Mass PO Change By LSMW

Hi Gurus,
I want the LSMW procedure to mass change the PO. Suppose to change the multiple line items or Price of each line item.
Plz suggest.

Standard tcode for (mass) data change of internal orders or ... ??

Hi!
I really need some info if there by any chance SAP has standard transaction for mass data change of internal orders (more particular, distribution rules in settlement rule section, which can be found in <b>KO02 transaction</b> ).
I am trying to change distribution rules for settlement receivers in <b>settlement rule section</b>, that is finish past distribution rules by filling TO PERIOD and TO FISCAL YEAR fields on the right of each rule, and then entering new rules (which i get from external source -flat file, ms excel, csv...).
If i wanted to import data in SAP i guess i would have to develop a Batch Input. But that would take me some time to develop because it is pretty complicated.
I found tcode KO08 but i do not really know how to use it. Maybe there is another tcode that i am not aware of?
I would appreciate any suggestions!

Hi Srilakshimi,
If you are familiar with MASS transaction, then you can modify User Responsible field for Internal Orders from transaction KOK2.
As first step you must create a selection variant in order to define which orders you want to modify. Once selection variant was created, excute transaction with it and you'll get a screen similar to MASS transaction. Select the field you want and massively replace it. Do not forget to save.

Can I do a mass price change for inforecords? We are in ECC 6.0....
I have checked transaction MEMASSIN but there is no field for price in this txn.

Yes it is Possible. But, not thru any Mass Transactions.
You need to Perform a BDC for ME12. Go to ME12 and Select Conditions Tab and Select the Gross Price Condition and Click on remove Line and Create New Gross Condition with New Price and Per Unit.

Hi,
You also have Tcode MASS for more mass modification.
Use object type BUS1001 and generate. Then you have to know the tables where the field you want to modify is.
Pick the fields in their folder and generate again. Then in selection pick the materials or use other selection criteria. Generate again.
In the upper side of the screen insert the data and click the button 'carry out a mass change'.

It is very easy to create the LSMW structure for the Vendor load, First thing you have to do is to get all the fields that the business wants to be inputed when you are XK01. Than create a LSMW recording and assign the recording to the structure.
I can guide you with the creation. I do have a PDF for LSMW which will be very helpful for guidance, But how do i share?

PCD inspector (Mass property change)

Hi!
We encountered strange "problem".
We have a role with lots of KM iviews, those iviews are pointing to a different places in KM.
In some of them path property is like "/documents/Public Documents/...", in other ones it's like "/documents/Public%20Documents/...". It happened because initial error in path, that then was reproduced by delta links (and those links were then edited, so it's not possible to chenge only initial object).
So, the question is... Is it possible to somehow mass-change only a part of 'path' property? Something like "change all 'Public%20Documents' to 'Public Documents' in all iViews in a given folder".
Am I describing question clear?

It describes how to do the mass property change.The change which u are refering is possible. An example is given for the same under the section 'Mass property change' under 'General PCD Inspector capabilities'.

Upload price changes with lsmw

Hi there,
For my current project I need to upload some price changes via LSMW. I figured out that it can be done manually via transaction MR21. Is there an object in the Standard batch input that I can use to do this?

HI,
You will not have Direct input batch.
All you can do is to record the LSMW for MR21 and provide and flat file and load it. It hardl takes minutes to do this recording and creating the LSMW for MR21.

it is not stage change. it is just program change and in the PIQST00, we have 'change of progrm' in the PIQST00 and i want to use this function in the background mode. if we have this function in the mass changes it would be happy

Mass component change in BOM

i want to mass change some components in BOM. For example in the BOM i have 10 components. Now i want to change 5 components in the BOM
I have around 500 FG How to do that? Is it possible in LSMW?. or CS20?

It is better to go for getting a BDC developed for all the mass changes in the BOM.
Using CS20 you can only change a single component and replace with a new material. I think BDC is the best alternative.

I would like to have a clarification related to   SAP- REFX Lease in Scenario.
Issue is I have thousands of Rental objects are already Created.
But Based on the Rental object i would like to Update the "NAME OF THE RO" ( description ) field need to change now ( for all RO's ).
Is there any way to do it through UPLOAD / Any other automation activity available ???

Dear Subbarao Narne.
As you already know, Mass Change transactions of RE-FX is just for Responsibility , Organizational Assignment and Update Objects.
So, If you want to mass change the VIBDRO-XMETXT field as description, you can consider 2-options;
1) Use function module : You can use this function in the LSMW.
       - API_RE_RO_CHANGE or BAPI_RE_RO_CHANGE (BUS1504_CHANGE)
2) Direct Changes on the table list (Not recommend)
       - Case of your requirement field as VIBDRO-XMETXT is not key field, so even if you try to change
         this filed by changing of direct table list , Actually, that is no problem~
         (But this method is not recommended)

Mass update changes are showing as saved but not updating.

When I try to do some changes for scheduling agreement line item using t-code MEMASSSA the message is showing as that changes are saved, but when I log into schedule agreement these changes are not being update, even I donu2019t find any change in the log, can anyone let me know why this is happening. Mass change for SA is clarified in note 1046851:
"BAPI_SAG_CHANGE and BAPI_SAG_CREATE are restricted for time dependent
condition. Whether a document uses time dependent condition or document
condition is defined in customizing table T161 field STAKO. This set up
is stored in the document at header level..."
If this was allowed previously, then this was a program error and
subsequent will create inconsistency in your system as the
functionality was intended to block in mass transaction. If not
there are possibilities of problem described in note 1034912.

agreements with time-dependent conditions. Document conditions are not
supported. Therefore, this kind of scheduling agreements cannot be
processed. This is a missing functionality.

You can create lsmw for data migration as follows (using session method):
Example for xk01 (create vendor)
Initially there will be 20 steps but after processing 1 step it will reduced to 14 for session method.
1. TCode : LSMW.
2. Enter Project name, sub project name and object name.
    Execute.
3. Maintain object attributes.
    Execute
    select Batch Input recording
    goto->Recording overview
    create
    recording name.
    enter transaction code.
    start recording
    do recording as per ur choice.
    save + back.
    enter recording name in lsmw screen.
    save + back
Now there will be 14 steps.
2. MAINTAIN SOURCE STRUCTURES.
    Here you have to enter the name of internal table.
    display change
    create
    save + back
3. MAINTAIN SOURCE FIELDS.

    source_fields->copy fields.
    a dialogue window will come .

How to transport the changes of lsmw "Read display Program" changes to prod

Hi,
i have made some changes in the SAP generated program /1CADMC/SAP_LSMW_READ_<>.
i.e., in step : Read display program
the issue is that i made changes...but the changes are stored in $tmp.
now how to move these changes to Production.
when i assign to any package it is showing an error saying
"/1CADMC/SAP_LSMW_READ_<>cannot be assign to package.move to package starting with "/1CADMC/".

HI,
LSMW cannot be transported from one client to another.
You will have to do IMPORT EXPORT.
Run transaction LSMW:-
Give the Project, Subproject and Object.
From Menu go to Extras->Export Project.
Specify the project name
By default everything in the project will be selected.
If you want to transfer only a single subobject of the whole project then first deselect everything.
Deselection can be done by clicking on the description besides then project name.
After that just select the individual object.
Then press the export button.
It will prompt you to save the lsmw in your local machine.
Save it.
Similarly Import it to the production system.
Please note that your changes in the read program will not be copied via import export.
You will again have to make it in the production system.
Changing the read program is not advisable as the changes will be lost if someone once again regenerates the progrsm.
