Mastercard secure code / verified by visa iframe never appears on Safari

Hi, I'm looking for an answer to a problem with the verified by visa / mastercard secure code iframe when payments are submitted via Safari (for any transactional website). The iframe just doesn't come up on the website on Safari, but comes up fine on IE, Chrome, Firefox. The browser seems to goto the authenticate.com action but never returns the iframe for the password entry. The behaviour remains same in both Windows and Mac platforms. Anyone have any views on problems faced in the past and tweaks / solutions that can help with this ?

Make sure your system software is up to date.
Click the Apple  menu (top left in your screen) then click: Software Update ...
Safari / Preferences - Autofill. Click the Edit button next to: Other forms. Click: Remove All / Done.
Check Safari / Preferences - Extensions. If you have any installed, turn that off, quit then relaunch Safari.
Try disabling plugins... Safari / Preferences - Security. Quit then relaunch Safari. See if that makes a difference. If it does, troubleshooting help http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3230?viewlocale=en_US

Updating to Firefox 5 seems to have disabled Mastercard Secure and Verified by Visa

On one laptop I run Vista Home Premium 32 bit and on the netbook I run XP.
When upgrading to Firefox 5, I have found (as I fgound when I upgraded to 3.something from 3.5 - I think - that was the first time I noticed any porbelms at all) that certain websites won't function any more; On the laptop with Vista, Firefox hangs up and won't load any of the Mastercard Secure or Verified by Visa pages nor will it allow me to sign in to my National Lottery account.
Yet I can do all this - using the same broadband connection - on my netbook running XP.
Is there a solution to this apparent conflict with Vista?

It is correct. Update your account settings and information. If the security code is all that is needed to verify your account, that is pretty easy to fix.

Did you go on-line and fix your billing information? You probably need to do this from iTunes on your computer, not your phone.
If you've double checked your credit card info and it still won't take it, contact your card issuer.

I do not speak English, however I do write in English with the aid of the Mac OS X spelling and grammar checks. I also live in a culture perhaps very very different from your own. When offering advice in the ASC, my comments are not meant to be anything more than helpful and certainly not to be taken as insults.
Sometimes the issue isn't really the security code, but the ZIP code or the form of the billing address.

So whenever I try and download an app, apple is making me put in my security code for my visa card. But, it's saying my security code is invalid. And I know that it's right. What do I do?

Apple is making me put in my card information to get free apps. And when I put in the vista card information it's saying that the security code is invalid. It is also doing this to my brothers account. I have no idea what to do!

Go to Settings > Store tap on your Apple ID, then billing information.
Make sure every single bit of information in your credit card is 100% correct and matches the credit card information you have in iTunes (if you have an iTunes account and you have entered the credit card information there). Make sure your credit card expiration date is accurate and correct. Make sure that if in iTUnes you said you live at say 150 Red Road, you don't say you live at 150 Red Rd on your iPad.
Once you've verified the billing information is 100% accurate, save and then try again to download from the App Store.

Mastercard Security Code Rejected

Hi guys,
I've been running into an issue where the itunes account management center will NOT under any circumstances accept my CC's security code which I am positive is valid..
I have an outstanding charge that has frozen my iPhone apps and I can't resolve it because I cannot get the e-commerce system to accept my security code (this is confirmed on THREE different cards I have)
Other than taking a picture of the back of the card to prove I'm entering it correctly or cancelling my iTunes subscription is there anything that can be done?
I am accessing from BC, Canada if that makes a difference..

I have the same problem. It just started recently, my last good purchase was on 12/27. Another interesting note is that I read online to change the billing address to exactly match my credit card company. I was going to see if they changed the country codes and that needed to be updated, but when I clicked the change country button, United States is not even listed. No America either.

Website asks for security code imput, but it is NEVER recognized even after 20 attempts. Then when I remember that it is Firefox and go to IE i am able to log in with one attempt.

I listed just one, but it happens to all including Kaspersky. If I forget my password and am using Firefox (always) i have to open up IE to get logged in.

First of all, I assume you have a misprint and you opened your account ~4 years ago in August of 2010, not 2014(1 month ago).
Next, it appears you had your account suspended for 3 years after completing only 10 months of service and have recently re-activated the account.
If the above information is correct in your case, I would assume you will get your deposit back 12 months after reactivating your account without any further suspensions and/or late payments. So I would guess you will be eligible to get your deposit back in August, 2015.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Is a secure procedure... or your credit card as change, or the name is not exactly the same... i don't know.
You can update the complete credic card information in your profile.

6233 SECURITY CODE ERROR

I entered the Security Code of my 6233 mistakenly a few times ( since I was in haste ) and now, it does not accept the correct security code. All other phone features appear to work fine apart from not being able to be unlocked. Any solutions please ?

No I've found the solution . It is a Nokia default. When you enter the security code wrong for three times, the phone gets into a sleep mode for 15 mins . Keep the phone untouched for 15 mins and reenter the correct code then . Hope this help someone .

How do I get itunes to accept my credit card information? If I enter Mastercard, it won't keep the security code. If I enter a Visa, it tells me I can't use that card even though that is the card I was using before the Mastercard

I have updated my account. I have a Mastercard as my method of payment now after switching from a Visa. My phone and computer will not retain the security code for this card, so I can't access the store on my devices. I tried switching back to the Visa card and iTunes tells me I can't use that card

The card information must exactly match the issuing bank's billing records precisely. Often this is not a discrepancy with the security code, but an address or ZIP code that is not an exact match.

ICloud is very confusing. I had a security code to unlock my keychain, sent to my cell phone. I then entered the 5 digit code, that was sent to my cell, into my mac. It says I entered it wrong. I have had Maverick installed for over 6 months, and my keychain is still not functioning even nearly well as it did in Snow Leopard.
