Master change Data issue

Hi experts
I have to do the checks of MM12 tansactions without using it.
i.e I have to check if the planned change date and change number belongs to the material and Plant to be updated.How can i check that?
is there any table which maintains the relationship between these values.

Hi Dhanya,
In the selection screen of this table, you have the option of entering material and plant.(There are so many other options also avl)
Input the required material/plant then the system will display you limited results for that combination.
Unfortunately I am a functional guy and dont have any code with me. But still if you dont understand then I will mail you the details with screenshot.

Master load data issue

Hi Gurus,
I was doing full load to 0material. It looks to me attribute profit center of 0material is wiped out. As per my knowledge if multiple full load jobs are running it should do over write but the attribute value is wiped out. Any clue ?

Vendor Master Changes updation

I am developing a Smartform for Vendor Master Changes.
My requirement is at top i wanna print the date when the Vendor's Master data was changed. I dont wanna capture the date when the smartform was executied.
once again i am requesting you that i wanna capture the Vendor Master Changes date on to the Smartform. Please help me.

Hi Vamshi,
You can use the field udate from table CDHDR .I am referring to this as we can see this feild in report S_ALR_87012089 which gives the date of last change in vendor master if you give the vendor number in the selection screen.So what you can do is that you can pick the values from it..

QM Master data issue

Dear all,
We want to begin using the INPUT PROCEDURE addin in our QM module, we already have customized this addin but now we are facing a master data issue, that is, when we update the inspection characteristics master data, the actual inspection plans do not take this changes into account.
My first question is: Is there any way to force the actual inspection plans to be updated with the actual inspections characteristics parameters ?
In particular, we want to force the option 'Input processing' in the control indicator, and the Input processing value in the Quant. Data.
Alternatively, is there any way to mass update this informations directly at inspection plan-characteristic level ?

I followed this steps, actually already had the 'Replace master insp. characteristics' indicator set, however, when I do changes in a MIC, either creating a new version or not, the system does not show the list of where used plans.
Maybe is there further customizations ?

Master data Issue --- materials have unassigned or # values ...!!

Hello Experts,
I am facing an issue that the Customer Data is missing in a BEx Report.
Data Flow is 2LIS_13_VDITM --> DSO1 --> Merging DSO --> Cube --> Multiprovider --> Bex Report.
Exact issue is Customers in the Bex Report has unassigned to Sales Office, Sales Group, Sales District.
The only reason a customer should show up under u201Cunassignedu201D or u201C#u201D is if itu2019s improperly set up in the system.
customers are assigned with two values. one which has data and the other which has unassigned value.
I wanted to know, how do i check if the matierials are valid to have unassigned Values ?
Checked the Merging DSO and saw that there are actually values assigned values for the affected matierials.
After that checked the Cube data values are displayed except the Master Data values.
I guess..its completely related to Master data. I would like to know how can i resolve this issue.
Please reply me if you face this kind of master data issue in your expeiriance.

Are Sales Office, Sales Group, Sales District are attributes of Customer?
In case they are, then the customers will be unassigned to Sales Office, Sales Group, Sales District in case the data for these attributes is loaded to the customer attributes.
and also check if the customer characteristic is properly assigned in the multiprovider.

Verizon mades changes in the coding and now Windows Phone 7 is having data issues!!!

Starting about 3 weeks ago, I stopped receiving text messages and even worse stopped receiving calls yet alone my voicemails. I have changed not one thing to my phone, everything is exactly the way it was before the issues arised. Now I have to trick my phone to receive my data by dialing into my voicemail... And then what do you know, 30 text mesages, 12 voicemails!!!
The voicemails wont even tell you the date or time stamp (the time the voicemail was received). After numerous *228 and talking with level 2 over the holidays, I see a huge article on multiple news sites stating Verizon is having data issues... Dropped calls, loss of data, no signal while all our phone keep showing full bars and 3g. Verizon stated its only happening on there 4gLTE system and not 3G but thats a load of crap.
All one has to do is a google search of loss of text messages or voicemails on Verizon and you will see 100's up to 1000's of users like you and me all experiencing the same issues. And not just with Windows Phone 7, but with there baby Driod and iPhone as well.
What really ****** me off is that Verizon loves to play the blame game or pass the buck game. Hard Reset your phone and that will solve the problem... Yeah Right. If this was our OS and we updated a driver that changed the OS in the background I can see that being the solution. But for the 100's or 1000's of users that go to work daily, check there emails and text daily, and haven't changed one thing on the phone... THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!
Now I read an articile for someone extermely close to Microsoft stating that Verizon turned down Nokia's new 4GLTE phone because they have no faith in the operating system and I have to think that maybe behind the scenes Verizon is trying to force us off Windows Phone 7 platform with data issue behind the scene and try to get us all into the Droid Platform which they make 50% of the cash off the phone just like the iPhone...
This is a joke, and I am really starting to think about going to ATT and getting the HTC Titan or the new Nokia 900. I have already research a 3 party app that will allow you to backup and restore your phone. And just read that Microsoft just put out an ad for backup, restore and cloud backup programmers for this latest feature.
Verizon the games need to stop, Verizon you need to stand behind this Platform, Verizon you need to provide better service for all us 3G users!!!

Change goods Issue date and delivery date

while crating Sales document through VA01
i want to replace goods issue date (VBEP-WADAT ) with my Z calender date.
so that delivery date(ETDAT) aslo should chaged automatically ( bcz iof the change in goods isuue date ).
how to achive this ?
i tryied in Program program of MV45AFZZ/ MV45AFZB in the User Exists mentioned below:
1. Form Userexit_Check_VBEP
2. Form userexit_move_field_to_vbep
i was able to change goods issue date (VBEP-WADAT ) but not refleting in output screen,..

Even it did not update in my user exit when I update from VBEP-WADAT. So, I did back calculation (considering route lead time) and updated Delivery date field VBEP-EDATU. It is simple. I have given the sample code as below.

Change History of Material master classification data

Dear all.
How can we see the change history of the Material master classification data.
Whether any standard report exists which can give this Change History data or whether we can find from any tables?
Please let me know your thoughts on this

changes in values for a characteristic can be monitored in CL20N via menu Environment > Change documents
change history for classification is only stored if you activated this.
if it is not set active in your system, then see SAP Note 943559 - FAQ: Frequently asked questions about the classifctn. system
it has instruction how to active it.

Vendor Master change - Message 00055

Dear Gurus,
There is no issue in changing the vendor master, but suddenly in Change - Contact Persons screen (Vendor master change), the system prompts to Fill in all required entry fields (which is mandatory - the system pops suddenly, but its not happened previsouly). Below is the message, when i see in F1

It is possible that a mandatory field is hidden (suppressed) in the vendor master fields. That would help explain why this just started happening. Check "Define Account Groups with Screen Layout (Vendors)" and "Define Screen Layout per Company Code (Vendors)" in the IMG to verify the vendor master screens have not been changed.

While Enabling CDC on database I am getting below error, Can any body help me please...

that's not a good advice because the stored procedure is a system procedure and not visible :).
Try to find it in master or the database itself - it will fail!

@Vikas: make sure you are connected in network (it is a domain account right), or you can try with local admin account see if it works fine

Material master change access for a particular field

Dear Experts,
Can any one suggest me the posibility of doing the folliwing change.
Client needs to give the access to a user for MM02 transaction for updating only one field.
In Material master -- Plant data/Storage 1 view, there is a field called storage bin. (if we mention storagle location then only this field will be populated), user has to allowed to change this field only, he should not allowed to change the ramining fields in that view.
Please suggest me the posibilities for the above issue.

I started getting a BDOC error stating "You are not authorized to change data in sales area O 5000022/01" This is preventing the customer from replication into CRM from R/3. Any clues on how to address the issue?

I originally went that route but the BDOC error message give no indication of what account "You" refers too. Guess I will try and track it down on the R/3 side but I find it surprising that security is that granular since this is a middleware function. I would think authorization to manage the customer data in R/3 would be enough. Master Data folks who maintain data in R/3 side all have same role in CRM as well. Thanks for the lead, I will get back.

Data Issue

Hi All ..
           We are facing one data issue DSO. One record is worngly loaded with some project iD ( Ex record is having ID GE1234 insted of having LE4423) remaining details are same . we are loading the data furtherly to master data table from the DSO. if i try for reporting for project id LE4423 ,information not avilable because it is heaving wrong ID,it is key also.But in the Source system (CFG) side Data is correct with ID LE4423.
         In update rule we are following one to one mapping for all infoobjects.My requirement is i need to have in my DSo LE4423 . I need to overwrite the record id GE1234 with LE4423 without affecting other fields in the record.
        Shall i load till PSA with the ID LE4423 ..then if load this single record to DSO will overwrite the GE1234 by choosing other field as key field. but we are following one to one mapping in update rule.
Please help me on this. i need to hev a correct id for record.

You can use selective deletion to delete the record with Project ID = GE1234
Load the data till PSA
Load the data to DSO using selection Project ID = LE4423 in DTP from PSA.
check in further data targets also for mismatch of data

You will want to review information on replication and similar methods
In a nutshell:
Replication allowed data to exist at more than one site and take the Master / original table data and clone it at a different site
As tranporting all of the table data to a remote / clone site got more and more expensive we developed a method
to identify just the 'diffs' and only send those from the master to the clone which needed only the diffs to become a clone of the master table
This has many methods and options, but looking under key words such as
- distributed transations
- materialized views
- replication
... are a few categories that will get you started
