Material Replication still running

Hello,
I checked SMQ1 and SMQ2 in SRM and in my backend and those table are empty.
I set a filter and launch my material replication, but it still running for long long time. it is not normal and i don't know why...can you help me?

Hi Experts, I am new to this Forum and I am facing the following issue,
System Info :
SRM 5.0
ECC 6.0
I am trying to replicate two materials from the backend R/3 system and have set material filters on the SRM side.
The filters are Table: MARA, Field: MATNR, OP= Equality(=low), LOW = T-SRM13, inclusive defined.
The filters are Table: MARA, Field: MATNR, OP= Equality(=low), LOW = T-SRM113, inclusive defined.
This is my sequence of operations in SRM:
I deleted exisiting queues, started initial load and then activated the inbound Queues for my client.
Then when checking, Monitor Load objects in SRM, the status for Material is stuck in Running mode with an yellow sign.
Please let me know if you have any advice.

First of all, check RFC queues in transatcion SMQ1 and SMQ2 for any detailed information.
Make sure if Your RFC user has SAP_ALL authorisation - if not add it and delete all material queues and run again.
Make shure if You run report BBP_PRODUCT_SETTINGS_MW with proper option and unchecked "Test mode". Once you have done this rerun your initial load for DNL_CUST_PROD0, DNL_CUST_PROD1, BASIS3 and MATERIAL.

Overwriting Conditions data during Material Replication from R/3 to SRM.

Hi,
 When creating a new info record and then running the material replication program everything looks OK. However, if for the same material you create a new info record or change the existing info record and then run the material replication, some of the previous data is removed.
 We implemented BADI(PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2) to read info records from R/3. When i debug BADI all the info record and condition info is populated. Once the control leaves the BADI standard SAP code is not inserting/updating delta condition records. It is only populating latest info record.
 SRM 4.0
 Support pack level : 11
 BADI Name: PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2
 Method Name: MAP_R3_TO_CRM_MATERIAL
 Conditions Populated in structure : COMT_PROD_SERVICE_BDOC- CONDITIONS-CND_BBP_WORKING_SET.

Do you use IPC for pricing? I am not sure whether you can use R/3 4.6C with SRM5.5. Check your systems. Refer SAP notes 539720 if you are using simplified pricing (Classic scenario).
Also check for SAP OSS Notes - 394975 and 420343
Update of price in srm is possible through the SAP OSS Note 420343. This note describes an option to transfer a price from the Backend via a report and a BADI and to store this price in the condition table of the corresponding product in the EBP. But you have to do small changes,i think this note will certainly helps you to transfer material master prices to srm product master automatically.

Material Replication filtering problem

Dear Experts,
we are working on SRM 5.0 Server 5.5 and we are facing following problem during material replication and delta download replication. After making all steps related customizing objects alignment between R/3 and SRM, we putted the filter using transaction R3AC1:
- Table = MARA
- Field = PSTAT
- OP = CP
- Low = E
- Inclusive indicator
Then we Synchronized the filter and checked on R/3 table CRMFILTAB: the filter entry was existing even if disappeared after running on SRM MATERIAL Initial Download (strange!)
Our expectation was to get all materials from back-end having purchasing views and linked to material groups replicated. Unfortunately the number of materials replicated are less !!!!!
Also we tried to make delta download and the above filter is not taken into consideration during delta download: all products modified on the back-end are replicated, also those materials without purchasing view!!!!!
What is wrong???? What should we do for making this filter working???

Table b has more than 330 millions rows and table c has about 3 millions rows. However the creation of the MV itself tok about an hour.
After the MV was created I tried to create an index on dato but I got:
ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified
When I checked the active sessions, I see this:
/* MV_REFRESH (DEL) */ delete from "X"." SRC_MV"
So, now I am not able to create any index, drop the MV or even kill the session that is running the /* MV_REFRESH (DEL) */.
Why is this DELETE statement running, when I said REFRESH on demand? Is this running since the MV was created?
On the other hand, the database is shutdown/startup everyday at 8pm/10pm, and there has not been any problem with this shutdown/startup, so I can't understand why this Delete statement is still running.
The MV has now a compilation error status, why is not possible to drop it then?
Can anybody help me?

When I try to kill the session I get this:

Material replication from ECC to SRM

Dear SRM 7.0 Experts,
We are implementimg SRM 7.0 and we are trying to execute the Initial Load of materials into SRM 7 from ECC. We have completed all the Middleware settings and all the customising required for material replication. Whe we run the initial load (tcode R3AS) and select the first object DNL_CUST_BASIS3, it runs but the status remains "Running" in R3AM1. There is no errors in SMQ1as the entry runs and completes and therefore disappears. There is no errors recorded in SMW0 or SLG1 either. What could be the problem?
I checked in SMQ1 & SMQ2 as well, but there is no entries here for the object DNL_CUST_BASIS3. what we can do to resolve the issue ?

Have you checked the outbound queue in backend R/3 system ?
Have you defined the additional user in CRMCONSUM table apart from the CRM user?
Verify and, if necessary, change or insert entries in tables CRMCONSUM and CRMRFCPAR as
described in SAP Note 430980. See also SAP Note 720819.

Request still running

Hi Expert,
I did extract data for SAP HR Recruitment from source system (SAP R/3) to Cube in BW 7.0, when I ran the InfoPackage, the message always with status "Request still running" (detail message --> missing message: Number of send message) until few hours, no data extracted to PSA.
But the problem only in 0APPLICANT (text and attributes) datasource, no problem found in the others Recruitment datasources.
I've to DataSource replication, delete/re-create infopackage, re-arrange transformation. And I've check source system using RSA3 and Applicant data available in the source system.
I've check using SM50, the process always running but never finish (status always Yellow).
Is there any solution for this problem ?

Hi....
Have you checked the extraction job in the Source System ...........copy the request number ......go to the source system...........SM37......put *REQXXXXXXX........check whether the Job got completed or not.....
Also , In the IP Monitor screen....in the Menu Bar ---> Settings --> Evaluation of requests (Traffic Lights) --> For the option " If no data is available in the system the request "......you should select "Status Successful".....by default it will be "Status Successful" only...until and unless someone change it manually....
Also check for short dump and TRFC..........in both source system and data ware house.........in the Menu Bar --> Environment.......there you will get all the options....
To check the Short Dumps.........you have search for the Request Number.....if it is there it means load went to short dump........
If TRFCs are stucj press F6 to push it........
After that also if it doesn't progress....it means it went to dump.....then change the stsus to red manually and repeat the load......

I started the UOM replication with DNL_CUST_BASIS3 but since 2 hours it still running.
I R3AM1 i cant see that block is at 11 but I don't understand it doesn't stop yet....
can you help me please?

Hi! I did the material replication in SRM 5.0 with Server 5.5, but I create in R/3 some materials after the replication....
I have to run new material replication process?? or I have another posibility?? I don´t know, a job, etc...??

Hi Rosa,
Look at this thread for explanations on replicating hierarchies:
Switching Backend System
With initial download of DNL_CUST_PROD1, SRM creates 2 new hierarchies:
- R3MATCLASS for material groups/product categoris
- R3PRODHIER for material/service types.
The system assign each of them to purchasing & product applications.
Predefined set types are also assigned in R3PRODHIER.
With next download of DNL_CUST_PROD1, you can update R3MATCLASS, but not R3PRODHIER.
In your case, you would have to delete the existing R3PRODHIER (see how in the thread), but as you have already replicated products (assigned to a material type from this hierarchy), this won't be possible.
So, you must first delete the replicated materials (Hope you didn't use them in some SC...).

I am trying to uninstall firefox and when i click uninstall it says the program is still running so i stop it and it exits the remove program

im trying to uninstal firefox so i went to my control pannel clicked on add or remove progams then clicked on mozzola firefox and clicked remove it said it was still running so i clicked ctrl alt dlt and clicked task manager and ended firefox from running and when i did that the box to uninstall firefox exited so i clicked it again and the program started running again i dont know what to do i need firefox uninstalled

I assume you are using windows. There are two options:
1. Try restarting your computer and then try uninstalling.
2. Firefox might be a program that starts immediately upon booting. In that case, go to the task manager, end all tasks that firefox is running. Then try uninstalling firefox

When I close firefox I can't open a window again. It tells me that firefox is still running and I have to restart my system. This is a recurring problem on a brand new system and very irritating.

I don't know what other details I can give you. I am not very computer wise. Just an every day web browser and emailer. This is a catch 22 problem. For example when I am installing a program; adobe flash player for example, it tells me to close firefox to continue and when I do I get the firefox is still running message even though there is no window. And so the installation isn't completed. I like firefox but this is a bit of a dealbreaker. hope you can help.

After closing the firefox browser of new 4.0 it hangs and says its still running but no browser is visable, XP on 3.6 didnt have the issue ..so whats up???

Open browser then close no browser is open and then click to re-open the browser it says it is still running and cannot get another browser for about a 45 sec....have Windows XP and didn't have the issue on 3.6 version.

Discontinuation Material in MRP run

Hi,
In our scenario, we are using Discontinued parts with (Discontinuation Ind - 1, Effectivity-out date - Nil) with follow-up material in MRP4 view of MM.
It is observed that whenever there is no sufficient stock exist, dependant requirement is not transferred to the follow-up material during MRP run. However is the same is happening during Material Availability check.
Is there any IMG setting for this to happen during MRP run also.

Hi ,Parthasarathy,
if an item to be disticontinued item , the following must be true.
1. you have to define Discont ind= 1, and followup material in MRP VIEW,
2. Both Discont item and followup items should have same base unit of measure.
3. When BOM of Header Material creation, discontinuation data is maintained for the discontinued item and follow-up data is maintained for the follow-up item -in CS01.
4. Then you have to assign some value for Discontinuation Group in "Discontinuation Data" for your Discot item in BOM. -in CS01
5. Then create a followup group with same value of Discont Group for yourFollowup item -in CS01.
During the MRP run the Dependent requirements of header material will be transferred to Followup item if it is not enough stock of Discont item.
Please check your Discont data has defined in BOM. The value of Discont group and follow group should be same.

Im still running 10.6.8 on an old MacBook 2.4 Intel Core 2 Duo. "Genius" said I couldn't upgrade to enough memory to use 10.7. Doing ok so far except my bank/credit cards no longer support Quicken. If I switch to 10.7.x, what will I LOSE? I don't do change well, and really hate surprises. I understand scrolling goes the opposite way, that Search works differently, and that I'll have to update some of my software, for example, and then THAT software will be different. For example, does anyone know if upgraded 10.7.x is as fully functioning in Quicken 2013 as old OS and old Quicken, for example? Will it communicate with my banks?? That, and general frustration with tired-computer issues would make the switch more appealing.
