Mass change of BOM item and BOM item catergory

Hello Everyone,
I have a need to complete a mass change of a BOM item with another, usually I use transaction CS20,this works o.k. but this time I'm also changing the material with a new item catergory, for example a stock item with a phantom item.
Does anyone have an idea how to complete this task.

Thankyou very much for your reply.
I did try adding the new material using CS20 but all the BOM qty's are different and as you know you have to complete this field, so it would mean changing one at a time, I attacked this issue from a different angle and created an LSMW so I can Mass delete the parts but then use this program to change the BOM item to the new part.

Hi,
Need to use CS02 recording in such a way that you can change every item in a particular BOM.
e.g. First get into HEader Material BOM (CS02), once you've General Item Overview screen, do NOT directly go to item details of any item.... first click on tab-'Position', enter either Item Number or Component or both and then go to item details to change the relevancy indicator. Once changed for a particular item, save the BOM & come out of it. Then try for next item & so on....
Again this is my initial thought, you need to try out few recording options like this and then chose the most suitable one. Take help from ABAP expert if any available.
Off-course, initiallly it would take time to set-up LSMW but later on just need to create a data-file & do the mass changes.

Hi,
You can carryout the Mass changes of BOM using the Tcode : MASS.
Where you need to select the object type related to BOM and perform the mass change.
It can be done through CS20 and CEWB also.

but system is not allowing me to do the same , pl tell me where is GAP.

For ECR i have done the same and even that is Released and also Status with ECO. but still System is showing the same.
Mario one more thing i have written on SDN pl have a look on Followup material , i have read about your post MRP-MPN.
we are also having the scenario of alternate Material Within the Bom and also wnat to be correct the Procurement Proposal.
how it will be helpfull by the MPN-MRP Set function. i am also searching the same thing into Follow up Material . pl have a look on that.

Mass Change of Line item data in FBL5N

Hi,
While changing Payment method of a line item in FBL5N, the erros message "Payment Block is required" is populating, through user exit. However, the same error message is not being displayed when try to do mass change of payment method selecting morethan 1 line items.
Please help me in this reagdr and let me know what could be the reason

Hi,
1) when vendor invoice price higher than PO, although knowing that the price is incorrectly quoted by vendor, we need to change the amount in PO reference tab line item according to invoice? --- Yes you have to change it to Vemdor invoice amount
2) the difference in point 1 will hit stock account (map) or price difference. --- Yes
3) when vendor later on give CN, we need to do subsequent credit. -
Yes with ref to PO
4) in subsequent credit, need to create with reference to PO. -
Yes
5) we need to change the amount at PO reference item line according to CN? -- yes.
Other Option
You can use invoice reduction - System will create Inoice and credit memo in the same document.
SPRO Steeting require :
1. G/L account should be assigned to RKA trnsaction ket in OBYC.
2. Document type KG should be defined in Transaction code MIRO in customizing for doucment type invoice verification / Valuation in SPRO.
3. Number range should be defined for Doc type KG.

Mass change of pricing date and billing date in credit memo request

Hi,
Can i change the billing date pricing date on credit memo request docs using MASS transaction?
If i enter the regular sales order number it prompts me to change the value but if i enter the credit memo request doc number,the message "No data meets the selection criteria" is displayed.I also checked with IDES ,message is the same
Is there any different way to do mass change for credit memo requests or am i missing something here.

Hi,
Go to the transaction code MASS and enter the OBJECT TYPE as BUS2032 and enter
It will lead you to the next screen where you can find the Table and Field TABS
Select the SALES ORDER HEADER DATA and choose the fields data and choose the fields PRICING DATE and BILLING DATE and execute
In the subsequent screen you can see the selection screen where you can enter all the Sales documents for which you want to change
Key in all the documents and execute
Now change the date as per your requirement and check the effect

Mass change in BOM status to inactive

I want to change the status of BOM Alternate header to inactive. I want to do the same for some 1000 BOMs in one shot. Is there a way to do the same.

Hi,
Using discontinuation indicator also you can achieve this.
Need to define the simple discontinuation or parallel discontinuation. Need to define the follow up material also. By doing this automatically the system will replace the material.

BOM Change - Delete an item(s) and insert new line items

Hi,
We need to mass update BOMs like for some of the existing BOM's we need to delete some line items and insert new line items. We want to use the BOMMAT04 IDOC in LSMW but I'd like to know couple of things before I go ahead with that approach
For instance, I've a finished good material 12345678 and it has three components
                      a) Item 0010 Material 30101010 of quantity 10
                      b) Item 0020 Material 30101011 of quantity 11
                      C) Item 0030 Material 30101012 of quantity 12
Now, I'd like delete Item 0010 and add a new item 0040 Material 30101013 of quantity 13.
In the segment E1STKOM, there is LOEKZ (Deletion Flag) but I dont want to flag for deletion but instead delete the whole line item and add a new line item.
Is there any way to achieve this using BOMMAT04 IDOC? If not, can you please suggest me a better way to do it

Dear Srinivas,
1.IF you want to change for an individual BOM,use CS02,select the item which you want to delete,select the entire and click on
delete button and then add new line items and save.
2.For Mass changes of BOM you can use CS20.
3.Check these functional module's also if you want to change using a report,
CS_BI_BOM_CHANGE_BATCH_INPUT   Change bill of material via batch input
CSEP_MAT_BOM_SELECT_CHANGE     API Bills of Material: Select BOM(s)
CS_CL_P_BOM_MASS_CHANGE

Material BOM mass change error

Hi gurus,
When doing mass change of BOM via tcode CS20, i'm getting below error result.
The following messages were displayed:
Material BOM 00016478 : Delete Item(s)
   19760                                  STM-220-(20UP)78DZ*C06U029(XC06U029)Sn 200
   0130 L 01/01/2002 12/31/9999              1.00 PC     >               1.00 PC
   No batch input data for screen SAPLSDDT 0010
   Folder created/extended
I wonder what does "No batch input data for screen SAPLSDDT 0010" mean? what should i do to correct this?
I also noticed that all items on the picklist were grayed out though i can still click on the checkbox button to select the items that I want to be deleted.
Has anyone encountered this problem? I usually use CS20 during BOM mass change and haven't encountered this kind of problem.
Hope to hear advise from you all on how to deal with this.

Control authorization of mass change functionality via PCUI

Hi,
We are having the following issues with the Opportunity iview, com.sap.pct.crm.opp.opportunities_s.(Business package for CRM 5.0 and contains functionality CRMD_BUS2000111).
Once the user clicks Go..he has the list of Opportunities. He can select some or select all and use "Mass Change".
We would like to control the functionality of "Mass Change" attribute in the backend CRM System so that only a few people can be authorized to do this. However we are not able to find any CRM authorization
object that controls the mass change activity for opportunities and pursuits in the backend CRM System.
What is the backend CRM Authorization object that controls this functionality in the backend CRM System ?

In IW38/IW3N we added our own Mass-Change button (in addition to the standard option) via Enhancement Spot ES_EAM_LIST_ENHANCEMENTS_EXT. This was required to perform functions that don't exist in the standard mass-change function e.g. mass-add/delete operations, mass-un-TECO, mass-un-CLSD, etc.
This Enhancement Spot may work for IE05 too.

Mass change email by FK02/LSMW

Hi Experts,
I'd like to mass change the email address and Standard communication method in vendor master data by LSMW. But when I tried to record, the two fields are not found. I can change them directly by FK02.
I suppose it's because the two fields are not in table LFA1. Then how can I change them by batch input?

When you are doing the recording for FK02 or XK02
Try to check
Address Check box
USE CENTRAL ADDRESS MANAGEMENT (if you do not check this check box, your email address and standard communication method will not be available)

Mass change of Production orders operations in ECC 6.0 using COOIS

Dear experts,
Kindly Suggest a way to mass change of direct operations and components overview screen of production orders in ECC6.0
using COOIS transaction code which was available in SAP 4.7 using environment >change order> operations or components once we execute the COOIS with certain input parameters in the out put screen,this function seems to be not available in ECC 6.0 , if available kindly guide me or any alternative way to perform the same.

You have that button "Change Order" you can just click on it and once you're in the change mode of the order click "Component Overview" button , it's the same number of clicks...
Anyway, SAP has changed the entire ALV for all the transaction codes using PPIO_ENTRY (COOIS, CO26, CO27, CO28 et al)

if you really want your old GUI status. there is a way to get it back. In SE38 enter the program name PPIO_ENTRY and select variants and click display. Once you're in variants screen enter variant name and click create and select all "screens" check box and then it will take you the selection screen in there check the box "Old ALV Display" in the Technical settings sub screen. (If you want you can choose other functions also like "Selection List" as PPIOM000 Always display components directly etc. if you want ) Click on "Next Screen" button and it will show "Attributes" button then click on the attributes button and save it.
Now go to SE93, make a copy of transaction COOIS to ZOOIS and in the variant field enter the variant you just created. The new transaction will always start with the variant you just created and it will look like your old COOIS with Environment > Change Order > Components will be visible.

MM17 mass change

Hi Experts,
I was doing Mass change in MM17 for Profit Center value. Old value need to change with new value.
I followed the below process:
1.Go to transation MM17
2.Select Variant name for Mass Change
3.Select MARA/MARC in the tab Tables & Execute
4.Input the materials & plants which under goes changes & Execute.
5.You will get two section of screens.In the top you can see New values with empty field.you can give the new value for Mass change. In the bottom you get the details of existing field for material/plant combination.
6.Click the icon called 'Carry out mass changes'.
7.Save and check the log for any errors.
The value of Profit center was changed & I checked in CDHDR & CDPOS tables.
Can any one of you give me the flow or tell the above process is correct.
