Mass Processing errors

Hi Experts,
I am doing mass processing of process orders through CORM transaction, its showing errors for some orders,
The errors are,
1.  Balance of ORD 1000010 is not zero
2. Unprocessed future change recs for order 1000012 prevent del. flag/completion
3. System status CRTD is active (ORD 1000220)
Please explain me in details the solutions for all the above errors.
Thanks & Regards,
Karad D D

Hi Devidas,
1. Balance of ORD 1000010 is not zero.
For this please get in touch with Costing persons. Orders are not yet settled. hence this problem is there.
2. Unprocessed future change recs for order 1000012 prevent del. flag/completion.
Few transactions are open for this material please close it.
3. System status CRTD is active (ORD 1000220)
Please put status TECO for this orders this will solve your problem.
Please confirm,
Regards,
Amit Kulkarni.

  • DP Mass Processing error Variant &0000000000322 does not exist

    Hi,
When I double click on the process chain which is created already in transaction RSPC, the system displays message Variant &0000000000322 does not exist.
Please help to resolve this issue.
    thanks and regards
    Murugesan

    Hi,
Variants starting with & are temporary variants and are not transported from one system to another. So if you have transported your process chain from one system to another, the chances are the temporary variants have not been transported.
So pls change your process chain to use a more permanent variant. You can create permanent variants for mass processing jobs as follows.
Go to SE38, type program name as /sapapo/ts_batch_run. Click on variants and create variants with the relevant info.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks

  • Mass processing - Error when processing Java programs / VMC out of memory

When running a mass update background process that updates the status of a service order in CRM the job fails due to error 'Error when processing Java programs'. I checked the VMC (SM52) and noticed that there is an error about the VMC running out of memory.
The background program can either be a PPF Action or a Z-ABAP program that performs the update. Both programs are performing a CRM_ORDER_INITIALIZE but it seems that the VMC is not releasing the memory fast enough.
Is there anyway we can force the VMC to release the memory after processing of each individual order?
    Thanks!

I got  similar issue and it got resolved by useing CRM_ORDER_INITILAIZE. Initalization should happen after every Order processing and see that only one header guid is passed to the the FM. May not be good option ,but just try by putting wait for 5secs after CRM_ORDER_INITILAIZE.

  • APO DP - BADI for storing forecast error in mass processing

I am using APO DP V5.
Does anyone have experience of using the BADI for storing the forecast error in mass processing?
    My questions:
    1. Which BADI is it?
    2. Which forecast errors can it store (eg MAD, MAPE, customer specific errors?)
    3. How does it work - does it store the fcst error(s) in a key figure, or a table?
    Any advice appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Bob Austin, Atos Origin

    Bob,
Go to SE19 --> create implementation: BADI name /sapapo/sdp_fcst4. give some Z name to implementation. Go to interface tab, select activate_fcst_version method, just write 1 line code inside:
    ev_flag_active = 'X'.
activate the method, activate the BADI implementation too.
This BADI records background forecasting errors into these two tables: /sapapo/fcsthead & /sapapo/fcstaccu.
    Rgds,
    SB.
It stores all of the forecast errors including customer specific errors.

  • HCM P&F - Mass processes Fast Data Entry Error

    Hi guys,
I have a new requirement to do a new mass process to save some IT data on several employees without Workflow related. First of all I have tried to understand how standard is working and I have checked one of mass process that system provides, in my case HR_PA_XX_MSP_ADDR_CHANGE process.
Unfortunately, when I execute start application ASR_MASS_START_PROCESS (configuration ASR_MASS_PROCESS_CONF) and select my process and more than one employee I'm getting a dump. This issue is not happening if just select one employee.
I'm going to attach some screenshots to clarify steps that I'm following.
Anyone has faced similar issues? It seems is a standard problem and I want to get some thoughts of you!
    Regards

    Sorry, I don't get you.
When selecting employees there is no issue there, my issue is when I save the data once I have selected more than one employee.

  • Mass processing of Workorders-Reg

    Hi,
We are having standard Tcode COHV for mass Processing of Production Order.
Like that do we have any tcode for mass processing of Workorder.
The reason behind is instead of having CO99 for closing the order with only one plant(my requirement is multiple plants and multiple order types) ,Is it possible to use IW38 in Background to change the order from TECO to CLSD.
Because the option is given in IW38(Menu- Program-Execute in Background). If so how to do that?
Pl throw some light on this.
    Regards
    KRISHNAN

    Krishnan,
In my 4.7 A&D IS system, we don't even have a menu path starting with Program in IW72 or
    IW38 (Menu- Program-Execute in Background).
Only Order > Completion > Complete business, but these programs are designed to release, TECO etc all from within the transaction.
Additionally, you are not restricted to one plant and one order type in CO99. You can leave these open, you are then only restricted by one Controlling Area.
Problem with that is that you are not restricted to PM orders, all order types are processed.
If you are using PM task lists in all your orders, that may work for you as a selection criteria, but that's an unlikely case.
If not, you should be able to reach an agreement with all internal order type users that all orders should be (financially) closed after n days in state of TECO.
Most companies are keen not to leave any 'finished' orders open and available to financial postings.
The usual late postings are differences in invoices and purchase orders. If there are a lot of these it is practical to wait a number of days and then close.
The errors that occur afterwards can always be processed by reversing the closure.

  • Setting in Mass processing activity

    Hello Forecasting Experts,
There are two parameter settings while creating an Forecasting mass processing activity -
    1. Always use job profile
    2. Generate profile and assign it
Can someone tell me what is the effect of using each above setting? Please give some recommendation as to which one has to be used when?
    Thanks in advance.
    Kelly

    Hi Kelly,
These are not one or the other.  You can have none of the options checked and things can run fine.
'Always Use Job Profile' option means system will use the forecast profile specified in the activity, regardless of what forecast profile assignments the demand planners may have made.  This can be problematic.  If the forecast profile in the activity is seasonal and it processes a CVC that should really have a constant model, the system may interpret noise as seasonality and give you what it thinks the seasonality is.  This is a recipe for higher forecast error.
'Generate profile and assign it' options instructs the system to create a new profile with a GUID and assign it.  Strategy 56 was made for this...  Seems like it would take longer to process your forecast this way.
'Generate new profile when errors' option will only generate a new forecast profile and assign it when the system encounters an error during normal calculation.  Example of this kind of error is when the model is Seasonal but you have some periods with blank history mixed in there -- the system can't calculate a seasonal index on zero history.  In this situation the system would generate a profile with a GUID and assign it.  The good news is that these are then easy to find in trxn /SAPAPO/MSDP_FCST2 since they have a GUID.  You can then have a demand planner go back to the CVC and tune the model properly.
(Warning! Business Process advice ahead!!  Proceed with extreme caution!!!)
One strategy with these options is:  Use the 'Generate profile and assign it' when you're first getting underway at go-live.  Let the system do the heavy number crunching the first few times.  Then have your demand planners tune the models for A and B products/families.  When they've had a fair amount of time to get all of those done, delete all GUID profile assignments (there's a button for this in trxn /SAPAPO/MSDP_FCST2 called 'Delete Generated Profiles').  So now, all actively tuned models (A & B products) have a demand-planner-assigned profile and all C products have no profile assignment.  During the forecast calculation run, A & B products will follow their assigned forecast profiles and all C products will use the profile specified in the activity.  In this strategy, none of the options in the activity are selected.
    Hope this helps!

  • Hardware Test Error Message - Mass Storage Error code ata 1/6/8 HD: 2,0

I have an imac 15" flat Panel, 700 MHz . after getting the flashing question mark, running or trying to run all the standard tests, (pram, Software Restore, disk repair, reinstall, kernel repairs) I never see the hard drive or volume. I saw it was a maxtor HD with 0 bytes at one point.
I now ran the Apple Hardware Test think I lost the Hard Drive...this is the feed back:
    Airport- Passed
    Logic Board - Passed
    Mass Storage - Error Detected
Memory - Has Not been Run yet
    Modem - Device Found
Video RAM - Has not been run yet
Error Code ata 1/6/8 HD: 2,0
Could anyone help me diagnose the issue? I think I can replace the HArd Drive myself, if I knew this was the problem and what I need to buy to replace.
    Thanks,

I have a different take to a brody having replaced my hard disk and opened my iMac G4 up several times. Many people find that Apple Authorized Service Providers tend to give extortionate quotes for such repairs. Feel free to get a quote yourself. I'll provide the same advice I've given to many many other Apple Discussions users who have successfully replaced their hard disk themselves.
The iMac uses a standard desktop PC hard drive. It is 3.5" wide and in the iMac G4 uses the IDE connection. The iMac 700MHz 15" has an ATA66 bus so can use ATA66, ATA100 or ATA133 drives but not ATA33 or SATA. You should buy a 7,200rpm drive with a cache of 8Mb or higher as this also increases the speed over the original 5,400rpm drive installed so you should get a performance increase.
Here is a list of suitable hard drives.
It's pretty fiddly to work inside an iMac G4 so you must be very cautious. Always take anti-static precautions. Here are three options for guiding you through the procedure:
    MacWorld
    xlr8yourmac
    Service Manuals
I've also taken a fair few photos which you can find here.
I'd advise reading the reports on the xlr8yourmac's drive database so get other people's experiences first.
You must replace the Thermal Paste when you close the iMac up or it will overheat.
It's probably worth replacing the PRAM Battery whilst you're in there as these have a finite life (once they fail to re-charge you may start to run in to snags - it's only a $5 part).
The hard disk should be set to Master (link).
Some iMac G4 700MHz users have reported that they are unable to address hard drives larger that 128GB, there is an application called SpeedTools that can be used to overcome this addressing limitation.
You might also give consideration to installing a 512MB PC133 DIMM or an 18x DVD±RW Dual Layer burner whilst you do this update; both of which will have to be removed during the process.
You must be very careful around the video connector in the iMac; it really is very fragile. In fact there is no need to touch it at all in my experience.
It is possible that the ATA controller on the iMac's logic board has failed rather than the hard disk. Given the cost of the logic-board it would not be cost-effective for an iMac G4 700MHz.
Let us know how you get on.

  • Using mass processing - transaction wtymp_a

    Hi all,
I am trying to use the mass processing tool of WTY and I have some problems
I have created an action, when operating the action from transaction WTY it works fine but with the mass processing tool the action produce a dump and errors.
While debuging both transactions i have found that the action is called from different programs and there different checks made by sap on the data.
does any one have any idea?
    BR,
    Naama.

    Hi Naama,
true, the call points are different. The main difference is that you have the UI available in transaction WTY. While processing in WTYMP you do not have the UI. Thus you need to make sure that you do not send any popups (can be i-messages, too) during mass processing.
Additionally it might be that your action does not correctly select the version it needs to work with.
    Best regards

  • HCM Mass Process Start

    Hi All,
I have a process Mass Pay Change which is getting displayed in both iviews -
'Start Process for an Employee' and 'Start Process for Multiple Employees'.
It should always appear in 'Start Process for Multiple Employees'.
It would be great if you could let me know the configuration or any SAP note to overcome this issue.
    Thanks,
    Radhika

    Hello Radhika,
What SP level is EA-HRGXX on your system.
Are you using SAP HR Renewal 1.0 i.e. FPM based forms?
What is the start application that you are using(in SE80)?
As per note 1917919 - Configuring a FPM process of mass type leads to an error mass process is not supported with the new start application. Check on the latest  with SAP if you are planning to use it.
For the older application - usually a process marked as type M (i.e Mass start) would appear in Start process for multiple employees.
    Hope this helps.
    With regards,
    Sahir.

  • Mass Processing for Forecast SOP

    Hi Experts,
I have one requirement, I have to run Mass Processing for Forecast SOP in background Job based on consumption values updated in Material Master.
I have followed all instruction give for doing this process (SAP SOP Mass Processing - SAPs'WORD - We SAP For Your Cause) but could not achieve.
Can any one help to run in background job for Mass Processing for Forecast SOP.
    Thanks in Advance
    V.Sundeep

    Hello,
Refer KBA    1778072 - Error message MA 653 when running mass processing forecast (program RMCP6BIN)
Internal condition NOT IPRWA-VGVON IS INITIAL not fulfilled
Internal condition NOT IPRWA-VGBIS IS INITIAL not fulfilled
Forecast/historical period cannot be calculated MA 653
Check your planning type which is used for your batch job. The number of historical periods in planning type (transaction MC8B) must not be smaller than the number of historical periods in forecast profile (transaction MC96). If the number of forecast period is maintained in the forecast profile (transaction MC96) the number of future period in the planning type must not be smaller than the number of forecast period in the forecast profile.
A not appropriate entry in SOP User Settings (transaction MC79) in Number of periods in the planning horizon can have an effect on this also.

    Mass Processing of Production Orders
    Use
Mass processing enables you to carry out functions for multiple orders.
    Features
    Functions
The following lists contain the mass processing functions that are available:
    Order headers
    Material availability check
    Release
    Printing of shop floor papers
    Costing
    Scheduling
    Generate capacity requirements
    WM material staging
    Picking
    Set/delete user status
    Confirmation

    Starting Mass Processing
Mass processing can be started in the following ways:
Triggering the execution of a function
The execution of a function can be triggered as follows:
    Execute function immediately
The functions are executed directly after mass processing has been triggered. This can take a long time for functions that require a lot of system resources. However, you can immediately check whether the function was successfully executed.
    Execute function with dialog transaction
Further processing is controlled by a dialog that is specific to the function. This option is available for the following functions: Confirmation, Picking, Log display.
Create a function request (refer to Processing Requests)
First, requests are created without any further checks. The requests are created very quickly. Mass processing is actually executed with the program COWORKDISPATCH. As a result, it is delayed until the next time the program starts. You can decouple the function in terms of time, so that the main work takes place at night, for example. The end users create requests and system administration takes care of their execution.
    Execute function in the background
First, requests are created without any further checks. Then a background process is started, which processes these requests immediately. Scheduling a background job does not create any administrative work and reduces the workload for the dialog.
    Parallel Processing
For parallel processing, you define server groups for mass processing (COWORK-DIALOG, COWORK-BATCH). This enables you to speed up the execution of processing.
Mass processing online/ in the background.
You can either execute mass processing online or you can schedule it in a background job (no online steps are possible).
Application Toolbar with Mass Processing Functions
You can define that an application toolbar, with selected mass processing functions, is displayed in the list of the selected objects. You can use this application toolbar to execute the functions in the dialog.
For more information refer to Display Application Toolbar with Mass Processing Functions.
    Test Run
You can decide whether changes caused by a mass processing function are executed in the form of a test run only. Error messages that may occur are collected. No changes are updated to the database.
You can use the test run for these functions:
    Close
    Set/delete user status
    Release
    Costing
    Generate capacity requirements
    Technically complete
    Scheduling
    WM material staging
To test a function, select the option Test function without changes to data on the Mass processing tab page.
    Log
Log records are written and saved as a function is being executed. They provide information about the execution of a mass processing function. If no log record exists, the function was executed without any problems. The log records are assigned to the order or the collective order

  • Mass Compiler Error 13

    Hello,
We are mass compiling a solution on client machines. To do this we just select the current base directory and hit mass compiler. There are dll's, vi's and vit's in various subfolders that we need processed. This all seems to work fine, but we are getting the following error:
    #### Starting Mass Compile: Fri, Apr 07, 2006 5:28:42 PM
      Directory: "C:\TOMVIEW"
    CompileFolder: error 13 at C:\TOMVIEW\dll\gateway.dll
    CompileFolder: error 13 at C:\TOMVIEW\dll\gatewayfc.dll
    CompileFolder: error 13 at C:\TOMVIEW\dll\gatewaygJ.dll
    #### Finished Mass Compile: Fri, Apr 07, 2006 5:30:06 PM
The folder dll contains 28 different dll's (that are all referenced from various VI's).
Question 1: Why is it doing anything at all with these dll's?
Question 2: How can we prevent this error from occuring (it does not seem to have an effect anyway)?
Question 3: Do we have a problem at all?

    Hi Marcus
The easiest solution is to move these dll's to another directory, next to the math compile path.
The second best option is the filtering of the messages.
The best solution is that someone within NI fixes this e.g. by giving you the opportunity to accept mass compile errors of a certain kind.
At last somebody can write a new mass compile for you.
In fact it is nothing more than traversing the directory tree and trying to compile each vi.
I hope somebody that has the time and knowledge to help you will pick this up.
    greetings from the Netherlands
