Install JUST PS CS6 from CS6 Master Suite Collection Student/Teacher Edition (Digital)

I received the CS6 Master Suite Collection from my University (Digital Copy) and I only want to install Photoshop. I have the serial number for Master Suite CS6 but the serial does not work for JUST PS CS6. I can download PS CS6 but during the install it crashes after it gets through 100% of the install and it says the following items can not be installed and it shows the PS CS6 icon. What can I do to get this issue resolved?

I guess what I'm trying to say is unclear. I am using my wife's MacBook Pro. I have my MacBook Pro's Hard drive in an external sata enclosure. I have OS Lion 10.7.4 that I partioned 32GB from my main hard drive do I can use that OS.
I understand what everyone is saying about downloading MS to to another section hard drive and just running the installer on my Lion OS so I can just select PS CS6. If you look at the pictures above, you can see that I actually did just that and ran the PS CS6 installer. It webt through the entire process until the end and it kept crashing on me. I've used adobe cleaner but the only thing that was on my Lion OS was adobe air. I removed adobe air with the adobe cleaner and started from scratch. I also removed the corrupted files after every install.
I restarted a few times and ran into the same issue. I have figured out how to get into safe mode. After you hold option to bring up the OS you want to boot into, you hold shift before you press enter on your selection. I am in safe mode now. I have tried just installing the PS CS6 and it still crashes at the very end of the installaltion and shows this screen.

Getting error- Cannot open as archive for CS6 Master suite collection. How to d/l & install?

I have an account and a license key code. I purchased a new laptop that doesn't have a dvd drive. I want to download CS6 Master Suite Collection but I keep getting error "cannot open as archive"!!! I have already located the d/l files, but they will NOT install. Does anyone know how to get around this problem?

if you downloaded an exe and 7z, they should both be in the same folder and click (or double click) the exe.
do NOT manually try to extract the 7z file.
if that doesn't solve your problem, what file names and extensions did you download and what are their file sizes?

Trial install asks for disk to install - CS6 Master Suite

I installed the Master Suite collection quite a while ago on a previous computer with no problem. Now though, I'm being asked for a disk just to go through with a trial installation.
I'll clck on "trial" installation choice. I'll click on "next" and it'll look like it's going to install. However, after a few moments, it'll stop and ask me to insert the disk to continue. It's a trial, so what disk?

I currently run CS 5.5 Master Suite Collection.
I plan to upgrade my computing platform from being a PC laptop, to a combination of a Mac laptop and a Mac desktop.
Can you please advise on the best fit in terms of upgrade for my Adobe Suite? Do I need two purchases, one for laptop, one for desktop? Or will one purchase cover both?
Can I be logged into both laptop and desktop att the same time? For example using one to work on Photoshop while the other renders video and animation in AfterEffects and Premiere?
would I need to install each component on each platform, or can I have a common set up easily rolled out?

Normally one purchase is good for two machines, but that is under the condition that only one machine is using the purchased software (the suite in this case) at any given time. If you intend to be using the suite on two machines simultaneously then you will need two licenses (or subscriptions, depending how you upgrade).

Creative suite master collection cs6 needs an upgrade to stop all error reports

I have been advised by Apple and the people who supplied my laptop that my creative suite master collection cs6 needs an upgrade to stop all my error reports and to get the programs to run smoothly.
I have been told theat Adobe can supply me with one?

In general CS6 should run fine under Mavericks. If you have a particular application you use a lot, like Premiere Pro, ask in that forum.

If I uninstall Master Collection CS6 Trial will this affect my Prod Premium CS6 Suite

I recently purchased the Production Premium CS6 Suite. Prior to this I did a Master Collection CS6 Trial install. Now every time I click on a PDF, the MS Trial Ended window opens. My question is: if I uninstall the Master Collection cs6 trial, will this affect my Production Premium cs6 Suite???

dddavies, The reason for you getting that Trial window is that your Acrobat might be still associated with the Master Collection CS6 Trial. So, uninstalling Master Collection will be the right step. Either way, you can uninstall Master Collection CS6 trial at anytime. Doing that will not affect your Production Premium CS6 suite.
So, go for it.

Creative Suite Master Collection CS6 Trial

I tried downloading Creative Suite Master Collection CS6 Trial but it was unsuccessfull even though I recieved emails welcoming to this product's trial version. What can be done to be able to download and use this product? Thanks for all your help and Merry Christmas!

The downloading assistant never finishes downloading the trial. I have downloaded other trials like premier pro and this problem never ocurred. The OS of my computer is Windows 7 64bit.

AYUDA! problemas al instalar Suite Master Collection CS6

Se demoro todo un dia bajar la Suite y al final me dice ERROR 101 porque no hay espacio en el Disco C (tengo 36Gb de espacio libre). En mi deseseperación comence a bajarlo de nuevo a mi disco E poruqe ahi tengo mas espacio. Deberia funcionar? si llega a bajar todo debo mover los archivos a PROGRAMS FILES?..cuanto espacio se necesita en el disco duro?..pense que esto me iba ahorrar tiempo ademas queria probar si me cambio del CS5 y si vale la pena comprarlo. AYUDA!!!. gracias

Parece que estas en algun Windows, el sistema operativo necesita parte del espacio libre disponible en el disco de inicio, e incluso recomienda que nunca se supere un 90% la ocupación de un disco duro. Que tamaño tiene C:\?
Respecto a la descarga la puedes efectuar a cualquier disco duro, como has hecho. No tienes que, no es necesario, moverlo a ningun sitio, desde cualquier lugar lo puedes instalar en tu sistema.
Al instalarlo te preguntará dónde quieres hacerlo, puedes elegir la opción por defecto (Program files) u otra carpeta en c:\ o en otro disco duro.
Si tienes poco espacio en C:| puedes liberarlo, borrando temporales o archivos innecesarios, o mover carpetas de documentos o imágenes, ... a otros discos.
Otra opción sería desinstalar (antes desactivar) versiones previas de software de Adobe (o de otros fabricantes que ya no utilices, CS4, …)
Personalmente, yo miraría primero la información sobre las nuevas características y posibilidades de las aplicaciones que utilizas, si te van a resultar interesantes y prácticas.
Como regla general cada versión de una aplicación o Suite ocupa algo más de espacio que la anterior y requiere unas prestaciones del equipo algo mayores para sacarle todo el partido, como respuesta las aplicaciones ofrecen un mayor rendimiento y potencia, aparte de nuevas opciones.

Unable to enter serial number for Master Collection CS6 Upgrade

I recently purchased a Master Collection CS6 upgrade (from 5.5). My CS6 serial number was correctly recognised but it said it couldn't find any software eligible for the upgrade despite Master Collection CS5.5 being installed on my PC (running Windows 7 Ultimate). The screen to enter the serial number of the eligible software doesn't have Master Collection CS5.5 in the drop-down, only CS5. Using that option with my CS5.5 serial number doesn't work. I got no response to a case opened on the support site.
In order to install the CS6 software, I then installed it as a trial version. I now get reminders that I only have x days to go but there is no option to enter my serial number. I assume it thinks I've got a trial version of Creative Cloud.
Adobe Support keep closing cases raised on the spurious grounds that I haven't responded. It is they that are not responding! Anyone able to help?

if the serial number has been used, you won't be able to use that serial and that's the only thing you purchased.

i own CS6 Master Suite and have uninstalled it from my current macbook pro.
now i would like to install it part (Ai, iD, Ps) on a work station i use from time to time.
it wont let me install, i get a message i have it on another computer and i need to un license or on register the machine?
cant seem to find any other solution other than enterprise....
i own my own software and own creative suites from CS3 - CS6 Master Collections.... and now subscribe to Adobe CC....
any thoughts?

Activation and Deactivation of Adobe CS6 Master Suite from a computer no longer needing an instalation or licence to use.
Uninstalling software does not deactivate it.

A single license for Adobe software lets you install the software on two computers. However, you can use the software on only one computer at any given time.
If you want to install the software on a third computer, deactivate the software on the computer on which you will no longer use the software. Then, activate the software on the new computer.
Uninstalling software does not deactivate it.
Please follow these steps, if there is any issue: call adobe
Step 1 - Launch the any CCM software on 3rd machine, it will give you 2 options “License this software” and “Start Trial” – Select “License this Software”.
Step 2 – Enter Adobe ID, password and Sign in.
Step 3 – Now you will get the prompt – Maximum Count Exceeded and you will get 2 button “License this Software” and “Continue” – Make sure you select“Continue”.
Step 4 - Enter Adobe ID, password and Sign in.
Step 5 – Now you get the prompt – Subscription Activation failed – Close the window
Step 6 – Launch the software again the click on “License this software” and sign in
ok... if you did not deactivate befor uninstalling and using the CS cleaning tool....
you need to chat with Adobe.... go to your adobe account...

Safe to delete files after Master Suite CS6 installation on Windows 7 , 64 bit system?

I installed Master Suite CS6 on a new Windows 7 , 64 bit system computer.
The computer has a small (120GB) SSD which has the operating system, and I'm trying to install the rest of my programs and data on larger, standard drives.
I just noticed that under C:/Users/Robert/Adobe CS6, I have a 6,504,448 KB MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.7Z file (Type 7Z File) and a MasterCollection_CS6_LS16 1031KB Application file
Can I delete the 6.5 GB 7z file or is that needed for operation?
What about the smaler one - is that for launching the applications or was that just to launch the installers?
I also have an 8.16 GBAdobe CS6 Master Collection folder on my Desktop (which is actually a 1TB regular hard drive as opposed to C:)
Inside this folder are two directories: Fonts (211 MB with lots of fonts inside), and Adobe CS6 (with subdirectories deploy; packages; payloads; resources; and a Set-up application 2163 KB
DO I need to save that folder, or was that just for installing the Master Suite?

Just to clarify - in terms of backing up one set of these, would that just be so I had it on disk and didn't need to re-download from Adobe if the installation got corrupted somehow? Or do I need a backup for some other reason?

Trouble Downloading Adobe Master Suite CS6

Hello! I just purchased a new computer, a Lenovo Y510P Ideapad running Windows 8. My school gave me the Adobe Master Suite (CS6) with a redemption code which was the first thing I put on my new computer. However, only some of the programs downloaded and the rest did not. The error codes I recieved are as follows... (I called Adobe and was told to uninstall the suite, which I have done and now I do not know how to proceed)/
