Material master source file error !

HI all !
When i open my tab delimited file in excel (so that it is easily editable), i face a problem and that is values like '00204' OR '0001' get converted to 204 and 1 respectively and that causes error as such values are not what that particular field expects.
if somebody cud give me a permanent soln for that ,that wud be grt

hi suresh i think ppl r nt getting me , i have a source file .which is to be uploaded and not in the system yet.i need to upload it and not download it and there is no question of transferring it to a char type variable at all.

Dear All,
I am able to schedule the Crystal report successfully means mail gets auto triggered as we set in SCHEDULE option. But when we tried to use the notification option we get the status as FAILED. nd in details we get "source file error. [No such file or directory]: [CrystalEnterprise.Smtp]".
But still a mail gets triggred and each and every person will get mail. but the issue is notification will not work properly and no notification mail. And the status is despayed as FAILED with "source file error. [No such file or directory]: [CrystalEnterprise.Smtp]" this message.

Do you have multiple job servers in your environment? Did all the Job servers configured SMTP settings?

Source File Error

I installed Creator 2 update 1, and run the tutorial
"Getting Started With Sun Java Studio Creator"
After creating a web application, the Visual Editor shows:

I imagine the binary download may have been corrupted. If you haven't already done so, can you try to download Crreator 2 U 1 once more, but now using the Sun Download Manager?

Did you reinstall CS3 after CC?
For that matter, doing an in-place upgrade on the OS is always a gamble with Adobe programs. Reinstalling all the versions you need, in order, would probably solve your problem.
And you shouldn't need to save as IDML after opening the .inx in CC.

Exception Handler Error: Source File Error please help me out

Hai i have simply added a text field and a button and i am trying to submit the data entered in text field to the database by pressing button.
It is compiling and running successfully. but when i press the button it is showing that exception handler : Source File error.

Could you post initial part of the exception displayed in the Error Page. With out it, it is difficult to say what is happening!

Source file error again

I am getting really fad up with not being able to do simple things with this prog...... all I want is a file to go into encore ......if I go to dynamic link to encore it gets so far then tell me encoding failed...... now I'm getting this error message again .

its strange really as I have 2 time lines in PremPro I have already exported the first timeline to encore and its burnt off and plays ok .......Now I go to export the second timeline it plays up.
That might indicate that there is a problem with the second Sequence/Timeline.
Tell us all about your Project, with details paid to the Assets, where they came from, the format/CODEC, etc. The more detail provided, the more likely it will be that someone can find the problem.
As a "test," try things the "old fashioned way," by doing an Export from your problem Sequence as elemental streams, i.e. a non-muxed stream pair of one Video-only file, and one Audio-only file. In En, Import the Video-only file as a Timeline and the Audio-only file as an Asset. From the Project Panel, drag the Audio-only file to the appropriate Timeline. Establish the proper navigation with Links, and test Burn a DVD RW, or BD RE.
Let us know how that goes.

Material Master Text Load Error

Hello Everyone,
I am trying to load material master text. I am getting a data load error. Here is the error message.
Error Message:; Record filtered in advance as error records with the same key exist.
When i checked the longtext for that error, i got this info.
Diagnosis
     The existing DTP requires a serialized update because fields are updated
     non-commutatively during the processing run (for example, MOVE).
     Therefore all new data records that have the same semantic key as
     incorrect records that have not yet been corrected in earlier requests
     or earlier data packages of the same request, are filtered out after the
     extraction in a special step. In this way the system ensures that
     incorrect data records are not repeated for your changes, which may not
     contain errors themselves.
System Response
     The data record is not updated but is written to an error stack.
Procedure
     Correct all incorrect data records and update them using an error DTP.
I did not understand the diagnosis message. If anyone could help me out, that would be helpful.

Hi Lasya,
If there are records in error stack and DTP is executed the next time the record keys are compared to the records in the error stack and all records which are listed in the error stack are filtered out and will not be sent to the master data update.
So you have to delete the entire DTP which also deletes the error stack or you have to correct the records in the error stack maintenance and then update the records from the error stack separately via an error stack DTP into the data target.
Regarding to the records in the "error stack", the 'error stack' button in the DTP monitor only shows data related to this request. If you want to view the whole error stack including all requests for a certain DTP, you have to call the error stack from the DTP maintenance.
If you decide to delete the error stack for the DTP. Please make sure you do it from the DTP maintenance and not the DTP equest.
Usually the error stack can be deleted by removing the incorrect requests from the data target. The other possibility is to delete and recreate the whole DTP.

Inital material master data load error

Hi experts,
We are on ecc 6.0 and gts 7.1.
While loading the initial material master data from R/3 to GTS,Transaction (/SAPSLL/MATMAS_DIRR3),I am getting the error ( for 1 material)-
Of 1 selected material(s), 0 were processed successfully
Message no. /SAPSLL/PLUGINR3112
When I try to load the required list of material, the error is same.
The RFC data distribution model is working for vendors and customers properly.
We want to use only compliance mngt and embargo functionality to block orders.
Can you give me some guidence?

it is hard to tell, why it is not working. There could be different reasons.
Please check if you have entered the correct data.
It could be that the relevant tables for transfer are not filled.
Please execute the following:
- BD53
- select message type (/SAPSLL/MATMAS_SLL)and edit it
- select a segment
- save
- deselect segment again
- activate
- set in trx BD60 the FM to the correct value
(/SAPSLL/MATMAS_DISTRIBUTE_R3)
You can than check with the programm: '/SAPSLL/PLUGIN_CHECK_R3' if
all 4 required tables (TBD24, TBD62, TBDA2, TBDME) are filled, or not.
If that's all fine I suggest you open a CSS ticket as then a more detailed analysis is necessary.

While accessing lighthammer getting missing HTML Source File error.

Hi Friends,
While tryining to logon to Lighthammer I am getting below error:
(Missing HTML Source File: D:/Lighthammer/Illuminator/Temp/HomePages/admin/HomePage_admin.htm)
On checking at location D:/Lighthammer/Illuminator/Temp/HomePages/admin I found that folder admin is not available
and when we restore it from backup it get deleted as soon as we try to logon again.
This is happening with all other users also. As a workarround we first logon to Lighthammer and when it gives error we paste folder for corresponding user (admin in this case) with home page under D:/Lighthammer/Illuminator/Temp/HomePages then it works.
We are using MII version 11.5 on windows 2003.

I checked directory D:/Inetpub/wwwroot/Illuminator/HomePages and it does not exist.
But this directory also not exist on any other system including the production systems which are working fine.
Also checked the permissions and there seems to be no permission issue.

I have applied RSKC tcode in BI with ALL_CAPITAL, ALL_CAPITAL_PLUS_HEX, and one special character string. but still getting the same error.

which string i should have to add in RSKC to remove this error ? i have already added the ALL_CAPITAL, ALL_CAPITAL_PLUS_HEX.

Master source files mysteriously go offline, no workaround-{??}

I am working on a short film project in Final Cut Pro (latest version, but not latest update). I imported the footage as a master clip, then split it into three large clips. Anyways, I have the whole thing edited except a few additionaly scenes on a new tape. So I try to log and capture the last remaining scenes with a new camera I just bought, but I keep getting a message saying "Cannot capture footage as there is no video". This problem didn't exist with my old camera, so I get confused. What happened was, in my haste I fiddled around with some settings I shouldn't have. I think the problem started when I switch my MEDIA MANAGER file destination to another external hard drive. I don't know why I did this, but I thought it would help. Around this same time, I tried to log and capture by "batch", something I have never tried before. But then I realize something - More than half of my film has gone offline!!
When I try to reconnect the media and perform a SEARCH, I get a referenced film called "Untitled1" that is a 5 second clip that has nothing to do with the 12 minute clip of footage that has gone offline in my timeline. So, I try to manual find the 12 minute file, but cannot. At this point, I am afraid that my 12 minute file, which could have been named "Untitled" also has been replaced by this 5 second clip. So, I try and search ALL "Untitled" files, but my 4 or so Gig file is not showing up. To my knowledge, the file couldn't have been deleted, since I seem to have the same amount of free space on the hard drive as I had before.
Next, I figure it's somehow the camera, which wouldn't let me import new footage. I return the camera and get a new, (and albeit twice as expensive) camera, but the same error persists. [[on a side note: If in log and capture, you get a 'preview disabled', how does one ENABLE preview?
Anyways weird thing is, I see the footage fine in the camera's LCD, but not on Final Cut, which is telling me there is no video. And, at this point, I'm not sure what it is exactly I did when I fiddled with my Final Cut Pro settings to screw it up this much. A third of the film, referencing "Untitled2" and "Untitled3" master files is still there and plays fine, and all of my EDITS are there, except that that other 3/4 of footage is offline and unviewable. [[rendering all doesn't help at all]]
I tried opening a new project and importing, but I get the same error message and cannot import my tape. I tried OLD tapes that worked fine before and were already used, but the problem persists. I've tried everything I know, but I cannot get my footage ONLINE. I can find no place on my computer where most of my footage should be. When I tried to reconnent using a different file, my offline edits can completely thrown off, but at least I made a backup for THAT. I should have made a backup to the original, but that was my error.
At this point, it seems I need to reedit it, but I can not even import my original tapes now!!!
I would immensely appreciate help, as I am in turmoil and have a deadline to send this film in to complete my short film collection.
I can supply more information, but please respond, and I will work with you. This film means everything to me.

I was just walked through a repair procedure by an Apple Care person, and it fixed my camera recognition problems (I have a Canon XL1 and sometime after installing Tiger, then 10.4.1, various patches (including Quicktime 7.1) and the latest Desktop Video patch, I've been unable to use the camera with Final Cut Express, and attempts to capture would result in a FCE crash).
The workaround is to download Quicktime manually, after removing the "receipts" which indicate that it is loaded. Specifically, I was told to do the following:
1. Navigate to Library -> Receipts on your main drive (not from your personal folder).
2. Remove all files of the form QuickTime*.pkg, where "*" is a version number. E.g. QuickTime600.pkg, QuickTime650.pkg, Quicktime700.pkg and QuickTime701.pkg. This simply tells your system that those packages are not installed.
3. Go to http://www.apple.com/quicktime/downloads and click on the "download Quicktime" link. DO NOT USE THE AUTOMATIC UPDATE UTILITY. Download QuickTimeInstallerX.dmg. Double click this file (probably on your desktop) and then invoke the installer by double clicking QuickTime701.pkg.
4. After your computer reboots, you should be able to restart FCP and see your camera.

I have developed my scenario in the same way.But due to the values <NOTHING>
in Mandatory fields Source Directory and Filename,i am facing problem in Communication Channel Monitoring as it shows an error;even though the end-to-end scenario works successfully.
Plase note that our scenario is not to exclude the particular file but to pick the files serially after a certain delay.
Kindly provide some idea about how can we remove the error from Communication Channel Monitoring.

Sudhir,
In the sender file adapter, you have an option called "Processing Sequence".
By selecting ByName or ByDate you can make files get selected sequentially either ByName ( alphabetically ) or by the creation time stamp of the file.
In the sender file adapter also make the QOS as EOIO and give the QueueName as any value and the files will be processed sequentially.

Could not open LSMW conversion file for Material Master uplo

Hi,
When i am uploading Material Master data the error says Could not open the file proj_subproj_obj.lsmw.conv file.
I could read the conversion data in LSMW but there is a problem with session creation. I have created a Job and assigned a variant to it.
Please sugget me to resolve this.

Master data uploading error

We have prepared material master data file in the standard template which was provided by our Implementaion parter. Uploading is done through BDC , written by our partner.
The master data was uploaded , but when we compare the Uploaded data with the actual data file ( given in excel format) then we found out of 800 ( approx) records , 300 records were uploaded with wrong data in one particular column and rest of the column is correct.
For example : In data file values are as under

May you please help us to know that how the values are changed while uploading.
And what will be the best possible method to correct the wrong data of a particular column.
Will it be possible to write a BDC to modify the data of a particular column in the material master. As the information is correct.

Hi Harish,
Please check your excle file. I was face the same problem. When i checked the file then in some lines start with space. After correction this issue when i upload again the upload is successfull.
Pls try it if you are facing same problem.
