Match and sync music on 4 devices

I have itunes on 2 different computers (Windows), I have an ipod classic, and an iphone 4s. how can i match and sync all songs to all 4 devices? My song counts are different and i dont want to delete any that are not on the other devices. But with so many songs, there is no way i can attempt to match them up. Display Duplicates only works in tunes but is greyed out for ipod.
I thought this was supposed to be easy!

iTunes Match manages your music once enabled, this takes over from the original synchronised Songs. Essentially it is your choice to either remain with manual synchronisation or switch on iTunes Match.
Provided your source library holds all your Song files and is securely backed up, you will not loose any Songs by enabling iTunes Match. Whether you prefer the sevice enabled or switched off is very much a personal choice.

Itunes wont sync music to my devices

once again iTunes seems to stop syncing music to my devices. they show up iTunes under the device's music library with dotted circles in front of them like they need to be downloaded. this is true with my iPhone 6, my iPod (an iPhone 4s) and my iPad air . what gives?

Ctrl + B puts the top menu in place.
View > Show Sidebar the devices when connected appear in the left hand window.
Select your device and on the right hand side selecth the music page option. Tick Sync Music and then either sync it all if you have space or sync selected playlists etc.
Select the Artists, Playlist, Albums Genre's you want and click apply bottom right

My wifi is down currently. How can I turn off match and sync the 'old fashioned way'

Hi guys.
My home network is down right now and I want to be able to sync 'old school' with the cable but when I plug it in syncing options are not available. I'm guessing I should temporarily disable match on my pc and iPhone? If so how do I go about that?

Try quitting Pages on the iPad, restart the iPad - and then see if the app works OK.
To quit Pages - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

I'd like to sync my iTouch and iPad with my PC, and have the content (both iTunes and uploaded music) on the devices override the content on the PC, but cannot seem to find a option to do that. Can anyone help me?

I had to have my PC wiped clean and the OS re-loaded. I thought I backed up everything on my iTouch and iPad correctly, but when I try to sync, I'm getting a message that if I continue with the sync, I will lose everything on my device. Since getting a new iPhone 6, my music is all messed up.
I turned on iTunes Match and it tells me that I have 8886 songs now available in iCloud.   But the songs never appear on my iPhone. I tried turning iTunes Match off and on but the only thing that appears is a single U2 album.
When I turn on iTunes Match, I get the "Loading iTunes Match" loading screen but the only thing that ever loads is the one U2 album.
I made sure that my Apple ID is the same.
Since it was not working, I turned on iTunes match and it gave me an option to subscribe.   I thought maybe my subscription was up, so I ordered it.   It turns out I already had it and now have subscribed twice and was billed again.
I have tried syncing the phone over and over and same result.   I have turned iTunes Match on and off on both the computer and the iPhone 6 and still the same result.
I can turn off iTunes Match and both devices and pick songs and they do sync.   But the whole point is, is to have iTunes Match work.   I am having the same exact issue with my iPad as well, but I am sure the solution is the same. I have searched forums but no answer I have read has worked.
Any advice is great appreciated.

Still no solution. The only album that shows up after turning iTunes Match on, on my iPhone 6 is the US Songs of Innocence album.   This is ridiculous. Have tried over and over, rebooting computer and phone, resetting everything, and still no go.
Tried:
1.) Sign off iTunes.
2.) Turn Genius Off
3.) Close iTunes
4.) Open iTunes
5.) Sign in iTunes
6.) Turn Genius On
7.) Turn On iTunes Match

How to stream video AND sync Music + iPhoto from the same iTunes library ?

Hi everybody, my iTunes library is full of Music and with movies "linked" outside itself (to a external hard disk connected to my iMac), I'd like to sync this iTunes library to my AppleTV as follows:
1) the video should be set in streaming mode hence itself not being copied to ATV hard disk;
2) the music and my iPhoto library should be sync'ed (hence copied!) to ATV hard disk.
How could I achieve that ?

New Macbook Pro, iTunes match and syncing with an iPod classc??

Hi,
I recently bought a MBP and I have iTunes Match, so my itunes on the MBP contains my music 'in the cloud'. I also have an iPod classic and want to sync it to update it.
If I plug it in to my new macbook will it sync with 'itunes match' and update with new songs that I've downloaded?
I thought I might have to download all my music from Match to the hard drive of the macbook, but as there is 25gb it is going to take days!!
Does amnyone know what i should do?

Upgrading operating system and syncing music

Im not doing this just yet, but wondered on other peoples experiences and to ensure that this will not be an issue...
I currently run OSX Tiger, but will upgrade to Leopard once I'm confident its had enough time to ensure any possible issues are sorted (read a few to do with firewall/java etc...)
Anyway, if I buy my iPhone tomorrow, sync it with my Mac for music, I understand that I can only sync it with one computer for music. If I upgrade to Leopard will this cause me a problem when I try to sync music again or is there a simple solution?
As far as I can remember with my iPod, when I upgraded from the MacBook to the MacBook Pro I didn't need to do anything, however I manually drag music to my iPod so don't know if this will be different?
I'd rather make sure its possible before hand so I know where I stand.

The iPhone does not support disk mode as your iPod does which is required for the manual drag of music from iTunes to the device.
If you install Leopard via the upgrade or archive and install method selecting preserve user and network settings, there is nothing special you need to do. If you install Leopard via an Erase & Install, you must restore all iTunes data and other data such as from iPhoto and Address Book, etc. from your backup but even then nothing special should be required. Worse case scenario, you re-sync your iPhone with iTunes.
I installed Leopard over Tiger via simple upgrade - checked my boot volume for any directory problems with Disk First Aid repair via Disk Utility when booted from the Leopard install disc and then installed without any problems or issues with my iPhone and iTunes nor with anything else.

How do I run two Apple IDs with one computer and sync music content?

I have a single PC which I have added all of the music to one my log in. My wife and I have Iphones and I want to run separate accounts for itunes, but sync music content from the single source to both phones. Whenever I have tried to do this in the past, it starts to sync all app to both phones. I tried to therefore have separate log ins on the pc itself, but when I have tried this, the music content does not update on my wifes itunes library, after I have added music to mine (ie imported a CD), even though I have linked my wife's music library for itunes purposes to my music folder (hopefully that makes sense!!). Can anyone help as this is driving me mad, otherwise I will just have to run from my account and delete all of my wifes apps etc whenever I sync my phone, and vice versa.

Latest version of itunes and syncing music

Ever since IOS 7, and now IOS 8 has arrived my itunes library will not sync onto my iphone 5s.
I have tried all the so called "Fixes", NONE OF THEM WORK!!!!!.

I can play all the songs via iTunes. I finally added some songs in iphone, with drag and drop. But I can not sync the iphone with iTunes. When I try to load some pics on the phone, and I choose a file (with 2 pics inside) and press "aplly" I have the message "Syncing Giannis's iphone (Step 2 of 6) Backing up". And in this step. iTunes stop to work.
I couldn't imagine that I will have problems to use iphone and to load files in the memory. Is there any other way to add photos in the phone?

ITunes Match Deletes all Music from all devices

My wife purchased and turned on iTunes match last night. She did this through her iPad and then turned iTunes match on on her HP Laptop. All of her music is now gone on all her devices. She had aprox 500 songs on her iPad which are now gone. Is there a way to restore music from an iPhone or iPad back up? Is there a way to recover the music from the cloud or another source. Maybe if I understand how the music was erased I can find it?. Any input or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

You can't, it's a fact. If one tries to enable iTunes Match on an IOS device before subscribing on the computer you will get a message alerting you to 'conect to iTunes on your computer'.
You subscribe via computer and then wait for it to match your entire library. Once everything is matched/uploaded it will be available in the cloud and to your other devices.
Now if she subscribed on the computer, had music on her iPad that wasn't synced, and then enabled iTunes match that's different. That would be the users responsibility though.
