing documents (10,000 in number)
I know mass outour issue through VF31 but that hasnt helped me.

Can you please be more specific as to what exactly you want to change ?? For information, during billing, in normal circumstances, we cannot make any changes excepting for quantity and that too based on your configuration settings.

Separate TCode for Mass Change of documents (For authorization purpose)

We have internal audit function where internal audit chief will remove the payment block of multiple vendor invoices through FBL1N --> Environment --> Mass Change.
Now problem is that authorization for FBL1N is given to 6 more employees (related to AP Accounting). Hence all these employees can do the mass change. I want to restrict this mass change authorization only to one person i.e. internal audit chief.
Please tell me how to bring this restriction.

You should contact your basis guy to do so...In tab authorization first you will have to find this object he system will display it , there you can assign 03 in place of *.
Personally i will recommend you should go for creating transaction variant using SHD0 which is an easy way to do so. Please check it will solve your issue. I just did both in test sever both of them are working perfect for me. Mass button is disabled when you set 03 for F_BKPF_KOA. SHD0 meets the subject topic of your post.

Mass download of documents attached to change documents

Hi to all,
we've been using ChaRM in Solution Manager for more than 6 months on my project and we've added a lot of documents (word and excel files) in change documents (SDMI, SDHF). I wonder if there is a way to download all files from the change documents programmatically or if a transaction codes exists for that.

As far as I know, documents attached to change documents are not accessible through SI80 (I didn't managed to find them). So i'm trying to create my own report to download documents from chosen solman transaction. Since i'm not an abap expert and Solution manager code is a little bit complex for me that could take time... I will let you know when/if I succeed.
If anyone else has an answer to that question...

in field Payment Method Supplement (BSEG-UZAWE) but when I click the mass chang icon

Some fields are not allowed for mass change in the standard transaction. But there is a consulting
SAP note explaining how to mass change additional fields. Please, check the solution part of SAP 640908.
To mass change additional fields in the standard SAP transaction you can use the explanation given in the note.

you need to make sure the field can be changed in FB02.
I presume you have a program for your mass change, however you need to check you config. There is config at line item and header level over the fields that you can change.
There have been numerous threads explaining how this is done if you dont know, use the search facility.
