Need the the underlying table names which the Material Plan Detail Search p

Our supply planning users would like to obtain the demand and supply plan for a bunch of given parts by running a query against some tables. The data they need via a PS Query output in Excel format is the same data that is provided by the Material Plan Detail page in PeopleSoft Supply Planning (Menu Path: Supply Planning >>>Solve Plan>>>> Material >>>>>>Material Plan Detail). The main underlying table behind this page is PS_PL_MRP_DTL.
The problem is that this table contains data for only one Part Number (INV_ITEM_ID). The data is populated when Item ID is selected on the Material Plan Detail Search page.
What are the underlying table names which the Material Plan Detail Search page brings together to present the information for the selected part number on the target page (The Material Plan Detail page)?
If you could tell us the underlying table names (which the Material Plan Detail Search page brings together) we can write a query to present the data to the users for multiple part numbers at a time and not just one part number at a time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
We are on FSCM 8.9 Bundle 13

I looked as I needed one too - no BAPI for this - I guess you need to go with batch input for MD20 (worked fine in my LSMW so I guess in ABAP it should be also good)

User Exit for Material Plan Costs

I have an escenario where the client needs another option to calculate the material plan costs, but need to identify the correct user exit.
In transaction OKYF exist the option "U Valuation Price with User Exit" but need the user exit to use.

you can use unit costing for material option for this...
Automatic netowrk costing for material component
you need to maintain proper costing variant for material component in config.
in projects assign material then select material -edit - cost - unit costing.
which will get reflected in network cost in CJ40.

Material planning field in Activity

Hello All
When we select activity and go in detail screen, go to assignments tab - there will be a material planning field.
I am not able to see that field, is that a configuration , if yes where is the setting.

I have modified our network profile to include a material cost element for internal processed activities, but the material planning field does not show up.
I checked field selections, but it's not an available field to choose, which I presume is dependent on the network profile config described above.
Does the cost element used in the network profile have to be a specific type of cost element?
Is there anything else I could check?

How to add day in "Horizontal Material Plan"

I have already reviewed my MRP plan through Horizontal material plan. in that form i choose Display bucket type is "Days".
But only 36 days that appear in Harisontal material plan.
My requirement is : i want in horizontal material plan can appears at least 90 days.
It's Possible?
if Possible, how to setup it?

Raw Material Planning Through script logic

I am trying to do a Raw Material Planning in BPC based on Item Bill of Material.
I am capturing the Bill of Materials of Items in an Application
FGMaterial on one Dimension
and Raw Material in another Dimension
In another application (an input schedule) the users can do their Sales Planning of Fininshed Goods.

Forecast material plan & material reference in notification

Hi Experts,
How can I analyze the breakdown due to material shortage & how I plan these material in future so no such breakdown will b come in future.
For that I create once object part in notification as material shortage & create breakdown order there I reserve material ,so I got all breakdown data from IW66 with reference to that object code but system cannot show for which that breakdown come.
Again I created one notification type for material shortage there I take reference object Equipment number & material number but there also system cannot accept material no in notification. The warning msg come as material will b directly copy fr equipment no.,but mtr code not display in notification.
How can I map these scenario.

You can Map this by Using User Status in Order , No Need to Use Notification ,
Create 2 User Status ,
first One As "Material Available" , Make this As initial Status.
Second One as "Material Shortage" ,
Assign this to ur Order type , whenever you Create Order , Order will be having this "Material Available" as initial User Status , if you find Material is Shortage , Manually Set second user status "Material Shortage".
Whenever needed Run IW38 , In Variant Selection select "User Status " , filter it to display Order with user Status "Material Shortage " , you will get Orders with shortage .
Using this Order Number , In IW13 get all the Shortage Material & Plan for Next year
You Can Use User Status in Notification Also

I am going to implement SAP R/3 in process industry where i get raw material from farmers.I have to accept all raw material from surrounding villages because it's a government rule.So its necessary that all farmers should produce well quality yield. For that they must follow standard procedure to grow their crop.Is it possible to plan this using SAP PP?
How to face this type of sceanrieo?

Material planning currency in assignment tab of Internal activity

Hello Friends,
In the network configuration profile using OPUU, I have included material cost element in the activity parameter tab of internally y processed activity having control key PS01.
The inclusion of cost element as above will allow user to plan material value in the assignment tab of the internally processed tab. However, the currency displayed for planning is USD and that too is grayed i.e. non editable. Necessary screen shot is appended.
Can we change this default currency to object currency? Our is a global system in which is controlling area currency is USD but object currency is country specific i.e. for India INR, for SG the same is SGD, for Thailand it is THB etc.

Sales order with material & plan cost

Hi,
A sales order with material and assign WBS can display the plan revenue which equal sales revenue. How can I make the material cost also be display as plan cost? This material cost should equal standard price of material master.

It is not possible to copy material cost from sales order to project. Please activate network cost planning, and assign the same material in the project structure, so system will take the material cost in plan cost.

Dependent Requirements : During the planning run, dependent requirements are only created for BOM items that are relevant for production (This is defined in the item status by ticking Production relevant). If there is sufficient stock then system will not trigger Procurement Proposals and when we convert the Planned order of the Main product to Production order these Dependent requirements will be converted to order reservations
Procurement Proposals : If there is no stock exists for the components then either Planned orders, Purchase requisitions/Schedule Lines will be created during planning run depending on MRP control parameters and Procurement settings
If we look at MD04 screen of a component after running MRP for the higher level product, we can see both Dependent req and Schedule lines based on stock situation

Advance material planning for projects

Dear All,
We have a scenario for fabrication industry. Where client want to plan material procurement in advance for manufacture FG. But BOM of FG will come in later stage when design phase get finished in phases. Initial for cost planning and material procurement planning, they are finding out requirement of material quantities and costing happened on it. This material is planned for procurement, while the BOM will prepared in later design stage. FG are assigned to project activities, and project MRP will give planned orders. these material bom will rolled cost to activities, cost will get doubled and material too. How to handle this scenario, Any standard solution.

The advance procurement material list should be prepared and then it should be attached in initial stage to project.
Header(X)
Line item 1
Line item 2
This advance procurement BOM should be attached such that
the header(X) will become text item after attachment and
for the line items the Preq will be generated.
For this line item should be make to stock procurement type
and this should behave as dependent and independent requirement
and there will be no duplicacy of the requirements.
You need to dicuss this with PP consultant.

Raw material Planning

Suppose I am raising Sales order for same material from different plants.When i run MRP the sales order will be taken into consideration & it will create planned for base materail for which it sales order has been created.Will it create Planned order for
the raw material required for manufacturing the base material if raw material is not available.

If raw material is not available, then system will raise a PR automatically as per lot size you have specified in the material master.

Material planning from another plant

I am planning for X in plant P1
There is a material in Plant P2 and the same material added in BOM for X but the material is not maintained in plant P1
How this can be managed

Hi,
For that u have to create same material in both plants.
If it is in BOM of X, you can use special peocurement key for component, i.e.production in alternate plant,purchasing from alternate plant, etc.
So dependent requirement will be created in another plant for that material.
