Mass deletion of users business partner and position in SRM 4.0

Hi Experts,
We have a requirement of deleting 1000 +  users who are locked in ECC from SRM Organization structure. For which I got the list of users who are under u201Cdeleteu201D group from table USR02. Then I found the business partner number of those users from table BUT000. Once I got the BP number I can do mass deletion of the BPs by using BUPA_DEL.
Now, my problem is I need to mass delete the position of the users as well. If I delete it one user at a time I can go to PPOMA_BBP and select the position and delete the object.  Can anyone please help me on how can I do mass deletion of the positions of those users, its pretty urgent. I am waiting for your valuable suggestions.
Thanks

Hi Velu,
To find the business partner or the central person id we can' go to table HRP1001 and get the central person id / business partner by inputing the parameters in the selection field as :
Object type : CP / BP
Rel. Obj.type: US
ID rel. object : Give the id of the user
this shows the object id . Anyway thanks for your help .

Role - is the same as the concept of role in R3. SAP Delivers some pre confogured authorisation profiles for some standard roles.
Roles are assigned to user depending on the client's requirement.
Business Partner is the same as BP in CRM. basically, the following will be BPs in ur system:
Each independent user of the recruitment process - as BP Branch.
All third party recruitment vendors as BP Type Agency.
All employees will also be BP in the system.
    All external applicants.
You can create internet user using the t code SU05. You can also use the R3 sytem user credentials to log on to the url application by configuring the system to use the SAP login. (this is done thru t code SICF)
    Hope this helps.

  • Difference between Business Partner and Customer in ISU?

Is there any difference between business partner and customer in ISU?
    if yes then wht?

    Hi,
Yes Business Partner is a broad term used in ISU for various roles. A business Partner can be a Customer for company, an employee or even a vendor.
It depends on what role business partner has been given.  Initially by default all Business Partners are assigned a default role "Business Partner (Gen.)". Later it can be changed to any role like Employee, Vendor, etc.
Business Partner with role "Contract Partner" is normally the end Customer which I believe you are referring to.
For more info on Business Partner, please check below link:

  • Difference between Business Partner and Customer Master repository

What is the difference between Business Partner and Customer Master repository ?
Is the Business Partner repository to be used in case CRM is also in landscape ? or Customer master repository is good enough ?
    Sandesh

    Hi,
If the landscape has both CRM and SAP ECC a business partner repository model should be good.
If it has ECC alone.a Customer Repository is needed.
But when there are many legacy systems which also contains master data fields, the standard business repository provided by SAP wont provide a good solution as it wont cover the legacy master fields..In this case its better to go for a customized repository and you can use the standard repository as a reference.
    Thanks

  • Mapping between Business Partner and BDoc type BUPA_MAIN

    Hi Experts,
When creating a business partner system automatically generates BUPA_MAIN as its BDoc type.
Can some one please let me know the mapping between business partner and the BDoc type BUPA_MAIN.
I mean to say how BUPA_MAIN(BDoc type) is getting triggered while creating business partner.
    Maximum points will be rewarded.
    Thanks in advance
    Nadh.R

    Hi Nadh,
This is done in SMOEAC transaction where you assign the subscription and replication objects.
You go to SMOEAC and select the object type as Subscription and click on display icon and it displays the subscription ALL Business Partners and when you click on this or expand you find publication and when you expand this you find replication objects and against this you find the BUPA_MAIN bdoc type.
Hope this helps and if so please reward points.
    Thanks

  • Connection between business partner and organisational unit

    Hello,
I have a problem with the account integration in cProjects ( error message: Cost/revenue rate X is not valid in organization 00000000 ) and I think that there could be a problem with the treewalk from the business partner to the organisational unit.
I am using the transaction ppome to customize the organisational unit with the employess. Unfortunately I cannot see this connections when I am using T-Code PPSS to do the treewalk. Does someone know which evaluation path is the correct one for price evaluation?
Is it correct that the connection between the business partner and the organisational unit is:
employee <-> bp <-> org. unit? What is a good starting point to search for the gap between this chain?
When and what for is cProjects treewalking for the price? What calculation is cProj doing with it?
    Thanks in advance,
      Vanessa

The problem is solved due an incorrect business partner. So the question is obsolet, thx.

  • Query in CRM to get data from Business Partner and Opportunity

Need to develop a new query based on Business Partner and Opportunities in CRM. Not finding any link how to relate these two .

    Hi Vishal,
BP is the Master Data, so load the master data first and then load the Transaction data for Opportunity Item and Header and then Create the quesry on the Opportunity Cube. Your problem is solved.
    Assign points if useful.

  • Difference between Business partner and user

    Hi,
When you Define a position under a Organization Unit & under the position, do we assign a User or a Business partner, what is the difference them.
    Please give me some idea?
    Rgds
    Eliz

    Hi Eliz,
the most common approach is to create a businesspartner from type employee (ROLE = BUP003). Within this businesspartner please assign the User-ID (transaction BP - tab "Identification").
Afterwards assign this businesspartner to your position in transaction PPOMA_CRM.
If you do it like this the user is also assigned to the position.
The businesspartner itself is needed if you create transactions in CRM, for example "responsible Employee" of an opportunity.
If you have more questions please ask.
    Kind regards
    Manfred

  • How to know who Deleted Item or Business Partner

    Hi all!
In SAP B1, we have change log to track who updated information for Item master or Business Partner
In case, one Item is deleted by user. How to know and control this.
    Thanks!

    Hi ,
This query could help you in case of BP, Try it:
    SELECT CardCode,cardname,Deleted,usersign FROM ACRD T0 WHERE T0.[Deleted] ='Y'
Same in the case of AITM.
    Thanks

  • Business Partner and IBase in SolMan

    Hello all,
Anybody have a material for create a business partner, IBase and its users in Solution Manager?
    Or procedure for its creating.
    Thanks.
    Att.
    Rogério

    Hi,
    for ibase you can use
Ib_gen transaction extract from SPRO for some more info.
For some functions, such as Service Desk, Issue Management or Change Management, the system landscape must be defined as installation (iBase). An IBase  component is created in the installation for each system in the installation. An iBase contains general data and components (e.g. products, texts, etc.)
The IBase components for the IBase structure SOL_MAN_DATA_REP (installation 1) can be created and assigned automatically or manually .
You can generate the IBase solution-dependently, or solution-independently, as explained in the following activities.
Each system appears only once in the installations, so a system does not appear in an iBase if it was previously in another iBase
    Default Settings
If you create new systems or change existing ones in the System Landscape Maintenance (transaction SMSY), the system creates the IBase component. You can also deactivate the automatic generation of the IBase.
    Requirements
You have specified your system landscape in Solution Manager System Landscape (transaction SMSY).
    and
    for BP
    you can use BP_gen

  • Error while assigning the user to orgunit and position

    Hi,
We are having the below issue :
    1.       Obtain the HR master record (P Ids) created by interface - ECC
    2.       Assign a valid user to this HR master record -ECC
    3.       Do the position/Org assignment against this P Id or personnel master record - ECC
    4.       Transfer the Org Id, then the position ID and then the personnel master ID (P Id) to SRM u2013 ECC
    5.       Check if the user is in SYNC in SRM  - Ideally he should inherit the mandatory parameters from the above Orgs in the structure without which he shall not be able to shop in SRM u2013 step executed in SRM
Please let us know if this process is as per the expectation.
If so, we are ending up with error in the third step where the assignment is not allowed since the personnel master record is created with prior date than the position and the Org units.
Actually we are getting the idoc with user alone from other system, org and position ids are blank. So we are assigning the user in the system and we are getting above error.
Is this the correct process to bring the users alone into the system and doing the position/organization assignment in ECC now?
Or the Idoc comes with this data as well?
    Regards

Edited by: Venkatesh Padarti on Mar 5, 2012 5:33 AM

Thank you vikas for your reply.
So we should bring all the data in the idoc(O,S,P). Even though O, S are present in the receiving sytem?
    Regards

  • Business partner and R3 customer mapping table

    Hi
Can anyone please tell the Mapping table in CRM and R3; where the Business partner number(CRM) and R3 customer
    number are mapped?
    Thanks in advance!!
    Ashish.

    Hi Ashish,
'CRMM_LOCMAP' is the R/3 CRM Business partner Mapping table based on APO Location.
'CRMM_BUT_CONTNO' is the outbound mapping for R/3 contact person, 'CRMM_BUT_CUSTNO' is the outbound mapping for R/3 Customer.
If you can tell me specifically what is that you are looking for, I might be able to tell the exact table.
