Material Stock at storage location for particular date!

Dear Friend,
I need a table or bapi which gives stock for particular storage location on particular day. That is MMBE and if you go into detail list (shift+f7). I want same thing.
I have tried in MARD table, but it gives stock of a material for most current date.

Block Storage Location from further posting
   You can block the storage location of a material without affecting the rest of the location using the same material.
    Create a Physical Inventory document for the storage location with transaction MI01
    Select the Posting Block checkbox.
    This would prevent transactions from occuring until you either post or delete the physical inventory document.
    (There are no impact, unless you do a post difference for the physical inventory document.)

Block Storage location for particular material

Hi,
We gave defined storage location for finished product as follows>
1050 - 2-8°
1040 - RT
When I have created one material, wrongly i have created it in 1050 instead of 1040.
Then i have extend that material to 1040. Now that material is showing both storage locations.
Is it possible to block storage location 1050 for this material only?
Because of both SLOC thre are chaces of wrong receipt in 1050.
Pl. help me to solve this problem.

I have flagged storage location for deletion but till for this storage location system allows receipt also system allows stk. transfer in this location.
Pl. help me so that storage location is permanently deleted from the material or system not allow for GR.

Storage location stock with value on a particular date

i m in search of a report or logic which can fetch stock as in mb5b on a particular date. mb5b shows sloc stock but without value and show valuated stock without sloc. can anyone help me out to find such report or give some logic or table from where it can fetch sloc stock with value.

Hi,
All the stock related reports like MC.1,MC.5,MCBA etc will give you stock for a particular months range. he only report giving stock on a date is MB5B .However in this report you will not get the storage location stock value.
Now try the report in T Code J3RFLVMOBVED which will serve your purpose .Here in the material parameter tab give your storage location and the date range in the main tab Posting date range and than execute.

Automatically creation of storage location for material, in MF60

Hi all,
my collegue of PP module uses MF60 transaction.
When he puts XXXX as Replenishment storage location, the system tells him this error: To stge loc. XXXX does not exist for material M1010000182 in plant 0001.
In MM i have activate the automatic creation of storage location for plant 0001 and for all movement types.
Why MF60 does not respect this requirement?
If I try to do movement type 311 with MIGO, manually, there's no problem to transfer the material from a storage location to , XXXX s.loc.
Is there something more that I have to do?

Try the table MARD: Storage Location Data for Material, where in the field LABST will give the stock field, against a given material/plant/Storage Loc.

Sub storage location for Finished Goods Material

Hi MM Gurus,
In our organization, FG materials are physically stored under different sub areas, even though the same lies under single storage location in SAP. Currently the users are downloading the stock information into excel and allocating the mentioned physical storage areas
Since the option of creating further storage locations at the same level or going for warehouse management is not feasible for us, can we resolve this issue by going for any sub storage location (sub dividing the existing storage location into physically storage sub areas)?

Yes your requirement is possible and I have seen it working in one of our client. They named the sub storage location, as STORAGE BIN, and this storage bin data is stored in material master under storage location view. This input field is created with help of abap.
This way your storage location is distributed under sub storage locations namely storage bin, this way you can create areas of your storage location without turning on warehouse management and then assign materials to the storage location and then to storage bin, thus meeting your requirement.

Any Idoc for "storage location for a material" ?

Does anybody know if there is an IDoc type to insert storage location for a material (Table MARD).
BDC is also an option but IDoc should be a better choice.

Hi Ankur,
Storage location view of a material can be created with
MATMAS message type ( Segment E1MARDM ) . You can also use program RMDATIND with relevant data to add the storage location view.

Block Storage Location for Material Movement

Dear MM Gurus,
pl let us know how to block storage location for a material in Plant.
Requirement is transfer posting (MIGO) should not allow by using 311 mov type in sloc, error message to receive.
example ;
material ; 5000
sloc ; 0001
sloc ; 0002
migo-transfer posting should not happen by using 311
5000
0001 - to 0002
we want to block sloc-0002, how to block sloc, pl help if any solution available.

Hi,
You can block the material completely for any movement type by checking X Plant matl status in Basic data view of material master.Or if you want to block specific movement type it will have to done thro authorisation but will apply to all materials .Here the authorisation object M_MSEG_LGO can be worked to remove the movement type or storage loaction .

A storage location is customizing, this is in general open to take any material.
depending on the customizing setting for Auto.create storage location you allow SAP to add the storage location view to your material master automatically with the first movement of a material to a storage location or not.
if you dont allow that, then you have to maintain the storage location view in material master manually for each storage location before you can post a movement for this material in a certain storage location.

Go to SPRO --> IMG --> Materials Management --> Inventory Management and Physical Inventory --> Plant Parameters.
Tick Create storage locations automatically. System will extend the material to the storage location maintained in the transaction.

There's no standard report for this.
You can develop you own report using current stock level (MARD, MSPR, MSKA, EKBE (stock in transit), etc) and goods movement (MKPF, MSEG) data.

Hi,
Stock statement storage location wise can be get, by using T-Code MB5B.
But Quantity can be gettable on storage location basis. However value can be gettable on Plant level.
First you have to take the plant stock on any particular date in which you can get Plant Qty and Plant Value. Please divide Plant value by Plant Qty, you can get Rate of each material. After that take storage location wise stock and multiply with Rate.
Please note that in SAP prices are maintained on Plant level basis. Hence, it is a small workaround.
Secondly you get Monthend Stock of any month at storage location level with value using T-code mc.9

Stock at Storage Location

Hello there,
Could anyone tell me the possibility of populating stock at storage location. I am using 2lis_03_BF and 2lis_03_UM for populating the Material Movements cube in BW 3.5. When we checked the data all the values for materials are populated against Plant level and the quantities at Plant - Storage location level.
I have implemented the SAP How to Document for populating the values at storage location level but I have two issues on this.
1. The actual values of materials are not accurate when displayed at Plant-Storage location level. Because they are calculated using Average value formula as per the note. How to realize the actual values at storage location level also taking into consideration the respective revaluation done at plant level?
2. If I run the report for all Plants - storage locations it is either timing out or taking a lot of time to display. We are maintaining 45 plants and 10 storage locations.
Could anyone tell me how to realize these values at storage location in an efficient way if possible.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I did implement that note to get the values at storage location level. The values I am getting are not accurate after following this note. Example It is displaying the value of the material equally for all storage location which are valuated at different prices. ( Taking average values).
Also If the material was revaluated the price correction is created at plant level and it is not taking the correction into consideration for displaying the individual values i.e against respective storage location. But I am getting the total result at storage location accurately.
Is it possible in BW to display the values at storage location accurately as in R/3.

Creation of storage location for halb, every thing processed with raw materials for production orders reg fert and even settled. Later a storage location is to be created for halb. When I created storage location for halb and when I want to post initial stock through MB1C I am getting error saying material type and storage location not maintained. Can any one solve my problem. Are the material masters of your materials extended to the new storage location / have you defined automatic creation (for movement) in customizing (SPRO > Material Manegement > Inventory management & PI > Automatic movements > Create Storage Location Automatically)?
If the material masters are not extended you can't book those materials to that SL.
