Massive modification of prices

I need change the prices of some materials. (300 more or less).
I have in a excel sheet this information (material-price). How can I paste the 300 lines of materials with its new prices at the same time? I only can paste a number of lines equals to the number of lines that I can see in the screen.
I am using the vk13 transaction.
Thanks

Dear Oscar
You can make use of BDC to upload the pricing conditions in bulk and assign a TCode for the same.
With the assigned tcode, the end users make mass update

  • PO price change date

    Hello,
Is there a field in the PO where the date of the last update of pricing elements is saved? In my case, if there is a price change and the user modifies the price, the date of this change is required to be stored somewhere for further processing.
    Thanks.
    R.

So if I want to retrieve this info by some ABAP code, I have to read tables CDPOS then CDHDR with the appropriate keys, right? I think this is not the best way in terms of performance.

  • Price S and prive V in material master

    Hi,
most customers ask why moving average price and standard price must be set in material master and why I cannot take as V or S price the price my vendor apply when he sells me products and why are necessary the above price ?
    Regards

    Hi
In the standard price procedure (price control u201CSu201D), the system carries out all stock postings at a price defined in the material master. Variances are posted to price difference accounts.
In the moving average price procedure (price control u201CVu201D), the system valuates goods receipts with the purchase order price and goods issues with the current moving average price. The system automatically calculates the latter upon every goods movement by dividing the total value by the total stock quantity. Differences between the purchase order price and the invoice are posted directly to the relevant stock account if there is sufficient stock coverage.
    Characteristic of Price Control u201CSu201D:
u2022     All stock postings are made at a standard price.
u2022     The system posts all differences from the standard price to an account u201CExpense/Revenue from price differenceu201D.
u2022     Exact values are available for cost accounting / controlling purposes (All goods issues, such as issues to a production order, are valuated at the same standard price. This allows better analysis of the costs of production orders).
u2022     In the accounting view, we can display differences between the delivered price and the standard price.
u2022     We can change material prices if required (generally at the end of period). This causes the system to revaluate the total stock for a valuation area.
    Posting at Standard Price.
A receipt posted to a stock account is generally posted at the standard price. Differences between the order price and the standard price are posted to an u201CExpenses/revenue from price differencesu201D account (2).
Differences between the invoice price and the order price are posted to an u201CExpenses/revenue from price differencesu201D account (3).
The moving average price is also recorded in the material master when the material is valuated at a standard price. It indicates the extent to which the standard price differs from the delivered price.
    Characteristic of Price Control u201CVu201D.
u2022     Receipts are valuated at their actual price (as per purchase order, invoices,...)
u2022     The system modifies the price in the material in the material master according to the delivered price.
u2022     Issues are generally valuated at the current material price.
u2022     The data used for cost accounting / controlling purposes therefore contains price fluctuations.
u2022     Only in exceptional circumstances does the system post at a difference to the u201CExpenses/Revenues from price differencesu201D account (The system makes a posting to an u201CExpenses/revenue from price differencesu201D account for a material valuated at a moving average price only in the case of a debit or credit when the stock coverage in the company code is smaller than the quantity to be debited or credited, e.g.: When we reverse an invoice, the account movements made when the invoice was posted cannot always simply be reversed. For example, if there was sufficient stock coverage when we posted an invoice with a price variance for a material with moving average price, but when we reverse the invoice, there is insufficient stock coverage, the R/3 System posts the price difference in the credit memo to a price difference account, although the price variance was debited to the stock account when we posted the invoice)
u2022     We can change material prices if required (generally at the end of period). This causes the system to revaluate the total stock for a valuation area.
    Postings at Moving Average Price.
Receipts to the stock account are posted with the value Quantity x Order price. The moving average price is recalculated after every transaction and is therefore adjusted in line with delivered prices (2)/(4).
Differences between the order price and the invoice price are debited to the stock account, as the invoiced quantity is in stock (3).
The difference between the order price and the invoice price is only posted for the 50 pieces in stock. For the remaining 50 pieces that are not in stock, the difference between the order price and the invoice price is posted to an u201CExpenses/revenue from price differencesu201D account (6).

  • Planned Price Deletion

    Good morning guys,
i need to delete all planned prices stored on material masters.
    I'm referring to fields:
    - MBEW-ZPLP1
    - MBEW-ZPLP2
    - MBEW-ZPLP3
I checked Tcode MASS and it seems that fields MBEW-ZPLP* are not available.
I checked Tcode CKR1 as well and it seems that only standard prices (both planned and current) can be deleted. They are:
    - MBEW-ZPLPR
    - MBEW-LPLPR
    - MBEW-VPLPR
    - MBEW-STPRS
and they are not what i need to delete.
Please, does anybody know how can i easily and massively delete planned prices?
    Thanks for your help.
    Regards,
    Enrico

    HI,
I tried MASS but was not able to change the planned price as well.  This exists in Costing 2 tab of material master data.
I have seen customers before who created custom programs to update planned price field.
As planned price is entered as one of the criteria for material valuation in the valuation variant, make sure that this change is rightfully impacted in standard cost estimate updates.
    Thanks,
    Ram

  • Who thinks the International pricing of Adobe Products is Fair?

IMHO the pricing policy of Adobe sucks big time.
I can understand charging a small preium for trnaslations into other languages (extra work)
But why does it cost more for English language software in one region than another?
The price for master suites in the US is sssooo much lower than in Europe, even for an English language version.
We don't all have to have German language software.
In fact I know a lot of people who prefer to work with English language software who work internationally.
There's no excuse for this. It's the same product in the US and the UK!
    (USD 2499 versus GBP 2489)
    Exchange rate is 0.6279  = 1569 GBP + VAT @ 15% = fair price of 1800GBP
And then why does it cost even more for a download than a hard copy shipment?
    (2630 GBP versus 2489 GBP)
What a joke. The internet should make things cheaper not more expensive!
Europe is a single market. People in Germany are even worse off!
Yes we all know about currency fluctuations, import duties and tax differences (15% VAT in the UK * 19% MWSt in Germany), but Adobe are just ripping off people in mainland Europe.
No way do these differences justify the MASSIVE difference in price. (EUR 3245 versus GBP 2489)
Fair price for English language software in Germany should be 2499 * 0.6875 *1.19 = 2044 EUR
But Adobe want to charge you 3245 EUR! That's 60% too much even after taking into account tax differences!
Roll on transparency and the single market!

    I second that.
I just checked for After Effects. The US price for a full version is USD 999 (which would be CHF 909 at the current rate) but Adobe charges CHF 1'529.26 (!!!) - and I'm talking about the English version. In Switzerland we have a very moderate VAT of 8%, so that's no excuse either.
Come on Adobe, 50% more because we're not american??
I find this behaviour extremely customer unfriendly to be honest...It's a rip-off.
Adobe, you're killing very good products with your attitude...

  • Changes in fields of SC trigger Email back to Requestor

    Hello! All
I am using n-badi workflow for shopping cart. There is no start condition for this workflow. When a approver makes a change in price , a e-mail triggers back to requestor to ACCEPT CHANGES OR REJECT CHANGES. When an approver makes a change in date or product category then mail does go back but ACCEPT CHANGES OR REJECT CHANGES button disappear , It just state SAVE OR CHANGE button. When user press the save button , WF gets approve. It is NOT going through all listed approvers again
Your help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Yogesh

    hi,
This the diffence between accpet/reject change and just a notification.
In one case the requestor receives one knid of e-mail to accept or change modification due to modification on price or quantity...
In the other case it's just a notification to inform requestor that a modification was done by approvers.
If you want to restart WF at each kind of modification change the BBP_WFL_SECURITY to "Low".

  • Regarding customer num length

    Hi All,
i dovelepoed one BDC conversion for customer master.
Now the probelm is we can give only 10 charectors customer length. SAP doesnot allow more than 10.
but the legacy system is sending 13 char customer number.
they unable to reduce that length.
is there any way to improve the customer length in SAP
from 10 cahrs to 15 chars.
    can anybody help?
    Thanks & regards,
    khasimsa
Title edited by: Alvaro Tejada Galindo on Jun 12, 2008 7:30 PM

No, you can't. This would mean a massive modification of the standard system. Instead try to use another field in the customer master to store the customer number of the legacy system.

    John.

  • CaptureOnePro7

PhaseOne recently released CaptureOnePro v7 - purporting all new raw rendering engine, with improved noise reduction / detail-rendering, highlight & shadow recovery... - I haven't tried it, but if anybody does, I'd like to know their impression (versus Lr4...)...

Speaking as a long-time fan of Capture One, Capture One Pro 7 is a car-crash on pretty much any level you want to judge it from.
I was going to link to the "Active Topics" view of forum.phaseone.com to give you an idea of the mess, but it would appear that they've pulled it in favour of a forced redirect to the Phase One home page. Not a surprise, given the sh*t-storm going on over there, but pretty cowardly.
From my point of view, Capture One's weaknesses were always its high ISO noise performance; its poor highlight recovery; and its tendency to render a cross-hatch/chequerboard pattern at 100% view (note that I'm not a pixel-peeper - this artefact could and did hurt fine detail at "normal" views). As you've seen, Cap One Pro 7's supposedly all-new, best-of-the-best rendering engine is supposed to fix all of these, and - to be blunt - it does nothing of the sort.
NR is still not a patch on Lr's, and you still have to choose between detail and low noise in a way that Lr (or Photo Ninja) simply doesn't make you do; it's highlight recovery is better than it used to be, but again, not close to Lr or PN - I still reckon they use a clever curve which compresses highlights while boosting mid-tone contrast, rather than highlight recovery based on data recovered from unblown channels; and the cross-hatch pattern still appears. This can be addressed to a degree by not sharpening in Cap One, but that hardly makes best use of its supposedly much-improved, detail-recovering sharpening algorithm...
Add to that the fact that there are umpteen complaints about stability; and on my machine the software - assuming it doesn't lock up completely on opening - is so slow, "sticky" and unresponsive as to be practically useless (Cap One 6 was "blink and you'll miss it" responsive).
And - my God! - the price! I've used Capture One since v3 - loyal, long-time user - but because I've always used the cut-down "Express" version (which they seem to have pulled the plug on - there are ructions on the Phase One forum about that too) my discounted upgrade from Cap One Express 6 to Cap One Pro 7 will cost me £200 with tax - $318 at today's rate!
For an upgrade! Compare that with £60/$95 - with tax - to go from Lr 3 to Lr 4. It's a massive difference in price for something that's not remotely worth the money. For more context, Bibble 5 to AfterShot Pro cost me only £14! It's just a pity that ASP is awful.
I believe the word you use in the US is "gouging"?
Yep - Phase One have f***ed up royally right across the board here.

  • IPlanet sending ALL requests to WebSphere 5.1

Static html that exists at iPlanet's docroot cannot be served. All requests, whether servlet, jsp, or html appear to be passed on to WebSphere. Even NameTrans directives in the obj.conf are ignored. We are migrating from WAS 3.5.6. Below is the modified section of the obj.conf with the modifications highlighted:
    <Object name="default">
    NameTrans fn="strip-params"
    NameTrans fn="pfx2dir" from="/manual" dir="/usr1/WWW_Enterprise/manual/https" name="es-internal"
    NameTrans from="/IBMWebAS" fn="pfx2dir" dir="/proj/WebSphere/AppServer/web"
    NameTrans fn="pfx2dir" from="/ns-icons" dir="/usr1/WWW_Enterprise/ns-icons" name="es-internal" name="es-internal"
    NameTrans fn="pfx2dir" from="/mc-icons" dir="/usr1/WWW_Enterprise/ns-icons" name="es-internal"
    NameTrans fn="pfx2dir" from="/help" dir="/usr1/WWW_Enterprise/manual/https/ug" name="es-internal" name="es-internal"
    NameTrans fn="pfx2dir" from="/manual" dir="/usr1/WWW_Enterprise/manual/https" name="es-internal"
    NameTrans fn="document-root" root="$docroot"
    PathCheck fn="unix-uri-clean"
    PathCheck fn="check-acl" acl="default"
    PathCheck fn="find-pathinfo"
    PathCheck fn="find-index" index-names="index.html,home.html"
    ObjectType fn="type-by-extension"
    ObjectType fn="force-type" type="text/plain"
    Service fn="as_handler"
    #Service fn="service_exit"
    Service method="(GET|HEAD)" type="magnus-internal/imagemap" fn="imagemap"
    Service method="(GET|HEAD)" type="magnus-internal/directory" fn="index-common"
    Service method="(GET|HEAD)" type="*~magnus-internal/*" fn="send-file"
    AddLog fn="flex-log" name="access"
    </Object>
And here is the portion of the magnus.conf that changed:
    Init fn="load-modules" funcs="as_init,as_handler,as_term" shlib="/proj/WebSphere/AppServer/bin/libns41_http.so"
    Init fn="as_init" bootstrap.properties="/proj/WebSphere/AppServer/config/cells/plugin-cfg.xml"
The applications that we are converting have a context-root of "/", which I fear may be part of the problem. I believe that may be why all the requests are handled by WebSphere. Unfortunately I do not know how this can be changed without massive modifications on our clients' end. For example, clients normally access our app using /ABC.cgi which really maps to a servlet. Having them change their pages to access /myWebApp/ABC.cgi instead would not go over well.

I'm not familiar with WebSphere plugin configuration, but you can configure Web Server to control which requests are passed to the plugin. In your current obj.conf file, the Service fn="as_handler" directive appears before all other Service directives, so the WebSphere plugin can choose to service any request. It appears that it's choosing to service all of them.
Instead, you could modify your obj.conf file so that Service fn="as_handler "is invoked only for certain requests. For example, you could remove Service fn="as_handler" from the default object and move it to a new object named "was":<Object name="WAS">
    Service fn="as_handler"
</Object>Then, in the object named "default", you could choose which requests should be treated as WAS requests:<Object name="default">
    NameTrans fn="assign-name" from="*.jsp" assign-name="WAS"
</Object>Again, I'm not familiar with WebSphere plugin configuration, so it may be possible to do the same sort of thing through the WebSphere plugin-cfg.xml.
(Since you're migrating from one application server version to another, I should point out that Web Server has a fully functional Servlet container built in. You could run all your Servlets in Web Server itself.)

  • No amendment after PO release

    Hi
I have require the solution on Purchase order.
After final release there should be not modifed Quantity /Prices
What setting we required in customizing
    Thanks

    hi,
    One solution is :
You can make the fields as a display fields For ME22N in the display mode...so that whenever you go to the change mode of the PO you will not be able to change it...
this can be done from :SPRO>> MM>> Purchasing >> PO >> Define screen layout>> Here choose from ME22N > ANd make the fields display....
    Or
You can use the changability indicator in the release strategy, if you don't allow the changed PO for the release, then automatically, it will not affect the further process...
    Hope it helps..

  • Scale Price redetermination in order modification

    Hi,
The situation I met is the following :
Price scale registered on material/customer with minimum quantity of 100 UN.
Order created with quantity on material of 150 UN.
    Order saved.
Price scale modification : minimum quantity is increased to 170 UN.
When I got back into modification into the order, I modified a text, the system redetermined automatically the scale price when saving. And a PR00 at 0 € was saved then (incomplete order).
I tested on a standard price without scale with a standard order, there was no price redetermination done in VA02 at all.
Is it standard SAP this redetermination for scale price in the order ?
If not, where can I check this specific in the programs?
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Anna

  • Development request: Possibility to deactivate average price modifications

Currently SAP B1 modifies the average price for a company with continues stock valuation method in goods returns and credit memos. This behaviour (at least for the Spanish localization) is wrong by definition, as it should only modify purchase documents. SAP B1 should only modify the average price for the following documents:
    1.     Goods Receipt PO without base document
    2.     Goods Receipt PO with base document
    3.     AP Invoice without base document
    4.     AP Invoice with base document, only if thereu2019s a price difference between both documents)
    5.     Landed Costs
To solve this issue, SAP B1 should allow deactivating average price modification on company level. For example extend the Document Settings and add a check that indicates if the document modifies the average price or not.
This issue has been a problem for a long time in SAP B1 and is normally being avoided omitting continues stock valuation.
    Thanks and regards,
    Arjen van Muijen

    Hi,
Material number decided for material type as internal or external based on assignment in t.code: MMNR.
    Use T.code: MMNR {client=======> 802}
Check u201CNumber range group textu201D assigned to your customized material type and it should be internal. If you want external, then follow steps:
Create u201CNumber range group textu201D for external in MMNR t.code, in the Menu Click Group -> maintain-> again click Group->insert
    Next Screen
    define
Number range group text for external ZZ
From Number ___A__ and TO Number ZZZZZZZZZZZu2026u2026..(select ext check box)
    and
    double click u201Ccustomized material type"
and select check box of your "Number Range Group text " for external ZZ and click Element/Group in the Application Bar and Save.
Now create material with customized material type, you can create material with external entry.
NOTE: If already Number range group text for external there/created (as you are creating material with external numbering for other material type) , then just assign to  u201C customized material type" (which not created with external numbering ) by double clicking customized material type and select check box of u201CNumber range group textu201D  and click Element/Group in the Application Bar and save.
