MasterPass Word not working

I'm running Firefox v10.0 on Linux Mint v9 (isadora). The browser is not asking if the userid and password should be remembered. I have 'remember passwords for this site' and 'use master password' selected (checked) under the security tab.
Any suggestions ?

Customized keyboard shortcuts for microsoft Word not working

My Macbook Pro retina 15' with an updated Yosemite iOS 10.10.1 has an american keyboard. I am trying to create keyboard shortcuts for brazilian accent marks to use in Microsoft Word. I went to "system preferences", "keyboard", "shortcuts", "App Shortcuts", added Microsoft Word and, for the brazilian accent mark " ˜ ", which in the original keyboard is obtained with "option+n", I set the shortcut "option+left arrow".
It just does not work. I created other shortcuts for other brazilian accent marks with the other arrows + control but none of them worked.
Can anyone tell me what went wrong?

Amy~ Yep the lasso tool was what I verified with another user. 'L' seems to be bound indefinitely to loop through different types of lasso tools and it was annoying them because they just wanted L to be the regular freehand lasso. I removed 'L' from being an option on the polygon lasso and even set it explicitly to SHIFT+L as well as set the lasso tool to a completely different keyboard combo. 'L' still cycled through lassos haha. It needs some fixes.

Adobe and Microsoft Word not working with upgrade 10.10 Yosemite

I upgraded from Mountain Lion to Yosemite 10.10. Now my Mac Microsoft Word 2011 and Adobe keep closing and will not work properly. I feel like my computer is slower. It definitely takes way longer to start up. Any suggestions? My computer is still under warranty, but it is hard to find time to take it in. I only upgraded my laptop and not my desktop yet. This laptop is a Macbook Pro (15-Inch, Late 2011), Processor 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7, Memory: 16 BG 1067 MHz DDR3, HD: 119.99 GB free of 498.88 GB. I know I need more HD space. I emptied trash and took off apps I do not use. I'm not sure what to buy for my Mac that is compatible to increase speed and HD space, but it is slower after the upgrade. I use a Lacy External HD for time machine.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Francine, thank you for answering the very simple question I had about whether or not Photoshop Elements 6 was compatible with 10.5.5. I spent hours on the phone today with Adobe, being transferred around and trying to get a straight answer. I never got one from Adobe. The same thing happened when I called Apple. I realize that Apple is not the manufacturer, but hoped they might have an answer because they sell the software and should know if it works with their current OS. Since the system requirements on Adobe's and Apple's websites still say it only works with systems up to 10.5.2, sales and technical support people just read that back. I can read the same specs too, but I realize that 10.5.5 is new and that it is possible that they just may not have updated the info on the web or in their scripts to reflect this. Apparently, actual users like you and several others are saying it works fine with no issues. It's really nice to know how easy it is to find answers here when you can't get the help or answers you need from the manufacturer. It seems like all they do is read a script, and even supervisors just don't want to be bothered. They should realize that 10.5.5 is the current OS since mid-September, and if they don't provide accurate info then people won't know whether or not to purchase the software. I was hesitant because I didn't want to waste the money to find out if it would or would not work. But now that I see others are using PSE 6 without a problem in 10.5.5, I have the answers I need and I feel more confident about buying the software.

Printer icon on word not working

Autocorrect in pages (and in word) not working, but shows selected

Somehow my autocorrect feature is not working. It will still, not always show me a word is wrong (misses half) but I have to click to select and correct it myself. In word, its the same but worse, it misses more. I deleted a lot of my cookies before this happened and wonder if I somehow deleted something related ? Doesnt seem likely. I am having no luck finding how to make it work. I was helped at Apple with modest success In notes, which is actually now working , but i really need it in pages and word. The misspelled words, such as now while Im typing are underlined in red dashes, but NO AUTO feature on correcting them, its a manual select. Argh!

Email with attachment ms word not working

Since updating to Mountain Lion, Share -> Email as Attachment in Word, Excel and Powerpoint 2011 no longer attaches the file. It launches Mac Mail but then I get the spinning beach ball.
I have repaired permissions and rebuilt the MS identity. No luck with either.
Any additonal help would be great. I use this feature a lot and would like to know what has become corrrupted.

All normal file names. MS Office has this built into the File, Share menu. It workd until I upgraded to ML. It launches Mail but does not attach the file. It does not work accross the Office platform: Word, Excel or Powerpoint.
As far as I know you cannot add the Share button like in Safari to other applications yet. It must be written into th program itself.
I think this must have something to do with the applescript which is running behind the scenes, but am at a loss to know what might not be working.

Because Office 2004 is a PPC-only suite and will not work with Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011 for OS X. Or you can try the freeware suite, Libre Office, whose functionality is similar to Office 2007 for Windows.

PDF export to word not working, conversion shows text as code.

I am working with Adobe acrobat pro, and cannot seem to export my PDf file without the text resulting in incomprehensible code. The images in the PDf convert beautifully, however.
I have followed the directions listed on the website, and have enable ORC, but it has not helped.

Save As PDF from Word not working

Hi all,
Getting a bit anxious here. I'm on a Mac and for years I've been creating PDFs from Word (Office X, 2003) by following the path: File > Print > PDF button > Save as PDF. It's always worked perfectly.
I bought my new iMac last week and could not create PDFs from Word. Thought it might be the version of Adobe Reader I was running (v9) so updated and am now running 10.0.3. No change. Some documents save fine, others don't.
Can someone please help? I'm quite dependent on this function for sending PDFs, and the backlog is growing...

Sorry but Reader has nothing to do with creating the PDF. It only views the end result. You'll probably want to take this up in either the Apple forums or a Microsoft forum since you are using one or the others technology to create the PDF.

Hyperlinks In Word Not Working

This morning previously successful hyperlinks (linking to Internet from Word document) suddenly stopped working. Instead of opening the link, I get the message "Unable to open Http:// the address I had inserted. Cannot locate the Internet server or proxy server."
I cut/pasted part of the script and emailed it to myself and was able to open it from my Mail application - but not Word
Anybody have any idea of what is going on? I had been able to successfully use the links in the document until this morning.

MS Word not working since Acrobat install

I purchased and installed Acrobat XI Pro a few days ago. Now when I open MS Word I get a constantly running "wait" icon. I can use the program minimally, but it is extremely sluggish. I tried disabling the Acrobat Addin - no difference. I tried repairing my Word program - no difference. I tried printing to Adobe PDF printer (which worked fine) and surprise, the constantly running wait icon disappeared and Word worked normally. But the next time I opened Word the problem returned. I tried removing the Adobe PDF printer from my list of printers - no difference. I then went back to the original Acrobat installation. I can now use Word in a limited way if I select the Adobe PDF printer first, but printing to my regular Canon printer does not function properly. I'm using Windows 7 and Office 2003. I need help now please!

Well I sure waited a long time for no reply from this forum... That's disappointing. However I finally found a solution. After a great deal of sleuthing on Adobe, Microsoft and Canon websites, it turned out the updating my Canon printer driver did the trick. I'll leave this note here in case anyone else has a similar problem one day.

Microsoft word not working........

i just tried to open microsoft word, it was working about 4 days ago and now it says, The application "Word" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "4<Microsoft Word><CarbonLib><CFMPriv_OpenScripting>". i dont know what happend. i didnt do any major upgrades to the system and i didnt change anything at all. i tried to repair disk permissions and it went well, but word still wont open. i thought to uninstall it and reinstall, but it wont even let me open the "remove office" application. can anyone help?

Word not working properly after W7 upgrade

Word is acting exactly like it did on my old machine before I purchased my new PC three months ago....I use Office 2003.....the Thesaurus won't work, when I click Page Setup it says Not Responding for some time before it finally pops up the Page Setup box, and other things like that where it says not responding. I am getting frustrated. I bought a new computer and ever since the W7 upgrade, I've only had problems. The printer in QB won't work, and other annoying things. Everything takes longer than it used too....just opening My docs and clicking on a folder takes too long, etc.
Forgot to mention that now my Syncback back up won't work and when the computer goes to sleep, I have to click my mouse and enter button about 20 times before the monitor will show anything and then it says I entered the wrong PW for my login.
Outlook gives me problems too -- not opening sometimes, etc.

Pdf to word not working

Hello all, I am using a Mac OS X 10.5.8 and using Acrobat Pro 9.4.5. I am trying to convert a pdf made in inDesign to a word document. It contains tables, text and images. The images are inside tables also. When I have been creating the pdf I have been using a number of different ways to see if any of them work, such as the Press Ready and High Res options. When making the pdfs I have been ticking the make tags because I read somewhere that you need to do that.
The results are coming out all different.
1) The text and headings fine but the tables are graphics.
2) The tables on the left hand pages are graphics and have moved up to cover the text at the top which is in tables with photos in a cell next to it and the photos are gone.
3) The best result was when saved in inDesign to a high res press ready with no compression but tagged and all text was ok, all tables was ok except one page which the table was a graphic and had moved up and covered the table at the top and when moved down the photo had gone.
This is so frustrating. I tried an online converter and waited ages to be sent an email saying file was too big. Are there any fixes for this please.

I can tell you the best fix but you probably won't like it. This is one of the few things for a Macintosh that is substantially improved in Acrobat X Pro. Much improved conversion to Word files. I taught a class to a law firm a couple months ago which does this a lot and they were very impressed.
