Mass change of telephone extension within SU01

Hi!
We would like to change for alls the users within SU01 the telephone extension within tcode SU01.
Unfortunately the tcode SU10 does not have the option to mass change the telephone extension.
Is there some possibilities to do this via BADI/user exit?
The appropriate data element I guess is AD_TLXTNS1.
Any helpful informataion will be very appreciated

Mass change on vendor open item.

Hi
We have a requirement to change the payment terms for all vendor open items to 60 days, to do mass change i selected few open documents and click on enviornment and mass change and new values but here payment terms field is not there.
I thought i need to add to the line layout under special fields then i did that even then payment terms are not showing under mass change > new values field under environment but showing as line layout.
Is there a way to solve this as we may have more than 100,000 open documents for all vendors within the company code.
Will assign good points.

Hi
there is no need of payment term to be changed.
If the Payment term is Payable immediately Due net or Blank in the Open Item, simply change the Base Line date for each open item,give date as of 60th day.then system will pick those line items only after 60 days.
Go for LSMW or BDC to Update the field in those line items.

System audit trail for FBL5N and Mass Change use

Hello,
My client carried out the foll actions yesterday.
Called TCode FBL5N using a range of customers
When the line items were displayed, they selected some of them and then went into Environment - Mass Change - New Values
Here they input a new value to the Dunning Block field.
Then they saved it and came out.
Later they realized that they should not have made the changes to some of the records. Unfortunately, now they dont remember either the customer range for which they had run FBL5N or the line items which they had changed.
So, the question is: is there any way by studying the audit trail or system history, one can find out which are the documents/line items that were changed yesterday within a specific time frame using TCode FBL5N and then Mass Change?
Please see if you can provide some input.

Organizer File Name Mass Change - Manual Rearrange Capability?

I used to use Bridge 6 to mass change file names. I could drag files into desired rearranged locations and then rename the batch in any order I wanted. Elements Organizer does not seem to have that capability. Am I missing a simple trick or did this program go backwards in capability? I bought Photoshop Element 12 ONLY for the Organizer!!!!

I'll be short. The Organizer is not for you. Or you are not for the organizer. It's a pity you did not use the trial version to check this before buying the software.

You asked about 'compatibility'. With the above features, the organizer can move, rename, delete files or folders. It can 'write metadata to files', which is not only to keep the keywords, ratings, captions, notes in its database, but also to write them in the files themselves, so that Bridge, or explorer or finder can read them. It can hold many other information like stacks, albums or version sets. But Bridge and the explorer/finder are not compatible to receive such advanced information.

Bapi for Mass change of Purchasing Lead Time

Could you please suggest whether is there any BAPI to perform mass change of
purchasing Lead Time within the material master.
The field is Planned delivery time(marc-plifz) in MRP2. The changed value should reflect to all the Material numbers in the selection screen.

From ECC 6.0, SAP has got the functionality of Mass cahnge of contract,
using the tcode MEMASSCONTRACT. from which u can maintain it.

- Activate SAP ECC Extensions
Then select 'Enterprise AddOns' tab.
You can check the current status to see if it is off or on.
If off then check with your Basis people about activating it. Note 855959 and additional notes listed in note 877008 provide some more information on these switches.

Automatic Firmed Planned Order / Mass Change Planned Order

Hi PP Gurus,
My requirement is I want to make all planned order created from planning run will be automatically firmed. I tried several option :
1. MRP type : P1, automatic create firmed planned order within planning time fence but for new requirement, planned order will be created after planning time fence date. Example planning time fence date lies on 20/10/2011
PIR
09/2011     3 pc
10/2011     4 pc
end of planning time fence date
11/2011     5 pc
run MRP
Planned order firmed for month 9 and 10. for 11 is not firmed. But the problem is if PIR on month 10 is change from 4 to 6. the other 2 planned order will be created at end of planning time fence date.
Is it possible for planned order created at appropriate date as requirement date ???
2. Mass Change of Planned Order
I browse the help SAP there is function module : MD_SET_ACTION_PLAF for mass changes of planned orders.

I execute it with SE37 but i don't know what should i do with this function module after the next screen.
In my mind, there will be selection screen for choosing which planned order will be perform firmed action.

Use T.Code MD19 for firming the planned orders,also check MDBA for firming the planned order.

Mass change of object catalog entries

Hi All,
Here is an issue where I need your help:
I have a transport from another system with ~100 objects and I need to change their original systems.
I started it with "SE03 -> Change Object Directory Entries of Objects in a Request", but it takes too much time (double click -> change -> save) * 100...
Is there transaction where I can change these objects' original systems within one step?

it's a long time since the original question, but since this has been posted in SDN so many times : how to mass change a package or original system in SE03 (SE03 / report RSWBO051/RSWBO052). The solution is to select the objects you want and enter MASS in the OK-code.

IDOC Mass Change

Hi All,
We have a number of unposted inbound Idocs in our system. These inbound Idocs are not posted due to mention of incorrect cost center in the Idocs.
I just want to know how can we change the cost center number in incoming idocs. Is there any option available to mass change idocs..?? I mean, can we change the cost center number in all the idocs in one go..??

Hi Ravi,
I know this answer is way too late and the issue that you encountered already taken care of. However this is an ongoing issue for many folks who deal with IDOCs, so here is my attempt to provide an answer:
There are few choices to take care of this issue:
1. Ask the source to resend the inbound file.
2. Make change at Middle-ware level and resend the file.
3. Make changes to the IDOC within SAP system.
Option 1 and 2 may not be possible due to various reasons. So option 3 is most viable option. With standard SAP tool-sets, mass update of IDOCs not possible. You can edit one IDOC at a time which would be very time consuming.
To help in this area as well as in many other areas within IDOC MANAGEMENT, there is a custom SAP product, Error Message Manager - EMM, out there. This product provides Single Editing, IDOC Analysis, Monitoring, Mass Editing, Mass Status change, Mass delete, and a number of other user friendly features.

User license mass change

We need to classify many of our users in many systems as multi-client.
If you do an individual SU01 change on the license tab then multi-client is an option on the drop down.
However if you do a mass change (SU10) the multi-client is not on the drop down!
The same problem applies if we try to do a mass change with the system measurement transaction USMM i.e. multi-system is not on the contractual user type drop down.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to find out where the SU01/SU10/USMM contractual user dropdowns are controlled?

You will need to look at the config of the IO group to see which fields can be changed.
Make sure the relevant fields can be changed.
Then perform a LSMW on the change IO Master
This will allow you to perfrom a mass change on the IO.

BDC Fixed Assets mass change

Hi Everybody!
I would like to enquire about how to edit a recording for a specific transaction.
I need to make a mass change for hundreds of fixed assets ( e.g. cost center / responsible cost center ) in SAP. In our old system version we had a t-code for this mass change called ZAMASS01. Point is, I cannot use it in the new SAP version so I have to upload this data via BDC manually,
I have tried to record the transaction ( AS02 ) in SHDB but after I saved the recording and tried to Edit it.
Apparently I do not have access for further actions. All I did was to export the .txt file but it's useless.
Can someone help me generate the BDC file?

In Oracle FA Descriptive flexfield information will be copied only if assets are being reclassified within the same major category. The descriptive flexfields should be set up with the same segments in both the old and the new category. Otherwise, descriptive flexfield information in the old category may be copied incorrectly into an incorrect segment in the new category. If a segment in the old category and a corresponding segment in the new category have different formats (for example, segment 1 in the old category is alphanumeric and segment 1 in the new category is in date format), the information will be copied, but you will need to correct the descriptive information in that segment.

Mass changes of BOM with ECM

but system is not allowing me to do the same , pl tell me where is GAP.

For ECR i have done the same and even that is Released and also Status with ECO. but still System is showing the same.
Mario one more thing i have written on SDN pl have a look on Followup material , i have read about your post MRP-MPN.
we are also having the scenario of alternate Material Within the Bom and also wnat to be correct the Procurement Proposal.
how it will be helpfull by the MPN-MRP Set function. i am also searching the same thing into Follow up Material . pl have a look on that.

Mass change of pricing date in contract VA41

Mass change of pricing date in contract VA41
In VK11 - we have updated a new pricing date.
In contract the same needs to be updated. Can this be done through VA45 -( List of contracts) Edit - Mass change - new price - which price type should i give to change the pricing date. Where should i mention the new pricing date?
or is there any other way to get the latest pricing date from vk11 to contract va42.

As i understood from your question, You have changed the Validity periods in your VK11 records.
Since your contract Line Item Pricing date is already set (Line Item Sales A tab), you will not be able to pick the relevant pricing by UPDATE PRICE option in condition tab. (Because price is picked based on the pricing date in the line item)
Try this method;
Use transaction MASS, to update all Pricing Dates in contract line items to a particular date within new validity period.
Once you update your pricing date in the contract line item, system will automatically carry's the new pricing, resulting new pricing in the line item.

User roles were deleted for the mass change in CUA system.

Dear Team,
I have assigned a role to a set of users in CUA via SU10 to a specific child system, as like I have executed the task 3 to 4 times for the assignment of the different roles to a set of users and some users may repeated in each execution .
And when I check in child system after few hours the old roles were deleted and contains the role which I have assigned in the mass change.
It was happened only to few users not more than 20 users, then I expected that may be the users who get repeated in SU10 more than one time for the different role assignment it get impacted.
But that is not a problem, because I verified some of the users who repeated more than one time in child system and they didnu2019t get deleted the old roles and it was appended with the new role to the existing rights of the user.
Still some of the IDOC were showing in SCUL transaction with Yellow signal triangle shape
So please help me out what would be the issue.

Hi,
It is a problem related to IDOC issue. Please contact Basis Team regarding pushing of the Idocs. I am giving an over view of the steps that needs to be executed for idoc push. Please contact Basis with the same.
Run RBDAGAIN report (se38)
Give Idocs and save as variant.
Now go to sm36 specify a job name and start.
This will change the Idoc status from 02 to 30. For 03 to 30 it needs a different report. Please check and let me know if any issue. As long as idocs are not pushed properly it will give an error. At times also check the CUA user is ok or not. It gets locked at times. To know which one is the CUA user->Login to child system->su01->See the change executed by the user->Get the user name.

RVAT mass change

Hello! Help please...
Only some items have got RVAT record in pnsc_price_cost_hist table for the Retail VAT mass change
Have created a VAT rate change (for Cost and Retail) for items under dept = 1010/1060 and class = 1 which has 324 items totally.
however, by looking at the pnsc_price_cost_hist table, the number of records for each location is different. It seems that pos_mods can't be generated correctly base on the VAT change.
