Master data failed ,(delta )is not requesting again.

HI All,
0profit center master data ATTR & Text failed .
Error: data record 3 (profit center 10697 )invalid from date.
(Master data load is Delta.)
It was showing that " Last delta incorrect repeat must be requested . When I am trying to schedule it is not requesting the data & message shows " repeat must be requested"
any one can help this

can any one suggest me, when I checked in PSA it was showing the particular profit center: 100697 from date is blank.
when I check in info object in rsa1, from date is available.
whether I can edit or I can ask the client about from date

Hi,
Create a multiprovider which includes transactional data target and master data info object. Make sure that identification for this master data info object is ticked on both the provider.
Create report on this multiprovider , keep the master data info object in rows , and now you should able to see all the values which are there in master data info object irrespective of transaction happened or not .
Next you may create condition showing only zero keyfigure values , ie. master data without any transaction.

Hi Arun
Check the data in PSA. You can find erroneous data in PSA and correct the same. Save the data in PSA. You can manually update the data from psa or in process chain just repeat the delta step. Before doing that delete the error request from the data target.

Process Chain Master Data Failed.Showing Entire chain has status R

Everyday SDMasterChain is running successfully.
Today one of the localChain or subchain has failed.
I have noticed that it has failed because last delta for one infoPackage has not yet completed and chain showing status "Entire chain now has status 'R'"
Can anybody resolve the issue?

There are times when Master Data load compel us to do Re-Init. I guess you need a Re-Init.

Master data failing with Duplicate records

Dear All,
Daily the ODS XD0SDO08 is getting loaded with four requests.
While loading Master data Delta from ODS XD0SDO08 to 0Doc_Number and Cube XD_SDC08, regularly it's getting failed with the error "54 duplicate record found. 1130 recordings used in table /BI0/XDOC_NUMBER" But after deleting the Request from the 0Doc_number and the cube XD_SDC08, and reconstructing from PSA, it is succcessfull.
If I check the PSA,there are few records in PSA, in which each Sales document number has two after image records and two before image records.If I count the number of these records they are almost equal to the number of Duplicate records we are getting in the error message.
As we are loading to cube XD_SDC08 and 0Doc_Number, we don't have the option of Ignore Duplicate records in the Infopackge.
Please suggest me a solution as I have to delete the request manually and reconstruct it daily.

As ur telling that data is sucessesful in cube but not in infoobject check the records in infoobject wheather their is M version and A version if both are there ..some times load fail with duplicate data record due to this problem ...Run Attribute change run for that infoobject and check ..
if this will also be not sucessesful ,and as per ur update after reconstruction it is sucessful means their will be problem in update rule heck once
another thing u will not get ignore duplicate data records because here infoobject as marked as data target ..

If the InfoObject which you are planning to delete data is used in any of the queries, users will have problems if they are running those queries. And, you can not delete the InfoObject data completly if it was used in any InfoCubes. You have to completly delete the data in InfoCubes before you can delete all InfoObject data.
I would simply init again without deleting the data, then activate the InfoObject data. I do not see any problem in doing this.

Master data load: texts are not loaded

Trying to load BW Hierarchy(0COSTCENTER) to BPC dimension(P_CC).
Loadedd master data & text data using package "Import master data from BI infoobject"(/CPMB/IMPORT_IOBJ_MASTER), but EVdescription (texts) are not uploaded ino BPC dimension (P_CC).
Because of above error, when i try to load hierarchy(0costcenter), sytem throwoing one more error(JScrpit evaluation error).
Now i want to load texts into P_CC. ours is bpc 75nw sp10.
Found 2 notes, but these are related to older support packges

Packages given bpc7.5 nw sp10 are is exactly working.
Mapping section:

becoz base members are automatically added with controlling area in BW hierarchy on 0costcenter.

for this object. but in reporting level i am getting the values # and 20(actual)
even though it has so many vales(ex: 10(plan)etc). but all the values are not populating in the query.how to get all the values in reporting level.

Hi Raju,
You have already confirmed, but still please go to infoobject 0VTYPE again and check the master data to see all values exits there.
If yes and still in reporting you can not see those, try doing the following:
1) Right click on 0VTYPE and click on "Activate Master Data", and/or
2) Go to Menu --> select Attribute change run --> select 0VTYE and execute the changes.

Master Data -- unable to delete the request

I loaded master data for 0EMPLOYEE info object, all the records Added but the request is in Read,
I am trying to QM status Green Manually it is giving the message QM action not allowed for DTP requests in master data and Text Tables .
I am unable to delete the request also, when I am trying to delete it is saying
Error:
Data inconsistency; Partition /BIC/B0000959000 not deleted

Diagnosis
In table RSTSODSPART you selected all the requests of a partition to be deleted logically. Some entries partno = 0 still exist in the partition. Therefore the partition is not deleted.
System Response
The system outputs an error when deleting the partition.

Check the table for data consistency.

When i am trying to load 0material master data , i get the following error :
0MATERIAL:Data record 1 ('000000000000100001 '): Version '000000000000100001 ' is not valid RSDMD 194
System diagnosis :
Data record 1 & with key '000000000000100001 &' is invalid in value '000000000000100001 &' of the attribute or characteristic 0material &.
System response
The system has recognized that the value mentioned above is invalid, and has processed this general error message. A subsequent message may give you more information on the error. This message refers to the same value, even though it does not state this explicitly.
Procedure
If this message appears during a data load, maintain the attribute in the PSA maintenance screens. If this message appears in the master data maintenance screens, leave the transaction and call it again. This allows you to maintain your master data.
Please help me solve this problem. Will assign points.

Master Data Load - Number records not match

I am loading the 0PLANT table. In R3, it shows 966 records. After running the InfoPackage, there are 966 records in the PSA, none in error. But I get a message - Number of records requested does not match number transferred (packet 1).
This is a first use of a new source system to this BW. All master data loads give me the same error.
What is setup wrong?

For the same 0PLANT we load data on daily basis. Not only for this but also for more Master Data Objects. For some of them we used to get this message but not as an Error. On pressing the Update Tree (Refresh) it will change the status.
Anyway u got the records in the PSA so there is no problem with the data load. What signal u find in the Monitor ? Yellow or Red ? If yellow wait for some time, press Update Tree.

Load for Profit center Master data Fails?

When i am trying to load profit center master data the load fails with this error message

YYBRAND : Data record 87 ('00100000001084 '): Version 'Alter Echo ' is not valid

Looks like the input data needs to be corrected. See if the messages are coming from:
   a) Update/Transfer rules?
if you are loading from a flat file...preview and check all the field values in the relevant records (1, 59, 87, etc...)

Master Data uploaded to ODS not generated automatically

Hello gurus!!
I have an issue with a query that gets its information from and ODS.
After the variable selection is done the error message:
"Value '' (hex. '') of characteristic contains invalid characters"
"System error in program SAPLRRK0 and form RSRDR;SRRK0F30-01-" (BRAIN 299 )
If you go to the ODS you can see the lines correctly but you can't see them on the Bex query.. workbooks.. etc.
The issue has the following remarks:
1. Comes up on certain selection (not all)
2. The issue lies over the uploaded data from ECC system..
3. Data is loaded directly (meaning it doesn't have any other ODS or object between ECC and it self..
4. The Infopackage is loading information and it has the "Always update data, even if no master data exists for the data" flag marked. But it doesn't update master data correctly for 2 characteristcis.. meaning it updates data for most but some lines are in the ODS that don't exist in the MD..
5. Both these characteristics are texts.. and if I add a blank space or delete it from R3 and delete and reload in BW it works correctly.. But there are to many issues and its very time consumin to solve one line at a time.
6. Both these Characteristics hace there sid table but they cant be maintained since they don't have Master data table or views..
I've tried using RSRV transaction so solve it, since it detects SID issues but it doesn't work..
I've also tried marking the "Lowercase Letters" flag in the characteristics and reloading but it doesn't work eather..
I've searched for SAP notes but haven't been able to find a note that could solve this issue..

Master Data-Generic Delta

hello guys
I have some doubts when it comes Generic Extraction of Master Data from a source system(say SAP R3) with possible deltas...
1.I heard from my friend,that while working with Master Data Generic Extraction (involving deltas),we generally do FULL LOADS....itsnot a common practise to do initialisation and then delta update as in the case of Transaction Data...Is that true?
I know that it varies from case to case,but generally speaking,how often do we do these FULL LOADS?
2.Suppose,if I say,I will go the unusual way and choose to do Master Data Deltas exactly like we do with Transaction Data deltas(first initialisation with data transfer then delta updates now and then)....how do we choose if its time stamp or numeric pointer incase of Master Data fields....
suppose,I want to set characteristic 'Location' as delta-field,what do I choose out of numeric pointer,calendar day and time stamp?and why should I choose it?
how about incase of Characteristic 'Customer Phone number'?

Hi ,
In generic delta you can choose only one field as delta option ie whatever changes happens for a record thar field shold get updated only then you will get delta for those records.
Choosing numeric pointer for text fields like location wont help for you. May be phone number you can try as numeric pointer if it is purely a number series which uses new numbers always.
If you are choosing these fields whenever there in chamge in this fields you will get delta. No other change in the same record will be captured
