Material Master and CMIR Texts not copied after Client Copy

Hi All,
We had a scenario wherein we had to copy our production client and create a new client (Preproduction). When we performed the client copy, i see that the texts maintained in material master (sales text) and Customer material info record are not not copied into the new client.
Can somebody suggest me a way out for this..

SAP* not authorized after Client copy

Dear All,
Here's the scenario:
1. Created a new logical system for a new Quality client 230.
2. Created the new client 220
3. scheduled a test remote client copy from the new client, source Production. (Successful)
4. Scheduled the actual client copy to run last night.
5. Today morning, I'm logging into the new client with SAP*, it prompted me to change password.
6. I want to look for the client copy logs (SCC3), but getting "not authorized"
7. Checked all other transactions, all giving "not authorized" error
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Better to go for Client Export Import process . This is what SAP reccomends for coping clients between
different systems ( Like from Production to Quality ) as the remote client copy has many
disadvantages..
For this 1 ) you should get the downtime of production system and do the client export process .
SCC8 . See the logs at scc3 .
2) Copy the datafile and cofile to the Source system
3) Import it usting stms_import .
Monitor the logs as the logs will be grown massive and make sure enough space is there.
4) After client copy , go for post processing ( scc7 ) .

BI analysis auths and traces don't work after client copy

Hello,
We recently moved our BI Development to a new server. Now, the analysis authorizations I created and assigned to the S_RS_AUTH object are no longer working. And, the 'Execute as User' feature in rsecadmin transaction to trace a user is no longer working.
Do I need to regenerate something or reconfigure something?
I inherited this system and was not the original person to set up BI authorizations and traces so I do not know what steps may need to be repeated after a client copy.

It was actually our Developer who made changes to the reports I was testing and really didn't have anything to do with the client copy.
However, the trace functionaly was weird. I had to change a parameter on my user id to get it to work. So, actually, the client copy did change that setting.

Country key INR is not defined after client copy

Dear All,
I'm doing a client copy in my solution manager system.
Target Client         100
Source Client        000
Copy Type           Local Copy
Profile                 SAP_CUST
Status                 Successfully Completed
User                    SAP*
The log from SCC3 shows that the copy is successful. However, when I'm logged in to client 100 (new client), I have problem assigning the profiles to the user.
In SU01, when i was assigned the profile (SAP_ALL) to the user, the message says that "Profile SAP_ALL does not exist or is not active".
so I have use SU21 and reactivate SAP_ALL profile, then SAP_ALL assinged sucessfully
But when i try to assine SAP_NEW profile to user, message says that "Profile SAP_NEW does not exist or is not active".
However, when i try creating a new user in SU01, a message box prompted out an warning "Inconsistency with address" and "No default co. address has been maint. in the system. Create an address". When i try to create the address, the entry for "country" does not have any choices and values. If I fill in my entry, the system displayed "country key XXX is not defined"
Did do something wrong here? Please suggest how to correct this issue

So its mean that SAP_NEW profile is not required now?
and as per note 1164216, i have mentioned entries of country code in table T005 and its work.
Time zone INDIA does not exist- for that i use the note 198411 and its also work.
But "Company address could not be created" could you please help[ in this

Material Master - Purchase order Text view as plant specific

Is there any provision in standard SAP to make Material Master u2013 Purchase order Text view as plant specific.
Example: Material Master u2013 Sales text view is sales org & Distribution channel specific and the sales text is unique of each of the sales org and distribution channel combination.
i.e, if we change sales text for a sales org and distribution channel combination, it will not affect the sales text of another sales org and distribution channel combination.
Similarly, can we make the Purchase order Text view as plant specific? How to achieve this?
As of now, if we change the text for one plant, it will be affected to all other plants also.

The solution you have given is applicable if the info record PO text is used only in Purchase order?
Moreover, we are not using plant specific info records.
We want to use material master PO text for some other custom transactions.

For case A, create insp plan with usage "1- production" If you have one IP with this usage for given material then system will assign Plan to lot automatically. In your case for second plan update usage as 1.
For case B, system should assign 1st plan make sure for both plan udage is correct. for 1st plan usage should be 5 while 2nd plan usage should be 1. Now if your 1st have status 4 and key date before lot date then system will assign plan auto.

Two are different master info objects and can't get them from one data source.
think about multi provider or info set on two master data objects to club them.
Info object - 0MATERIAL and data source - 0MATERIAL_ATTR
Info object - 0VEDNOR and data source - 0VENDOR_ATTR

Hey i suggest you to go to LSMW direct input program method. That's the best option.

The values that are maintained in the material master in costing view is considered only for costing
purpose.
Say while doing the cost estimate for a material using CK40N,a costing variant will be used and say For
Eg,PPC1,for this a valuation variant will be linked ,as per this valuation variant for costing purpose the
first priority would have been given to the planned price in the material master in costing 2 view.
So this value will be considered only for costing purpose.
For procurement related things you have to maintain a purchase info record for a material + vendor
combination in ME11 and a source list in ME01.
In the purchase info record you can maintain a price for buying the material from that vendor.
I hope this will clear your doubts.

On the iPod, make sure your Calendar is set to Gregorian (Settings > General > International > Calendar). Also make sure your date and time on your computer is correct as well as the Time Zones on both.

EWZ5 unlock users after client copy does not work

Hi All
I have following problem, i made client copy and i locked user in EWZ5 on both systems (source and target). Than I made client copy with profile SAP_CUSV (customizing with variants). The problem is that after the copy i am unable to unlock users on the targat client in EWZ5. I see users locked in the transaction but when i click unlock than no one is unlocked (result like there are no locked users) and users still remains locked (i tried to log on). On source system unlocking was working ok.
Any suggestion are highly appreciated.

Did you checked syslogs? You can also execute the sql statement, below, on sqlplus;
update <owner>.usr02 set uflag='0' where bname='EWZ5';
