How can I open CS6 after receiving the following warning: The following disk images couldn't be opened - MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.dmg Reason:Invalid Checksum.

If you open the .dmg folder, you have a choice of Cancel or Skip in the dialogue box while CS6 is verifying, immediately press the skip button and CS6 will install.

Hi there -
I'm downloading the CS6 Master Collection trial via the Adobe Download Assistant onto a Mac running OS 10.7.4. When I try to open the .dmg file, I get the warning:
The following disk images couldn't be opened
MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.dmg, invalid checksum
If this helps, the download bar in the Assistant says "Extracting... this may take a while." It's been like that for about three hours.
Do I need to re-download? It took ~24hrs, so if I don't have to, I'd rather not.

I tried to do that as I first downloaded it from Firefox, then Safari, like you said to, but I got a message saying that "This product is already in the queue and will be not be added (error 105). If you believe you have received this message in error, you can restart Adobe Download Assistant and try to add the product again".
I have already tried this four times, I even "Force Quit" ADA to clear the queue, but whenever I click on the download button on the Adobe website, I keep getting the same message.
This only started because I had the same error as the original post.

"Extracting files" dilema

My CS6 Master Collection download has not moved past "extracting files" and has been doing so for the last 8 hours. HELP please. I am so frustrated with it right now. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it brings me right back to the same page that shows "extracting files."

I had the same problem. After searching around through the forums, I found some information that said to quit Adobe Download Assistant, and then restart it. When the verification process starts, hit skip. This gets you past the invalid checksum warning. i took the MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.dmg icon out of the folder and put it on the desktop. After that, I double-clicked on the Adobe CS6 Mstr Coll icon on the desktop, and the Adobe CS6 Master Collection Window opened. I double-clicked on the Install folder, and the CS6 MstrColl window opened. I then double-clicked on the Adobe CS6 Master Collection folder (the other one is Fonts), put in my serial number (the other option is to check trial), and now it's installing. I'm on a MacBook Pro running OS 10.6.8. Hope this helps!

How do I enter CS6 license key when Adobe Application Manager immediately tries to authenticate against my expired Creative Cloud membership?

I have CS6 Master Suite installed along side my now-expired Creative Cloud apps (I am evaluating whether to renew my subscription at this time). Both CS6 and Creative Cloud are currently unlicensed due to a snafu with my educational license, but I have a new CS6 license that I am trying to register CS6 with. However, upon launching any CS6 program, Adobe Application Manager then launches and tells me that my Creative Cloud membership is now expired. How/where to I enter my CS6 license key? I have already tried entering my new license on my Adobe account profile > “My products and services”, and reinstalled CS6 applications from my original disk image (MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.dmg).

Figured this one out from another thread, after which I was able to sign in again with my Adobe ID and my software was ready to use:
Windows:
Delete these folders
SLStore from C:\ProgramData\Adobe
SLCache from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
OOBE from C:\Users\(Your Username)\AppData\Local\Adobe
Mac:
Delete SLStore and SLCache from /Library/Application Support/Adobe
Delete OOBE from ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe

Installed 10.8.4 and now my wifi refuses to connect to any WPA2 network!

Installed 10.8.4 update yesterday in the office. After restart my wifi refused to connect to the network although it was connecting to it fine before the update. Used ethernet and downloaded the Combo update. No improvement. It connects to the public wifi but not to the WPA2. Went home and opened my MBA and found that it does not connect to my peronal WPA2! Removed security from my Guest network and it connects fine. Put the WPA2 back, and it refuses to connect. Any ideas?

Mavericks fails to upgrade to Yosemite

When install Yosemite on my 2.3 GHz i7 MBP w/16 GB RAM / 1 TB SSD / 15-inch early 2011 MacBook Pro (which started at Lion), my Mac downloads and installs, then reboots back into Mavericks. I found that /var/log/install.log has some errors in it, but I can't tell which one is the showstopper or how to fix it. Does anyone recognize the key problem in this log?
There is clearly an exception in the middle of the log (1) I don't know what's causing it and (2) I don't know if its actually interrupting the process. I considered reinstalling, but it will take a very long time - I have to start with 10.7, which is four upgrades away.    I tried reinstalling Mavericks and I get the same symptoms as when I try to install Yosemite.

I found that Yosemite was, for some reason, unable to install from my Samsung 840 EVO drive. I used the technique described here to make a USB flash drive installer. This worked fine.

I'm trying to download Master Suite CS6 and I downloaded the assistant, but no icons or files are showing up within the assistant. I tried reinstalling it multiple times, but it isn't helping.
I'm on OSX 10.6.8 - thanks!

Unable to install CS6 master collection for mac book pro(late 2011)

Recently, I have successfully downloaded Adobe creative suite CS6 master collection for MAC.
However, I am unable to install it. After opening the installer nothing happens, it does not proceed further. I have tried copying the contents from MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.dmg to another folder and then open the install.app, still no progress.
Please advice since I really need to install this.

The situation is like this, I downloaded the image on my desktop pc(which is windows) and then compress & split the image using a winrar. I then transferred the files to my mac book pro and extracted the image there. Unfortunately, there was a bug in the unarchiver software that I was using on mac to extract the image.
This bug was rectified today in a update given out by the dev.
Now, I can install CS6 without any issues. Thanks for the repsonse once again.

I found out today (see post date) that this take you now to the Perian site and shows you the Download for Perian 1.1.3
You need to change the URL to read the 2 at the end and it will work then to get the 1.1.2 version

This is for Mac users who are at either 10.4.11 or 10.5.6 and have Perian 1.1.3 Installed
It does not seem PCC or Intel Specific.
As Noted in the Question, the user can make a successful Video chat connection albeit without incoming Video being shown.
The Connection Doctor from iChat Video menu says there is a incoming feed.
Testing and work by Defcom proved this to be the Installation of Perian 1.1.3 from http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/video/perian_christopherforsythe.html
Perian 1.1.3 (a Quicktime add-on that uses a System Preferences like Flip4Mac) causes problems in both iChat versions when the OS is at either 10.4.11 or 10.5.6
This includes deliberate installs and automatic updates by the Preferences Panel (In System Preferences)
The Solution
Download and downgrade to Perian 1.1.2 and turn Off Auto Updates in the Control Panel
Process
Use the Un-install check box in the Perian Preference Pane panel.
