Hai Gurus
I created material No;21,22,23 in backend system.And carried required procedure for replicating all material.But material replication has done without my materials i.e..,21,22,23 etc
Could u guys help me on this

New materials created in ECC for a already replicated product category in SRM... transfer happens by BDoc, you can view the queues in SMQ1 & SMQ2.
Check that there are no filters setup in R3AC1
In SMW01, you can check the list of BDoc, for material replication BDoc type is PRODUCT_MAT, click on show BDoc message, you will see list of materials replicated via BDoc & errors if any.
Material Replication R/3 to SRM 3.0 - material not in COMMPR01

Hi Friend,
I dont think we can go with a sales order with a material without material master record.
But there are some cases where in we can create a sales order by entering a material which does not have a material master.
1. Through material determination
You can create a material determination for a material (1234) which exists in sap by a material(XYZ) which does not; For example in VB11 you can create a material determination for a material 1234 ( exists in sap) through a material XYZ which does not exists in sap.
While creating the sales order when you enter the material XYZ is not give any error and automatically determine the material 1234 which exists.
2. Text material
We can create a order/quote by directly entering a text in the material description and without entering the material. This the case for text material wherein text item category will be determined.
Please let me know if this help you. Else kindly elaborate the scenario.

What is the use of transction SMQS and SMQR ?
what is the use of registering inboud and outboud queue in SMQS and SMQR ?
Do material replication will not work if I will not register any queue in the said transaction code ?
If yes, what are the queue I need to register in SRM and ECC respectively ?

1. T code SMQS is used to register a destination and prior to this u need to define your destination by using T code SM59.
2.T code SMQR is used to set up the ques.CRM ---> CRM Middleware and Related Components -
>Queue Setup à Register CSA Queues.
3. to monitor and organise the Inbound and outbound queues.

Material Replication filtering problem

Dear Experts,
we are working on SRM 5.0 Server 5.5 and we are facing following problem during material replication and delta download replication. After making all steps related customizing objects alignment between R/3 and SRM, we putted the filter using transaction R3AC1:
- Table = MARA
- Field = PSTAT
- OP = CP
- Low = E
- Inclusive indicator
Then we Synchronized the filter and checked on R/3 table CRMFILTAB: the filter entry was existing even if disappeared after running on SRM MATERIAL Initial Download (strange!)
Our expectation was to get all materials from back-end having purchasing views and linked to material groups replicated. Unfortunately the number of materials replicated are less !!!!!
Also we tried to make delta download and the above filter is not taken into consideration during delta download: all products modified on the back-end are replicated, also those materials without purchasing view!!!!!
What is wrong???? What should we do for making this filter working???

Goods return without a Material Document Reference

Hi
Is there a way to do Goods return without a material document. Please suggest.
The situation is that a material will go to the field (material is being maintained against a serial number profile) and let suppose that it is returned after a few years of use. Then in such a situation I need to take it back into the stock through a return delivery. But it may not be possible to track the material documnet against which GI was done few years back. SO i need to have a provision that either goods be returned with a reference of a material Document OR I should be able to track the material document in the system (through a report) using the serial number. Request you to please suggest on these two cases.

If we do not know the number of the material document, we can also enter the delivery note number in the Delivery note input field.

Vendor and Material Replication from ECC6 Ehp7 to SRM7.0

Hi Experts,
I am facing an issue with replicating Material and Vendor Master from ECC to SRM system.
ECC system - ECC6.0 Ehp 7 & SRM system - SRM7.0
Middleware setting is done as per Note 720819 and performed the object like DNL_CUST_BASIS3 , DNL_CUST_PROD0, DNL_CUST_PROD1 and found Sucess in SRM R3AM1.
Errors :
1. Material Replication Error in SMW01
Mat. for Initial Download: Table not supported by function
Alternative units of measure are inconsistent; correct the values COM_PRODUCT_UNIT COMM_PR_UNIT

Validation error occurred: Module COM_PRODUCT_MAT_VALIDATE, BDoc type PRODUCT_MAT.

Material replication with LSMW and R3AC1

Hi experts.
I'm using SRM 5.0 trying import the materiais from backend R3.
I'm doing material replication using LSMW with batch-input of R3AC1, however after I mapping R3AC1 the transaction behaves diference way. Using other screens weren't mapping.
Anybody Knows how I can change de Batch-input mapping ? Or other way to make this replication?

any special reason for using LSMW?
there is readymade CRM middleware available in SRM which acts as interface to get the cust objects(matl grps) & business objects(matl /service masters)
but you need to make some table settings & site settings for this
filtering can be done for matl/service in R3AC1

I checked SMQ1 and SMQ2 in SRM and in my backend and those table are empty.
I set a filter and launch my material replication, but it still running for long long time. it is not normal and i don't know why...can you help me?

SRM ADDON ON ECC ( Material Replication)

Hi expert
We had activate the addon of srm on our ECC.
We replicated the categories product with cockpit syncronisation,
we tried to replicate material using MDS_ECCMAT_PRODMAT ---> without result
We tried to replicate material using MDS_PRODMAT_ECCMAT ---> Without result
In the syncronisation scoop, we choose 'ONLY Materialdata' and ' material and relationship data'
This method is correct? or we schould take onother way?

As above people suggest: re-check customising, everything done correctly?
Now to the addition: what you see is correct behaviour, the initial download is started from SRM, so it sends the request from SRM outbound to ECC inbound and then the data from ECC outbound to SRM inbound.
Basically, check all queues in all directions to see if there is a sysfail somewhere.

In this step, you can assign a purchasing value key and a valuation class to a material group.
The assignment of a purchasing value key provides you with default values for reminder levels etc. in purchase order items without a material master record and without an info record.
The assignment of a valuation class to a material group enables the system to determine different accounts for the individual material groups.
This is usally useful for creation of PO and account posting for materials without an MMR.
When you create a PO you mention only the material group, based on which the purchase info like the Deadline monitorying, over/under delivery tolerances, Vendor evaluation etc gets incorporated into the PO. The account posting will get captured against the Valuation class maintained to the Material Group for which the GL account mapping will be done against the V.Class in the OBYC.

Hi! I did the material replication in SRM 5.0 with Server 5.5, but I create in R/3 some materials after the replication....
I have to run new material replication process?? or I have another posibility?? I don´t know, a job, etc...??

Hi Rosa,
Look at this thread for explanations on replicating hierarchies:
Switching Backend System
With initial download of DNL_CUST_PROD1, SRM creates 2 new hierarchies:
- R3MATCLASS for material groups/product categoris
- R3PRODHIER for material/service types.
The system assign each of them to purchasing & product applications.
Predefined set types are also assigned in R3PRODHIER.
With next download of DNL_CUST_PROD1, you can update R3MATCLASS, but not R3PRODHIER.
In your case, you would have to delete the existing R3PRODHIER (see how in the thread), but as you have already replicated products (assigned to a material type from this hierarchy), this won't be possible.
So, you must first delete the replicated materials (Hope you didn't use them in some SC...).

I have tried tcode J1I7 but it seems start to collect the excise invoice first and then material document.
But my case is to find the material document WITHOUT excise invoice for internal tracking purpose.
At the moment we start from tcode MB51 to get the list of material document and check in J_1IEXCHDR / J_1IEXCDTL

Try creating a Query in Tcode SQVI by combining tables MKPF and J_1IEXCHDR/J_1IEXCDTL for your requirement.

Please advice How to restrict saving of a sales order without a material. That is the system saves the order even if no item is assigned to it.

In standard SAP we can not do that. Even for some requirements of the customer this feature is required, specially in case of milestone billings, custom materials etc. client after saving the empty sales order they may create materials based on that sales order number.
If it is mandatary for u to save sales order only after the entry of the materials, u can try user exits or go for a code with the help of an ABAPer.

Overwriting Conditions data during Material Replication from R/3 to SRM.

Hi,
 When creating a new info record and then running the material replication program everything looks OK. However, if for the same material you create a new info record or change the existing info record and then run the material replication, some of the previous data is removed.
 We implemented BADI(PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2) to read info records from R/3. When i debug BADI all the info record and condition info is populated. Once the control leaves the BADI standard SAP code is not inserting/updating delta condition records. It is only populating latest info record.
 SRM 4.0
 Support pack level : 11
 BADI Name: PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2
 Method Name: MAP_R3_TO_CRM_MATERIAL
 Conditions Populated in structure : COMT_PROD_SERVICE_BDOC- CONDITIONS-CND_BBP_WORKING_SET.

Do you use IPC for pricing? I am not sure whether you can use R/3 4.6C with SRM5.5. Check your systems. Refer SAP notes 539720 if you are using simplified pricing (Classic scenario).
Also check for SAP OSS Notes - 394975 and 420343
Update of price in srm is possible through the SAP OSS Note 420343. This note describes an option to transfer a price from the Backend via a report and a BADI and to store this price in the condition table of the corresponding product in the EBP. But you have to do small changes,i think this note will certainly helps you to transfer material master prices to srm product master automatically.

Go to MB1C enter 561 movement type (initial posting ) .
Material number is must.
It will be against profit center as it is goods receipt and stock value will be credited to our a/c .
