Master Audio Level Not Showing

My individual audio levels show but the master is on and off. When I get it, I can't figure out how I got it. Any ideas?

with me, I was trouble shooting Premiere CC 2014.2's inability for proper 5.1 sound mix.
I can hear all audio tracks fine, and all tracks display in the audio mixer except for the master is displayed intermittantly. It makes for trouble shooting Premiere's inability 2014.2 to properly map the Lfe channel pretty tough when the master 5.1 track will not display.
WIth 2014.2 the Lfe bleeds into the left front track.
I have trouble shot this (along with many others) before and got nowhere. A recent awakening of one of those threads had me retrace my frustrating attempts. Further frustrated when I could hear the Lfe being bled into the front left channel, knew it was bleeding, but could not see any channel in the master output, only could see input channels.
my trouble shooting was diverted into just getting the master audio track to display the 6 channel output of the 5.1 audio.
After actually locking in the master audio output display, all attempts were futile to achieve proper 5.1 audio mapping.

Master audio level goes "red"

I just want to know what it means when my master audio level goes up to the "red" level and wont come back down until I pause the clip? Also does this effect anything else within the video such as other audio levels or quality?

What that means is there was some point in that clip where the audio peaked in the "red" level. Which suggests carefully monitoring this during playback for where that appears, or perhaps applying some sort of limiting or compression effect on the clip.

A: When a group is created on master console it will be pushed to all the managed amp which is added with Manage group configuration enabled. The Group pushed to the managed amp will be created as Global group and you can create subscriber groups for the global group to which you will add the device into since we cannot add any devices into global group directly.
Hence there is no device added to the global group, on the master console it does not show any device count for the groups that are created on master console.

Video / Audio Filters not showing up in "Viewer" tab?

Hi, I recently re-installed Final Cut Express v4.0.1 after a hard drive crash. Now the video and audio filters do not show up on the Viewer Screen. They show up on the "Effects" menu tab (though video transitions do not). I've attempted uninstall / reinstall and deleting preferences but still no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You may not have deleted the dodgy app fully as there are numerous hidden folders.

Audio is not showing up in the browser nor the timeline???

i have a question. i recorded a video and viewed it and the video and audio is working. when i imported it and it showed up on the browser the audio outputs were not showing up. also when i tried to dragged it to the timeline the audio tracks didnt show up either. what could this be?? i have a sony dvcam hdv deck in which someone used it and im thinking maybe they changed some settings on the deck?? help please!!??

The VU meter is the audio meter (see FCE 4 user manual from page 56). If a clip include any audio, this meter should move when clip is played from browser to viewer.
The camera audio should be 16 bit 48 kHz. You can use 32 kHz if you select the correct preset in Easy setup dialog box.
Did you see the link provided earlier for patch panel bay use?
The patch panel switch is the way to tell to FCE where (understand on exact layer) adding video and audio in timeline. If the audio switches are disconnected, the edit will insert only video. There is a contextual menu to reset the patch panel switch.

IP - Aggregation Level not showing in Query Designer as infoprovider

Hi guys
I just started implementing Integragted Planning at a new client. I created an aggregation level to build my input ready query. However this aggregation level is not available as an inprovider in the Query Designer nor is it available under the infocube in RSA1 on which the aggregation has been defined.
Any suggestions?

Good point. But I could not see the aggregation level whatsoever in RSA1. The aggregation level is consistent and activated but does not show in the query designer.
I was wondering if there is some configuration that I have to do to get the aggregation level available in the query desginer.

Master Page elements not showing up on top...

I'm newer to ID and the industry in general...with no prior experience. Running CS6 on Windows 8.1. I have existing documents that were shared with me where the master page elements always appear on top, meaning on top of pages or items placed in a document. Those items are surrounded by a red dotted line, and I cannot edit those in any way, shape or form. I am working in a new document and all my master page elements have a blue dotted line and do not show up on top of anything no matter what I do and the option to Arrange isn't there. I know I must be missing a really simple step, but in all of the videos and tutorials I've read and watched, this has never been addressed. What am I missing? See images below (added the green box to show an item on the page showing up on top of the master page stuff.) Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

The color is derived from the color code for the layer. You’ll need to go to the master page to edit the items.

Master Data Attr not showing in query

Iam having some queries in Bex built by previous developer. We recently enhanced customer master by three fields. When I wanted to add it in queries, I can only able to see those address fields in one query rest of 5 queries are not showing the new enhanced attributes.in fact I cant see any attribute (eg: 0sold_to has 20 attributes but its just showing 0country as the attr) I dont know why the rest are not showing. Also, when I tried to create a new query, I can able to see all the attributes for 0sold_to , 0ship_to etc...but the existing query doesnt showing the attributes ? Does any body know why the attributes are not shwoing in current query / do i need to uncheck something / unhide something in Bex for the existing query...I want to add the new fields only in existing query,I dont want to create a new one...

Hi Sam,
If you go to the report and do Change query global definition then you should be able to see the new attributes on the left side of the query designer and then you drag and drop them on the right side. If your attributes are navigational then you will have to turn them on as navigational in the Cube/DSO too, then only you can see them in the query.

Audio Waveforms Not Showing In Timeline - Bug Report

When I send P2 Footage from Prelude to PP, the audio waveforms on the timeline do not show, even though the settings are correct. I have to close PP and then reopen it and then they show. It is some sort of a bug. I'm on Mac OS 10.9, latest version, fast computer. Anyone else having this issue?

There are three kind of audio tracks, stereo, mono and 5.1. Mono can only be placed in a mono track, stereo only in a stereo track and 5.1 only in a 5.1 track. By default a new sequence has three stereo tracks, so when you enter mono material, a new mono track is created in track 4.
In your case you probably have 6 audio tracks of one kind and the 'lost' one is another kind of track and that is the reason it ends up in track 7. You can of course delete empty audio tracks, which will cause track 7 to move up.

Audio levels not sticking when I reopen FCPX

Some of my audio levels are dropping 3 or 4 dB when I launch FCPX after it has been closed for a while. Then, at some point after I have gone through and adjusted the bad levels, they adjust themselves again and are now 3 or 4 dB hot.
The audio isn’t all in the Storyline, some is narration without video and other is audio linked to video. The only “effects” I have added to the audio is to make it “Dual Mono” and set the pan to “Default.”
As I write this, I discovered that if I went to ONE of the clips in question and changed it to Stereo and then back to Dual mono and also changed the pan to None and then back to Default, ALL the bad audio levels in the project corrected themselves. (Not sure if just making one of those adjustments will do the same thing - I’ll try that the next time this problem crops up.)
VERY STRANGE.
I’m posting in hopes this will help others who may be having the same problem.

Not sure why such weird behavior occurs (Could it be caused by some corrupted preferences therefore trashing them could solve the problem?). however, as a work around have you tried to copy and paste attributes from the audio clip in sequence 1 to the audio clip in sequence 2? That should give you the same keyframes you had in the copied clip (Original sequence).

Master Data is not showing for 0Customer info obeject in the portal

I'm facing an issue with 0CUSTOMER Info object. When I tried to execute the query from Query designer(BI 7.0) it is not showing all the customers in filter for 0CUSTOMER in WEB but it is showing all values for other characteristics(i.e 0MATERIAL).
I tried to execute same query in Bex Analyser and RSRT but it is showing all the customers list in filter for 0CUSTOMER. I have this problem in WEB only
Please suggest me why 0CUSTOMER is not showing all the values in WEB.

in WEB, all values wont be displayed in single page if the list is too long, There will be a button to navigate to the next page and select. Please check that.

Article master Purchasing view not showing up

We are using SAP retail and just created some articles using MM41. However, when I go to MM42 the purchasing view is not showing up. What could be the reason? Need help

May be while creating a Material initially they have not selected purchasing view when they created the material.
If you want the purchasing view then we have to extend the material to the purchasing views which is done b MM50. select purchasing view and then maintain the relevant data for the material.

Audio book not showing on ipad

I can not see my audio books on my ipad without searching for them from search ipad. I have synced the ipad with my computer using wireless and cable but nothing shows up in music > more for audio books. I am using the updated 7.0.3. I synced my iphone and they show up. I origanally downloaded the books on my ipad, but I have synced with my computers itune a few times. Any help would be appreciated.

When you use the search box are you able to then select the audiobooks and play them, and do they show in Settings > General > Usage > Music ?
Have you tried closing the Music app via the iPad's multitasking bar and seeing if you get the Audiobooks tab at the bottom of the Music app when you re-open the app ? Double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the Music app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.

Audio Tracks not showing in itunes.

After transferring audio tracks to itunes library I am manually dragging them to my ipod shuffle and the songs are shown in the shuffle but when I am deleting the tracks from the itunes library then nothing is shown in the ipod shuffle folder of itunes but the settings tab shows the amount of space used and the songs are present in the ipod as I can play them. I am not able to manage or change the sequence of song in shuffle since it is not shown in the device folder of itunes.How will I be able to see the list of songs presently transferred in my ipod shuffle if I delete them from the itunes library ?

Shuffle works differently from the "Ipod classic 160GB". There is NO additional help for this issue.

Audio CD not showing up in iTunes. Why?

Apologies for posting in 2 different discussion areas, but I'm not sure if this is an iTunes or a MacBook problem

When I insert an audio CD in to my MacBook, the CD mounts on the desktop but doesn't appear in iTunes.
It seems that iTunes knows the disc is there, as I get the pop up box that says "accessing gracenote". But the CD just doesn't appear in the left hand pane.
I'm a fairly experienced mac user, & I've not experienced this on any of my previous machines (iBook / MacMini / Powerbook).
...any ideas?

When you click the cd icon on the desktop, what kind of file it shows on the finder windows?
Is it like musical note icon with file name track 1 , track 2, etc?
Try to click one of them and see if it will play automatically on iTunes.
Does it happen only for specific cd or all of your cd.
On iTunes preference > Advanced > Importing > choose "show CD" on CD Insert section.
On system preference CDs & DVDs > when you insert a music cd > Open iTunes.
Repair permission might help your problem too.
