Mass delete form database or using the SET statement
Hi
I i need to update in a custom table on the database ( it's only one column)
Which is more performance doing a mass update that is
Update datab from itab
or usgin update datab set xxx where xxx = xxx ( this will be found in a loop)
note that i still need to do loop to enqeue the data

<li>Get the data to itab(type dbtable) and loop the itab table and change the column and after LOOP-ENDLOOP use above statement instead of hitting database for every loop.

Using the Set Session Info to populate Custom Variable
Hey everybody, I'm trying to setup a Set Session Info step so when a caller presses 1 for instance to go to a specific department I can go into the database and see how many callers pressed a certain button.
Here's what I've done so far, I've setup a Session called session_info with the value of null. At the very beginning of the script it shows session_info = Get Contact Info --Triggering Contact--, Session)
Then in the menu field when a caller presses 1 I have the Set Session Info step with the Session being session_info and then in the Context tab I have "_ccdrVar3" for the name and "1" for the value.
The script doesn't fail it's just not populating any Custom Variable with any data.
Also I've tried using the Set Enterprise Call Info and using a value of 1 and then Call.PeripheralVariable3 for the name. Not sure what the proper way to do this is. Anybody have any ideas?Hi
You don't need a session var.
You just need to use 'set enterprise data' to set a call.peripheralvariable to what you like.
The data goes straight into the contactcalldetail table.. You can check it by doing:
run uccx sql db_cra select * from contactcalldetail where customvariableX = 'yoursetting'
Where 'yoursetting' is what you set the ent data to, and customvariableX is the var you use (e.g. customvariable3 if you use call.peripheralvariable3)

we use use set functions on heirarchies with aggregate functions mostly .
If you include member_set, Min returns the minimum value of the aggregated data for all members in the member set.
Member_set can include multiple sets separated by semicolons (;).
The list of member sets must be enclosed in {}.
If the member set expression does not specify a precise member or node, the hierarchy referenced must be present in the table, then the member set expression references the current member in the hierarchy in the table. If the hierarchy is not in the table, the function returns the message #MULTIVALUE.
Eg .
1) Ancestor
=Sum([YTD] ; {Ancestor([Test Hierarchy];2)})
2) IsLeaf
=[Test Hierarchy].IsLeaf
You can use this function when you want to show your Measure only at lower level .
3) .Depth
=[Test Hierarchy].Depth
This is also function used with hierarchy to find Level of Members .

If you select that right-click context menu entry then you block all images from that domain and not one specific image, so do not use that.

You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
* Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
* Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.

* Go to the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
* Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.

i tried using the setting icon to reset the prints and icon to a bigger size, thereafter the setting icon lost color to gray and stopped responding.? most of the pop up boxes will also not respond why?
Thanks Winston, restarting my router worked for me too. Seems that somehow the DCHP (maybe due to the Mountain Lion upgrade?) had assigned the same IP address to both the AppleTV and my iMac. The AppleTV stopped appearing as an AirPlay device for my iPhone and Mac, but still the AppleTV had Internet access.
Restarting the router reassigned IPs and without fanfare, the AppleTV is now available to AirPlay. -

I have recently installed Elements 13 having used Elements 11.0 successfully to build a database of 30,000 plus images indexed by place, people, and photo date. Elements 11 allowed me to add new places which are meaningful to me but which are a complete mystery to the mapping technology of Elements 13. For example some years ago I lived in London in a road called Argyle Road. In elements 11 I could enter the place tag as Argyle Road. In Elements 13 I am required to locate Argyle Road on the map, but the map presupposes that the Argyle Road I am referring to is in Ealing in West London. It is not!
I now live in a place called Broadsands but the Elements 13 Map places this 0.5 miles away from what I would describe as Broadsands.
So the question: how can I add a new place tag to my database without using the wretched and totally inadequate map technology that Elements 13 wants to impose.Thank you for your quick response, BalusC. I really appreciate your answer.
Yes, you are right. If I manually code the same amount of those components in the JSF pages instead of generating them dynamically, the server will still run out of memory. That is to say, JSF pages might not accommodate a great deal of concurrent visiting. If I upgrade the server to just allow 1,000 teachers making their own test papers at the same time, but when over 2,000 students take the same questionnaire simultaneously, the server will need another upgrading. So I have to do what you have told me, using JS+DOM instead of upgrading the server endlessly.

I'm not quite sure what you want - if you want an overview of all open windows, use the F key.. Otherwise please post back and be more specific.

Using the Insert statement in a Java program without hardcoding the data

this is james mcfadden. i have developed a program called Demo.java, which is used with another program called QueryTableModel.java (a program that allows data to be viewed in a JTable). The Demo.java program displays a menu, connects to a database, allows the user to add data into the database and allows the user to view data that is already in the database. I have a problem with the Demo.java program. I have hardcoded the Insert statement in it. How do you use the Insert statement to put data into a database without hardcoding the data?

I have tried to combine these 2 into one query using a case statement but don't get the results I need.
