  • How do you easily "mass" delete mail in iOS 7

I have 2,100 unread messages since updating to iOS 7. How do I easily mass-delete the unread messages?

Not that i am aware of. In order to delete you have to click edit button on your top right and choose one by one.
Or you can try this, click edit on your top right and click mark all on your lower left, mark everything as read, if you don't have that, mark everything as in read and mark it as read.
    Good luck.

  • Delete unwanted PO messages

    Hi All,
I have a  where we have PO message that have been generated with time 1 (send with schedulded job). RSNAST00 has never been scheduled and as such we have unprocessed message going back several years.
I now want to schedule RSNAST00 but I don't want all the old messages to print.
Is there a way of doing a mass delete of these messages? there are over 25,000 so manually isn't an option.
    Cheers
    Chris

    Hi,
Check whether the program RSCLNAST can be used.
You can enter the selection criteria like creation date, output type and transmission medium.
First you can make a test run and then if results are ok, then you can delete the records. I never tried this program, so I suggest you run the simulation mode.
My other suggestion would be, you can put the query in ABAP forum. You may get any other function module name, which can help to delete the output recrods from NAST table.

  • Mass Delete SMS Messages in iOS4

I am a sysadmin and I get TONS of SMS messages and I need to purge them on a regular basis to keep sane.
In the past, I had been using PhoneView to mass delete SMS messages from my iPhone, but Apple has apparently changed how the SMS messages are managed and PhoneView has permanently discontinued this functionality.
Is anyone aware of any products or methods for mass deleting SMS messages in iOS4?

Same problem here. I have over 1000 msgs that need deleting. Been waiting years for this "obvious" feature. I can't believe they didn't fix this in iOS4. So, love to hear if there's an app for that.

  • Deletion of Parked Invoices - Mass deletion

Can any one please guide the T.code for the Mass deletion of parked IRs.
    With regards,
    Gokul.

Mass Archived/Deletion of Parked Invoice Document:
    T.code : MRA2 -Delete Documents/Archiving Invoice
You can excute the standard program for invoice deletetion RM08RADE  the invoice documents from Invoice Verification that were archived with program RM08RARC (object MM_REBEL) from the database. Also this will execute in Test mode But its Records are deleted from the following tables:
    RBKP: Document Header: Invoice Receipt
    RBTX: Taxes: Incoming Invoice
    RSEG: Document Item: Incoming Invoice
    RBCO: Account Assignments
RBWS: Withholding Tax Data, Incoming Invoice
KONV: Conditions in the Incoming Invoice
    NAST: Message Status
RBVS: Splitting the Vendor Line Item
    CDHDR/CDPOS: Change Documents
    Prerequisites :
Documents that have reached the end of the retention period set in Customizing. For the retention period, the posting date in the invoice document header is relevant. If no retention period is set in Customizing, the system uses 9999 days as the minimum retention period.
    Procedure
    1. If the program is only for testing purposes, that is you do not want it to actually delete any data, select the option Test run.
The variant entered in the Archive Customizing (Environment -> Customizing) under Settings for the deletion program in the field Test run variant, is used in this case.
(If the test run option is not flagged, then the system will use the variant which is specified in  Archive Customizing in the field Productive run variant.)
    2. Specify which data should be deleted with the pushbutton Archive selection.
    3. Specify when the job should run with the pushbutton Start time.

    Hi all,
This thread says its answered. But, the solution is not given. I request the threads starter to kindly put up the solution as I am facing the same problem.
I don't have this problem in Quality or Development, but only in Production. Also there is no version change in the program of the MASS transaction in any of the three systems.
Also, will the thread starter post what error message he got on running xk06 for the concerned vendor and purchasing organization?
    Thanks!

  • Mass-deletion of PR-items

    Hello gurus,
I would like to delete up to 5000 purchase request items (i.e. set the deletion flag, EBAN-LOEKZ).
Unfortunatelly this is not possible using MEMASSRQ.
In another forum I found a message saying the deletion cannot be set using MEMASSRQ because there was no check wether a PO item was created for that PR item. So setting the deletion flag would lead to an inconsitency. This made sense to me, until I found out that it IS possible to set the deletion flag for PO items using MEMASSPO!
So, does anyone have an idea on how to do this without having to manually edit every singe PR?
    Thanks in advance
    Alicia

    Hi Alicia
It's not possible to use EBAN-LOEKZ in the mass maintenance transaction. The MASS transactions simply update the tables EBAN, EKKO, EKPO,... without proofing things. Behind setting the deletion flag LOEKZ functionality exists. Not all requisitions or purchase orders can be deleted, if references exists. So it is not possible to set the deletion flags by MASS.
A possible workaround would be to create your own ABAP report to perform the mass deletion on your requisitions but this would not be supported by SAP in regard to data integrity issues etc.
    Best Regards

  • MASS, MM42(ALE) - error messages

I am updating MARA-LABOR for a number of articles in MASS.  There are messages posted in the application log than pertain to checking tables and fields other than the one I have selected for update and related to sites that I do not have access to update.
I am wondering why the program is checking the site data related to the article (tables MARC, MBEW, WLK2 for example) when the table I am trying to update is not site specific.
I know that I can update the authorization profile to clean up the hard error I am getting but I would like to understand why the check is being made. I believe this has to do with ALE Master data distribution configuration but I am not sure.
    Thank you.
    L

There are some function modules like "KYVA_REPORT_VARIANTS_DELETE” or get user variants "RM_GET_VARIANTS_4_REPORT_USER".
    - is there any transaction in SAP, which delete the mass variants for reports for all users?
2- I am getting an error “An Idoc without a message type was passed to the ALE layer”.
I have already check file port is set up correctly and I am passing message type “HROT_BRM”.
This also happen in previous test, as user does not have the proper authorization, so I assign the authorization and ran it. It worked.
However, this time a user has the authorization and still the error messaging is coming. Am I missing something?

LANE (Product) : Product X does not exist in source location Y

  • Mass Delete of BDocs in SAP CRM system

    Dear SDC team,
We like to hard delete some BDocs which are hanging in the txn SMW01 in CRM 5.2 system.
As of now we do not see a option to delete these unnecessary BDocs,  as they are in Intermediate state (I04) .
Please tell us if there any standard report which can be used to do Mass Delete of BDocs in SAP CRM system.
Or Is there any Tables which need to be emptied .
Please help ..Points would be rewarded .
    Regards
    Ritvij

    hi
Concerning the BDOCs without error, there is a job that you can schedule to run daily that cleans the BDocs processed without errors from the database.
The details of this job are:
    Job name: SMO6_REORG
    Job program: SMO6_REORG
    Variants: SAP_MW_REORG
Trace data (days to hold): 7 (recomended by SAP)
Trace log (days to hold): 7 (recomended by SAP)
    Period: daily.
Besides i should tell you I looked through Help and there are no best practices that I could find.We went through this process at one of my clients. They had 40,000 pluserror'd BDOCs and thousands of processed ones. The Middleware guycreated a program to delete the BDOCs that were over 2 months old andhad completed successfully to prevent the further build up of theseBDOCs. SAP Help says they are marked for deletion after they areprocessed, but it doesn't look like they get removed as wanted..
    From SAP Help:
    Deleting Processed BDoc Messages
    1. Processed BDoc messages cannot be archived.
    2. BDoc messages that have been processed successfully are marked fordeletion.
    Procedure
To delete processed BDoc messages choose Architecture and Technology >Middleware > Message Flow > Delete Processed BDoc Messages
The messages you selected will be deleted.
and regarding deletion of non errant Bdocs
Usually there are two schools of thought on this issue:
    1) Make the hard decision to go back to the beginning and startcorrectly all the things that caused these to error out (bank codes, taxcodes, config on R/3 side but not on CRM side, etc.). Then these can bereprocessed and everything will be brought up to date in the system. This takes time and may neccesistate hiring a Middleware resource for ashort term to help go through the process. The big part of this isidentifying those config items that are out of synch between R/3 andCRM.
    2) The other way to handle these is to go through the errors quickly, gain an insight into the cause of the errors, and correct the bigthings. Delete all the old error'd BDOCs and then bring down all the bigitems again - BPs, Sales orders, products, and so forth. This is muchfaster process, but has it's own risks and problems vs Option 1 above. As these items come in, if you haven't fixed the config problems, theywill error out again. It's a fix and move - fix and move process. In theend you may have some missing data still, but the time commitment ismuch lower. You just need to get leadership's buy-in to this process.
Those error'd BDOCs are a problem and point out all the datainconsistencies that exist in the system. They are also a drag onperformance and need to be processed one way or another. After that, keeping them under a "1000" number is imperative. If you don't, theproblem will get away from you again.
finally Some Transaction Codes that people might find useful for working withBDOCs:
    SMW01 Display BDocs
    SMW02 Display BDoc Summary
SMW02A BDoc Messages: Show Top N Errors
SMW03 Show stats of unproc. BDoc messages
    SMW10 Bdoc structure chekker
    SMW19 Copy BDoc and process
    SMW20 Process BDocs
    SMW3EX1 Flow Carrier Example
    SMW3FDBDOC Maintain Bdoctype dep. Flows
    SMW3FDCUST Maintain Customer Flows
    SMW3FDIF Maintain Bdoctype dep. Attributes
    SMW3FDSTD Maintain Standard Flows
SMW3RBM Convert BDoc Messages to XML
    SMW3RC BDoc Message Error Recovery
    SMW3RCW BDoc Message Error Processor
    SMW3STOP1 General Stop Configuration
    SMW3STOP2 BDoc Type Stop Configuration
SMW3WD Watchdog for failed BDoc Messages
    SMW3_00 BDoc Type Settings
    SMW3_GSB Generic Bridge Activation
    SMW3_GSB2 Generic Synch. Bridge Configuration
SMW3_GSB_SHOW Display Generic Synch Bridge Config
    SMWMBSTATDISP BDoc statistics
hope info will help your cause,i told all this coz before deleting the Bdocs complete understanding of the errant and non errant Bdocs is necessary,
    best regards

  • Mass deletion of email from iPhone is possible with Yahoo

I have been able to mass delete messages from my iPhone using Yahoo. I log on to the server and highlight messages in my Inbox that I want to delete and send them to the Trash folder. I then empty the Trash folder. I then log off the server. I then go to my Inbox on my iPhone, hit refresh, and once the connection is made, the email is deleted! This method of deletion only affects the messages stored in your Inbox. If you have any messages in your Trash folder on your iPhone it might be easier or quicker to move the messages back to your Inbox before deleting them. This does not work yet with Comcast.
    Message was edited by: eaflorida2

This is the default behavior with an IMAP account. The same does not work with or applies to a POP account.
The reason you are able to do this with the iPhone's Mail client is because you are accessing your Yahoo account as an IMAP account with Mail on your iPhone.
Firmware update 2.0 nor any future iPhone updates will be able to provide this for a POP account - for any POP account. There is a different protocol involved with each account type which Apple, the iPhone or iPhone firmware updates have any control over nor can solve. There is nothing to solve here.

  • Mass Delete in v2.2 Mail?

The Software Update page for the v2.2 update (http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/softwareupdate.html) says the Mail application has been upgraded with new management functions like Mass Delete. I've updated my iPod Touch to v2.2, but when I open the Mail applet, the Edit button doesn't offer any new options like Select All.
Any help? What am I missing? Thanks.

What you write is how the Mail applet functioned before in v2.1, but it doesn't track with the text on the Apple web page describing the "amazing features" of v2.2: "New Mail Management Features - Mass delete and move email messages, reply from a different account, and send with bcc." As far as I can find, the Mail applet includes none of these new features.
For me, mass deletion of old email in the inbox is an important improvement. I don't use the Mail applet everyday. When I do and it finishes syncing up to my mail account, I'll have upwards of 150 emails that I've already seen in my desktop Outlook Express. At present, I have to select the radio button for each of these emails under the Edit function (just as you describe it) in order to clear out the inbox. "Mass delete and move" would solve this problem.
If the "mass delete and move" feature isn't implemented in the Mail applet in v2.2, when will it?
    Thanks.

  • Mass Delete

Is there an easy way to do a mass or range delete of emails. Hitting edit and then selecting each is slow. I receive 120-150 emails each day, most of which I read on my Imac and many times I open mail on my phone to find forty or fifty emails that I have already dealt with.

Prior to firmware version 2.0, selecting a number of messages for deletion or transfer to another mailbox was not available so the Edit function included with 2.0 is a significant improvement and much faster, but I guess there is no way to make everyone happy.
If the account is an IMAP account, you can mass delete messages with the email client used on your computer for accessing the account, and/or transfer messages to user created server stored mailboxes by category which will be reflected when checking the account with the iPhone's Mail client with all server stored mailboxes kept synchronized with the server automatically. The same is not possible with a POP account.

  • IPhone keeps locking up when deleting e-mail messages

I have been doing some mass deletions of e-mails on my iPhone this morning and the thing keeps locking up.
I am pushing that "edit" button than the "-" symbol then "delete" next to each message in the list view. I'm doing it pretty quickly deleting one message at a time as fast as I can. (BECAUSE I CAN'T MASS DELETE MESSAGES!!!!)
Anyways, it keeps freezing on me. I have to hold the home button for like 5 seconds to make the iPhone come back to life each time. It's really annoying.
Is there a faster way to mass delete e-mails? Or, I am too fast for the phone and am I locking it up?

I was having some wacky behavior with email, and it got better after I rebooted. I held the power/main buttons for 8 seconds until the Apple logo appeared on the screen,
