VL01N delivery - material not available

Hi Guys,
i've tried searching in the forum before posting the thread but i did not find any useful answer for my case.
hope you can help.
i have done an order with material xxx, availability check carried out.
material has unrestricted use of 1230 kg.
the deliver should be don for 60 kg.
when i got to deliver the order system tells me that only 0 kg form material xxxx are available.
i've check md04 and available qty is 1230 kg.
MMBe available qty is 1230 kg.
in CO09 i found rec/reqd qty 1230 but 0 qty in ATP quantity.
i went again on the order, re-done the availability check but nothing change.
any idea?

in MMBE i have this situation,
Unrestricted use     1.204,700
Qual. inspection     904,600
Reserved     2.049,000
Sales orders     60,000
all the other field are 0
any ideas?

Hello Experts,
i have created Scheduling Agreement in Test system, with reference to this i created Sales
order.
i tried to deliver one Sales Order in VA02 for a perticular
finished material with 100 quantity,
i am facing the below errors
'Only 0 FT of material 200000000428 available'
An item with no delivery quantity is not permitted. Item will be deleted.
i checked the confirm quantity in Scheduling agreement its showing confirmed Qty in forecast delivery schedule
, even in sales order all schedule line are confirmed.
i checked the stock of the material in MMBE for the same, Though 20 000 quantity of material is
is available there but still i am not able to deliver the order.
Could you please help in this case ?

1) Ensure that safety stock is not maintained for that material in material master MRP view
2) Check in VL06G whether any delivery is created and saved for the same material without doing PGI
In both the above cases, though you can see the stock in unrestricted, you cannot post the goods issue.

Hi Everybody,
I have a case, need your help.
I have Customer Sch. Agreement - 'X' for a material 'Y' , for quantity 100.
For Y there is a schedule line dated on 20th Feb 2008 (20.02.2008) - in future for 100.
It is confirmed on that date - 20.02.2008.
Stock for the material in that plant in NIL (0) now.
Present Stock = 0.
Stock will be available on 20.02.2008
Can i create a delivery (delivery date -20.02.2008) on TODAY?
If delivery can be created - Can the delivery quantity be 100?
While trying getting this error msg "only 0 PCD of material are available"
Kindly give some suggestion.

Hello,
As per my understanding:
1) There is no stock available as on today (31.01.2008).
2) The stock will be avialable only on 20th Feb, so you can create the delivery only on 20th or after that (once the material become available in the storage).
3) If you want to create a delivery TODAY, you need to raise the stock manually, then do the availability check in the change mode of the agreement, you will be able to deliver it TODAY.
First of all check the material stock in MMBE, and chek for any requirements in MD04, then you will understand.

Function Module/BAPI to check if material is available in the warehouse

Hi all,
I have a requirement where i get the input as material number and i need to check if the material is available in stock and return the quantity of stock available. Do we have a Function Module/BAPI that takes the input as material number and tells if the material is available in stock or not.
The material can be a simple finished product, raw material or BOM. The function module should take the input as material number and should return if it is available in stock and the quantity that is available.
I donu2019t know if this is called ATP. Do we have a standard function module available for that?

I saw the BAPI and unable to figure out what paramters I should fill.
Plant, Material and Quantity I know. But rest of them like
Check Rule, STGE_LOC, batch, Doc_number, WBS_ELEM, STOCK_IND,
DEC_FOR_ROUNDING, DEC_FOR_ROUNDING_X, READ_ATP_LOCK, READ_ATP_LOC_X & MATERIAL_EVG.
In the BAPI documentation I dint find how to fill these paramters. Can you help me with hat I need to fill in the input paramters.

Check stock quantity available during Hu packing

Hi guys,
When I Pack HU on HU02 transaction, system don't check available stock for material packed.
So I can pack 1000 kg of material A, and for this material the available stock only has 700kg.
When I transfer HU, I have inconsistent information, on MMBE 'Stock overview' I have 700kg but when I display HU, the packed quantity are 1000kg.
Any ideia how I can solve this problem.

Go to T.code OPJJ.Select your Checking rule (which you have assign in your Checking Control for your Order Type in T.code OPJK) and activate Check for Include Reservation and dependent reservation as X.

Check the Stock of a particular material is available in SAP R/3 from Java

Hi all,
We have both SAPR/3 and Java Based Systems and going to integrate with XI.
For Java user is it possible to check the Stock of a particular material is available in SAP R/3 system or not.
For this requirement can we create any scenario and get the stock available info from SAPR3?
If so then which type of adapters we have to use in this case.
The Java user don't want to store any data here and there but just view the stock is available or not just from his end only.

You can use synchronous Java Proxy-XI-RFC.
Code the RFC to get the stock of R/3 material and route the response back to proxy.

Batch determination issue in process order Material quantity calculation

Dear Gurus,
We are facing issue in auto batch determination in process order (Material quantity calculation ).
eg Material X is active material 200 KIA used in BOM as
10 X   200 KIA
20 Y   10           Filler
30 Z
40 X   200 KIA
50 Y
60 Z
We select line item 10 and 40 and do Batch determination system proposes 2 batches for line item 10 as Batch A and B
and for line 40 again Batch A (with 0.01 KIA) and batch B proposed which is wrong.
For line Item 10 Batch A and B
For line Item 40 Batch B and C or as per FIFO logic.
As Batch A should be consumed in Line item 10 then it proposed Batch B and so on....
We have already maintain data in COB1.
Can any body explain what is wrong in determination.

Hello Shetty,
It may be due to some stock inconsistency. You may try iin case of a non HU managed storage location HU to run LX23 and it can fix discrepancy overwrting MM-IM with LE-WM data. But if it is a HU managed then you can run HUDIFF transaction but only to see if there is stock differences not to fix anything, usually SAP Support (Development Support) does that job.

Is there any function module which can help me retrieve material quantity for a particular material where i pass material number, plant, storage location and start date and end dates(posting period) for which i require the material quantity.

Material Staging/Availability Date not possible to change

Hello,
If I create a sales order with a configurable material and I got subitems related to the main material, into the "Procurement" tab I cannot modify manually the field Material Staging/Availability Date (VBEP-MBDAT) for the subitems.
I only can change the date related to main item.
Do you have any suggestions why I cannot change those dates?

I checked it and it is not set ("Do not form delivery groups") ... and it should be ok, isn't it?
if I add manually the same sub item with the same item category, than I can modify the Material Staging/Availability Date ... but this is not what we want do.

Contract updation for Delivered material quantity

Hi All,
I have a problem related, contract and release order updating with reference to delivered material quantity.
for example let's say contract is created for 1000 units of material A, after that sales order with reference to contract is created for 500 units and delivery is created for 300 units then remaining order quantity cannot be delivered as customer master is maintained so.
Now I want to create sales order for 700 units of 'A' but system is not allowing to do so saying the 500 units are already referenced.
If i use rejection reason in sales order still system is not allowing to create a new sales order with 700 units.
How to solve this issue?

Hi Manam,
thank you very much for your immediate reply.
But the issue is a sales order will have only one delivery as the sales order contains freight amount at header level which helps calculate the excise duties as the prices quoted to customer include freight and duties.
So now is that possible to update the delivered quantity at contract level so that undelivered quantity can be referenced to create another sales order and can be delivered.
To describe the process:
A contract will be created, a sales order will be created for required delivery quantity then delivery will be created. In case due to some problems if delivery quantity is less than sales order then the undelivered quantity will be getting updated in sales order. and the sales order undelivered quantity will be rejected and the contract will get updated.
Please help.

Hi Siva,
I hope you are talking about transfer posting with movement type 561 to get quantity of material in. If yes then you can go for BADI MB_DOCUMENT_BADI after put wait for few second and then get the document number generated.
Please correct my understanding if it is wrong.
