Is it possible to assign bom component quantity to operatio/phase partially in master recipt?

Yes it is possible.
Goto C202 material tap BOM Tab (Object List) change the quantity and come back and check. Also you have option Like production version according to the requirement.

Work center decision

Dear all,
Ex- Reactor is main work center main , under this we r having different type of reactors like R1,R2, R3
my client want to maintain main rector(work center) in master recipt, and they will take a perticular work center decision at time of creation of process order. means they will change work center reactor to R1 or R2 as per avaibility of machin
I suggested, Initially sytem copy std. master recipt in process order , then u will make a changes of work center at process order lavel as per you requirement.
Is it ok suggetion ? or do u have any different idea?

Dear,
There is one more way to incorporate such requirement.
Create additional master recipes which includes different work center.Then create different production version to incorporate that different master recipe and work centers.
Now at the time of production release or creation do the selection of required production version as per the work center availability.

1. In OMBR indicate the printer name as LOCL,Item print indicator as 1,Print version-2
2. In M706 ,mantain output types for WE01/02/03 (as requiired),Also check the default value ,dispatch time-3/4,Tr medium-1 ,print parametr-7
3.In OMJ3 mantain output device for all the plants
4.in MN21 for output type WE,mantain print version-3 ,print item as 1.
Then in MIGO check the print check box and than going to MB90 get the document number and execute for getting print out.

Scenario of Goods Recipt without P.O

Hi Experts,
My Client wants a automatic P.O to be created while doing the Goods Recipt with 101 Movement Type.
The Scenario is as Follows.
One of his Vendor has came to show the 20 sample Material But, Infact there is an requirement of these material for production.
And Out of 20 Materials he require 15 On Spot. And he wants Directly to do GR with 101 Movement Type and Auto-PO Creation in Background. He wants as usual Inventory Stock to Debit and GR/IR to credit asusual.
As it is not a Cash Purchase with Movement Type 501, Apart from this he wants to Process MIRO for that Procured material without P.O , and P.O to generate in Background.
a) Can we Process MIGO with Movement Type 101 without Purchase Order Created ?
b) Can P.O be created automatically in Background for the recieved goods with 101 Movement Type ?
c)Background Automatically Created P.O Number can be Utilised for processing MIRO ?
Please Help me out with your Valuable advice.

Hi Javed,
As i understand your requirement you need to generate a PO while posting GR with Mov type 101.
For this there is a standard process, Auto PO on GR.
Certain prerequisites are required
1. Material has to be valuated, Material number required.
2. Standard Purchase Organisation has to be assignned to the plant in Customizing.
(Enterprise Structure->Assignment->Materials Management->Assign standard purchasing organization to plant )
3. Valid Info record for the materail at std POrg.
4. Activate Auto PO for Mvnt type 101 in Customizing.
Materials Management->Inventory Management and Physical Inventory->Goods Receipt->Create Purchase Order Automatically
5. Flag Autom. PO in Purchasing view of Material Master.
6. Flag Automatic Purchase Order for Vendor.
Once the obove settings are completed in MIGo,
Create Goods Receipt with reference to Purchase Order, enter mvnt type 101,
Click on the icon NON-Ordered Item just below the Item Overview.
Make the entries of the material, Quantity, vendor and post.

With what value finish product as come when we do goods recipt for oa prodution order in make to order scenerio.
The material is not talking standard price form th e material master when we are doing goods recipt.

If you use non-valuated sales order stock (account assignment E) there will ne no value posting at all during GR, thus also no accounting document. The full actual costs (that Pankaj listed) will be posted during settlement of the production order.

QM view material master (Inspection Type)

 I didn't understood the pragmatic usage of the check box inspection by configuration & inspection by characteristics.......that can be set for the inspection types..........

If you set this indicator, the system takes the configurations from the sales or production order into account when inspection lots are created and changes or supplements the inspection specifications in the task list or material specification.
The indicator only works for the following inspection lot origins:
o 01 Goods recipt for purchase order
o 03 Production
o 04 Goods receipt for production order
The indicator cannot be used for the inspection lot origins 10 and 11.
Example
When creating the sales order, the customer defines that the pH value of the product to be manufactured should be between 5.0 and 5.5. When an inspection lot is created for the resulting production order, this tolerance is then copied into the inspection.
Dependencies
The specifications are only copied into the inspection lot if there is a link between the class characteristic and a master inspection characteristic.

when we doing goods recipts through mvt type 101 , Then accounting doc is genreted but in account assignment Business area doesn't show. business area is alraedy assigned with sales area. pls help

Can not refresh page after save properly(When not saving master record)

I am using jdeveloper 11g R2 (11.1.2.3) JSF Facelet
In some use case I have Address as master table and Person as detail table
For some business reason I need to don't save same addresses
eg:
If +1 Test St+ is in database already and new user coming and adding this address with new person
I need to use the row in database not creating a new address
I do saving in doDML method of Address with some hashing algorithm and it is fine
My problem is that I can not refresh page after save properly
User coming to page think Adding a new address and a new person but in fact no new
address added because of business I describe above
Any ideas how I can implement this?

Hi,
from your description it is not clear why the page doesn't refresh. It could be a problem in your implementation code - who knows. What if you perform the address check on a command button that actually submits the new address? If the check returns true (address exists) you would call row.refresh(forget new row); and re-query the view object so the address coming from the database is displayed. If you wanted to use the doDML then yuou need to be aware that doDML doesn't help removing the row the user created. It just ignores the database update but the entity is still around, which in my suggested solution wont be the case.

Can not refresh snapshot changes after importing data of master site

Hello !
I have two database computer,one as master site,one as snapshot site.Because the error of the hard disk of master computer,I use the exporting data file to recover my database.after importing ,I found I can't refresh the refreshgroup on snapshot,who can tell me why?

You haven't listed the errors that you're receiving when attempting to refresh your refresh group, but if your snapshots are attempting to fast refresh, I suspect it's because the creation timestamp of the snapshot log on the master site is newer than the creation timestamp of the snapshot. In this case you will need to do a complete refresh of the snapshot (or drop and recreate the snapshot) before you will be able to fash refresh it again.
If this is not the case, please post the errors you are receiving when you attempt to refresh the refresh group.

Can not find master data in the cube

ItemNo is an navigation attribute of 0Material. We are using 0material in a cube. When I display the cube data include ItemNo, I don't find the data I am looking for. For example:
In 0Material:
0Material      ItemNo    Description
AAA                001           Test
BBB                002           Test
In the cube I expect to see:
0Material             ItemNo            On Hand Qty
AAA                      001                      1000
BBB                      002                       2000
Instead I saw:
0Material             ItemNo            On Hand Qty
AAA                                                1000
BBB                                                2000
0Material got refreshed after cube data got loaded. Is that why I don't find the refreshed Master data?

Hi,
When you laod the cube, the Values for Master are automatically get created in the master data (If they are not present earlier and with "Data Update Type in the Data Tragets" setting in InfoPackage).
Now when you are loading your cube with 0Material and Item Number, the values for Item Number seems blank. Thats the reason why you are not able to see the Item Number in Cube though it is present in Master. Because now these are two different keys, one with Item Number value and other without Item Number value.

Unable to capture field values in Master agreement Line Items

I am trying to get the field values from master agreement line items page. I have written the following code to get the line item details which is working fine to capture part number and quantity->

This will return the name of the plant.
.getExtensionField("PLANT").get().getDisplayName(session);
Check if this returns the product category
collectionbean.getExtensionField("ITEM_CAT").get().getDisplayName();
This will Return the Price
collectionbean.getExtensionField("PRICE").get().getPrice();
(return type :BigDecimal)
This will return the currency
collectionbean.getExtensionField("PRICE").get().getCurrency;
(Return type:String)
Similarly to retrieve other fields for which there are no standard functions, use .getExtensionField("Field ID")

Failure to install Creative Cloud Master for Windows

Hi all,
I am using an Enterprise Creative Cloud and have packaged the Adobe CC Master for Windows.
I have followed the rules of installation by installing Acrobat XI first.
Upon installation of Acrobat, I proceeded to install Creative Cloud by going to the Build folder and install the Setup.exe by running as an Administrator. I have also disabled my anti-virus scanner as well. It starts to scan my harddisk and there is a progress bar that displays. Mid-way down the installation process, it just stops installing and it immediately uninstalls by displaying the progress-bar back to the start.
Why is this so? I understandthat by having an Entreprise account does not need you to go by the normal way of going to the Creative Cloud Manager to download and have a password to type in right?
Can anyone help me?

Thanks for your prompt response.
For some strange reasons, after I restarted my computer, disabled my anti-virus again and run the setup.exe using the administrator rights, it manages to install the CC apps within the build folder.
However, may I know how do I install both Edge Reflow and Edge Code? As I am using an enterprise edition, I don't see these 2 products within the Build or Exclusions folder. Must I log in to the Creative Cloud (using my Adobe ID and password) to download them?
If I log-in using my adobe account, will Adobe start charging me which will be ludicrous as I already have an enterprise edition.
What gives?

Master data is not getting displayed in the Report in Quality

HI Experts,
I have ZESP_Num as master for my transaction data.
I have loaded the data in the Development and designed and checked my report. It is working fine.
But after moving it to Quality. My report is not getting the master data.
When I try to do right click manage ZESP_Num.
I'm getting message like this.
The data from the InfoProvider ZESP_NUM involved could not be checked
Message no. DBMAN242
Diagnosis
A participating InfoProvider is virtual and aggreement between results and selections cannot be guaranteed.
Can anyone plz help me.

Master data is not getting displayed in the Query Designer

Hi,
I have a DSO in which I have an InfoObject called Emp No. in the Data Field.
The Emp.No is being maintained as master with (Emp Name, Address, Telephone No, DOB) as attributes.
I have loaded the data in the Emp. No. master. Then tried loading the transaction data in DSO.
The Emp.No is there in the DSO active data, but in the query designer its not getting displayed.
