Material to mat. conversion with diff. quantities

hI,
Material A having 10 pieces, I want, material to material conversion with different quantity, Ex- Mat B = 12 Pieces.
Mat A 10 Pieces conversionin to Mat B 12 Pieces
Can any body Tell me which MVtyp should USe.
The Valuation of Both Materials is MAP.
The valuution of A is 100
The Valuation of B is 150.
Can i Use MVT 201 and 202 for the same.
If OK,
What about the diferecnce Prices.

if you want to receive 12 material from conversion of material A as 10 then oyu can not user direct trasfer movement type.
you have to create production order and enter component as Material A for 10 peice and receive Mateiral B as 12.
you can not do with material to materail transfer via inventory

Unit Conversion issue for same material with Diff KPI

Hi,
i have a report with multiple key figures which form a structure.
Unit conversion for this report and all the key figures are defined at report level.
Below are the settings in place
Source currency:    Data record from target
Target Currency:    From variable ( Input variable in BeX report)
Conversion factor: Dyanamic Determination of conversion factor
                               Using Reference Infobject if available otherwise use T006
                               Reference Infobject: 0Material
Issue: For 1 Key figure conversion to TO is happening, however for other Key figure conversion is not happening for the same material.
Note: Conversion to TO is defined in BEX settings for Info object 0material and stored in DSO UOM0MATE.
Why for same material some key figures convert to target unit correctly and not the others?
See the attached screenshot. Sales Quantity is convertin to "TO" while Volume third party shows figue in"ERR" for same material.

Hi,
Following reasons cause to your issue,
1. Unit Conversion is not maintained for that particular material in source system Material itself, so that conversion data data may not updated in DSO (UOM0MATE).
2. For particular transnational data record key figure value don't have any base unit or units measures, that case also you may get that error.
Request check the transnational data in your InfoProvider and 0Material Master data and DSO data (UOM0MATE) . Correct the data based on that.
Check the Master data test in RSRV for 0Material, if any SID generations was missed or not.
I hope this can be help to find the cause of error , based on that you can resolve problem.

This means that your customization is wrong then...
In KE4J or KEPC you have assigned costing keys to your material types or some other combination... You should have done this config in a way that costing key is not called for in the case of non valuated materials...
In Ke40 you have defined costing key where in you have specified "Issue error msg if no cost estimate found".. This costing key is assigned in KE4J or KEPC in a way that it is getting called even in case of non valuated materials...
Do you have a separate mat type for non valuated material? If yes, remove this mat type from KE4J/KEPC..
If you dont have separate mat type i.e. in the same mat type if you have both valuated and non valuated, then you have a problem.. You would get stuck in that case

In Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), the system tried to valuate a line item using the current standard cost estimate.
In order to determine the current plan period, the system needs to read the valuation segment of the material master.
The system has found that the current plan period is not filled forproduct "117122" in plant "UBE1".
We have the follow configuration in trans.: KE40:
. Determine material cost estimate
   . Transf. Standard Cost Estimate
. Costing Variant
. Control Data for Standard Cost Estimate
   . Period Indicator = "Current Standard Cost Estimate acc. to entry in mat master
. Addiitonal data CO-PC
    . Transfer cost estimate in controlling area currency "activated"
We think the reason about our error is because the field above is activated and some configuration more is necessary for this case. For examplo: Trans.: OKYW and this one was not configurated yet.
Do you know what happend?
If we need to configure some transation, or sonly process the cost estimate?

It is happenning in a Client that some people are doing the configuration.
Before we didin't have in KE40, the fiel "Transfer cost estimate in controlling area currency" activated.
And now, the people activate that in this new Client and I don't know the impact about that.
I think we have to make the configuration in OKYW.
The other transation you told me, we don't have any information.
Could you tell me some other idea what happend?
Message error is just "Message no. KE350"
Abou claculate the cost:
It was calculated by trans.: CK11N for future planning and the real wasn't not possible to release because this material already have moviments.
Could you tell us is there is some thing more to do?

How to update BOM with diff. ECN

Hi Team
During change in BOM using ECM, I am allowed to change it with same ECN. If we change it with diff. ECN, it keeps the history of previous ECN.
Foe example a BOM has 3 diff. items, which is created with ECN: 001.
Now if we delete 2 items & add 1 item, then system displays all the items with respective change no.
i.e. Total 6 line items are displayed.
Pls suggest solution.

For your case you need to :
Create a different Change Number through T Code: CC01 and create a new BOM (for the same material as it exists without ECN agaist any components) with this new change number. If you now delete / add some components (after you enter the BOM with this new ECN) ;it will be exclusively be recorded with this ECN.
If you use the same ECN; and do further changes at the components; all chages till date will be recorded as you have mentioned.

Need to check the VL02n for given shipping point , also if the said material shows is not available then you can even check MMBE, this report shows on order stock so you can remove this on order stock.
On order stock can be removed by using vl02n, put F4 in the outbound delivery field enter it. All open delivery list (not picked or not posted for goods issue will come)

Material code line repeats with same values in a Query

Hi Experts,
I have created a small query (SQVI) to fetch the material master details of a plant. I see a lot a material codes repeating with the same data in each report I extract. So everytime I have to download the report to an excel, filter and then submit to users.
Please advise your thoughts
Tables used (in order) MARC > MBEW > MARA > MAKT
Primary input fields are Plant & Material code
other input fields are Material group and Material type
Output fields are

if a material has descriptions in sveal languages, then you get one record per language.
if your material have split valuation active, then you get one record per valuation type.
Add teh language to your selection to select only the description of a certain language (do the same for valuation type if your material is split valuated)

I am trying to insert rows for alert_id 22 with diff abc_id and xyz_id

I am trying to insert rows for alert_id 22 with diff abc_id and xyz_id
these inserts will store in two tables that I have to join in the cursor.
I have written cursor without passing cursor parameters. but here i need to pass acb_id and xyz_id along with alert_id.
then if these are saticified with alert_id 22 then I want to stop the loop run, else i need to continue the loop. bcause the abc_id and xyz_id are diff for alert_id 22
This is the issue I am facing!
Please let me know if you have any idea. Let me know how to use cursor parameters here and in loop.

Previously iChat had tried a Last Chat/IM option when using Saved Transcripts - which itself was an option.
iChat has also tried "Saving" the Last Chat by leaving a Chat window open and using something similar to the Lion method of showing an app in the state is was closed in.
In Messages the option to Save Transcripts has been removed and Chats or all types are saved as a matter of course.
What this tends to mean for your iChat style Buddy Chats is that it opens all the Transcripts for that buddy as a sort of History you can scroll back through if you want (I have some Buddies with saved chats gong back to 2004)
With the Syncing of iMessages with iPhones and iPads (or Touches) then it seems this works slightly differently.
Although you can delete the chat and the contents of the Chat as separate action it is true that in the Beta as soon as you connect to the same Contact that the contents of the previous chats are shown to you.
I have found that Messages stores a data base of info on iMessages in Your Home Folder/Library/Messages
I have found that deleting this chat-db removes the "History" that keep popping up.
By default the Saved "iChats" are also stored in the Home Folder/Documents/iChats (At least this is the default place iChat used and they go to the same iChats folder where ever you had it)
Some people claim removing iMessages saved here stops the "History" reappearing.
In Lion the only access to the Home Folder/Library is via the Finder's Go Menu and hiding down the ALT key

Go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, and make sure that your phone number is checked. If it is not, then scroll to the top of that same screen, click on your Apple ID, and sign out of Messages, and then back in again.

Printing differ with differ printer

i am facing problem while printing script result showing different display with diff. printer.
Issue is : printing more characters in column so, all other column values are shifting right side while with another printer it is printing correct.

need to mange by creating different paragraph formats & use
left ,centre allignments based on your requirement
& check its allignments

Unique issue with PDF to WORD .doc conversion with Acrobat Pro - any ideas?

I have been unable to solve the following issue when converting (save as...) PDF documents to Microsoft Word .doc using numerous methods. This could either be an issue that would be fixed in Acrobat Pro itself, or in MS Word - posting to the Adobe forums first.
PREFACE: I am attempting to use the converted .doc file with translation applications/software. Google Translator Toolkit is what I use the most, but ALL other translators are having this very same issue with the .doc file. --The source PDFs are product information from drug manufacturers in various countries that I need to have translated to English. I do not have access to their source documents, as they do not provide their own source docs for obvious reasons.
ALSO: I cannot use Google Translator toolkit to translate from PDFs directly - if you do that, it will attempt to translate a PDF and then export in an .html file, but it does not get the exact spacing of the sentences correctly, which leads to errors in translating - key things such as "can take with alcohol" and "do not take with alcohol". So that's out!
I am not having any problems with the resultant .doc file in MS Word itself. It looks right, the spacing matches the original PDF source perfectly, prints correctly, etc... Reference here on a product info sheet from Austria in German:
The problem: This is a screenshot from Google Translator Toolkit - the right side of the image - the spacing in the lettering from the .doc file I am uploading is not being read correctly, resulting in untranslated gibberish. (Note: this isn't a problem with the translation applications or software -- all are having this issue with .doc files converted from .pdf - this issue isn't present with any old .doc file that wasn't converted from a .pdf) -- It's definitely got something to do with some kind of embedded data in the .doc file that I cannot isolate!!)
My settings in Adobe Pro (convert from PDF to .doc):
Page layout: Flowing Text (this prevents the resultant .doc from having all of those text boxes, which also don't then work in translators)
Include comments: True
Include images: True
Run OCR if needed: True
Notes:
-I have run OCR text recognition on the source PDF files in it's specific language.
-I have edited the accessibilty of the PDF and have run the tag recognition and quick checks (to see if they solved the issue, which it did not - tagged or untagged, same problems!)
-I have exported the .doc BACK to PDF using MS Word's function, which results in a great looking tagged PDF. THEN I re-saved this new PDF back as a .doc - same issue.
-I have tried saving the PDF in all of the other formats that the translators accept. All have different issues. The only one that works consistently is saving to a .txt (plain)... The best is a .doc to .doc conversion, with all the original spacing. (I am not spending hours reformatting a .txt translation in word)...
I can't seem to find where this spacing data is in the .doc file!!!! (Changing the fonts, sizes, margins -- doesnt fix this either). I have tried so many methods...
Any thoughts on other things to try in Adobe Pro (or Word)?
EDIT: Here's an additional tidbit of info that may be the key to this... There's some kind of coding that is in the .doc that Adobe Pro converted from the source PDF that doesnt display in Word, but that is being seen by the translation programs....... I have no idea what these are, but I want to remove them!

I would suggest you look at the fonts that are being used. It may be a font issue that is not properly being read by the translation program.

Yes, it could be spam. I get spam text from time to time. Yes, you both could have gotten the same spam at the same time. Spammers re sending out thousands and thousands of messages.

If this material is mto material go to t.code KE40 and maintain define access to standard cost estimate define cost key with
"Transfer sales orde cost estimatex".
If it is mts material define costing key with Transfer std cost estimate and in costing data
costing variant : ppc1
costing verstion: 1
period indicator: Release std cost estimate matching with goods issue or material costing matching posting date.
This will resolve ur problem.

ORA-12008: error in materialized view refresh path with ORA-01652

I have a temp tablespace with 2 tempfiles of 2GB each (total 4GB) but still refresh of materialized view is failing with following error:

I checked and temp ts is completly filled

Temp tablespace size depends how much sort by , order by operation your application performing. You can create new temp tablespace and drop old one with bigger file size
CREATE TEMPORARY TABLESPACE TEMP02 TEMPFILE '\mypath_to_temp\TEMP02' SIZE 256M REUSE AUTOEXTEND ON NEXT 256M MAXSIZE 8192M EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL;
