Material missing in GR
Hi,
I have created a PO with 3 materials but while doing GR against that PO only 2 materials are getting displayed.
Please tell the reason.

check the PO history for that material, it is already received, or the PO item has a lock, or is deleted, or it has a confirmation control key but no confirmation

MM11-Schedule Creation of Material: Missing MM views & custom fields?
Hi,
I am trying to implement use of transaction MM11/MM12/MM13, but I noticed that when I go to create or change material records I do not get the same mm views when I use MM01/MM02. (ex. i am missing classification view when trying to use mm11). I also do not get any of the custom fields that my company added to the material master? Any ideas where in IMG I can correct this?

Why is help material missing in system-config-users ?
When I press the Help button or select Contents item on Help menu of the system-config-users main window, Mozilla Firefox starts displaying the plain text error message:
File Not Found
Firefox can't find the file at /usr/share/doc/system-config-users-1.2.51/index.html.
that is true, since the directory is empty. The same is true with most system-config apps. The original Red Hat packages do have help files for all system-configs. Why are they missing in OEL-5? Oracle claims that OEL is fully compatible with RHEL. The help material, eg. User Manager, is copyrighted by Red Hat, but it can be distributed subject to the terms and conditions in the Open Publication License. If it didn't suite Oracle needs, then Oracle had to find another solution (eg. writing its own short help material). Leaving the help directory empty without any explanation and just let a user wondering what the hell is happening, is irresponsible. Anyway it's one of the things that end users are least willing to tolerate at all.I am not a lawyer. I am not in the inner circle. Any resemblance between my options and those of my employer are due entirely to the good fortune of my employer.
This is just my reading of the situation.
The OPL does not repeat the GPL words; OPL is a legal premise where GPL has been proven valid in several world courts. Maybe OPL is "just as good", maybe not. So the licensed docs had to come out of OEL first, even before replacement docs were ready. Probably a "must come out NOW" kind of executive decision from the Legal Department.
I know this post doesn't replace the missing documentation, but I hope it may help understand the omission. -

Material availability on order creation
Hi Experts,
In OPJK for availability check during creation under "material availabilty" tab i have maintained checking rule PP, collect. conversion 3 (no creation if material missing) and checked box "check availability while saving".
For availability check during release under "material availabilty" tab i have maintained checking rule 01 and release material 1 (user decides if parts are missing) and checked no other box.
But on order creation, inspite of material shortage scheduling is taking place. Only on trying to release material shortage is being shown. How to ensure that during creation itself user gets the option to decide if order is to be created in spite of shortage ?

I have maintained following settings in the system, system gives a information Message during order creation and system is rejecting the order release because of the missing parts.
1: Availability Check during order creation:
No check - unselected.
material availability during order save - checked
checking rule - (anyone) PP
Check type - atp
collective conversion - (any)
2: Availability check during order release:
No Check - unselected
Status check - unselected
material availability during order save - checked
Checking rule - (anyone) 01
Check type - atp
Release material - no release if parts missing
With this settings you should get the warning message " Order has missing parts" (CO292)
This is just a information message
If you try to release the order, it will get rejected because of the missing parts ( check the logs, again system will show the missing parts as information message only (CO281))
It is possible to save the order. If you want to check the missing parts click on the materials button to see the missing parts list.

Capturing excise invoice after MIGO
Hi All,
How can we capture and post excise invoice when GR already done for the PO., (material missed in J1ID and no condition records maintained while raising the PO), I have done the following, but I am unable to post part2:
1) Maintained the material in J1ID
2) Maintained the excise condition records
3) Captured the Excise invoice(J1IEX) with reference to GR document
4) Tried to post the Excise invoice thru J1IEX, but getting message"No Part I exists for availing credit in excise invoice"

You have captured excise invoice w.r.t GR document. But at time of MIGO, you should select "part 1 entry only" in excise tab and thus create a GR document. At this time, part 1 entry would be made. Then you can capture and post excise invoice with ref to GR document.
Please note that without part 1 entry, part2 (posting of excise invoice) is not allowed legally and SAPically. -
Account grouping/Transaction keys PRD/DIF
Hello Gurus
I have a situation that some MIRO posting are using PRD and some are using DIF transaction keys. For some reason The postings with DIF are not picking up the material thus resulting in putting dummy profit center.
Please advise the difference between PRD and DIF and how these are triggered during MIRO transactions.

The see what you are saying and it make sense after I read your reply.
The reason that I say that few MIRO postings are using DIF is because the posting key 83 debit and 93 credit are defined in the OBYC for DIF.
So when I looked at the document in the Vendor acct (after I post MIRO), I see the profict center and material missing for posting keys 83 and 93 for some postings.
Wheras I can see the profict center and material for posting keys 86 and 96 for some othe MIRo postings which use these posting keys.
Of course all these postings are generated automatically
So my question is where do I make a setting to have the material and profict center generated for posting keys 83 and 93.
I appreciate your help on this critical issue for me.

if yes and you want to maintain above then without stock you cant release the Order.

Not able to convert planned order via MD04 to PROD ORD

In MD04 transaction
I need to launch the material ARXXXXXXX-AR in production
I am selecting the planned order - 3YYYYYYY0
I am clicking on the convert to Production Order button.
I am getting the first message :
Error during availability check. for the order % 00000000001 u2013 (refer journal)
I validate the message and I have another message:
Material missing for the order (refer log)
I decide to launch the order with the missing one, and I again get the Error message of during availability check, and there, I get blocked and I cannot go further .. I cannot launch my PO.

Porblem is with material availability check. Check in OPJK and find what checking rule you have define for your order type for order creation and release.
second thing you have to do is go to material master of your all bom components and find out checking group (mrp3) and then check in opjj whether checking control for the combination of checking group (material master) and checking rule (order type) is
maintain or not. If not then maintain it.

I just tried my first conversion last night. I was shocked. Alignment was thrown off, some material missing, alignment thrown off, footer deleted from one page and kicked over to a blank page, Would not allow me to fill in some blocks, on others it would switch and print in bizarre fonts (illegible). I am amazes that Adobe would market such a bad product.

Standard Radio Button Tabs missing in Material Master
Dear Experets,
We have Upgraded from 4.5 to Ecc 6.0. We are finding an issue in Material Master.
When we create a material with the required selected Views and maintaing the datas like Basic Data and other Views, we usually have standard Radio button Tab to shift over from one View to another View. I am not able to find those Views either in Creation of Material Master, Or Change or Display ?
Can any one suggest on this? Is there any Patch is missing or any configuration setting has to be carried out ?

When you download iTunes material, does iTunes record the IP used where it is being downloaded to? I am trying to track a lost/missing IPOD Touch and want to know if they have that data. It was left on a small street and someone has found it and has been hacking into my account by resetting my password. They took about 41+ dollars from my account. One of my user has raised a request that the vendor information for some material is not displayed in report where as its available in ECC, now i have checked in BI that information for 20 material numbers is missing even in BI that is the reason not showing in the report.
