Yeah, it's not the kind of thing you want to have thrown at you, but neither is it a big surprise. With gift cards, and rebate cards like Verizon issues becoming more popular, there's going to be an increasing need to be able to do this sort of thing, so might as well dive in,  program for it and be prepared to serve our clients. eCommerce is a continually moving target, and I see it as my job to stay up with it.    Just one more reason to love the banks and all they do to, um, er... I mean "for" us :-)

  • Change color of blog post title

    Hello, I'm trying to change the color of the post title (REGLAS DE ACENTUACIÓN. Palabras agudas), but not working.
    Here is the link:
    http://ivink.com/confundidos-entre-letras
    And here is the code that I have insert:
    .blog-post h2.post-title {
    color: #CC0000;
    font-size: 22px;
    font-weight: bold;
    font-family: droid-sans, sans-serif;
    line-height: 1.2;
    Title is not getting the red color.
    Thanks very much for any help.
    Ignacio

    You should always use inspect tools like firebug or the inbuilt ones in browsers. You would see the titles have an anchor inside which has its style.
    Change that to - .post-title > a

  • I have made a blog in adobe muse and now adjusting it on BC but I can't seem to change the blog post date format?

    I have made a blog in adobe muse and now adjusting it on BC but I can't seem to change the blog post date format?
    My ideal date format would be / 28, Oct, 2015
    can anyone help? I'm not sure I can manipulate the {tag_postdate}

    You can use something like this in the post or post list: {tag_blogpostday}, {tag_blogpostmonth}, {tag_blogpostyear}

  • The icons of the blog posts that I visit do not change to show my visit. eg. I used to be able to see the orange blogger symbol when I visited that blog post.

    I subscribe to blogs via RSS (whatever that means) and new blog posts show up in my bookmark menu ....... they show up with a grey unassuming icon at the beginning of the blog post bookmark.
    Months ago the appearance of the bookmarks would "change" when I visited the post ..... eg. for blogger posts the icon would turn into the traditional orange blogger symbol.
    But for many many months now the icons don't change with the visit and it's getting difficult to remember if I've visited that blog post or not by looking at the bookmark itself.
    How can I get the bookmark to update/refresh when I visit a blog post?

    I see a faded RSS feed icon for live bookmark items that turn into the website's favicon after having visited the link.
    There may be a problem with the favicons if you get the generic default icon instead of the website's favicon.
    You can try to repair the places database with this extension:
    *https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/places-maintenance/
    See also:
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Bookmarks_history_and_toolbar_buttons_not_working_-_Firefox
    You can to remove all stored data from that domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry (Show All History or History sidebar) to see if that will reset the favicon if the above posted steps didn't help.
    Using "Forget About This Site" will remove everything from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious if you need to keep passwords or other data from that site.<br />
    You can't recover from that "forget" unless you have a backup of the affected files.<br />
    *https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Backing+up+your+information
    *https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Recovering+important+data+from+an+old+profile
    It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

  • Changing the Order of Blog Post

    Is there a way to have the latest blog entries appear at the top of the blog instead of the bottom?
    Thanks!

    Cyclosaurus posted a html snippet that you can insert in your iweb page (insert-->widget-->html snippet). The snippet is in this tread but it didn't work for me:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=7602984&#7602984
    There are at least a half dozen posts on this very thing and you would think changing the order of a blog post from chronological to reverse chronological would be easy, but apparently not.
    Anyone else have any ideas?

  • How to have more months and years appear for selection in the archives for blog posts?

    Hello,
    How to have more months and years appear for selection in the archives for blog posts?  It just shows past 3 months in the year 2014, but we have many blog posts in years 2013, 2012 and 2011 and further back.  I am using the OOB SharePoint blog
    feature.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the reply; it doesn't add anything as RSA6 was one of the options I listed and this was my fall back option if there was no other special treatment for the COPA datasources.
    I have found out why this, and other fields, are not available in KEB0.  The program uses a Function called KERA_COPA_METADATA_INTERFACE within which there is a section that selects the COPA fields:
    ***** 1. RULES (choice/class)
    * set rules for fixed fields
      PERFORM COPA_SET_RULES_FIXED_FIELDS USING I_ACCTCOST
                                          CHANGING E_T_RULES[].
    When you look at this code section there is a hard coded list of fields to exclude:
      MRULE 'MANDT     ' NEVER FORGET_IT NEVER FORGET_IT.
      MRULE 'PAOBJNR   ' NEVER FORGET_IT NEVER FORGET_IT.
      MRULE 'PASUBNR   ' NEVER FORGET_IT NEVER FORGET_IT.
      MRULE 'PAPAOBJNR ' NEVER FORGET_IT NEVER FORGET_IT.
      MRULE 'PAPASUBNR ' NEVER FORGET_IT NEVER FORGET_IT.
      MRULE 'HRKFT     ' NEVER FORGET_IT NEVER FORGET_IT.
      MRULE 'HZDAT     ' NEVER FORGET_IT NEVER FORGET_IT.
      MRULE 'USNAM     ' NEVER FORGET_IT NEVER FORGET_IT.
      MRULE 'RKESTATU  ' NEVER FORGET_IT NEVER FORGET_IT.
      MRULE 'TIMESTMP  ' NEVER FORGET_IT NEVER FORGET_IT.
      MRULE 'PERDE     ' NEVER FORGET_IT NEVER FORGET_IT.
      MRULE 'PERIO     ' OBLIGATORY CHAR_CE3 OBLIGATORY CHAR_CE3.
      MRULE 'COPA_AWTYP' NEVER FORGET_IT NEVER FORGET_IT.
      MRULE 'COPA_AWORG' NEVER FORGET_IT NEVER FORGET_IT.
    As this is a standard delivered SAP function I do not recommend that you change this code as you will invalid your SAP support and upgrade paths.

  • Customize blog post display in Share Point 2013 in Cloud

    Hi,
    I am trying to modify look of the blog post (single post entry), but running into issues.
    This is the full scenario I am trying to accomplish:
    I have custom content type that extends post with few fields that I need in order to pull specific post entries on different pages(this is not an issue).
    I have Yes/No field for post in the blog to allow or disallow comments.
    If the check box is set to No I don't want to display anything that would have to do with the comments.
    Idea is to use overrideCtx but in order to be able to check the value of the Yes/No column I need to add it to the Current View, this is where the problem starts.
    Any time I modify the current view and add a field the title and body of the post entry are no longer displayed on the page and there is no way for me to change it back.
    Anybody has any ideas why is this happening, or was trying to do something simillar?
    Thanks
    Brano

    Unfortunately the javascript (example above) didn't work for me.
    What I end up doing is (separate js so the code can be changed and reused for multiple blog sites) and reference it in the Content Editor:
    (function () {
    var overrideCtx = {};
    overrideCtx.Templates = {};
    overrideCtx.Templates.Fields = {'Body':{'View': CBody}};
    SPClientTemplates.TemplateManager.RegisterTemplateOverrides(overrideCtx);
    function CBody(ctx) {
    var items = ctx.CurrentItem;
    var ret = ctx.CurrentItem.Body;
    if(ctx.CurrentItem['AllowPost'] == 'Yes'){
    _spBodyOnLoadFunctionNames.push("hideComments");
    return ret;
    function hideComments(){
    //look for elements with specific IDs and Classes to hide
    I am wondering if there is shorter way so I don't have to call _spBodyOnLoad so it doesn't add too much overhead
    If anyone know better way let me know?
    Thanks
    Brano

  • Path issue leaving me unable to add blog post content in design view

    Hi guys,
    I am unable to add blog post content in design view when a template is applied to my blog. BC support have told me they fixed the problem by making minor changes to the paths of the css and javascript files and then told me to post on here for the solution.
    When I call the files using <link rel="stylesheet" href="/css/custom.css" /> everything displays perfectly but in BC I can't add blog post content in design view. I can edit in html but this isn't ideal for clients to update the blog.
    If I change the paths to <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/custom.css" /> it fixes the problem and I can then edit blog content in design view but all blog pages that are in folders display incorrectly. Only the main blog page display properly.
    I'm sure the answer is simple but I can't find it so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
    Pete

    I took a look at your page URL and can't find any CSS issues or styles that would directly affect you editing/adding content to a blog post via the content editor.
    Make sure you either clear your cache or try in another browser to see if the problem is localized to your current browser.
    If you still have the problem can you link me to a screencast (you can use Jing if you don't have a screencast program: http://www.techsmith.com/jing.html) of what you are experiencing?

  • OT: The Dreamweaver team's blog post about the Dreamweaver modernization effort

    Hi all,
    The Dreamweaver team has shared its thoughts on the rationale behind changes in Dreamweaver CC in its blog post http://blogs.adobe.com/dreamweaver/2013/06/a-look-at-the-modernized-dreamweaver-cc.html. The blog post also touches upon what's ahead while providing alternatives to some of the older features that did not make it to Dreamweaver CC.
    The team has taken into account feedback from several quarters before formulating a reply. I thank all of you on this forum who have provided us with inputs and constructive feedback to help us respond to your concerns.
    I would like to particularly call attention to this sentence from the blog post:
    We have just begun the modernization process and invite you to voice your opinion. We are committed to taking action on customer feedback and remaining as transparent as possible about our future plans.
    In this context, it is worth noting that the Creative Cloud provides us with the flexibility to  quickly try and address issues and areas that fall within the purview of our shared vision for Dreamweaver.
    Thanks,
    Preran

    Namaste Preranji,
    That URL that you posted is broken it should not be "dr eamweaver" but "dreamweaver" I hope that is not a bad omen. (-;

  • How to add a Facebook send button to blog post

    I am not able to get the Facebook Send button to pull the blog post's unique url to share.  It pulls the main blog url.
    I added the Facebook plugin code to a content holder I created because I cannot find the container.html, so I decided to make my own Facebook module.
    Then I pulled the module into my blog post list module.  I want the share buttons to appear after each blog post.
    What am I missing?  What is the tag to pull the specific URL for the post to share it?   Do I change the URL in the Facebook code: <div class="fb-share-button" data-href="https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/" data-layout="icon_link"></div> ?
    I think this link pulls the button itself from Facebook?
    When I call up my module in the blog list   it looks like this:
    <div id="SocialMediaShare">
    {module_contentholder,3272408, url="{tag_blogposturl}"} <!-- this is my attempt to change the url to the blog post url... not working! -->
    </div>
    <!-- this module 3272408 is the content holder with the Facebook plugin code I put into it... -->
    thanks!

    I don't have an answer for you, but I do have a question. You said the FB code works. What did you do? What did you put in your html page? I tried the FB code above and it gives me an ID error. Appreciate it if you can elaborate more. I just posted the ff in the forum "Customizing FB Share in Edge Animate"
    Thank you!

  • Dynamic agent rule changement during approval steps

    Hi gurus,
    my question is based on a customer requirement.
    they want a n-step approval with dynamic agent determination: fine.
    then they want to maintain the substitutes: fine as well.
    But what they want to do is to change the workflow path based on the substitute.
    I mean: if the first aprover has set a substitute the first task goes to the substitute, but the following tasks have to follow the substitute hierarchy and not the original workflow path.
    So we don't think the standard system way to use the substitute is not enough, but we need to determinate in the beginning if a substitute was set for some approvers.
    The thing is that the substitute record is dynamic and has a validity end, and could be set after the workflow is started.
    Is it possible at every step recalculate the workflow path and the next approvers (so to discover if a substitute rule has be changed or created or deleted)?
    PS: we are using SRM 7.0 and the process controlled workflow.
    Thank you very much in advance!
    Regards,
    Maria

    Hi Maria
    I mean today the workflow starts and the system calculates the path based on the substitute rules active.
    OK with that.
    But what if the substitute rule change tomorrow?
        How you are saying the substitute rule change tomorrow?.  You should not assume it. You should confirm it.  You cannot implement a work flow for tomorrow's requirement. Always there will be a change even if you implement for tomorrows change. Never do that. Do only for today's requirement.
    My question is if it's possible to every step of the work flow change the agents.
        I feel that this approach is wrong. simple view i will give u to thing. take only 2 steps
    loop.
    1) for determining the approver based on business logic in one method.
    2) use the expression in the user decision step and send the work item for approval
    endloop.
    This i have explained for simple logic, create you own logic and apply on loop and endloop. It will work.

  • Customizing the blog post web part to not show entire entries

    I have a blog site, and as you know, the posts web part shows the entire contents of each listed post, rather than one paragraph, followed by a "click here to read more" link.  I know that there is no out-of-box functionality for this, because of course,
    why would there be? Who needs nice looking blogs?  Anyway, I found this on the internet:
    http://zabistop.blogspot.com/2009/02/customizing-sharepoint-blog-posts-web.html
    It knows what's up, but it's outdated and the code doesn't mesh with what I have. Are there any articles similar to this online? I can't be the first person who thought of this, and doing it from the ground up is not an option. I appreciate any help.

    In 2010 you can make the same changes using a similar method.
    Open the default.aspx page, in code view click in within the blog area. In the ribbon click on the List View tools >design. Click on Customize XSLT in the Actions panel. When you do that you will be able to see all the code.
    Find this line of code <xsl:template name="FieldRef_Note_body.Body" ddwrt:dvt_mode="body" match="FieldRef[@Name='Body']" mode="Note_body" ddwrt:ghost="hide">
    Approx line 402. It actually looks like   </xsl:template><xsl:template name="FieldRef.... so you will have to place your cursor after the template close and hit enter a few times to make space for the code.
    Directly above that line, where you have added spaces, include this code. (I cheated and grabbed this code from another site where we did the same thing - and was able to modify it slightly to work for the blog.)
    <!-- used to strip out HTML from passed-in field -->
        <xsl:template name="removeHtmlTagsFromField">
         <xsl:param name="html"/>
         <xsl:choose>
             <xsl:when test="contains($html, '&lt;')">
                 <xsl:value-of select="substring-before($html, '&lt;')"/>
                 <!-- Recurse through HTML removing all markup -->
                 <xsl:call-template name="removeHtmlTagsFromField">
                     <xsl:with-param name="html" select="substring-after($html, '&gt;')"/>
                 </xsl:call-template>
             </xsl:when>
             <xsl:otherwise>
                 <xsl:value-of select="$html"/>
             </xsl:otherwise>
         </xsl:choose>
     </xsl:template>
    Next below the line ( should be the next line below the pasted code)   <xsl:template name="FieldRef_Note_body.Body" ddwrt:dvt_mode="body" match="FieldRef[@Name='Body']" mode="Note_body" ddwrt:ghost="hide">
    Locate the       <xsl:param name="thisNode" select="."/> and paste the following code:
      <!-- call "removeHtmlTagsFromField" template to strip out html markup from the field -->
     <xsl:variable name="textOnlyDescription">
         <xsl:call-template name="removeHtmlTagsFromField">
             <xsl:with-param name="html" select="$thisNode/@*[name()=current()/@Name]" />
         </xsl:call-template>
     </xsl:variable>
    I have already swichted out the select content with the content that was in the xsl line that renders the body content.
    Locate the code  ( should be 2 lines down)     <xsl:value-of select="$thisNode/@*[name()=current()/@Name]" disable-output-escaping="yes"/>
    Comment the code out and replace with the following code:
          <xsl:value-of select="substring($textOnlyDescription, 0, 320)" disable-output-escaping="yes"/>
          <xsl:if test="string-length($textOnlyDescription)>320">...</xsl:if>
    Change the number to your desired length.
    Save your file.
    You can revert the file if you ever need to, after its checked in, by right clicking on the page and selecting reset to site definition.
    Hope this helps. I plan on doing a post shortly covering this and will have screen shots.

  • Template breaks when viewing Blog Post Details Layout

    I've made a new ECommerce site with my own template (HTML en CSS). On the Blog Post List is my new template. But when I click on the title or permalink, Then my template breaks and all I see is the text from my template and the blog post detail. What can I do?
    Regards,
    A.H. Bakker

    Yes, just as I suspected.  A lot of your CSS, JS and IMAGE assets are referenced incorrectly in your page template or page.
    Right now, in your page template you are referecing IMG elements with a "relative URL":
    <img src="images/myimage.jpg"/>
    That will work fine on the homepage and first-level pages like "/" and "/blog" because the browser will attempt to load:
    http://yoursite.com/images.myimage.jpg
    But, if like on your blog detail pages which are located deeper in the websites folder structure "/blog/nog-maar-eentje" since this URL places you on the "nag-maareetje" page inside the "blog" folder, your relative URL will lead the browser to try and load
    http://yoursite.com/blog/myimage.jpg
    That is not the correct location for our images folder which is directory in the site's root folder.  To avoid this issue, you need to update your references to all images that's SRC attribute start with "images/" and change it to a "site relative URL" simply by prepending a "/" at the beginnging of the SRC attribute:
    <img src="/images/myimage.jpg"/>
    You'lll need to replicate this process for your CSS and Javascript references too. CSS references will look like:
    <link href="css/style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
    Becomes:
    <link href="/css/style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
    And javascript:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="js/lib.js"></script>
    Becomes
    <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/lib.js"></script>
    Anywhere that a reference to a javascript, stylesheet or image starts without a slash, "/" and just begins with the folder or asset ("images/...", "myimage.jpg") are relative URLs. You'll also see URLs that are absolute and those are URLs in your code that start with "http://yoursite.com" or "http://yoursite.businesscatalyst.com". Those you don't have to worry about since they are absolute and won't get mucked up when you are trying to load those from page within your site.
    After you edit your page templates you might need to fix the same problem in your pages that are in a subfolder of your site.

    I have a blog post - Tamil nadu 10th result and I want to design the post using the dreamweaver to create good design. How to do it ?

    Your blog is on Google's Blogger which uses XML templates.  If you want to change the look of your blog, use a different Blogger Template.  Unfortunately, DW isn't going to be much help with this since you must use the Blogger Dashboard to change templates, content, widgets, etc...

  • Blog post at SP home page

    I need to create blog post at SP 2013 home page. with this pic. should appear permanently and right of the pic post text detail should be there. Wheneven new post created it should update with new post and picture at left should remain same.
    is there a way to achieve this.
    If we can implement it through any webpart which one is that.
    Thanks in adv !!

    One way you can achieve this is using the Content by Query Web Part and custom XSLT for the web part. Go through the couple of examples below on how to roll up the blog post with custom XSLT. In your case you will be rolling up the one item i.e. the latest
    blog post and then change the XSLT to display the image that you want to display with blog.
