Mass upload the configuration Data

Hello SAP Guru's
I need to enter large amount of HCM configuration data from one Client to another. Please let me know, if there is any easier automated mass upload approach instead of manually updating the target client.

I need to upload the data from Excel onto the client.
Scenario is : I need to upload the Personnel Area and Personnel subareas config data from Excel to the dev system. Since the list is huge I was looking for easier option to upload them.
Is there a standard way of doing massupload of config data without using ABAP teams help?

I need expert answers for following.
1] I have .xsd file which is representing the Configuration data. Structure of XSD is

3] Let say I create the following Folder structure to store the Configuration file specific for dev/stage/prod instance

4] I need a way to load these property file as xml element/variable inside OSb message flow.?? I can't use XPath function fn:doc("URL") coz I don't know exact path of XMl on deployed server.
5] Also I need to lookup/model the value which will specify the current server type(Dev/Stage/prod) on which OSB MF is running. Let say any construct which will act as a Global configuration and can be acccessible inside the OSb message flow. If I get the vaalue for the Global variable as Dev means I will load the xml config file under the Dev Directory @runtime containing key value pair for Dev environment.
6] This Re: OSB: What is best practice for reading configuration information
suggest the designing of the web application which will serve the xml file over the http protocol and getting the contents into variable (which in turn can be used in OSB message flow). Can we address this problem without creating the extra Project and adding the Dependencies? I read configuration file approach too..but the sample configuration file doesn't show entry of .xml file as resources

If you can enforce some sort of naming convention for the transport endpoint for this proxy service across the environments, where the environment name is part of the endpoint you may able to retrieve it from $inbound in the message pipeline.
eg. http://osb_host/service/prod/service1 ==> Prod and http://osb_host/service/prod/service2 ==> stage , then i think $inbound/ctx:transport/ctx:uri can give you /service/prod/service1 or /service/stage/service1 and applying appropriate xpath functions you will be able to extract the environment name.

Any Standard Program to upload the financial data

Hi Team,
Any standard program which will upload the financial data(trail balance) into sap fi.
The scenario is that there are few company codes which is not in sap and we need to upload their financial data in sap like trail balance, I need to upload this company code data in sap fi, please suggest some standard program which uploads this data.

Hi,
Standard programs are there, but those dont fit to your requirement.
e.g. Based on the account type(D, K, S) there are different different fields should be filled up.
If it is Vendor invoice, you have to capture Inv.no., text, leacy subledger number if required.
All these fields are not required for GL data upload.
Better create 3 LSMW'S for GL, Vedor & Customers.

You can use ALE for this. The message type is HRSM_D for upload of time data.

Java 1.4.2_03 Windows: The configuration data for this product is corrupt.

Trying to install j2SE 1.4.2_03 JRE on a Windows system (exact version needed for a bussiness application) after all previous Java installations have been deleted and all Windows Registry Java related keys have been manually deleted with Regedit.exe.
The EXE installer works properly in other machines but in this one it stops after a few seconds with the following message:
"The configuration data for this product is corrupt. Contact your support personnel".
The problem is related to the Windows install mechanism rather than the Java installer itself and likely caused by the manual Registry deletion.
The error code is 1610: ERROR_BAD_CONFIGURATION.
Reinstalling Windows didn't fix the problem.
Unable to recover the system to a previous state with the System Recovery Tool (Accesories/System Tools).
Other versions of Java installers fail the same way and show the same message.
I don't know how to contact "my support personnel" nor who they are.
I'd appreciate any help about this problem or what Java installers need within the Registry to work or a clue of any kind.

I've learned there is a product ID in the registry that must be present for the installer to run. I'm searching for this "mysterious" product ID and how to set the right Windows XP Registry entry for the JSE 1.4.2_03 version.

Inbound IDOC for sales orders not posting the configuration data

Hi all,
I am facing a problem in posting the inbound IDOC (message type ORDERS). The configuration data maintained in the parent segment E1CUCFG and in the segment E1CUVAL is not getting posted though i am passing the data in these segments which is 100% correct.
Can any one solve this problem

Please check the two segments are active. You can do that in BD53.
In BD53 enter message type, and make the segments active.
If segments are active, it appears in white colour.
After this post the IDoc and check with segments.

Hi Vishal,
Pls use BW07 & BW10 Tcodes for generating the Hierarchy Data Source in R/3.
If its a set of hierarchy you can use tcode BW07 to generate datasoucre, and for standard hierachies you must be having datasources already created.
Now just replicate datasoucre in BW side, and in infopckage selection you can get newly created hierarchy. Select and schedule it, it will be loaded into BW.
For External Hierarchy in BW , download to Flatfild and then upload.

I need some help in uploading the vendor code from 20000001 server 1 to another server 2.
I have tried to do it but still unable to see in server 2.
Where the problem could be?

I think there are two options available to migrate master datas from one server to another.
1) ALE (Application Link Enabling)
2) LSMW

LSMW is you need to create a recording in the server in which you would like to upload the master datas.
