I am trying for delta download regarding Product Masters but i m not able to get success.
ERROR "Exception condition "GUIDFOR_LOGSYS_CHANGED" rais"_

Hi,
This is because the Log system entry in your ECC system has been changed after the first time it was setup.
Kindly refer note 765018 to resolve your error.

Hi Experts,
I am working on Extended classic scenario SRM 7.0 with ECC 6.0, I have created the Material Group and Master data in ECC system. While doing replication via R3AS i am getting the following error msg( I have applied Note 720819 & 330401in ECC ).
Errors:
Hierarchy for material types does not exist
(Before materials are imported from the ERP system, the material types from the ERP system must exist as categories in CRM/EBP. When the Customizing object DNL_CUST_PROD1 is imported, the material types are imported automatically and created under the category MAT in the category hierarchy R3PRODSTYP (product subtype).)
MATERIAL: Object will not be loaded
Pl do the needful.

Steps to create the product category in SRM:
1) Create MM material groups in ECC client. This will create a transport. Go to SRM Tcode R3AS and select the object u201CDNL_CUST_PROD1u201D from the list and run it. You can monitor the job using R3AM1 in SRM. This will bring the material group into SRM. This can be seen in TCode u201CCOMM_HIERARCHYu201D in SRM.
2) Once it is done. Go to IMG in SRM and go to path SRM> SRM server> Cross app biz settings> Account aassigmnet> Define GL code for Acc *** Cat and Prod Cat. Maintain the GL code against this prod cat for all the account assignment codes. This is client specific setting and need to be done in every client by opening it. This GL code is given in the form in ticket.
3) Do a test and check if the product category is available for procurement in SC.

Material replication from ECC to SRM

Dear SRM 7.0 Experts,
We are implementimg SRM 7.0 and we are trying to execute the Initial Load of materials into SRM 7 from ECC. We have completed all the Middleware settings and all the customising required for material replication. Whe we run the initial load (tcode R3AS) and select the first object DNL_CUST_BASIS3, it runs but the status remains "Running" in R3AM1. There is no errors in SMQ1as the entry runs and completes and therefore disappears. There is no errors recorded in SMW0 or SLG1 either. What could be the problem?
I checked in SMQ1 & SMQ2 as well, but there is no entries here for the object DNL_CUST_BASIS3. what we can do to resolve the issue ?

Have you checked the outbound queue in backend R/3 system ?
Have you defined the additional user in CRMCONSUM table apart from the CRM user?
Verify and, if necessary, change or insert entries in tables CRMCONSUM and CRMRFCPAR as
described in SAP Note 430980. See also SAP Note 720819.

Problems during material replication from SRM 5.0 to ECC 6.0

Hello all,
I tried to replicate material master from ECC to SRM but i am not successful.
System can able to replicate all the product categories but not the material.
System showing the process is done and it is showing green light when i drilldown.
Can any one ever had experienced such a problem?

As mentioned in SAP OSS note 872533, DNL_CUST_BASIS3 is obsolete, therefore, Please skip the download of the object DNL_CUST_BASIS3 and continue with DNL_CUST_PROD0, DNL_CUST_PROD1 and MATERIAL.
Following OSS note 872533, DNL_CUST_BASIS3 is obsolete.(Though OSS note mention DNL_CUST BASIS3 is obsolete for SRM 5.0, However, this customizing object does help in synchronizing the UOM from R/3 to SRM.)
However, it seems to still work in SRM50...

For ISO codes synchronisation, you can go to transaction CUNI -> ISO and then select "utilities" -> "adjustment".
A pop-up will be displayed to select the backend code

Material Group Replication from ECC

Dear SRMers,
System Landscape : ECC 6.0 and SRM 5.0.
I am doing a material group replication from ECC to SRM using the DNL_CUST_PROD1 customizing object. Before the replication ECC was trying to confirm the target RFC destination(SRM) by prompting a logon. I logged in as myself and the system gave a CALL_FUNCTION_OPEN_ERROR.
I defined the CRM Consumer as SRM in the CRM middleware parameters..
My question is do we need to define the User SRM in SU01 and when ECC tries to confirm the target RFC destination, do we need to login as the SRM User ?

Hi,
The RFC user which you define in the SRM RFC detsination has to be obviously as SU01 user in SRM.Also the RFC user need to have SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW profile attached.See note 642202 for details.

Replicating authorization roles via HR replication from ECC 6 to SRM 5.0

Hi,
I'm interested in knowing whether anyone has used the distribution model to copy roles (AG objects) between ECC 6 and SRM 5.0.
Someone said that it's possible so I would like to validate that statement as I don't know whether it is possible and practical.
If you have any knowledge or experience could you please share it?

I was told that it can be done but I don't know enough about the HR replication process to acknowledge or challenge, hence the question.
Are you implying that it's not possible or simply that it's not done?
I had an earlier post regarding assigning roles to positions in SRM Replicating authorization roles via HR replication from ECC 6 to SRM 5.0 that you replied to but never replied to my subsequent question. It can be done because one of my other clients is doing it. We're however unable to get it work at my current client's site. Do you have any experience with this subject?

Replication of Material Changes from ECC to CRM

Hi All,
I had selected deregistration for R3A* queue from the queue list using tcode SMQR. From that time I am unable to see the material master replications from ECC to CRM.
So, again I selected registration for R3A* queue from the SMQR. Even now I am unable see the replications.
Please can any one help me.

Hi Andrea,
I write to pull the master data from ECC as per the guide line given in the link. But there some problem. No master data is being transferred to SRM server from the ECC.
I am stuck in the process R3AS. When I am running the transaction and seeing the status in R3AM1, the indicator shows, the program is running.
But when I see the report through SMQ1, the staus is SYS Failure. on further drill down, The error is " The current application triggered a termination "
Can you help me in sorting out the problem and when I have gone wrong. If you have any documents for step by step procedure for the same, can you forward to my id, darpan2k6 in gmail.

Material Updates from ECC to CRM

Hi Experts,
We recently had application of Enhancement Pack4 on our ECC system. After the application EHP4 pack, we have started getting some material updates from ECC to CRM. And those updates are failing in CRM as we do not have any material set up in CRM. Due to these failed updates, lot of dumps are getting created in CRM. So can u please advice where/how in ECC i can restrict these updates to go to CRM. Any help in this will be highly appreciable.

Hello Charitha,
In txnn:R3AC4 of CRM , check INACTIVE flag for object MATERIAL (and any other objects whose data is not required in CRM)
for your RFC destination (ECC).
This would prevent any automatic data flow for this object from R/3 to CRM.

Problem on Material Replication from R/3 to EBP

Hi friends,
I am having a problem on Material replication from R/3 to EBP. I had configured all the required settings in EBP as well as in R/3. Whenever we are starting initial loading R3AS I am getting outbound queues in EBP instead of R/3. I am getting the error like 'The current application triggered a termination'. I could able to replicate Vendor and Locations from R/3 to EBP. If anybody can solve this problem.

Scheduling agreement from ECC 6.0 to SRM EBP 5.0

Hi Andrea,
It is not possible to send Scheduling agreements from ECC to EBP.Same is the case with contracts.
You can only upload backend contracts to SRM. Using GOA you can create either a contract or a Scheduling agreement in R/3.
As informed by Usman, when you integrate R/3 (MM) with SUS it is possible to send S.As to vendors via SUS.

Use the FM mentioned in the previous reply.If you want to find all the p groups maintained under one single org unit/node,pass the org unit no of that node/org in the import parameter IV_ORGUNIT of the FM "BBP_OM_DETERMINE_RESP_PGRP".In the export parameter," ET_PURCH_DATA",you can see all the Pur groups maintained under that single node/Org unit.
Only change you will hae to do for calling this FM from ECC,is make a copy of this FM in SRM and make it REMOTE enabled so that you can call this FM via RFC from ECC.

Material replication from R/3 to SRM - Issue with Material group

Hello All,
                  I am working on BADI PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2 and method MAP_R3_TO_CRM_MATERIALMaterial replication part from R/3 to SRM.
I am using a Ztable to map r/3 material group to SRM material group(Product category).
For example Material M1 with material group 100 is transferred to SRM. Material group(Product category) 100 exist in SRM, but I am changing the material group to 200 in the product_customer2 badi. its working fine.
In another scenario, Material with material M1 with material group 300. Material group(product category) 300 does not exist in SRM,
I am changing the material group to 200 in the bdoc, in the product_customer2 badi. It is not working. The LUW is failing in SMQ2 transaction with the error "Error in Mapping (Details: transaction SMW01)". The BDOC is failing with error "Category for material group 300 does not exist"
I tried to deactivate the badi PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2, even then the FM MAP_BAPIMTCS_AND_PROCESS is validating the material group from R/3.
I tried to change the material group 300 to the existing material group 200 at initial stage in debugging in function module MAP_BAPIMTCS_AND_PROCESS but still the bdoc is failing with error "No storage form defined for product type 01 / logical system".
I am doing my testing using the following steps.
1. change the material descriptioni in MM02 in R/3.
2. An item is displayed in the queue in SMQ2 in SRM.
3. I have debugged the LUW and analyzed my badi by setting breakpoint at method MAP_R3_TO_CRM_MATERIAL, its changing the material group in the bdoc properly.
   that didnt work.
   also i tried to change the material group in the function module MAP_BAPIMTCS_AND_PROCESS before the badi is called.
4. I am checking the BDOc status using tcode SMW01 and checking the material using tcode COMMPR01.
can someone tell me how I can change the R/3 material group to SRM material group at the time of mapping in SRM?

Overwriting Conditions data during Material Replication from R/3 to SRM.

Hi,
 When creating a new info record and then running the material replication program everything looks OK. However, if for the same material you create a new info record or change the existing info record and then run the material replication, some of the previous data is removed.
 We implemented BADI(PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2) to read info records from R/3. When i debug BADI all the info record and condition info is populated. Once the control leaves the BADI standard SAP code is not inserting/updating delta condition records. It is only populating latest info record.
 SRM 4.0
 Support pack level : 11
 BADI Name: PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2
 Method Name: MAP_R3_TO_CRM_MATERIAL
 Conditions Populated in structure : COMT_PROD_SERVICE_BDOC- CONDITIONS-CND_BBP_WORKING_SET.

Do you use IPC for pricing? I am not sure whether you can use R/3 4.6C with SRM5.5. Check your systems. Refer SAP notes 539720 if you are using simplified pricing (Classic scenario).
Also check for SAP OSS Notes - 394975 and 420343
Update of price in srm is possible through the SAP OSS Note 420343. This note describes an option to transfer a price from the Backend via a report and a BADI and to store this price in the condition table of the corresponding product in the EBP. But you have to do small changes,i think this note will certainly helps you to transfer material master prices to srm product master automatically.

Questions regarding HR Org Structure replication from ECC to SRM

Hi Experts ,
We have SRM7.0 ( SP08) with ECC6 ( Ehp4) having Classic Scenario .
I managed to replicate entire HR Org Structure from ECC system to SRM system. I replicated O (Organization), S( Postion) and P ( Person), which successfully created O, S and CP in SRM with BP for O and US...Refered Note 934372, 312090, 550055 and help link on SDN./wiki.....etc
Now I have below questions in mind.
1. In SRM we requiers Org unit for Company Code, Purchase Organization and Purchase Group...which we set in FUNCTION tab for the requiered Org Unit with Checkbox and value of it and Logical system.....but in HR Org strcuture we do not have such Org Unit....so how to manage/create such these Org Units ( i.e.Company Code, Purchase Organization and Purchase Group ) ?...
Do I need to create these Org unit manually in SRM in PPOSA_BBP ? If yes, can I create these Org Unit above or between these replicated HR Org Units or I need to created it separtly in paralllel to these HR replicated Org Units?
2. If above I do, then what will impact on the delta /change replication from HR integraion ?
3. In ECC HR org Structure there are hundres of employee, out of that I just wanted to send the Postion ( we have postion based security in HR) whom only SRM Role had assigned . How it can be acheived ?

Hi ,
Initially when I repliacted P of HR Org Struture it sucessfully craeted BP in SRM and was CP in Org Structure.
But suddenly , what happned don;t know, when I replicating Employees (P) in SRM , it is assigning to respective Postion (S), but BP is not creating in SRM and in the USERS_GEN for this User, its postion and ORg Unit to whom it assigned is giving below error
Determination of connections to object 'BP' of 'CP' '00000015' failed
Message no. BBP_UM_UI036
I checked all this as per Note 550055, 934372..etc....checked respetcive setting in table T77S0...I checked address alos....but no any clue......IDoC in SRM posting sucessfully....
Can anyone please suggest what should be the cause and solution of it ?
