Mass change of a header field in Opportunity

Hello experts,
This is a very urgent requirement. I need to mass update a header field in an opportunity.
I added the business object: BUS2000111 (Opportunity) to the table: MASSFUNC but dont know which Function Module name to be mentioned there.
Also, the field is a header field that needs to be updated. So, how do i get the field name and the table name under the MASS Transaction for Opportunity?

Outbound Plain HTML Adapter how to change the html-header field "host"?

Hello,
I'm using XI 3.0 SP11 and want to transmit a message to a business partner using the Plain HTML Adapter.
My problem is now that I need to change the default Html-Header field "host" because it seems that the adapter engine is converting it to lower case and is attaching the port-number which is causing trouble with the loadbalancer/applicationserver of our business partner.
I tried to set the appropriate http-header value in the communication channel configuration, but the adapter engine is ignoring this value.

Hi Sascha,
unfortunately the Plain HTTP adapter is not running in the J2EE, therefore you cannot extend the functionality with an adapter module.
I am not sure to understand the problem right. Why do you need to change the HTTP header? What is in it in your case and what should be?

Mass change for field Confirmation control Key in PO / SA

Dear All,
There is a need to do mass change in value for field Confirmation control Key in PO / SA. Some of them have PO history. If we have PO history system wont allow to change conf. ctrl key. Also since it is a production system we can not cancel previous po histories. This is in SAP 4.7 where we dont have mass change tcode for Scheduling agreements.
Can we maintain the values thru table entries. like using se16n maintain entries check box. This option is greyed out. can we activate that & do this requirement.

The confirmation control key can not be changed in the scheduling agreement if GR for item had already been posted. If the GRs can be canceled , it is possible to change the confirmation control in the SA item.
Version 4.7 do not support Mass change of scheduling agreements, hence you have to either create a SCAT or BDC to perform the task.

Contract Mass change enhancement in SRM 7.0

Hi Experts,
We are using SRM 7.0 & implementing new Contract mass change functionality for header P.Org. & P. Group data. I have created a Web Dynpro Component (with View similar to /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_AO_CT_MC_D), & implemeted a BADI /SAPSRM/CTR_MC_BADI & added an entry in Table BBPV_CTR_MASSOP.
After selecting the change method i am getting the error "View O_V_PURCH does not exist in the component YWDC_UI_AO_CTR". Actually, O_V_PURCH is an outbound plug of the WEb Dynpro Component. I am not sure why this eror is coming.
Could you please help me out in this. That will be a great help.
FYI - I am using Operational Contract Configuration document as reference.

Mass Change on FBL5N

Hi,
I need to do a mass change on a specific field for several document numbers shown on the customer line item
I go to this path: Tcode FBL5N > Environment > Mass change > New Values
Unfortunately, the field which I want to edit ( invoice reference field ) is not included in the list. Is there a way to do it?

If you want to perform the mass change in FBL5N with Invoice Reference field.
I think before you try with mass change you need to do the below changes in you setting
after executing the FBL5N select>Menue>Settings-->click on Soecial Fields
Here you have give or select BSEG-REBZG and save the settings (for this you should have the right or authorisatin or client modifyable authorisatoan then only you can do this settings)

Add fields to Sales Order Mass Change selection screen

Li & Fung customer customer needs to include following fields in the selection screen (Header Level) and the display output in Sales Order Mass Change (/AFS/MDC).
-     VBKD-BSTKD_E
-     VBKD-KDGRP
According to the SAP documentation we have done the configuration (Add details of custom fields) and implemented the BADI u2018/AFS/MDC_SELECT_CUSTOM_FIELDSu2019 with following methods.
-     /AFS/IF_EX_MDC_SEL_CUSTOM_FLDS~SELECT_HEADER
-     /AFS/IF_EX_MDC_SEL_CUSTOM_FLDS~SELECT_CUSTOM_DATA
Data selection part works perfectly, but if we do not enter any values in any custom field in the selection screen, then the BADI is not working. The output displays the columns without any value for the custom field. However, for VBKD-KDGRP is added as a custom field in the selection, but it already exists in the output display by standard, and it does display the value.
The system should display all custom fields values even if we did not input them as part of the selection screen
I would like to know if we have missed something, or is it the expected behavior of this enhancement, which seems to be inconsistent. Also please advise if there are any other methods available to solve this issue.

In My case, I have added custom fields to MDC change screen by using /AFS/MDC_CHANGE_CUSTOM_FIELDS but its not appearing in Grid list display. Would like to appreciate if you can Help me to achieve this.

Hi,
Need to use CS02 recording in such a way that you can change every item in a particular BOM.
e.g. First get into HEader Material BOM (CS02), once you've General Item Overview screen, do NOT directly go to item details of any item.... first click on tab-'Position', enter either Item Number or Component or both and then go to item details to change the relevancy indicator. Once changed for a particular item, save the BOM & come out of it. Then try for next item & so on....
Again this is my initial thought, you need to try out few recording options like this and then chose the most suitable one. Take help from ABAP expert if any available.
Off-course, initiallly it would take time to set-up LSMW but later on just need to create a data-file & do the mass changes.

I have a requirement to be able to make mass changes on the some of the sales order header fields such as user statuses etc. I know CRMD_SALES_MASS is available but this only takes care of item level changes.
I have actually found a Mass update header table and have added my fields in but dont know how to trigger it or what i a missing.

I think you can do the changes in the subroutine USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT in the include MV45AFZZ.
Create a include program inside the subroutine USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT and do the coding based on your requirement

i assign the new value for the order, but when finish the fuction, EXIT_SAPLCOZV_001, the new values are
lost, and finally the system set the standard order.

You can use the enchancement PPCO0007 (exit when the production order is saved).
Use the function module EXIT_SAPLCOZV_001 (User Exit for Checking or Changing Header Fields During Order Save) to update the field priority starting the information in the material-customer info record.

Mass change of certain fields thru list of equipments IE

Instead of writing LSMW, i am looking for mass change option for list of equipments available thru IE05 under Go To----> Carry out a mass change.
Its giving me a error message :

Diagnosis
An application log entry is to be made for object PM_MASS_TECH_OBJECTS. This object is, however, not maintained as an application log object.
Objects and subobjects of the application log are created using transaction SLG0.
System Response
The program had to be cancelled.
Procedure
Inform the system administrator.

Cretit control area field - Customer master - mass change

I want to use the customer master mass change program (T.code XD99) to assign a default credit control area for all the customers. However when i try to save the mass changes it does not update the credit control area, and shows an information message "0000500004 : No batch input data for screen SAPMF02D 0900" . Did anybody come across such situation ? and how to resolve this ?

Refer to note 552066, The system is attempting to maintain some ETM data that may not be relevant. May be this applies to you.
Symptom
During the start of the mass maintenance with Transaction XD99, the system generates batch input sessions for the import of the data in the background. In the process the system also tries to supply fields RF02D-D0900 and RF02D-D0910 on screen SAPMF02D 101 with data, although these fields do not exist on the screen. Then the batch input processing terminates.
Solution
The correction of the source code for the generation of the batch input data is described in the corresponding correction instruction. A solution that allows also the mass maintenance of ETM data with Transaction XD99 is in preparation.

Open field BSEG-UZAWE on mass change FI document

Some fields are not allowed for mass change in the standard transaction. But there is a consulting
SAP note explaining how to mass change additional fields. Please, check the solution part of SAP 640908.
To mass change additional fields in the standard SAP transaction you can use the explanation given in the note.

Problem with adding new field to the mass change screen in FBL5N

We have a problem with adding the field XREF3 to the mass change screen. We followed steps described in the SAP Note 640908, but the result is that when we try to mass change some documents in FBL5N and enter some values in the mass change screen, a message appears: "Please enter at least one new value" and nothing is changed.
If you have faced with such a problem, we would be grateful if you give us some tips.

Ztable field level Mass Change

Dear All,
According to our client business scenario we have created one Ztable to capture day to day activities.
Daily minimum 3000 records are getting saved. after some time user will change the single field value with some conditions. at a time he can change 10000 records also..now im using the syntax UPDATE ZTABLE FROM INTERNALTABLE.its working ...but i feel it may fail when no of records got increased.
so suggest me some options...if any one have idea about Mass change object creation for ztable please guide me to create

If you are changing too much data without a "commit work", then the redo buffers will be full at some point, leading to a short dump.
To be on the safe side update the database table in blocks of say 10,000 records and send a "commit work" after each block. The optimal block size varies depending on row length and system parameter settings. Just try around a bit.
