Matching CC to CS6
I just downloaded CC and was able to implement my workspace from CS6 and load presets. But color settings and other preferences along with screen colors etc are not how I want them. Any way to match everything with my CS6? Thanks
Programs are not linked, you will have to change manually to get same settings.

Matching cameras in cs6 prem pro.
Canon hfg10, 60d, hfm56, i belive in fcp you can click a button and it matches all camera colours, can this be done in cs6 prem pro.
There's no such button in Premiere Pro, but there is a shot matching tool in Speedgrade CC:
http://helpx.adobe.com/speedgrade/using/whats-new.html
It's not a hardware-referenced correction so it doesn't actually match 'cameras' - instead it looks at the spectra of each shot and tries to work out the differences between tints on shadows/midtones/highlights. You can't feed it a GoPro sweeping landscape and an Alexa interior headshot, but if the two frames depict roughly the same content it does quite a good job. You can then save the correction data for each camera as a 'look', and back in Premiere Pro CC that look can be applied to all the other bits of footage via the Lumetri effect.
If you want an absolute 'reset' of each clip back to a reference standard, again you'll need to use Speedgrade; this time with the aid of a Macbeth chart. That workflow is a lot more complicated as it was only designed to work with cinema hardware. There is a hacky workaround using Lightroom and the X-Rite plugin:
Export a still frame showing a Colorchecker card,
Import to Lightroom as a DNG file,
Use Lightroom & X-Rite to make a DNG calibration profile,
'Develop' the still frame so the chips are now accurate (and set your expoure and luma end points),
At this point you could save the develop preset and apply it to other video files in Lightroom's Library module but you'd have to transcode your footage and Lr's video export options are limited to say the least.
If you want to use the 'calibration' back in Premiere, it gets fun:
Send the developed DNG to Photoshop and export as a TARGA file,
Import the TARGA to Speedgrade CC, then shot-match your video of the Colorchecker to this still frame (here's where you lose a lot of accuracy as the shot matcher isn't comparing each color chip, only the RGB curves),
Save the correction data as a .look,
Apply back in Premiere with the Lumetri effect. -
Beginner Website Tutorials do not match CS5.5 or CS6. Why?
It is impossible to get through the basic tutorials provided to show how to create a website, etc. Has anyone actually tried it? The information does not match current Dreamweaver CS6 or even earlier Dreamweaver CS5.5, at least on the Mac software version. I have done many websites but wanted to get a fresh perspective and see if I missed anything, and if I could pick up some new details given the major changes that have been happening with responsive web design. Please update. If there is a better or more accurate tutorial, please provide it. Sending people to what I found is a sure way to discourage people.
Hi John. I guess I stayed up way too late. I believe I am getting to the root of the problem and it is surely due to my own ignorance. Even though I had just recently installed CS6, and even more recently installed some third party extensions extensions using their CC install versions, I should have installed CS versions. The instructions sent me to some basic CC tutorials which did not match what I was seeing.
Creating your first website – Part 1: Set up your site and project files | Adobe Creative Cloud tutorials
Now, I have to figure out what I need to do, must do, etc. Any suggestions are welcome. Since the interface appears to be so different for HTML5 at least (which is what I need to be learning and using, apparently), should I make the change to CC and if so, how best should this be done and why are the advantages? -
How do I save an Illustrator CS6 document down to a previous version like CS2?
I thought I've seen a way to save down to previous versions before, but I can't find it now.
I Googled to find the answer, but everything I've found seems to be about previous versions of Illustrator because the screenshots don't match my Illustrator CS6 for Mac.
Some Google results say to try Export instead of Save as, but I don't see previous versions as options when I try either one.
I'm probably missing something obvious.File > Save
then give the file a name
then hit the Save button.
This should bring up a box similar to the one below (that's from CS4). Choose the version from the drop-down menu circled in red.
Edit to add; Too slow on the keyboard again! -
Service Policy won't attach to interface - NO error
Hi,
Am doing some simple CE VoIP QoS for a IPSEC/GRE Customer. I try to ATTACH the policy to the tunnel outbound and the command is accepted without any error but nothing appears in the config.
Here's the base config:
class-map match-all IPSEC-VPN
match access-group name IKE_ACL
class-map match-all ROUTING
match ip dscp cs6
class-map match-all NETWORK-MANAGEMENT
match ip dscp cs2

class NETWORK-MANAGEMENT

class IPSEC-VPN

class class-default
(config)# int t203
(config-if)#service-policy output SHAPE-ADSL-UPLINK
NOTHING appears in the config and sh policy-map int t100 shows an unapplied policy.
Using:

Another bug?
ThxPolicy should read (nested):

Hello Experts,
I currently have QoS settings on my switch:
class-map match-any VOIP
match dscp cs5
match dscp ef
class-map match-all VIDEO_Conference
match dscp af41
class-map match-all ROUTING
match dscp cs6
policy-map myLAN
class VOIP
set dscp ef
class VIDEO_Conference
set dscp af41
class ROUTING
set dscp cs6
interface g1/1
ip address 10.10.12.1 255.255.255.0
ip pim sparse-mode
service-policy input myLAN
service-policy output myLAN
I understand that the class-map is for defining the traffic and policy-map is for creating policy for the map traffic. But still confusing the ways they're working.
For this example:
class-map match-any VOIP
match dscp cs5
match dscp ef
How do i know that VOIP packet is cs5/ef? are there any predefined info for VOIP packets? what are cs5 and ef really playing the roles here?
Thanks.Hi,
Thanks for the reply, for this CS5 again:
class-map match-any VOIP
match dscp cs5
match dscp ef
I've checked from my switch:
Switch(config-cmap)#match dscp ?

cs7 Match packets with CS7(precedence 7) dscp (111000)
default Match packets with default dscp (000000)
ef Match packets with EF dscp (101110)
when it says 'cs5 Match packets with CS5(precedence 5) dscp (101000)', does that mean the network packet's binary has to match this binary 101000 to able to define it as cs5?
I need to wrap my head around this QoS since i've been having a serious confusion about this QoS things. How would you explain this below in our language?
class-map match-any VOIP

Batch export of individual clips? Premiere timeline to Media Encoder??
I have a bunch of clips on a CS6 timeline.
I want to batch encode them out.
I'm trying to figure out how to take those clips to Media Encoder so I can batch export them out all at once.
I've heard I can pull them all into a folder in CS6 and then batch export them out of that folder - though I can't seem to drag the clips en masse from the timeline to the folder (as I can in FCP7) - Premiere seems to only allow one clip to be dragged at a time. Very tedious. And the suggestion I read on the Forum doesn't quite match MY Premiere CS6 (the menu items are not the same).
Any suggestions would be most appreciated...
BenHi joe bloe,
It is similar. And then my question is: how do I get all the clips on the timeline into a bin in one drag and drop (not one at a time)? And once it's in the bin, what are the menu steps to batch export?
I have a vague memory of using the Media Encoder to batch out some clips several days ago - but can't remember if they came directly from a Premiere timeline...
Apologies. I'm in the middle of a complicated job, with three different type cameras going, two of which I haven't used before, and thus my brain is a bit fried for searching through manuals.

Hello Guys,
I have converted ap 1131 from autonomous to lwapp successfully by using upgrade utility tool but the AP does not join the WLC 2106. I can see it as a neighbor on the switch with no IP address. please help me.
Thank youHello Scott,
Thank you for the reply
Please find the attached file for the config, i found out that i have not updated the time on WLC but i did update the time on WLC and tested for other AP and this one too wont join the WLC. The ap are located remote.

6880 Port policy map - TCAM error re configured L4OPs
Hi,
I'm working through a QoS configuration for the 6880-X-LE with 6800Ia FEXs. The QoS configuration, policymap, classes, ACLS etc have all been accepted fine.
I can apply a service policy to an interface but when I do I get the following errors come up:

The new dark grey (83) is a problem for my printing.
With a darker background your eyes are tricked to thing what you are looking at is brighter than it is. Any chance on a 18% grey layout?
and yes I have changed the background on the canvas or what ever it's called, but would rather see the rest of the menus be able to go back to 18% grey (125).You can change the darkness of the UI in Photoshop's preferences dialog, under the Appearance panel. One of the settings more closely matches the pre-CS6 color scheme than the default.

Hello!
This is a very basic, but I think important inquiry... I am giving myself a crash course on VoIP/QoS and have some trouble with the foundation of it. Some is conceptual and some is practical.
So far I understand the ip precedence, DSCP and different types of shaping, etc. I found that on the call signaling side we were missing to detect under one policy the CS3 and CS6 traffic... all voice media is, apparently, marked EF and guaranteed bandwidth percent.
I don't have the luxury of a lab right now, and have been trying to optimize our voice on the locations with poor bandwidth (1.5Mbps T1) ...
One thing I don't understand is how this traffic is originally created with the marked header? Is it the actual cisco phone? is it a setting in call manager? is it call manager itself? is it because of the specific command or configuration within each switch "switchport voice vlan 100"? is it the combination of some or all of the above?
I am trying to learn as I go. I have foundation, good understanding of networks, traffic, packets, routing, etc. Some VoIP foudndation... but lack a solid QoS foundation to better serve our immediate needs.
Here is what I developed so far and found to be useful, although I am unsure of the "input" service policy. It seems to have helped, but honestly I'd like to know exactly why. And what I lack is the knowledge of how the packets are created by what... If anyone can shed some light here it would be a tremendous help!! Thank you for reading!

That makes sense... Now I just need to dip my head deep into Call Manager...
So if I take it from the top and track, trace and make sure all is marked properly... I could even config my switches to process/prioritize packets with ip precedence X and queue the rest...
Cool! ... Thanks again Sr! -

ThomasI have the same problem. I found this info, it might be related to your problem. For me, I only have one spoke on my QoS/DMVPN Hub tunnel. However, I am running MPLS-VPN, multiple Hub tunnels connecting to multiple spokes so the policy could be see all spokes connected to my router, not just the hub tunnel.

I have a 500px x 500px document open but the size that it looks on Photoshop at 100% does not match the size that is 500px on the web. How do I change it on Photoshop CS6 so that it will give me an accurate display of the pixel size?
(I don't know if this needs to be mentioned but I am working on the new macbook pro and just downloaded the new photoshop update for retina displays).
Thank you in advance!!!Ask in teh PS forum. Generally, though, pixels are pixels. Perhaps you simply have things backwards - as far as I know by default Safari doubles image sizes on Retina devices, which can lead to such discrepancies. There's an option for that in the prefs.

In AE CS6, the sound does not match with video
Hi,
I would like to ask a question. I have AE CS6, and I recorded a gameplay video with Avermedia Live Gamer HD. The format of this video is .mp4. When I import the .mp4 into the program, the sound does not match. On the original video, when i play with VLC or WMP, all things are good, and when i import, the sound does not good. What causes this problem, and can I do something to solve this?
Thanks the answers, R3dLinECheck your footage interpretation, split the audio in an external program, convert the sample rate and import it separately or whatever. Most likely you simply have used unsuitable recording settings with odd sample and data rates.
