Where did you see the expression?
You can create PCD content from XML. Maybe this is what was meant.

Problem with 661FM-L Running Content Creation

I've been trying to run a session of Content Creation 2003 on this board all day. It continues to error out with the following error
Winstone 2003 Timeout
Please close the Premier application and then press OK.
According to their web site it's a problem with the nVidia driver. However, the stated problem is two years old and the driver they recommend is badly outdated. I initially saw this error with the MSI MX4000 video card installed, then I removed that and now I'm running it with the embedded video only.
Still getting the message.
Any thoughts?

Mass users creation in BI

Dear experts,
I would like to create users in BI massively.
Could I do a mass upload from a flat file such as using USERS_GEN in others system? What are the available options?
In fact, I have all my users created in SRM.
How can I do to have them created in BI as well? Any synchronization tools?
Please note that we are not going to use CUA.

In your script, you need to edit the part where you select Dialog user type and replace it with User Type = A
You may need to re-record your script but this is what is causing the problem. It is expecting the single character, not the word Dialog. It's just a "feature" of CATTS/eCATTS

It is very easy to create the LSMW structure for the Vendor load, First thing you have to do is to get all the fields that the business wants to be inputed when you are XK01. Than create a LSMW recording and assign the recording to the structure.
I can guide you with the creation. I do have a PDF for LSMW which will be very helpful for guidance, But how do i share?

How do you mean 'in mass'? Do you want 2000 identical copies of one role, are you talking about derived roles or do you need to create 2000 completely different roles?
Please give us some more information. (And prepare for the fact that some tasks do not have shortcuts...)

Mass PST creation

What is the best mass PST creation tool? We are (unfortunately)
migrating to Exchange 2007 and want to migrate existing e-mails to PST
files. We don't plan on migrating the messages into the new Exchange
system but need to create PST's for hundreds of users.

Looks like extended logging is turned on.
This is controlled by a parameter of the cocurrent program or the pay_action_parameters table (setting logging)

Delete the pending transactions failinvia automatic Mass Appraisal creation

Hi all,I have appraisals not appearing in the Managers list.This appraisal is due om 01-May-2012.When I saw the reason ,I find the Mass Appraisal creation did not run.The reason being there were pending transactions.Our Appraisals are set for automatic run. The parameter to delete is Yes.I increased the MAX errors to 100000 but still I get error.Please suggest what to do?Is there a script or API which I can use to delete these pending transactions?

Make sure the appraisals section of the plan is set to 'employee initiates'. Otherwise the manager has to initiate.
If that is set OK, I have seen problems before with the 'backout' option on generate appraisals. Check MetaLink because I think a fix was produced for it.

Are there any methodologies/best practices available for creation of pages like My Yahoo.
Basically, display of page depends on sections chosen by the user for display and inside those sections content is also what is chosen by the user. Page is different for different users based on their options.
Are there any methodologies/best practices available for this kind of work using JSP.

If your ISP don't support JSP / Servlets,
1.use any server side technolgy, something like ASP.
2.Read the files and transform them as Strings (or StringBuffers).
3.Pass these Strings as parameters to the applet (if you are forced to use java technology, otherwise you can do it using ASP itself).
4.Construct the required format (content) in your applet.
Don't forget that the stuff will be in applet but not a complete web page. The ideal solution is asking your ISP to provide JSP engine.

Mass BP creation of category Corp account

I have to create mass BP - role "Prospect " from an excel along with the Contact person and the Employee responsible.
Do i need to create mass BP-Prospect first and then create mass BP- role "Contact person"?
1. If it is so how to link the BP-prospect and BP-contact?
2. How to link the employee responsible to the BP-Prsopect? all the employees are available in CRM with id EM001*****.
or Which is the best way to create mass BP's shall I use any BDC / LSMW / BAPI / ELM ?

Hi K,
You can use ELM for the same. In ELM , you can create BPs and link them with the contact person as well.
In ELM , you can create BP in two role general and consumer, but there is also a note availble for Prospect, so u can use that note and create mass BPs in prospect role as well.
In ELM BP creation mapping format , there are two variables present for contact.

Lillte , different scenario !
There is a scenario in which I would like users to create Iviews / collaboration rooms. Even though, it's going to be a limited set of users, I need to have a workflow for the same.
At the end of the workflow, the content admin can pubhish this iview.
Would this be possible with some kind of workaround .. may be using guided procedure ?

If your workflow isn't too complex, do the following:
Write some "page creation iView". This iView will use the pcd API to create the relevant iViews and puts them onto pages. It also sets the enduser flag in the properties to 'off'. If a new iView is created, the "page creation iView" sends a mail to admin. Use Java Mail for this job.

I have a task of creating the printers over 900, Please assist me if there is any way to create the printers at once e.g by importing from excel sheet or from template. or any other task. I need urgent solution because I have to deliver the printers to customer after 12 hrs.

If you have those printers already in SAP then you can
1). You can do transport all
2). You can export and Import....
To EXPORT all output devices:
1. Run transaction SPAD.
2. Select Utilities -> for output devices -> Export devices.
3. Enter a filename.
4. Choose Frontend computer under File sytem info.
4. Choose Export under Operation.
5. Check Execute export under Options.
6. Enter * in Output Device under Objects for export.
7. Click Execute.
To IMPORT all output devices:
1. Repeat the steps above but choose Import and Execute import under Operation and Options respectively.
The text file generated by the export looks like this:
VERSION = "0.1" TIME = "20050727110101" SYSTEM = "DEV" RELEASE = "620" * DEVICE = { NAME = "ariel" PADEST = "ARIE" PATYPE = "HPLJ4" PAMODEL
If the printers are not existing in SAP, then

/IRM/IPPR21 Mass Rebate Creation

Hello!
I'm looking for some advice on how to handle our situation. Several agreements were recently loaded in that apply for the 2010 year. We need to do a mass creation of vendor rebates from the agreements that were loaded in. The only option we know of now is /IRM/IPPR21 which is taking forever to run and times out on us, etc.
Are there any other options for doing a mass creation of vendor rebates?
