I have created a material and I want to maintain condition records for that material through MEK1
but there are so many condition types. I want to maintain the condition types which are related to material

it totally depends on you what condition records you want and for which condition types. for all the condition types for which access sequence is assigned you can create condition records and choose proper key combination "material/vendor" and enter your desirable price which you want to be picked up by the system at the time of PO creation.

Workflow and BPEM material related to IS-U

1. I have read somewhere that workflows related to SAP IS-U are available.
So could you please provide information (documentation) as where to find it and how can we modify it as per client requirement?
2. BPEM process is also available but documentation (ccokbook) or related info is not available.

During testing I have observed that I receive the local error in SRM u201CError creating follow on documentu201D, when I order and approve a shopping cart, where the quantity of the ordered internal material is completely available in the backend.
Is the error possibly connected with my u201CInternal Procurement Typeu201D-setting, being u201CAlways external procurementu201D?
Please allow me an additional question
What is the influence of a purchasing info record that exists in R/3, in the EBP shopping cart?
What I have observed is that even though for the internal material, that I am ordering in the shopping cart, a purchasing info record exists, still neither the price nor the vendor from that info record are taken into account within the shopping cart. Is it standard behavior?

hello again, friend.
in the material master, Sales Org2 view, you will find General Item Category Group and Item Category Group.
there are situations when the material behaves differently depending on the sales organization/distribution channel/plant. Let's say your material R1100 was created with item category group NORM in the following sales areas:
sales organization/distribution channel/division
1000/01/01
1000/02/01
now let us say that R1100 has a BOM created, and which should explode in the sales order for sales area 1000/02/01 only. you also want pricing and inventory relevance to be at Higher level and not at component level.
you will now execute MM02, enter Sales organization/Distribution Channel 1000/02, and go to Sales Org2 view. the entry in General Item Category Group can remain as NORM. you now change the entry in Item Category Group to ERLA.
after you save the material master, you make the necessary pricing condition records. now process sales order in sales area 1000/02/01. the material BOM will be exploded.
but if you process sales order for the same material in sales area 1000/01/01, there will be no BOM explosion.

I am very new to SCM module and looking for the following information;
1 - Whenever any material is created in ECC; How CIF updates all the relevant information to SCM.
2 - What is the equivalent table in SCM i.e. MARA in ECC..
In which table I can get the below fields at SCM.
a. Stock placement indicator
b. Fixed bin assignment for forward pick area
c. Max quantity
d. Min qty
e. replenishment qty

Check the OSS note 112312 for the procedure to add the fields.

Non Stock Material related

Hi
In our company we do not create masterial master of Non Stock Material. If I create Sales Order for suppose 20 chairs, it doesnt pick pricing procedure. More over the quantity field also goes blank every time the order is created.Can i also create invoice for this. Pleasae guide.

why pricing procedure is not determining when its maintained in OVKK for this document type,customer and sales area?
- Sales Area (determines from Sold-to Party Sales Area)
- Documnet Pricing Procedure (determines from Sales Doc Type in VOV8)
- Customer Pricing Procedure (Customer Master - Sold--to Party - Sales Tab)
whether we can run a sales cycle for a material with no Material Master
No, we can't run a SD process cycle for Non Stock Material without Material Master.
If you want to have SD process cycle without creating Materaial master then you can use Text item (TATX)
Normally, we don't create a material master these kind of item.
So, if you enter a material in the Sales Order just with description without giving the material number, then system will determine material with Text item (TATX)
Make sure the system have following kind of item cat determination for Item Cat TATX for your order type in VOV4

Usage
High level Item
