Material is not activated error in MM

Hi,
We'vs installed SAP IDES in our Landscape recently. Whenever I tried to create a new material using MM01 transaction code, it creates. But then when I tried to view the same in MM03 or MM02 it throws an error of the following,
The material XXXXX does not exist or is not activated
Message no. M3305
I'm unable to diagonis the problem properly. Will appreciate your help.

Thanks a lot Kishore.
But unfortunately we don't have any Basis Guy separately. I was doubling up as Basis as well APO in my org . I'm pretty new to all these stuff. I searched in help.sap.com about this a lot, but couldn't find anything useful.

Activation error: Printer not activated, error code 20

I have had my officejet 4215 all-in-one printer well over a year and it has connected and printed whatever I wanted. Yesterday when I wanted to print an email it would not and the following box popped up: Activation error: Printer not activated, error code 20. Then the next box that popped up said: Printer Error An unknown error occurred while printing.
If I copy the email over to a Microsoft Windows page, then i can print it fine.
Any idea how to fix this so I can print email's like I used to?

Material Ledger not activated in Material Master--Urgent

We have created Material Master of Project Material With tag "Do NOT Cost" but Material ledger not get activated. although In plant material Ledger is activated .
Can any body Help to find out solution

PS Dan, it is the same database/code problem I sent
to you earlier this year. It is getting to the point
that I am going to have to rebuild all this database
centric code (which is where it needs to be in the
business process) within our GIS (ArcInfo) which is going
to be far more complex and not sustainable in the medium
term.

Source system not Active error while installing BI content cube

When I try to install the BI content cube, In logs it is showing the error message as "Source client not Active". I activated the source system in modelling tab. Still the problem continues. In source system assignment of BI content the source client is also checked. Please give me a solution.

If you want to select only infocube, select "Only necessary objects" in grouping. If you want everything related to Info cube, then system will collect data source also and for that it will check if you are authorized in source system. Please check if the source system is connected to BI or you can do one thing activate the data source in source system and replicate it in BI.

ICMAN not Active error in SICF

I am working with Consuming Webservices. I am working on ECC 5.0 system.
In SICF when I have activated following services :

But when I am testing any of the services I am getting an Error message "ICMAN not ACTIVE" in SICF.
This happens even after /default_host/sap/public/icman is activated using context menu 'Activate service'.
Please guide me in this.

MRRL GR-based invoice verification not active error

Hi,
I have a vendor that has ERS active.
Before it was activated four POs were raised, goods receipted and invoiced. All 4 POs have freight charges (for the same vendor)
When I run MRRL with "Settle goods items and planned delivery costs", which I have to do, these four POs are coming in even through they are fully invoiced already. This is frustrating the clients who can't understand why old purchase orders are coming in at all.

As have already mentioned for every purchase order with flag 'ERS' a table entry is generated.
If a goods receipt is posted, this goods receipt should be invoiced via ERS (transaction MRRL). Manually posted invoices should be avoided, because the record in table EKRS will not be deleted. Material documents will be written to table EKRS and if you invoice manually (for example, via MIRO) this entry will still be there. Then, correctly, the system
will read this table and take these items as not invoiced. This is correct and according to the standard system design.
In general, if you processed an invoice manually for a transaction, you should exclude the transaction from ERS to avoid it being included in the log the next time ERS is run. To do so, you run ERS online in test mode, select the item and Exclude from ERS for the item. You can do this by Highlight the relevant lines and then click on the "Save" icon
('Exclude from ERS' - Ctrl+S ).

I would like to ask what would be the impact if we activate ML only in one plant. The company code has 2 plants assigned to it. We are currently implementing transfer pricing but only to one plant. What is the impact of activating the PC valuation to other plant under the same company code?

Usually to add transportation cost or freight to the material cost at the time of STO we will use the seperate pricing procedure & condition types.
same way we can do one thing..
1)define the seoerate pricing procedure for STO
2)include condiion types for mfg cost, transport cost, margin etc etc & define the condition types in such a way that this all condition type values are get added to inventory.
3)create STO & give values for all condition types in STO
4)create delivery PGI
5)create excise invoice
6)create GRN at receiving plant.

Yeah, agree with Milos. Please provide more information for further troubleshooting.
From your initial subject it seems you are facing issue with printer activation on your server. The error may be caused if the wrong printer is set as the default printer, the printer driver is missing, or if there are conflicts in the device manager. Please
make sure below 3 steps whether it’s get some workaround.
Step one: Make sure the desired printer is set as the default printer
Step two: Re-install the USB Composite Device from Device Manager
Step three: Reinstall the Software for that particular printer

Hi!
At least we have now the source of your problem. If you have a basis guy (or team), ask him to look after this.
There can be a lot of simple reasons for this problem: system is done (e.g. for offline back-up), system is overloaded (e.g. because of performance test), router dumped...
If you know this system and can logon yourself, you could check for some problems - but best would be to ask your local system administration.
