Mass reconnect required - help

Hi,
I had been using photoshop elements 9. I was having difficulty with system crashes while trying to reconnect 12 thousand photos that had been moved from multiple folders to a single one (skydrive/pictures on my computer) so upgraded because I was told PSE 12 could better handle large numbers of photos.
Somehow the catalog in PSE 12 is looking at the old location of the images and now needs to reconnect all 12K photos. However, it's not even looking at the new location.
I directed PSE 12 to 'watch' the new folder. Nothing. I then tried to import from the folder but the system froze after 3K photos.
Any suggestions?

The watched folders have nothing to do with already imported pictures, it's to import the new ones.
For the problem with importing photos, did you get a message or not ?
Could you try creating a new catalog and importing only half of the pictures in the folder ?
If that still freezes, try the other half. That test would perhaps tell if there is one or several problem files creating the problem.

Mass reconnection option?

is there an option anywhere within iTunes (or even an applescript) that will allow for mass reconnection of files in an itunes library. I made the major mistake of moving my music files from one drive to another manually, and now am faced with the dreaded 'cannot locate file would you like to locate it' scattered all throughout my massive library (16,000+ songs, 120+GB).. is there any way for me reconnect these without having to:
a) do it individually
b) delete everything and re-add everything to the library again (also curious if I went with this option would I lose the artwork i have downloaded/added as well?)
unfortunately reverting back to the way things were isnt an option since i've reformatted the drive that originally contained the music.
any help would be appreciated. dumb move by me, i should've thought a bit more, as an aperture user i know never to move my files manually, but rather let aperture do it, so not sure why i completely forgot that rule of thumb when it came to itunes...

When using "Mass Allocate" to do the spreading, the Planning user (even if they are already the application owner) needs to be provisioned with the "Mass Allocation" role in Shared Services.

I wrote the following query :
select cust_id, ntile(3) over (order by cust_id) "Bucket" from trans_detls
The output is like this :
Cust_id Bucket
111 1
111 1
111 1
111 1
111 2
111 2
222 2
222 2
333 3
333 3
333 3
333 3
The problem is that I dont want the cust_id to overlap in buckets. That is one cust_id should be present in only one bucket.
Is this possible?

I have Blex builder 3 and Blaze DS turnkey version.
Would any one help me in setting up the java application on Blaze DS.
Do i require to place Blaze DS and flex(client code) on same system.

Thanks, one question, i have downloded Blaze DS turnkey version, could not srtart tomcat which is in Blaze DS.
Hence making use of tomcat installed on my local system which is works fine. In order to settup Blaze DS i copied required jar files from Blaze DS and flex configuration files(xml files) .
However Flex Builder3 is installed on one of test server, when i tried to create Flex project i could not validate Server location.
Is it required to have both Java server and flex builder on same system?

I require help with my first website

As you can see from many of my recent posts, I am new to web development, and I have decided that I am going to need some help.
This forum has been a huge help, and I will continue using it, but the reality of the situation is that progress is slow as I am learning as I go, each junction I reach and require help with is holding up progress, which wouldn't be a problem if I had more spare time, but I simply don't.
Is anybody willing to help me? It would be paid work so I would need to discuss how this would work with rates etc... here are some details:

If anybody is interested please send me a private message, I would need to see some examples of your experience, details on your availability and your rate - whether thats per day, per hour and a rough estimate on how long you think the work will take.

What you are basically after is a tutor, to guide you in what you are doing. In this respect it may be worth your while to read-up on designing web pages,as after a quick glance of the code, (from your previous post regarding the background image ) the main problem you are having is that you are not 'implementing' a consistent design/development procedure.

How do I enable file downloads without requiring helper applications?

Firefox is now requiring helper applications for "apt" downloads. I don't want that. I just want to download files and install by hand. How do I regain always having the option to simply download any file, of any type?

What is an APT file?
Are you getting the Open/Save/Cancel dialog, or the Save/Cancel dialog, or is Firefox attempting to open the file directly?
Firefox generally associates programs or plugins with content types instead of file extensions. This information may be gleaned from your operating system or from plugins. This information is stored in a file named mimeTypes.rdf and is maintained automatically, so it's risky (and might be fruitless) to edit the file by hand...

Moved library to external drive ... now can't reconnect files HELP

Hi all. I've searched this forum for answers to my problem but to no avail.
In effort to free-up hard-drive space on my iMac, I decided to move my entire Aperture library folder to my external g-drive. Then, when I started Aperture up again, I opened preferences and pointed to the new library location on the external. I thought it would be that easy...
At first, it seemed to have worked--the files were all showing up in Aperture. However, when I tried to edit or export any of the images, I got a warning message:
"Versions with unavailable master images cannot be exported. The selected master image is either offline or not found. Please reconnect it and try again."
Also, there's a little yellow yeild icon with an arrow above on the images... I guess this indicates that there's a connection problem?
What should I do? I tried right-clicking the main "Library" icon in Aperture and clicking "Relocate Masters for Library..." but that resulted in another error message:
"Unavailable master images cannot be relocated. One or more of the selected master images are unavailable. You can relocate all available masters, or cancel, connect the required drives, and try again."
I have no idea what to do next? How do I fix this? I have a shoot today and I will need this resolved.... If anyone has any idea, please take me thru this. Oh, one more thing--I have over 11,000 photos so forget manually connecting each one.
One more thing: I am downloading Aperture 3 and will definitely migrate. Will it be easier to connect these files to Aperture 3?

OK, I couldn't figure it out so I set everything back to how it was before the move. Everything is working now and all the files are still in the original location.
Now, I want to move the entire library to the external drive. I've looked into this...please correct me if I'm wrong with the steps to move entire library from my computer to a external drive (note: I don't want to use the computer HD to store/process the photos--I want it all done from my external HD)/. Here's what I found in Aperture help...this is the closest thing I could find for directions on moving the entire Aperture contents from one location to another permanently. Will this work?:
"Transferring Projects from Another System
If you work with several computers, or work on projects with other people, you may find it necessary to transfer projects from one Aperture system to another. Transferring projects is a simple import process.
To transfer a project from one computer to another:
1 Select the project you want to transfer, then choose File > Export > Project.
2 Enter a name and choose a location for the exported project.
3 If your project contains referenced images, select the “Consolidate images into exported project” checkbox to transfer the original masters as well as the previews and metadata as a self-contained project that another Aperture system can use.
If you are transferring projects with referenced images to another computer and want to transfer just the referenced image previews and not the masters, don’t select the “Consolidate images into exported project” checkbox.
4 Click Save. The project file is exported to the location you chose.
5 Connect or network the two computers together. For more information, see the documentation that came with the computers.

I have just purchased a 5S iphone, when I tried to sync with my Imac it comes up with "...requires iTunes version 11.1 or later.." my iTunes version is 10.6.3, I rechecked software updates but says there is no updates required. help

If your computer is running an OS X prior to Snow Leopard 10.6,
the answer (if it is an Intel-based Mac; not old PowerPC model)
would be to buy the retail Snow Leopard 10.6 DVD from Apple
for about $20, and install it. Then update that to 10.6.8 by using
the installed Snow Leopard online to get Combo Update v1.1 for
Snow Leopard 10.6.8. After that is installed & updated, run the
system's Software Update again, to see what else is available to
that system.
Later systems can then be looked into at Mac App Store, once
the computer is running Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
And if your computer is a Power PC (G4/G5, etc) and has no
Core2Duo kind of CPU -- See "About this Mac" in apple menu
to disclose the general info about your Mac. Also you can see
even more by clicking on "More Info" when looking in there...
If it isn't an Intel-based Mac, it can't run a system past 10.5.8.

Required help for badi for GL tab in MIRO transaction

I am working in MIRO transaction.
I am having a requirement as below:
While creating invoices, In the gl tab when we enter gl account number system should populate Tax jurisdiction code by default.
I am using BADI EXTENSION_US_TAXES method MM_ITEM_TAX_MODIFY but it populates the tax jurisdiction in PO reference tab not in GL tab.

Lightroom 3.6 - folders missing, can't find to reconnect - please help!

Fired up LR this morning and the folders all have the dreaded grey ? next to them. When I try to reconnect however, the data drive does not appear. Please see screenshot below -- it only has Desktop and subfolders showing for selection. I can't even see D: from within LR.
I have checked the data drive (D:), it is connected and not asleep or anything. I can see all files in it from Windows Explorer without any hiccups or errors. No changes have been made to system or hardware prior to this disconnect in LR occuring.
My original files are all still there, but I can't reconnect the foldres in LR - what to do? Any help that can be given is much appreciated....

Update:
This is not a technical solution, but after much poking around and tinkering, the problem resolved itself.... what worked was that I went in to one of the subfolders and looked at a specific image. The image bore a "this image is missing or offline" error message. When I tried to make LR relocate that specific image, it gave me the option to go into D: and locate it (unlike the screenshot I previous submitted). After I "found" this one image, I went back and tried to relocate/reconnect full folders and was able to do so as expected.

The query basically allocates the customers to incharges... based on cust_type and del_status.
there are 3 categories, Gold Customers, Silver Customers and HD customers..
It should divide this three equally amongst the 2 incharges...
Also this is just a sample data... actually table consists of around 3Lac customers and 12 incharges

Required help in improving the performance

Hi I am very new to java concept, I am working with an API, where the records are being processed in for loop, and taking time, to process 10k records it is taking almost 35 min, and as I have incorporated in my apex, if the multiple users using the same that stage the performance even being dropped, it is taking almost near to an hour, somehow with the help of online tutors, I was able to incorporate oracle.sql.array, not able to increase the performance,
My first requirement is there is any way that I can process the records parallel in batches, or not how do I increase the performance, and I got know that by enabling setautoindex and setautobuffer on we can increase the performance, but I could not do that can anyone help me on this.

I apologize for not adding the process in the initial phase
The task for me to pass the records from my table to api, and update the results given by the api, the steps involved are
1) I have created type of strarray and have assigned the same to rec1,rec2 in my stored procedure
2) rec1 is the input details which consist of batch_id unique identifier by batch,row_id unique identifier for the batch and the contact address information.
3) rec2 is the output for rec1, where i will get the batch_id,row_id, and formatted address in output form
4) I will capture the opt put in temp table and update these results to the input table
5) With this stored procedure, i am not able to allow parallel transaction i..e multiple users
6) As records are being processed row by row, consuming time

I have a list of records like:

Now, my requirement is, i need to write a query to return the sum of COL5 for the combination of COL1 and COL2. My Output records are suppose to be as follows:
COL1 COL2 COL3 COL4 COL5 COL6 COL7
ABCGENCY GBP 670 123 6/20/2008 7/21/2008 0162101

Friends, Please do help me in framing the query for the above.

I don't require the first query and union.
I need -- something as u mentioned
select col1,null,null,sum(col4),null,null,null from tab t
group by col1 ...
But in my query i have all the other columns also with values.
Hence i am unable to group by col1 with sum(col4) alone...rather i have been forced to bring all the other columns used in the select statement to group by clause which is not resulting with my expected output.
